On one occasion we went to eat at the experience this weekend, we were very delighted with the welcome, warm, conviviality, super good food I asked for mayonnaise, the chef made one just for me. It was during a weekend in Dieppe that we were able to test this restaurant on a human scale. The welcome is warm and welcoming and the traditional cuisine revives memories of family meals, all for excellent value for money. Go there without hesitation!

Very good address that we dont even hesitate to recommend for fear of no longer finding space... The welcome is very pleasant The dishes are varied, very well cooked, plentiful, and always fresh. The quality/price ratio is the best I have found to date in Dieppe in the more than 10 years I have lived there. I like going there with guests to show them around because I know they will like it.

We returned with 5 people, 2 years after our first visit to the LEspérance restaurant. The welcome is always so warm. The meal was very generous and excellent. Very good value for money. The waitress is very friendly and very attentive to the customers. We had a great time. I recommend this restaurant.

Great discovery. Excellent sea sauerkraut. Efficient and pleasant service. A bellboy on the door that leads to the toilets would be a plus. It slams every time it passes. And change the bakery, it s a shame to serve poor quality bread with such a good dish. I give it 5 stars anyway.

A childs meal gobbled up, the sea sauerkraut was ordinary. Dough of the pear cake was very hard. Smiling staff.

We were very well received by the ladies in the room, we were able to order Dieppoise-style mussels without alcohol in the recipe. The waitresses came regularly to ask about our meal, the food was very good, especially the homemade fries, thats a change. Very reasonable price. I recommend mr. Dietary restrictions: For those who do not consume alcohol, there is the possibility of ordering mussels without alcohol in the sauce.

Very pleasant restaurant, very courteous staff. One downside however, the beef was rather tough and the waitress made a mistake when serving the plates between the medium doneness that I had requested and the blue one desired by my brother-in-law. To err is human, therefore not a tragedy. A simple system is to put in the kitchen, depending on the cooking, a wooden aperitif pick with a blue or brown flag, thus reducing the risk of error in the dining room.

A value for money that you find more everywhere.... Exemplary service....clean and friendly I will come back.....

Good morning We stayed in the Lyon en Forêt region and had a reservation at Esperance for two people. We were indeed a little late but I therefore contacted the restaurant again to warn them. We had a very charming man on the phone online. He told us that there were no closing times and that it was not a problem. When we arrived at the restaurant at 9:10 p.m., the atmosphere was completely different. A very bitter and borderline aggressive woman welcomed us. She explains to us that she can take us but only for a dish..?! That the person on the phone was her husband and that it was him We refused to stay and went to the restaurant next door. He was excellent! It s a shame really! I think we need to review internal communication and then smile, life is beautiful ;)

Excellent restaurant in terms of cuisine and hospitality. Friendly staff, friendly boss, a stress-free atmosphere despite the lack of decoration. Two rooms of 40 people each. We had mussels and fries and a fresh plaice. Everything was fresh and delicious, its not often you find plaice. The mussels were also well cooked. The home fries were killer. The dessert was also original and good, douillon with caramel sauce. And a classic, well-done chocolate mousse. Really fair price for such good quality. Only problem, only one toilet for men and women with a lack of soap this long holiday weekend. I will obviously go back there.

Very very very good family restaurant! We came as a family and everyone loved their dish. The restaurant is not crazy in terms of decoration but the dishes are nothing to see, they are excellent. As someone who is used to coming to Dieppe and trying the restaurants in the port, it is one of the best and even the best I think. The fries are homemade, the mussels are very well seasoned, the oysters are excellent... in short, only fresh, quality products. We got it for barely 114th for 5 people even though we all had a starter, a main course, a dessert and a drink. Ill go back there for sure!

Laëtitia and Émelie, the two young women who served us, were beyond adorable. Loves of people. Smiling, accommodating, anticipating needs, proactive and with the patience of an angel in the face of the disasters of our mini gourmets (who didnt leave a fry). We wish them all the success in the world because it s truly deserved!

Two of us had dinner in this restaurant after a weekend of hiking, it was a real pleasure! The staff is very welcoming and warm, caring. We had a slice of chicken curry and Dieppe style scallops. It was delicious! The Dieppoise sauce is very good, I didnt know it and the fries on the side are also very good.

A few years later, I come back to taste their wonderful dishes to travel back in time with my boyfriend. The dishes were tasty. The prices are very correct. I relied on the rather positive reviews but we were very disappointed the dishes were seriously lacking in seasoning, the fish was not very good.... I wouldnt go back there.

Given the different opinions, we were impatient to discover this establishment for ourselves during our visit to Dieppe on Thursday June 29. We tried to call to book, to no avail. And its impossible to leave a message on the answering machine. We called the tourist office who confirmed that the restaurant was open. Anyway, after a 2.5 hour drive we arrived in Dieppe at 12.30pm and found that the restaurant was closed. The tobacco shop next door told us they were on vacation. No indication on your FB page, nor on the storefront, and no message on the answering machine indicating the closure. Its regrettable. To avoid penalizing you too much and given that, to our great regret, we were not able to see the quality of your service, I am still giving you 3 stars, hoping that you will take my comments into account for next time.

Amazing. Super good fries, as well as everything else. My good tip from the professional rat: take the menu for 19.95, and take the fried camembert, the entrecôte, and the dieppoise cut. Honestly, you will enjoy it in quantity, and whats more, for cheap. (We save 8 compared to if I had taken them separately). Waitresses also very pleasant and friendly.

Near the Dusquesne quay, the Espérance team welcomes you in an authentic setting for family cuisine. The mussels are very good and the waitresses delicious. The hinges of the back door would benefit from a light lubrication in order to limit the groans when going back and forth between the room and the kitchen.

The mussels at the top, the daily specials varied and all very good. In short, one of the best value for money in Dieppe. Were not going to lie to each other, we dont come to this establishment for the decor or the frontage, we leave that for the tourist traps, but for the welcome, the smile of the waitresses and especially for the food. From starter to dessert you will not be disappointed unless you are expecting a plethora of choices. Fish obviously but not only that , homemade, fresh, local. In short, an excellent address to keep in your phone for excellent value for money. If you are more than 3 or 4 people it is better to book because it is not very crowded.
