Le Garden in Dieppe

I do not recommend! We had reserved the day before for a table of 5 people for 8:45 p.m., no problem, I was told! Arriving there, we were told given the time and that they waited that hour without customers, there will be no starters and desserts..... We will have to move on to the main course directly.... We still managed to get entries. Then arrived at the dish, a mountain burger for 21 with a mini potato pancake and a mini square of cheese... Even smaller than a square of raclette cheese.... When I talk about this people tell me answers: we tested with more pancakes and more cheese but it was too heavy, people couldnt finish it..... On the other hand, leave it at 21 for that, no worries. The cream mussels... Plain mussels with spoons of cream placed on them at the end of cooking to serve... The cream mussels are cooked IN the cream.... Fish ans chip.... Breaded fish that you buy for 4 in the supermarket.... Still frozen.... Too bad we cant post photos to prove what were saying... Obviously no commercial gesture!

The chef cooked a tailor-made dish for my daughter because I wanted her to have a dish suitable for her age. The service was also really warm and attentive. Crab is served cold. Management walks around chaotically and is not helpful. Entrecote is the thinnest thing you get at a kabab shop. you notice that the love for the food is hard to find and that the service does not feel like giving a smile. not recommended.

We had dinner here because the restaurant was highly rated and we left disappointed. Already the decor has neither head nor tail, from the plastic plants to the teddy bear, the chairs covered in fabric, to the fake fireplace. The cuisine is not better, the mussels with cream served are: mussels with crème fraîche placed on them at the time of service. Lots of frozen products for starters and desserts. Nothing to say about the service, either good or bad.

Very good address in Dieppe! Unbeatable value for money! Go there with your eyes closed! The chef will delight you and the waiters are helpful, spacious toilets and impeccably clean, If you are friendly they can even offer you a little something!

The Garden is a simply exceptional restaurant. Why: lovely, extremely friendly and super professional team (our ideal waitress). Everything is perfectly cooked: fresh fish, pearly cooking that comes out of the sea, perfect seasonings (rare!), and we tasted the best dessert in all our restaurants (Ramsay, Robuchon, Ducasse, etc.): a peach cheesecake, incredibly light, full of flavors and balance, precise and perfect. We come here to taste excellent mussels. The cream mussels are delicious. There really is cream, placed on the molds. The crispy fries are very good. The pavlova is homemade. It is like the rest, delicious.

Very nice place a stones throw from the port of Dieppe: cozy and warm atmosphere. Many types of mussels (marinière, cream, roquefort, dieppoise). The non-alcoholic cocktails are very good, we tasted the Strawberry-Mint and the Bora Bora. Burgers, meats and fish also on the menu. Lots of appetizing starters: garlic shrimp, plate of snails. And things to share: roast camembert, boards... youre bound to find what youre looking for there! For dessert we had a Nutella crepe and a cup of Smarties ice cream: also very good. Visiting our sons German correspondent, the latter wanted mussels. First restaurant: we only serve it from May onwards . Second restaurant: we only have one table outside . We therefore arrive at the garden a little randomly and by default. But one thing is certain: the next time we pass through Dieppe, it will be straight to the garden and not at all by chance! Indeed, the setting is nice and the welcome warm. The owner has a sense of humor, as does the waitress who took care of us and the dishes are very well prepared. The Dieppoise mussels were perfect according to my wife and son. For my part I had a burger and it was also excellent. The brioche bread had a little extra taste that went perfectly with the rest, I enjoyed it. The gourmet coffee was also pure joy. Really a very good surprise because generally I am always wary of the restaurants on this street because some are real tourist traps. But not all. And this one made a very good impression on us, as you will have understood.

The waitress was very unpleasant, supposedly reservations were not made but upon arriving 2 tables were reserved, coming with an elderly person, no solution found. In addition, access to toilets is not regulated for people with disabilities and for the elderly.

Hello from the weekend in Dieppe as a family, we all left for the restaurant, the welcome was good, the food was frankly not great, the mussels were not cleaned, the Roquefort sauce was transparent, the basket of fries were placed directly on the table which between us was not cleaned, the fries were burnt finally everything to please here is my experience for you to judge but I will not go back

Good choice of dishes, very good burgers and fish & chips. Super dieppoise mussels too, very meaty with a very good sauce. Very appreciable continuous service in the middle of July. We had been turned away from several restaurants before because it was 1:55 p.m.... Special mention to the staff who really take care! The Garden is one of our best memories of Dieppe!

Excellent service, price consistent with quality, we highly recommend. The only point of improvement: the hot dog bread could be of better quality, in order to add value to the rest of the products, even if it means increasing its price by 1-2 :)
