Just had the pleasure dining tonight at Kalapaw. We were a group of 3 and it was our first time dining there, so we really did not know what to expect. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Plus, the interior design is giving a luxury vibe, it was so pretty! But what really stood out was our server, Christian. He was attentive and friendly, considering the fact that he was the only server when we ate. As soon as we came inside, he guided us to our seats. He took our orders when we were ready and he ensured that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His genuine hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. When it comes to the food, it was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We ordered a lot tonight but I would recommend the Torta and Sinigang the most. Before we left, we asked the server if which province did the owner/chef come from, as it was our first time hearing the word "Kalapaw". Surprisingly, the chef/owner is also an Ilocano from Baguio. We felt proud because we are also Ilocano. They difinitely exceeded our expectations. So if you’re looking for a great food and excellent customer service, Kalapaw is a must-try! We'll surely come back!
Great food. First time to try phillipino food. Loved the plater for 2 and the fish.
A small and cozy restaurant. While its menu may not boast an extensive array of choices, the 2 persons combo is highly rated and celebrated for its eyes-appealing presentation. Many dishes have somewhat similar taste to the Chinese dishes, but even for those who are familiar with Chinese food is still worthy to go
Place is nice and clean, service was relatively fast. The food was delicious and full of flavor!🤩 We ordered the lumpiang shanghai rolls, the sizzling sisig and the chicken & veggies pancit bihon. The portions were very generous, more than enough for 2 people to share. Prices are fair for the quantity and flavor 👍🏻 This restaurant became one of my top favorites for filipino food and I absolutely recommend it! ☺️
This is a true hidden gem in Montreal! We went to this restaurant for the first time and we were deeply impressed by the incredible cuisine! The environment was great and the tables were spacious. We were warmly welcomed. One of the problems was that the wait time might be a little long. However, the food was well worth it. The taste was incredible and not a single item on the menu disappointed us! The desserts are a must-try. We hope to return to this restaurant in the future to discover the marvels of Filipino cuisine.
Great Filipino cuisine on the West Island. We had the Lumpiang Shanghai pork rolls to start, which were perfectly deep fried and tasty. We ordered two meals and shared the huge portions family-style. We shared the Sizzling Sisig (a hot sizzling plate of tender tasty chopped pork) and the Kare-Kare (fall-apart oxtail in a rich peanut sauce). We also devoured the must-have delicious garlic fried rice. For dessert, we had the huge Halo-Halo and a Calamansi Leche Flan. The menu is more than typical, and the portions are shareable and delicious. A definite must-try for foodies.
Extremely pleased with this restaurant! I came here on a Sunday afternoon with my family and everything we got was delicious! This place will now be in rotation of my favourite restaurants to go in Montreal. Anyone who’s never had any Filipino food before please give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed!!!
We made reservation for 6:30 on a Monday. We ordered a few dishes for 7 adults and 2 children to share and it was enough to be full without over eating. Out of all the dishes ordered, our least favorite one was the sizzling pork sisig and the chicken wings...it felt like there was lack of flavor, maybe it is an off day. My personal favorites were: the pork skewers; so flavorful and the grill taste was simply divine! Followed in order of preferences: the salmon seviche with taro chips, the spaghetti filipino sauce, the adobo pork, the lumpia, pancit noodles. For desserts, we ordered the 3 different kind of deep fried rolls and halo halo. My personal favorite was the ube, then peach mango, then the jackfruit plantain. The service was disappointing. We were served utentils for everyone, 4 napkins, and no plates. Even when the food came, we still didn't have plates to eat. We had to request/remind our original waiter. We had to remind them we didn't get our drink either. Water was filled only once (2 bottles filled all 9 glasses) so it was only as we finished our meal that we were broght more water. Another employee ended up helping our tables for the dessert round as we ordered almost all of them to share. This time around, this employee was on point. The service took a while, but we were in good company so it helped. I would recommend paying attention to the basics and do them well, and it would make this place a must place to eat for Filipino food. Thank you for a flavorful meal.
I just ordered Halo-halo today(oct. 27/24). I was so disappointed. There was nothing in there but a lot of ice..little red beans, hard plantain.. nata de coco..i was disappointed. Will never order again. If you want to survive the business, pls put your heart in every dish you make to have a good quality food.
Pancit and chicken were delicious. Lots to take home. Fast service, friendly, lots of easy parking.
Great food, felt fresh, flavorful!
Food is really good. I would recommend the Sea Bass sinigang, sisig, & palabok. Dessert can be better. Food : 4/5
We ordered Kare-Kare,Pinaputok na Isda; Halo-Halo, Kapampangan Halo-Halo, Garlic Rice. They are all good! It is not easy to find a good Filipino restaurant in Montreal . This is the one you have to try!
as a sinigang lover myself, i was a little sad trying it here. its fine, you win some you lose some. Food : 4/5
Scrumptious food with a good ambiance.
Been there several times as dine-in and also for takeout. Always satisfying!
Sunday Night, we called the place to ask if we can still dine in if it was very late. they agreed and accommodated us with open arms, a true and authentic trait of a Filipino- VERY HOSPITABLE. the sunday night staff was very patient and accommodating even they had to stay over time. The kids enjoyed their letchon kawali sinigang, it was a hit for everybody. This is our to go to Asian cuisine resto in the west island. Will always recommend this great restaurant to everyone. Parking: safe parking Kid-friendliness: the staff was still smiling even tho we stayed until 9:30. They never showed that we were rushed or given the laser eye look to make us uncomfortable. the servers were happy and so are we. thank you for the great service as always!
Great food, always get a bit of everything and platters to share, worth it. Deserts are lit: halo halos . Friends loved it too. Parking: Restaurant is in a plaza where lot of food place are, theres lot of spot Wheelchair accessibility: Its all floor level restaurants. I think there are ramps too
Received Chicken bbq via Uber eats which tasted as if it was reheated and looked very dry and not so fresh at all. You know it via the hardness of the chicken meat.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Staff will definitely help you in the best they can. Very delicious food. Thumbs up! Clean and good atmosphere. Parking: Free parking, a big space for it Kid-friendliness: Good Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
1st time in this Filipino cuisine restaurant. Having already tasted excellent dishes in others of the same genre, I admit that their dishes are excellent and tasty. The taste, the spices, the little sauces that accompany the dishes are authentic With an improved accent of their dishes. The presentation of the dishes is more careful at Kalapaw which gives them more to like what you see. And to awaken the desire to taste these dishes that catch your eye. The warm and family atmosphere that emerges there is a pleasure to see so that you feel welcome as a sign of respect. In terms of service, its the same as in other restaurants of the same type, a little slow, but well served. Your dish will be very fresh and hot. In addition, at Kalapaw there is a band that comes to play music there to enhance your evening, but I cannot say how many evenings there are bands playing there per week. Parking: Shopping Mall Parking Lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking for people in wheelchairs in the shopping center parking lot. And easy to access the restaurant by wheelchair.
I love to support Philippine cuisine but I must be honest here. The place is beautiful and very clean with lots of space. However, there was only one waitress and it took quite a bit of time to get served. (Its not her fault) However her personality was a little underwhelming as a Pinay and for a waitress. Didnt smile or acknowledge most of what we were saying to her. The shrimp was awful! It was severely over cooked and was soggy. The quality was very cheap and not acceptable. The lechon kawali was very dry. I would suggest they need to work on the freshness of their food and the quality. The BBQ chicken was excellent! The BBQ pork as well as the rice was pretty good. I would go back because I want them to succeed but I think they need to work on some things. Compared to Republika they have a long ways to go for taste, quality and freshness.
Worst Chicken Inasal dry hard and salty. But the rest is very good very tasty. Just not the chicken inasal.
Rsvp for 12 people on Saturday, May 25th for 4:30pm. Cons Service: Server was not the quickest. She never came to ask us: How was everything? Is there anything else I can get you? Do you need containers for leftovers? We always had to go to her or flag her down.. Asides from that, they played happy birthday music and sung the birthday song for the celebrant which was a very kind gesture! Thank you! Halo-Halo was bland and in my opinion, not your typical Halo-Halo. There wasnt much shaved ice. Pros The food was delicious and fresh. Not too salty to which was great because Filipinos tend to over season their dishes. We ordered the following dishes; - Kare-Kare: loved! Veggies were cooked to perfection (nice and crisp. Not over cooked). Oxtail was finger licking good. - Sisig: first time having it and loved it! Nice kick of spicyness. - Palabok: good and fresh but not my favorite - Eggroll: Piping hot, crispy and fresh! - Porc bbq: very good and flavorful. - Lechon: nice and crispy! - Fried calamari: delicous and not overcooked. - Steamed rice: Fresh batch! - Adobo rice: didnt get the chance to taste it. - A whole ube cheesecake: delectable! I couldnt stop eating it! It was so good! Overall, will definitely come back and order for catering! Thank you!
More than 1 hour and half of wait, not a single platter was served for just 3 plates... meanwhile, people were getting their order, even the ones that came after us.. what a joke. I asked how long until me and my girlfriend get our food and was told 5 more minutes after checking with the kitchen cooks but we only received it 40 minutes later. PURE JOKE. 0 STAR. I do not recommend.
Fantastic flavours, a must visit. Servers were all so sweet, making it an overall very pleasant experience! Vegetarian options: Great veggie options
Nice place and courteous staff but the crispy pork belly is hard as a rock, impossible to bite into it The squid is good :)
Wait time: 2 hours. Zero stars. This is the longest I have ever had to wait for my food in a restaurant. They focus more on takeouts, completely ignoring the customers inside. Main course: 2 stars. We were served spoiled chicken inasal, the worst chicken I ve ever had. Another record. The kare-kare was good on the first bite but became unappetizing by the end just way too much fat. Dessert: 3 stars. The halo-halo tasted so ordinary for the price. Meh. Won t be back for sure.
The atmosphere was very clean, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious. The dessert was especially great.
Food was amazing. the wait time for food was a bit long but worth it for the food.
The lumpia were cold inside. Not fresh. And some of our dishes were lacking flavor. The dishes also had too much cooking oil
Food is ok but not surprised.
For me, Its way too expensive for a regular size pusit inihaw $17 good for one person (about 4 inches) with no special seasoning.. my daughter ordered chicken inasal and it was not that good.. theres no rice or potatoes included, we need to pay another $9 for just the rice good for two...
Dine in | Dinner I have had a way different experience at the restaurant now. Food is not authentic at all anymore as menu has changed. We ordered 3 dishes and a starter. 3 out of the 4 dishes were absolutlely horrible to a point of having one bite and then returning the food. We got still a full bill and when questioning why I was rudely spoken to by the female owner and then told they have a cost to there food. I said I understand this but food that is not edible should not be charged. She basically took off tax and walked away in anger. If I could give a zero star I would. Only positive waiter JR incredible. You just lost our business. Good luck
The food was excellent! We had the Kamayan (dish to share for 2). The fried pork was a little less good, but everything else was great. The service left a little to be desired, the waiter only came twice; to carry the dishes and the bill.
Great tasting Philipino cuisine at an affordable price and friendly staff.
Decided to try Kalapaw and it was 40% salty. We got several dishes as it s our first time to visit! We ordered the chicken inasal but it was disappointing. It was hard and salty, good thing it came with a vegetable salad to help with the saltiness. We also ordered sisig but it turned out salty, too! The kare kare, lechon kawali, calamares, sinigang, garlic rice were good tho! Overall, I recommend you to visit and try! :)
Great restaurant and delicious food!
My family and I stayed at Marriot Bonvoy Residence Inn where we met Angel. She recommended Kalapaw Filipino Cuisine. We almost did not go there because of an impending snow storm. But we still went. We did not regret it. They were very friendly people. Great food. Great service. We got take out. Got back to our hotel, had dinner. Then the snow storm fell. Tried their kamayan platter, kare kare, palabok and lechon. Fantastic!
I loved it, the food is delicious and the service is very good, I will return.
Lovely gem of a place. Surprisingly tasty vegetarian options!!
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, warm service. You cant go wrong here. We will definitely be returning! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options also!
Awesome ones
Superb board to share, superb grill taste, Parking: Easy to park
Food was very good in general. The palabok, pork Barbeque skewers, atsara and kinilaw were great.I was a bit disappointed with the sisig. Inasal was ok. All the desserts on point. Everything else were tasty. The atmosphere was nice except for the smoke from kitchen always coming out; ventilation is not good. My clothes smelled like smoke after the meal. Chairs were comfortable. The service was good except that they don t provide service spoons; it is annoying to ask each time. They should provide Serving spoons automatically for each large sharing dish. Parking was great, spacious and free. Vegetarian options: There are seafood and vegetable options. The pakbet is a fave vegetable dish. Kinilaw and vegetable lumpia are excellent vegetarian appetizers. Dietary restrictions: Most food are gluten free as there are mostly rice, meat, seafood and vegetable choices. Even desserts are celiac friendly, specially the halo halo and pandan . Perfect for my husband who is gluten intolerant Parking: Plenty of parking space and it s free Kid-friendliness: Suitable for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious for wheelchairs
Beautiful place. The ambiance is great.
I love the food there
Nice and polite. Food was very tasty.
Food was AMAZING here!!! A must try!
Very good food service was good we re gonna definitely come back!
Kalapaw is a gem of a restaurant that offers authentic and delicious Filipino cuisine in a cozy and elegant setting. The service is friendly and attentive, and the portions are generous and perfect for sharing. I highly recommend the Bonifacio feast, which includes a variety of meats, vegetables, and rice, as well as the Halo Halo, a refreshing and colorful dessert. Kalapaw is a must-try for anyone who loves Filipino food or wants to try something new and exciting.
This was my first time trying Filipino cuisine, and I was delighted. The prices are reasonable, the serving size was good. I had a main meal along with a dessert, which were both delicious. One thing I could mention is that some people may find the food a bit salty (maybe it was just the meal I chose), but I like salty food. I guess one could ask to not have it as salty, but I really enjoyed it as it was. I also had some sort of fried banana dessert which also came with some ice cream, which was so good as well.
Nice place, clean, nice people, we love it
We went for lunch to Kalapaw, it was good, time to serve the food was ok. And the price ok. The size of the plates was average, not extremely big. Pork Adobo was very delicious, noodles Palabok was good however I will not ordered again. The third plate, Lechón Kawali had a lot of meat, it was really good.
the rice had no taste and the meat was under-cooked . very disappointed as this is not the usual filipino cooking were used to
We waited over 30 mins and the food was not cooked properly and had no flavoring. Too bad we didnt act on the fact that while most of the other restaurants in the area were very busy with clients, theirs was mostly empty
Waiter and waitress are also busboys. They will serve you your plate after they clean the other table. So what ever germ or bacteria they caught from is now on your plate. Waiter are also rude. I have my experience with one of the waiter and tell him that I brought more costumer here to eat and he replied oh so you asking for discount? Im like whoah ! I got money to pay for my food and i dont ask for discount. I brought more costumer for your business not for my benefit but yours. He apologized but didn t come back eversince.
Food is amazing good!
Amazing flavours Vegetarian options: Delicious rolls
Yummy Yummy and really good service!
Big, clean, and the staff are very accommodating. Food is great too!
Celebrated my boys birthday party in 2022 (all you can eat from a choice of 3 menus) and ordered out on occasions. Food never fails, always so delicious especially their bbq skewers yumm!!!
We just stopped here for a quick bite on our way out of Montreal - but we were surprised to find a taste of home that was delicious, delightful and filling. The service was kind and great. It s a shame that we live an hour from here, we would come again (and again!) if we could.
Nice eating area and friendly staff. And the food was really good to top it off! Loved the Lexhong Kawali
Food is delicious. I would recommend Sea Bass soup and a platter.
i went into this restaurant not wanting to eat anything but ended up eating a lot. best sizzling dish i ever had. ordered shrimp sizzlers, no words to describe the quality and taste of it. We also ordered spring rolls, nothing like i have ever tasted. very tasty.
Bland and no so authentic way of preparing it and the seasoninh was off. it was just ok.
My husband and I ordered the vegetable spring rolls (Lumpiang gulay) and Pancit. It was delicious and we look forward to next time!
Impressed! Food was super tasty, portions were big enough to share. We ordered a meat platter, combo seafood appetizer, sisig and sinigang! The sisig was a miss for me but the rest *chefs kiss* . I will definitely be going back to try the rest of their menu.
General review, A must Yes go there 100% Amazing food and one of the best places for filipino dishes served in a very professional way Even though it takes a while for food, its such a reward when it comes because its so filling and delicious Everything about the place is great. I recommend As for my rating, its a 9.4/10 I love this place
Serving black sisig burnt but cold shrimp
First time eating filipino food so I have no base to compare it too. To me, it was decently good. The dishes portions were fair for the price. TMI, i threw up at 2am that night but it was probably because the pork was too fatty and the food had too much oil. So beware if your stomach is sensitive to those
Nice dinning area, but the food wasnt really the best. Personally, I only enjoyed their skewers. Vegetarian options: Not many, but there were some.
its really good food
Good food choices, reasonable prices, simple interior. I like the large space to move around, easy parking
Best Filipino food I had in Montreal, will definitely come back and recommend to others. We had a mixed plate (seafood feast) with grilled chicken, smoked salmon, shrimp and salad etc. Great portion shared by 2 people.
DELICIOUS!!!!!! I will come back
Tried this during the city wide power failure the pork skewers combo are amazing!!!
Great time with good friends. Food was excellent. We ordered a bunch of starters and shared.
Such a hidden gem! Love this place, great food in a cute place and the price is very reasonable! Highly recommend
Really tasty! Excellent meal and wow dessert.

Very good little restaurant, reasonable price. Just a little slow but very nice service.
We came to Kalapaw to order take-out, but the owner offered us to bring our dog inside so we can enjoy the food in the comfort of their restaurant!!! From this moment, I already knew the experience was going to be great. We ordered pancit palabok and my mum enjoyed it to the last bite! I also ordered halo-halo and it tasted like summer in my mouth! The authentic taste of the foods brings such good memories! The waiter was kind and quick to serve. We appreciate the hospitality of the owner and the staff. The restaurant was elegant and clean. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine taste of Filipino cuisine Would definitely come back again!!!
Food was tasty, looks very clean and nice. Only problem i had which i found odd was that if you want to take out your leftovers, they asked for 1$ to get a container. That s pathetic and quite shameful
If you want to see Coco come and visit Kalapaw teusday to Friday and Sunday.
We ordered a mixed platter because we were craving for a boodle fight and the food is just okay. Not recommended to eat boodle fight , but I guess their other dish looks pretty good. Additionally, have asked for a bagoong/alamang and they served the one that is not cooked and its very salty, there s more room for improvement. The ambience looks pretty decent. The mixed platter was served with chicken inasal(needs more seasoning/taste), salmon ceviche, salad, chicken wings(taste good), shrimps, and rice. Suggestion: hope they add more fruits (mango/watermelon), side(tomatoes), make the chicken inasal more tastier, instead of chicken wings it would be best to switch it to lechon kawali and maybe add some cooked alamang .
Good service but too much sauce on food and was not crazy about the taste.
Best Philippine restaurant Food : 5/5
Very tasty and absolutely delicious! I took the salmon ceviche, which js my favorite. Very fresh and zesty. The pork belly is very juicy and the pork skewers are cooked to perfection. Will return for sure. Food
The food is delicious. Quiet and peaceful place . Large seating area . Food : 5/5
The food is good. The layout is a bit uncomfortable and you have not even a bit of privacy sitting in a booth. The waitress was awkward. Didnt really explain or sell the menu. Then just brought the plate to the table and left without saying anything. If you want to bring your own wine theres a $10 charge apparently.. but not allowed beer for some reason??.. if i ever go back would only be for takeout, again food is good.
First time we try a philippino restaurant. Excellent food and friendly service. We will come back for sure.
If you dont know what you want to eat, just go for a Bonifacio feast. For 2 people and costs 40.70$. It includes rice, vegetables, pork, chicken in a great balance and variety. It was certainly an enjoyable meal. Especially the sauce they glazed their pork skewers combined so well with the charred texture and flavour. Also the BBQ chicken, it had great flavour combinations. The whole meal was just a rollercoaster of different texture and flavours. Furthermore, they managed to prepare all this food and deliver it under 25 minutes which is quite impressive. The decent portions of food however arrived somewhat lukewarm and cold. I would have really liked to try their food when its pipping hot. Theirs sauces also are not that appealing to me. I felt like they didnt bring any flavours, even if they did, it didnt really go that well with the food that was already plenty flavourful and delicious.
The food is good but service tonight was disastrous. I d called 30 minutes prior to pick up and was told it would take 25 minutes. Once at the restaurant I waited an hour and a half for the order to be ready. No attempt to communicate or to remedy the situation from the restaurant end unless prompted. No apology either. The order also ended up missing items we d requested. Very disappointing.
The food is really good. Their mixed plates are delicious and the grilled squid amazing. The service was a bit slow, but not sure if there were issues in the kitchen or not yesterday.
Clean , tasty food and friendly staff
Absolutly delicious food, delicate yet flavorful and all at a great value. Good variety of meat and seafood dishes. Everything Ive tried so far has been excellent. The Lupa Lupa for 2 is great way to try many of the signature dishes.
Delicious philippino restaurant
If its your first time trying Filipino food, or if you arent sure what to get, get the Bonifacio feast boodle fight (good for 2 people)! Great value for money and the food is made with love. :) So glad we have La Republika in the West Island now!
Kalapaw previously La Republika is a decent Filipino style cuisine. The food there was good and the waiters staff and employees were decent and alright. The washrooms were the issue because there was no handle on on of them. Also they should fix the washroom since the previous owner did not. About the food, Their grilled chicken was burnt for some and the calamaries are the small ones. I feel like it is a little expensive as well considering the sizes but other than I had extreme issues with the food. I would reccomend it if only they renovate it and if they have good services and food options.
La Republika never disappoints! Consistent! Try their Bonifacio feast for two!
Main dish was great and dessert was awesome! This restaurant is a must try!
Ordered for a pick up a day advance as it s Mother s day. Came in on time for pick up and they said it s not ready. Will have to wait for another 20mins which i doubt so i left. That s basically unprofessionalism. I don t even know if food is great as they recently changed owners and recipes.
First time was amazing!!! Today was very dissappointed... Too many time to receive the order... the store was fully of smog from kitchen.
Their dessert menu is amazing Turon and Halo Halo
Always delicious!!!!!
We had party in this place last weekend around 60+people,employees are nice but management are poorly done, lack of communication and coordination..The arrangement or agreements between the owners and customer should not be change the last minute ,in the middle of the party the owner tell you that you cannot stay long ,shorten the time.We are not satisfied and not happy at all..Suggestions :if you accept a big party (buffet)you must use proper platters to make your foods always warm.Need a big bowl for a salad and salmon should be place in a platter then serve ,not cut in small pieces especially spring roll small already still they cut it in half.So what do you call of this economize the foods or tipid ulam...The best advice if you planning to have a party here put in writing every details of your agreement..
Delicious food, great presentation! You can do kamayan (not use utensils to eat, a traditional way of eating in Filipino culture). The restaurant is modern and clean. The staff are friendly. Also suggest trying the halo-halo iced dessert! Yum!
Grilled Salmon plate was so good it made my girlfriend wet
I would commit a crime for their fried chicken, BBQ sticks and so much more. It s that good.
Delicious authentic Philippine cuisine. Ordered various dishes, too many to name here but I have to say all of the dishes were super delicious and cooked and seasoned just right. If you are looking for a delicious authentic philipino cuisine, look no further. Rating: 8.5 out of 10
Good place and good vibes
Messing items in the order
I personally really enjoyed my experience. I tried the party mix and meat platter and pancit. All was delicious!!! Looking forward to returning to try some more if their dishes. We werent a fan of the coffee nor desserts though.
16$ for the rice noodle. A bit on the expensive side but was freshly made and tasty. Dont forget to put some hot sauce before you leave or ask for it.
You cant go wrong with their BBQ meat and fish dishes. We ordered a more traditional noodle dish which was interesting. Wouldnt necessarily order it again but worth it if you like trying new things. Good place to order out from we would definitely go for more bbq in the future.
Pleasantly surprised! Ordered the combo starters, the BBQ shrimp platter, the bistek tagalog, halo-halo and leche flan, the food was on point! Not to mention their atchara was so tasty! Brought home the BBQ pork skewers platter and pancit as well, but to full to eat it yet! Ba-on! Very polite service. Restaurant clean. Would recommend to others. Were already planning what to order for our next visit! Sarap ng sarap!
If you want to try delicious authentic filipino foods you must visit this place bring your whole family and feel the ambience of filipino culture and yummy foods. The stuff are always smiling and very accommodating. Big servings and reasonable price.
The Best Filipino Restaurant in Montreal. We always order the pork BBQ and its so delicious. Also tried Pancit and Palabok, 2 different types of noodles, could use a little bit of salt, its a little bland. We also tried the seafood platter and meat platter on a different occasion. Very good as well. Dont leave without trying the halo-halo (google it folks) for dessert. I would try all the desserts. I gave it 4 stars because the waiters could use a little etiquette in waiting, since not everyone who eats there are Filipinos. They could also dress a little less casual. All in all its always one of our top choices for dining.
Best fried chicken wings and chicken BBQ
I had my daughters birthday party yesterday at this place, it is SUPERB!!! due to yummyness of the foods we are not able to take some photos but super super delicious!! The staffs are outstanding, very kind and accomodating. My visitors would like to come back to have lunch or supper. Thank you so much for a memorable and yummy party
So good!!!! And cheap
Excellent Filipino food will be back for sure. Angelita super nice and Bon and Rubie awesome staff very attentive
Cool vibe here - but expensive for the portion sizes. Our waiter didnt know what items were on the menu (I think the person who waited on us wasnt actually the waiter). The food was good, but not super impressive. Would try again. Very few vegetarian options (as is common with Filipino places).
The food was great and tasty. Probably the first filipino restaurant that I tried with actual big portions, considering the price it s really worth it. Definitely try the Pancit Palabok!
Love this place food is great
Might look like a hole in the wall, but the food is delicious, great portions. Great people.
Good Filipino food in West Island. Try the pancit, lumpia and the sisig tacos in fact, just get everything!
I had the Bonifacio feast ordered from Ubereats. The delivery was much faster than expected and there was a fair amount of food for 2 people. I dont know enough about Filipino food to make any comparison but it was an enjoyable experience. The grilled meats are on the sweet side and have a nice flavour to them.
Great food! I sometimes use uber but Its better to order and pick up. People are very nice food is well packed and presented.
Crazy good, try the lapu lapu, just amazing!!!
Very, very good and huge portions !
45 mins wait & counting . not sure how long 2 sticks of pork bbq & sisiw takes to cook ?
Pros: the food is great, super yummy, great price! definitely takes you back to the Philippines. We had almost every platter and they were all on point! Cons: We made a reservation at 3pm but the table wasnt ready for another 20 mins. The food didnt come in at the same time, we were a family of 13, 6-7 of us had our food and were waiting for the rest of everyone elses food to come but it was getting cold so we couldnt wait. We ended up getting our food in 15-20 mins intervals and my sister didnt get her meal until everyone was already done eating. They did give us a dessert on the house, which we asked for, but also definitely appreciated! I would say, the restaurant definitely has a lot of potential, the food is really delicious and the prices are great! The only thing I believe needs work is the service & I feel like that can be solved by having a little more staff and someone to come check on us to see if everything is okay from time to time. Food/quality/presentation: 5 star Service: 2 star (I wouldve gave it 1 star but the staff that was there were really kind, which is always appreciated)!
Food was delicious. Price was great too. Very nice place! But Im not satisfied with the service. Long waiting time. We ordered specifically for a sisig (i suppose its on a sizzling plate) but received it as a taco sisig. I clarified it to the staff that I didnt order the taco one, but she said they are all the same. I wish she took her time to explain it. We would appreciate too if the staff will check on us from time to time. Definitely will not come back. The staffs need more training on customer service. Didnt even say thank you after we paid.
Great, we had a family birthday party there, great food!
It s really a shame .food is so good and place is very nice, but service is non-existent. We were 8 people a few weeks ago (with reservations) and yet when we arrived, we setup our plates/glasses/cutleries ourselves. We also had to clear the dirty dishes from our table ourselves. The owner was apologetic, so we gave them another chance tonight 14 people reservations. I called the owner specifically to make sure there is service. I was reassured. What a mistake! We have to do the same thing again self-serve! Service is non existent! They should put that in their sign .self-service restaurant. Such a shame! Please get help managing it your food is good! You will end up closing. When we left, none of the customers were sitting happy. Your food is good .get help!
The food was exquisite and the portions were quite big for the price. The feast at 37 dollars consisted in a bunch of meat and we could barely finish it. Aside from the feast, we took some Lumpia (Filipino style spring rolls filled with meat) and Pan it (a seafood sauce poured on top of fried rice noodles). I will be coming again to this restaurant :D
Si far so good lumpia is great.( eggroll looking thing)
Great food!
VERY DISAPPOINTED! My friends and I went to this branch after a long drive from out of town. As soon as we came in, we all ordered our food. After a long wait, my friends received their orders, but my boyfriend and I were still waiting for ours. My friends were almost done eating and we still haven t received our food. My boyfriend called the waiter to ask about the status of our order. The latter did not know what to answer. So my bf asked if he ordered our food, and the waiter said NO.. My bf being angry because of the situation, he told the waiter to just forget about our order because we did not want to wait for a long time again for us to receive our food. The waiter just left WITHOUT EVEN APOLOGIZING AND NOT A SINGLE COMPENSATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THEM. What a shame!!! I recommend La Republika in CDN area. Service is way better there.
I honestly have no complaints, the food was very nice and tasty. My friend and I ordered a meal that was supposedly for 2 people and had enough to feed ourselves for our later meal. The inside is very nice and has a slick design to it as well.
Loved the food and friendly service!
The best Filipino restaurant in the west island! Sariling atin! The Fried Halo-halo is worth the try!
If youve never tried Filipino food then id recommend this place! Food was excellent and the staff was so nice
Loved our Bonifacio boodle fight platter for 2. Everything on our plate was so good! pork barbecue and chicken barbecue were so tender, liempo was so crispy, side of veggies were great. Would come back here again for sure!
Amazing dishes for a good price. Friendly staff but service was kinda slow
Amazing food and customer service . We will be back soon thats for sure!
Delicious food and very friendly service. We will be back for sure!
We ordered the Bonifacio platter. Overall, the platter was good although everything was on the sweet side. The veggies and the achara was good. The steamed rice was not very hot and not freshly cooked. Coffee was bland and the halo-halo was not creamy enough.Btw, they should warm up the place before customers arrive.
Absolutely loved the food here! Super fresh and flavorful !
Amazing place as a reception for an event. Good food and amazing service. Would recommend all the way!!
