The food is nice, authentic, lamb stew is well tender. With every plate around $20. Although as referred by friends, I was expecting a little less expensive. But what can I say about inflation nowadays. The owner looks like a sincere person. Might visit again.
I went here for a retirement dinner with a large group of people. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. We ordered multiple appetizers to share amongst the table and not only were they beautifully presented but they tasted amazing. Everyone agreed and the main meals were also fantastic. The food was extremely fresh and it seems to be a husband and wife run for restaurant. It's also bring your own wine. I will be by again!
We've been regulars at Aryana for over 6 years, and it has consistently been a wonderful dining experience. The food tastes great and is reasonably priced, making it a fantastic choice for anyone who loves quality cuisine. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel as though you're visiting their home rather than a restaurant. This warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with the consistently tasty and high-quality food, keeps us coming back time and time again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Afghan food and a hospitable dining experience!
Came here for dinner and food was absolutely delicious!! Even as a vegetarian, I had a variety of options. The eggplant was to die for. 10/10 recommend!!!
Amazing, wonderful, super delicious, tasty food! The owners, father, and daughter, do a great job! The owner makes you feel fed by your mom and takes you back to your childhood! The meat is amazingly marinated and very tender On the desert side, I would suggest trying the rice pudding. However, it was a bit too sweet for me!
Everything on the menu is incredible! One of the most delicious and luxurious meals I've ever had in Montréal. So cozy with warm welcoming staff.
I’ve had this restaurant on my wish list for months and was so happy to finally go tonight. Everything was delicious, the portions were perfect. We left feeling satisfied and eager to come back to try more! Highlights were definitely the kadu bolani and the mix #2 (chicken, lamb and kofta).
I don't usually write reviews, but Aryana is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal! It is not expensive at all for really good sized portions - I have always left completely stuffed. The eggplant and Mantoo appetizers are to die for and I love the family atmosphere. In terms of service - my waiter was excellent, very friendly and attentive. If you're looking to try a new restaurant - I would highly recommend checking Aryana out!
Excellent food and service and its BYOB. The owners are so nice and accommodating.
Food was tasty but what we pay the price.food was very little we hardly divided in two persons 70$ we paid but not full stomach..l think they are they are very small heart people if that food men eat was not enough for 2 we are 2 women but we shear but our stomach was not full especially the amount we pay
If I am in great physical shape today despite my voracious appetite, it is entirely thanks to the discipline instilled in me by my father. My father is an inveterate athlete. His way of dealing with me has always been and continues to be: Are we going to play sports? » Todays menu for August 27: a tennis ball-pickleball session. However, this time exceptionally, he followed up the proposal with: After that, we ll go eat. Awesome ! But, there is a but he is quite capable of embarrassing me, the father. And, this time, out of excess pride: Come on, say a few words [to the owner] in Farsi. I wanted to walk out the door. I hate putting on a show, whether I know the language or not. Apart from this little hiccup, the dinner went wonderfully. Entering the room where soft Middle Eastern music was playing, I felt a little fear when I greeted the owner, who held and then looked away without returning the favor, but I was reassured when I I encountered the kindness of the owners smile. She is always happy to welcome customers after more than 14 years in this small business in this shopping center on the edge of the pitiful-looking Boulevard des Sources (hard to believe that architects designed THAT). Subsequently, both my father and I were delighted by the starters of mantoo ravioli (tender, tasty, with ground beef and topped with a fine spice sauce) and those called ashak with leek, elegantly presented in helices, once again with an interesting play of spices and very spicy! My fathers stomach having already reached its saturation threshold, he enjoyed less of the kabuli palow, four pieces of lamb (medium size) covered with a layer of rice with an oily texture. Not unpleasant at all, my goodness! The quality of the food contributed to the general good mood and this rare moment of face-to-face interaction. If I am the type to enjoy dishes without saying a word, my father seems to believe that entering into a relationship requires the use of words. If Jesus spoke in parables, he speaks in anecdotes. This thing happened to him when he was younger. A famous person asked him for such a matter. He saw this video and he thought this thing. I listen and I listen, I joke, we laugh, we have fun. Everything is fine, except for his headache and his upset stomach (both before the meal). I finish with dessert, a simple, but no less good, rice pudding. I finish, we talk a little, we go to the checkout, my father embarrasses me, we go out, but not without saying goodbye . Because, yes, I could come back. It was a very nice experience with generous portions, at $25-30 per person. Vegetarian options: Yes, vegetarians have no shortage of choices. Parking: Large enough parking lot for the shopping center. Kid-friendliness: I didnt see a childrens high chair, but the place can accommodate families for a cordial meal. Wheelchair accessibility: It would take a little help to open and get through both doors.
We go here regularly , but last time was with a group of 23 people ! Food always outstanding the appetizers are soooo good ! The owners are just the sweetest people and always there to help and recommend ! Always a pleasure to eat here !
Did take out, very authentic and delicious.
Tasty cuisine, quality products, impeccable service and reasonable prices. This restaurant is a hidden treasure. Tasty food, quality products, impeccable service and reasonable prices. This restaurant is a hidden treasure. Vegetarian options: Kadu palow butternut squash stew is a delicious option.
Must-try hidden gem in the West Island! This family-owned restaurant is one of my favourite places to eat
Food was okay. Definitely not the traditional afghani restaurants I m used to. Tasted more Pakistani to me
Been getting their kabuli palao for years now! Deliciously consistent and authentic! Love supporting this lovely local family run business.
I had the chicken, lamb and beef plate. Absolutely amazing flavors!! Thanks so much! Keep up the good cooking
My husband invited me to this restaurant through a good acquaintance of his. While searching it on Google I saw some nice comments. And what I saw confirmed my position. The welcome was very warm and the lady in charge was great, although the decoration and atmosphere werent really what we were looking for. I suggest revisiting just a little bit. Otherwise the rest is great. Good price and delicious. I recommend Mantoo and also the soup, the mixed dish which is a specialty of the chef. I enjoyed an excellent hot sauce. I had never eaten Afghan food before and this beautiful feeling will remain forever. I will definitely return. I recommend it to you.
I have never tried afghan food and this place did not disappoint! We recommend the Mantoo, the Ashak and Eggplant. The owner Shak took such great care of us and made our experience truly delightful!
Probably the best food I ve ever eaten. Has a mix of salty and sweet too. Need to try the lamb stew, it was delicious! I wanted to take photos, but I didn t realize I just ate everything too quickly! It was so good
I love this place. The owners are so friendly and the food is delicious and fresh. I really love the beef sambosa. Definitely recommend!
I ve been to Aryana restaurant a couple of times, but last night was beyond fantastic! I took a group of eight friends along with me to enjoy this amazing food prepared with love & perfection in a family style bring your own wine treasure in DDO. What more can I say...the food was absolutely delicious!
Aryana used to be in my top 3 favorite restaurants. The food was always amazing, good portions and good price. Lately, they have been very cheap with portions, the salad comes with 2 cucumbers and 1 tomato, the meal used to come with yogurt but now they charge 2$ , the bolani is now 8$ for two pieces and they barely stuff it with potatoes, the eggplant portion is very small for 12$.and the chicken and lamb cubes seem to get smaller and smaller.
first time trying Afghani food and loved what I tried here
Although the food is delicious, the woman who works there is SUPER RUDE. She s extremely disrespectful and one of the main reasons I ve decide to stop eating here. Also they have decreased their portions so many times and their prices are WHACK. I paid 80$ for a tiny portion of food and had to cook a meal at home after ordering because everyone was left starving. No other restaurant in the West Island is charging ridiculous prices for crumby portions and rude behavior. No thanks
Wow what an amazing dinner! This is going to my favourites list! I went with a group of friends and we shared our appetizers, we all loved every one. Our meals were delicious with a beautiful presentation! Friendly service, a bring your own wine which is a bonus. Great prices. Small and intimate, perfect for people who want a quieter low key atmosphere.
The waitress is kind and patient. Like being invited to someones home. We tried most of the appetizers and they were all delicious. I had the butter nut squash stew, yummy. The dessert was good too Food
I would give 0 stars this place does not deserve even 1 star, I ordered on Uber the food looked good , I order the kabuli and the lamb qurma, the price this place charges u can get double the food from somewhere else . When my food arrived its like feeding a child . I was left hungry and so was my friend , the lamb qurma was so salty we had to spit it out so that was a waste. Dont even try to complain to the owners specially the wife she will snap on you.
Peaceful & cozy atmosphere with music in the background. Food was tasty Also, We received a warm welcome. Thank you, we definitely recommend this place
Vegetarian options: Amazing veggie options. There are many starters and I always choose the same main dish which is the red kidney bean dish. Just crazy good. The owners are so friendly. It s like having dinner at a family home.
5 stars plus!! The #2 and #3 plates were amazing! The grilled meats were very juicy. Cooked perfectly!! Service was pleasant and very friendly! Well be back!! Food : 5/5
The food was amazing! So tasty. The family that runs this are so sweet. Would definitely recommend going here if you are looking to support a local family owned business or just looking for something new to try out.
Delicious
Came for dinner and the food and service were exceptional. Tried several dishes that were delicious and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back!
Tasty food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Everything we tried was delicious, but my favourite was the kidney bean stew. Delighted to have discovered this place!
Fantastic meal. Can t wait to go back.
Delicious homemade authentic Afghani Halal food . Cozy and quiet place. There are many good choices on the menu. Service is great. You feel like sitting on a dinner table at home. Rececommend
Mantoo was delicious. Lamb quorma and spinach lamb were very small portions for the price. Bandunjan burani was alright. Kabuli palow was delicious but very little meat as well, just a lot of rice. Got the rice pudding instead of the milk pudding but was thankfully refunded. The rice pudding was typical. Gave it an extra star since its byow.
Excellent restaurant, delicious meals, good portions and warm, impeccable service. I recommend to everyone! We will definitely return.
Always excellent fare. Highly recommended. Bonus it s BYOB
Delicious food, great service, and bring your own wine...what more can you ask for? :) Go try it!
Terrible food
Have been many times but not since the pandemic. Had takeout and remembered why I love this place so much. Best food, best service.
Incredible food! It was my first time trying Afghan food but everything was very tasteful and delicious! It tastes like homecooked food :) This place is a true gem in the West Island!
What an incredible meal! Everything was so good! The seasoning was exquisite! We were 4 adults and shared the following: Appetizers spinach bolani and the butternut squash bolani ( the butternut was sweet and delicious!) Mantoo we re interesting dumplings. The main dishes were the mixed platter Lamb, Chapli and chicken, Kabuli Palow, Murgh Palow and for an incredible finale the Firnee milk pudding. Super friendly and inviting, staff makes you feel like an honoured guest (who remember you from three years ago! ) Thank you Shaq and talented chefs!
Very delicious food with an authentic, homemade, feel to it. The lamb, the beef cooked so well they practically melt in the mouth. Very friendly staff too on the phone or in person. Will go again for sure.
Homely restaurant with great service. Desserts are amazing!! Portion size could be bigger.
Delicious. The service is excellent.
We came to Montreal from Ottawa and found this place on Google. We found the restaurant had decent decor but we only got take out. I ordered the Mix#2 and as soon as I picked up it felt off it was so light. Portions were really small especially for $21. Very disappointed.
Great food. Exquisite flavours. Impeccable service. Very reasonable prices. Whats not to like?
Great food, lovely family business. We always love our experience at this restaurant!
Exceptional!!! Honestly one of the best restaurants I have eaten in and the quality of the food is excellent and tasty I recommend to everyone
The food is beyond delicious, cooked fresh and served hot. I would highly recommend to try at least once. I had the Kabuli pilao with raisins and carrots with lamb kabab. Truly mouth watering. Im giving it 4 starts because it s very expensive for what it is. After my excellent first experience with them, I decided to call them for a catering for 30 people. I got a quote of $300 for JUST the rice with carrots and raisins. It comes up to $10/person for the rice only. I ended up hiring someone else for the catering.
Wonderful food, loved the afghan palao and Chaplin kabab. Great service
Delicious Afghan food. I ordered a variety of entrees, including the kabuli palow, kofta kebab, chapli kebab, and a few combos. I highly recommend the combo #3, which gives a beef chapli kebab, boneless chicken pieces, and boneless lamb pieces. Everything was seasoned to perfection and flavorful. The takeout service was quick and the service was very friendly! The dine in option seemed appealing as well!
A real hidden treasure! The mantoos (Afghan dumplings), fragrant rice and all the meats we ordered were an explosion of flavors in the mouth. In addition, we loved the friendliness of the place and the efficiency of the service. Thank you so much :)
We just had an fantastic meal at Aryanna in DDO. It was our first visit and definitely not the last one. Aryanna will be on our favourites list that s for sure. The quality and taste of food were excellent, the service warm and very attentive and the whole experience was very memorable. You have to eat here it s amazing!
The prices are wayyyyy to high for the quantity of food served very very very deceiving because the menu mentioned three types of brochette s, we got two small ones with a mix of meat but like??? I usually dont eat a lot, but Im sorry the portions were for kids and the quality wasnt authentic.
Super nice people and great food. Parking: No issues
Hadn t been to Aryana in a while but I have to get back soon. Take out only due to COVID but the food is still delicious and so aromatic. And the family working there is so nice. All I can say is wow and will be back soon
Hands down the best take out Ive had since lockdown . You can tell their meat is slow cooked and everything is made with love Their food tastes like home So so so yummy
I come here from time to time with my family and every time is as amazing as the last! The staff are extremely friendly and charismatic individuals who are the right people to talk to when youre awaiting your food. Food is always suuuuper delicious, very worth it for what you get. See you tonight!
Absolutely the best tasting food in the West Island. We have been enjoying Aryana for many years now. Delicious, flavourful dishes, big portions, great value and owners are kind and the service is great. Our family s favourite restaurant in Montreal.
I have been going to Aryanas for over 7 years; I crave their food and their love. They are some of the best humans I have ever had the pleasure to meet and hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten. I drive from NDG to go to this specific restaurant, thats how good they are. I am convinced that their food is so incredible because of the love they put into it. I am aghast at some of the reviews that were left here. So much so, that after 7 years I had to leave my own review! I know that they are very well known for their meat, but let me tell you what this vegetarian dreams of almost daily: their eggplant (friends fight over the last piece, now we each get our own plates!) Their pumpkin dish(seriously, who knew pumpkin could be so delicous?!) Their sambosas; crunchy on the outside , soft filling on the inside...spells YUM, their spinach , their rice and last but definitely not least THEIR BOLANIS. Shhh ..dont tell anyone but it is the real reason I travel across the city! Get them all (3 kinds) and do not share lol you truly wont want to. This is a family run business. They are fair priced and they are a bring your own wine restaurant! Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Look at the menu yourself. Over the years I have met the entire family: mom and dad hustle in the kitchen and will come out to say hello to their clients while their kids ( who are adults) serve/wait/bus. They wouldnt know how to be rude if it hit them in the face. So, for those who are hell bent on trying to ruin a critically acclaimed family run restaurant (google all of the food critics who have rated this restaurant and you will see for yourself), all of their regular patrons see you. Jealousy is not a good look and karma will get you , she always does. If you havent tried Aryanas yet, you cant go wrong with what I listed above..and then you will be like me; travelling across Montréal for their food/love. Bon Appétit!
Great tasting healthy food! Couldnt ask for more, and it always comes with amazing customer service :)
The food is way too over priced. My kabuli plate had 2 small pieace of meat and the meat was not fresh at all. Also I dont understand why put some much salt i had to take a sip of water after every bite. And when u try to tell the owners it was too salty they say go somewhere else. I been to other afghan restaurents the portions are alot bigger and better price. They steal your money so disguesting ppl work hard for their money but them they steal
Amazing restaurant, super friendly and the owner and cook is husband and wife. Afgan food is a cross between Indian and Lebonese. Everything is amazing!!
Food is amazing, great service from owners. Highly recommend to everyone!
Food was good and the portions are ok for the price.
So good! Try all the entrées.
Delicious and warm
Not only the Manto, Qabli rice and lamb/chicken kebab were AMAZING.. Unbelievably delicious.
This place is horrible. I went there with my mom and it was about 230 pm right when we sit down the waiter came and told us were closing at 4 and kicked us out of the restaurent. And so i took food to go the karma plate was so salty we had to throw it. I was disguested by the service attitude . U can get so much better afghan food at kybur pass
Food is good and service is excellent....
Awesome food and very friendly staff ! Keep up the good work
Always the best food and service at reasonable prices!
A fabulous place to go to. New place is opening in Ile Perrot which is going to be great. The staff are fabulous and really great to talk to. It is not often that the staff at the restaurant are super talkative and really nice. The food was absolutely fantastic. A really great mix of spices and flavours made for an excellent night of dining.
I came to this place Almost over a year ago the food was okay...but what upset me the most was the lady s attitude towards my daughter. At the time my daughter was around three At that time and the lady kept on getting paranoid about everything my daughter touched. As soon as we sat down at our table my daughter touched the glass because she wanted water and she s like be careful you will break that in a rude tone...at one point I Remember her saying you guys should leave and I told my husband did you hear what you said and right away she changed her words and said I did not say that. After that and her attitude we never went back.
Very kind service and delicious food! I highly recommend you the Sabzi polow
Always well received, excellent food on each visit
Checked this place out as 1 of the top 10 restaurant ts in the West Island according to a local newspaper. Definitely one of my favorites. Friendly family run restaurant with freshly prepared flavourful meals. Definitely worth the visit. Besides traditional Afghan food, they have the best chicken noodle soup that you have ever tried. The service is very friendly and attentive.
Best afghans in mtl!!
A true hidden gem in the West Island! Incredibly delicious food, not to mention the owners are super nice!
Service and food are fabulous!
Small portion, over priced! Very bad customer service, and the workers are very rude. I have been to many Afghani restaurant, they usually offer at this price: big portions, salad, bread and soup. But this restaurant portion is like a kids meal portion with nothing included.
A delightful epicurean experience in a family-run restaurant where the food is spectacular and the service is beyond expectations.
Excellent restaurant, the rice is divine and the service impeccable. We came with an Afghan colleague and he told us it was very authentic. I recommend!! My first experience of Afghan food and I loved it.
This resto tops everything in terms of food. Quality home cooked food that is absolutely delicious!! We took some to go as there was a snow storm outside and the owners wanted to leave. They were gracious to fulfill our order before heading out! I am deducting one star however because its a tad bit expensive for what you get. The portion of the curry I received was extremely small for the price and left me feeling hungry. Mind you, we paid close to $65 for 2 people. There was a very unequal balance of rice to the curry. Unfortunately I felt a bit ripped off, but maybe its a one off thing. Youll see in the images the qabuli qorma red sauce in the container with the rice, that is $15,50. My advice to the owners would be to be more generous with the food. And also, if they write a cookbook, I will definitely buy it!
Great afghani food.must try
Great food, friendly people. My only little disappointment is that the portions are small, would have enjoyed to have a little more meat in the plate.
Fantastic food and amazing service. Family owned restaurant and it showed in the quality. Highly recommend it.
Fantastic food and even better service at this wonderful little family-owned restaurant.
Excellent
hello to our friends at Aryana restaurant we haven t been for a long time We have missed you ! Hoping to come and enjoy as we always do...a delicious supper at Aryana....everything is always fresh and delicious ! from us, Best wishes to you for a wonderful and Happy New Year ! Hope to see you very soon Katherine , Frances Laure
They have the worst service ever. They say they close at 9 but will make you leave an hour before they close. I guess they run their own family business how they want. Customer service does not matter. Do not waste your time and money there. So much for a family business!!
I went to the resto to have a good time with my girl. We wanted the table for 3 since the resto was empty but the waiter was rude and said he can not help us so if we want we can leave. So we left......
Found a glass in my daughters plate of rice. Disgusted and disapointed. If this was Ontario, i would sue them and shut down their buissness!
Great BYOW restaurant. Good veg options as well. Extremely friendly service. Family owned.
Not bad, you get what you pay for, pretty tasty but nothing special.
The food was very good. Very well seasoned and delicious. The price was a bit high considering the amount of food you get. I would definitely return.
Not authentic taste. As an afghani, mantuu should have lentil on top. The pulao doesn t have the right seasoning either.
It is a nice cozy place, the food is fantastic, the host/owners are very friendly. The only thing to notice is the potion size is a little small
Authentic, family run and delicious.
Just amazing
Good as always been going there since 8 years Family business
Nice & friendly host, delicious food, reasonable price, I go there with my colleague, Lamb Kebab & their Special Polow waf perfect
Food was very basic compared to other restaurants. Our two plates were so flat that we were not full and it is more expensive than other Afghan restaurants in Montreal. Have to pay for bread, too. Got two of these plates and the bread, which cost around 53$ everything included but an unfilled stomach.
Love the food!
Some of the very best food I e and anywhere, of any variety. Their rice, however, is far and away the best rice I have ever tasted.
The staff was friendly, the food was prompt and delicious. I havent eaten anything I didnt like yet.
Amongst the best food Ive ever eaten in my entire life
I don t know much about afghani food but every time I come here I feel like I m at someone s house having dinner and it s amazing. That lamb, carrot, raisin, grapes pilaf is spectacular. My mouth waters when I think about it. Go if you feel like trying something different and packed with flavor.
We just walked in at 9 10pm. The hours said they close at 10 pm. The owner told us theyre closed as soon as we walked in. When I pointed out the hours posted are otherwise he was quite rude stating he would not update his hours every long weekend. Fine classy attitude.
Frankly outstanding. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food... The food: delicate, exquisitely cooked and a treat in the mouth. Youve never had chicken breast this tender. Lamb this juicy. The basmati rice is perfectly cooked and the starters are fantastic, light and loaded with flavor. Bring your own wine, simple and clean interior, not pretentious but genuine. Aryana is a jewel.
Fantastic aramatic rice, the tenderest lamb chunks, savory yogurt sauces redolent with dill. Seriously though this place is fantastic. Its all good and the services is atomic.
Delicious food, quite face, friendly owners
A little hidden gem in the West Island. Family own and operated and they make you feel like you re part of the family. The food is amazing and the service is great. BYOW makes it the perfect place to have date night.
Decided to try this tiny restaurant after recommendations from a friend. Truly a family run restaurant with mother father and daughter in kitchen and two sons working the floor. We were served by son Sho who was such a friendly and polite young man who made spot on recommendations. Started with an appetizer of steamed dumplings stuffed with beautifully seasoned meat and drizzled with tomatoes sauce and a labneh type yogurt.
Very delicious
Food was very tasty nice easy going atmosphere
Small restaurant where youll greeted and served by the owner. The dishes were well prepared and very tasty, it only did not get 5 stars because I thought the meat portion on the dishes was lacking, only 3 small cubes of chicken and same for the lamb dish. The dumplings on pic were amazing.
Great food nice people
Very good mantee and of course beef and chicken platter, highly recommended for those craving for authentic Afghani cuisine.
Always a warm welcome and very tasty! I highly recommend!
amazing, anyone that sees this must go! Family business with bomb food. Best items on the menu: Eggplant, the potatoe pastries, everything that has lamb in it. Small hidden restaurant but everyone should give it a try!
Consistently delicious, this gem of a family run restaurant is authentic and full of flavour. Highly recommended!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Food was great and the service excellent! Loved every single bite of everything I ate! One of West Islands best kept little jewel! A must!
First time trying Afghani cuisine. Super good food! Family owned, friendly staff and beautifully placed dishes. Definitely recommend the Mantoo and Murgh Palow, my two favourites of the night. If you like lamb, you can also get the Quorma Palow.
A very nice discovery! The service is excellent and everything we tasted was tasty. You can bring your own wine and there is a nice selection of vegetarian dishes. Ill have to go back to try the other dishes on the menu :)
Home made style afghan restaurant. Highly recommend
I dont normally write reviews but I feel compelled to let everyone know how great this place is. Homey and warm atmosphere, excellent and personable service and delicious and well-presented food. My husband and I wanted to try a cuisine we had never had before for Valentines day and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back with the family. As far as complaints about price or portions, we could not take dessert we were so full. The price was proportionate for the quality and portion size. Highly recommend.
Excellent! Everything is excellent! We tried several different dishes and they were all delicious! The young man serving was very kind and available. We will definitely return!
Great food, one of the best small family owned restaurant in Montreal! Great service
It is truly quite an experience, and a memorable warm feeling, when you walk into an establishment after a few months and you are greeted with your first name. This is what walking into Aryana has been like for me over the years they have been in service. The family has strict guidelines for fine cuisine and they treat you like a guest when you visit them. I have tried everything on their menu and it always feels like a new adventure to me. I have grown a fondness for this type of cuisine and have been honored with quick and easy recipes that I can attempt on my own but it will never come close to what the Chef has to offer. It is affordable, delicious and leaves you wanting more! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a memorable culinary experience, at an affordable budget. Dont forget, you can bring your own wine!
great tasty food.
Great food; the pumpkin dish is consistently excellent.
DELICIOUS! Tasty, flavorful, home cooked traditional afghani food. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
Great people fantastic service. Bolani is excellent reminded me of those thin crust kabuls bolanis.
Excellent service and delicious food. Superb experience!
Great food! Awesome atmosphere!! Family run so you feel the love !
Love their delicious food especially the mantoo dumblings! And its byow!
portions are vary small comparing to other afghani restaurants. Bread wasnt fresh but heated. Expensive because of the small portions. Slow service. Food tastes good. Server was kind.Wondering why the owner never address the negative comments??? He should answer the concerns of customers.
Excellent service
Amazing, every time! The dogh is tasty and refreshing, salty, creamy, minty Herby deliciousness. Weve never ordered anything we didnt enjoy, but our favorites are the beef sambosas, kabuli palow and shish kebabs. Always great service, too. BYOW a huge plus. There are two hot sauces on each table, both excellent and different. Weve taken to calling the red sauce Wild Horses, we need to come up with a name for the green one! :) Cant recommend this place enough!
Absolutely loved our evening at Aryana. The food is very good as is a the very attentive and cheerful service. We will be back.
Really tasty food and great service!
The best afghan food in town, family run and very kind and humble people, love the place.
The nicest people great good
Food is always tasty. Served fresh. Consistent flavors. Super super nice service i feel like we are eating at a familys house! The family who runs and owns this place is very welcoming and always has a smile on their face. Brought my family, friends, colleagues here already and they all loved it! My fiancé and i visit this place quite often!
Best good and excellent customer service
Amazing food, great service.
very bad food if you have a small skills in kitchen even my son of 12 years old have better experience then this oldman chef food no test cause is badly coked you need to bring your own wine to forget your bad experiences in arayana restaurant desource salad is mad for rabbit and meat are mad for drunk peoples that they would not recognize what they eat owner speaks like hes in tittel when he should go back to kitchen classes try and youll understand what Ive been noticing dont forget to bring your own wine for the bad experiences
Great food, beautifully presented, and the owners are super friendly and attentive.
Amazing fresh and succulent food !
The food is very salty
Awesome and soft spoken staff. Amazing food. Best Mantoo Ive had so far
Good food!
Very small and cozy Afghan eatery. Home made food made fresh. Good meat and vegetarian choicrs. Bring your wine. Service reminiscent of going to ones grand mothers house. A hidden gem in a dull strip mall.
Store showed closing hour of 10pm and didnt let us in at 8:45 saying its closed
Well spiced and seasoned, the friendly and prompt service is a delight. Thanks!
Food is tasty however the portions are extremely small for the price charged. I do not think we will be back until portion sizes are similar to other restaurants
This place never seems to disappoint. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The best part is also its BYOW. The food is delicious and mouth watering. Love Afghani dishes :)
Small restaurant with great service and delicious fresh food. I love the dumplings, although everything Ive had on the menu is good.
Love this restaurant! Food is incredible!!
very good home style food
The service was excellent and the food was sooo delicious!
Great in every way! Delicious food and warm welcome.
Weve gone there on several occasions. We both loved the food! The service is perfect! and the atmosphere is cozy. i have no idea why anyone would dislike this restaurant. We will be back!
So genuine, kind and in a different league. My waiters name was Sho (I may not have spelt that correctly) and he was on point with recommendations, service and ability to make me feel like I was in his home. Try the lamb/potato/herb thing on the second page, and the pumpkin appetizer. Ill be going back 100%.
Visiting from Toronto. Amazing food. Authentic taste!
Family-owned restaurant with amazing service and even more delightful food!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Afghan experience. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. Will definitely come back if presented with an opportunity.

Best place for afghane food
An excellent taste experience. From the seasoning to the serving, cooking and presentation... everything was perfect!! This was our first visit (with the children), but it wont be the last.
Very good customer service
Excellent service; courteous, attentive and warm. Delicious food and more than reasonable prices. A little gem from the west of the island!
Kabuli Pulao is my favorite among their excellently cooked other dishes. Warm and welcoming hosts with delicious & authentic Afghan meals. Great place to dine in especially in winters to try chapal Kebab and other barbecue .
Delicious! I couldnt have been happier with my choice for dinner.
Tasty and delicious afghani food
A hidden gem amazing food authentic, simple and delecious. The service is warm and hospitable as if you are in their home!
Wow... What a welcome and service! The food is authentic, delicious and good value. We come back with our foodie friends.
Where to begin.... the food and service was extraordinary and blew my mind!!! I ordered the bundinjan (eggplant starter) and discovered a new found respect for eggplant. The texture, taste and presentation was simply perfect. Next was the kebab combo which has the most tender and well seasoned meat I could hope for. Every bite was magical. The quorma palow was comforting and flavourful! Our waiter and even the other customers were so friendly and made the experience such a special one. It was my first time going but definitely not my last... cant wait to go back!!!
