We usually go there, out of season, and have lunch this week, disappointed, the dish of the day was served to me with fries which were not planned and without warning. I was brought back undercooked peas instead, coffee was served to us 10 minutes before dessert, (it was exchanged for us when we asked for it). The fruit salad was very bland and cut very roughly. Too bad, usually its good.

We reserved for 1:30 p.m., aperitif taken, we waited more than a quarter of an hour for our order to be taken, then we waited 3/4 of an hour before being served, I had to manifest our presence Sinom we would not have been served. Crunchy chocolate dessert, not expensive and not great coffee ice cream, no melted dark chocolate taste, too bitter. If you take the new Chatel salad, be careful there are nuts for people with allergies, I didnt specify. If you arrive late as we no longer have the days dish available and you dont offer anything in replacement. Average welcome waitress comes and doesnt clear anything.

Great cafe with simple but tasty food.

Came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with family and friends, the meal was great! The aperitif board ultimately couldnt be completely finished, as it is so generous (and the diversity of cold meats and cheeses is amazing, there was something for everyone). The burgers were delicious, cooked precisely and with a harmony of tastes. The waitress, super friendly, is a real plus.

On a market day, the center of a city becomes its belly. The restaurant Le Calvados is located in the heart of this belly and strives to satisfy that of its visitors. The food is good, you can smell all the fresh goods sold nearby. The plates are well stocked and tasty, the presentation of the dishes demonstrates the attention paid to customers; example, the chosen dessert (lemon tart) delicious with a good Breton puck and a cream with a real lemon flavor, meringues, red fruits and coulis is much superior to what we unfortunately find too often elsewhere: a tart too sweet, bland, sticky and plain; the prices remain low considering the quality, the same for the drinks menu. The boss is affable and takes care to ensure that everything goes well for efficient service. All this in a welcoming, even family atmosphere given the number of regulars who come to lunch there. Dont hesitate to come and sit down for a good meal.

I wanted to take my mother to Dieppe to eat mussels, a 5-hour drive there and back. We order the aperitif and 5 minutes later the dish arrives. Result mold and fries cold time to drink the aperitif. My mother didnt even eat half while I asked to reheat them because they were inedible when cold. Result dry mussels in addition to not being great. I have ordered chorizo mussels several times in restaurants but never had a kind of tomato puree with a vague taste of chorizo. Barely an apology when it comes time to check out. In short it ruined the day and Im not the type to rate badly

This is the restaurant in Dieppe to go to, they are full all the time! the poultry with Normandy sauce is very good, the fish too. my favorite, gourmet coffee, its the only one I know whose name is well deserved! the photo is enough in itself. Dont expect warm service, there are people so the waiters are busy but you can go there, its very good at a price which is no more expensive than elsewhere.

We were looking for a restaurant for lunch during the herring festival, we decided to enter this establishment, which at first glance was classic. The boss quickly found a place for us and the waiter took our order. The menu, relatively simple and complete, offers current prices with different quantity sizes (normal or XL especially for burgers). The burgers, as indicated, are made with homemade bread just like the local andouillette. The quantities are sufficient in normal format. Taste-wise, the dishes are good and well presented. The staff is numerous, welcoming and available, even if we waited a little for the aperitif. The establishment is clean and well maintained with a regular clientele. Small personal mention, I would have liked to have a local apple tarte tatin In short, a good surprise where we will return without problem.
