Le Régent in Dieppe

I rarely give 5 stars, but here, I can only give them. Impeccable and fast service, friendly welcome, attentive staff, good quality cuisine. Le Régent is one of the last flagship restaurants in the sector.

We stopped by with our cocker spaniel without reservation on November 1st for lunch service. We were extremely well received. We ate very well. The service was quick and pleasant. I recommend this establishment

Non-existent service, dirty table throughout the floor, forced to clear it yourself, long wait, we didnt even receive our pancakes after 45 minutes, forced to leave, no decoration, no effort. The boss should question himself or go see a psychologist.

The pancakes are so good

Those who accompanied me thought it was good, but I had a lot of trouble with the butchers cut, a real carne (the meat, not the butcher).

I ate at the Régent restaurant, it was delicious. Nothing to say, the copious plate, the kindness, the politeness, the cleanliness, nothing to say. The only thing I could say if I had to advise people I would recommend this restaurant doesnt change anything.

We stopped for lunch here on the way back from the beach at 5 without a reservation. We were very well received. Adorable waitress, the dishes were good and they accommodated the vegetarians among us. And the little pancake that comes out of the billig for dessert was very good.

Super nice staff, but a very long wait for the dish. They favor regulars and we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the dish even though the people had arrived well after us and served before. But we ate very well. I still recommend it.

Staff not great, table not washed... drops cutlery and sets the table with it (without washing it), criticizes customers at the bar. We ask for a menu, no drinks menu, I say I dont like a beer then I hear people criticize me at the bar.

We arrived around half past one and each ordered a salad and a bottle of wine and water. After a while the wine came without glasses and without words. Only later did we ask again for glasses. They were then brought with the food over twenty minutes later. The water came from the next table and the waiter put it on the edge with salt and pepper. The table next door had eaten for a long time and had now left, and we got the rest of the bread from there. Two stars because the salad was tasty and fresh. However, the Caesar salad with chicken nuggets was disappointing. My salad with baked Camembert in a dough basket was very tasty. When paying inside, the waiter was suddenly very friendly. Although the ambience outside is nice, I wouldnt go there again. French friendliness is different.

A long and completely overwhelmed service. 40 minutes to bring us the menu, 35 minutes to take our order and almost 40 minutes to bring us the first dish. In the meantime, tables that arrived well after us were served before us... The dishes are OK but nothing more. The service is deplorable. The waiter claims its the lack of staff. Why not, but in this case we dont add 40 outdoor tables. We only put what we are able to serve. Clearly, the 3 servers were disorganized and kept making mistakes.

Deplorable welcome, more than 20 minutes to start taking the order (the waiter interrupted the order taking to seat people and only came back 15 minutes later). 40 minutes of waiting to not even see the dish arrive, we preferred to leave when we announced that the kitchen still had 15 minutes on our plates. Hygiene to also check, covered with trace and glass with midges inside. I wouldnt set foot again, thats for sure.
