My expectations was to cook ourselves, but unfortunately, they cook them self and bring it to us. I ordered shrimp and they didn't clean it well. The service was pretty slow. My parents didn't like the restaurant, the food were seasoned awfully.
I took my father here on Father's day and it was yummy. A bit sad we can't cook our own food but it still tasted good. Service was great! Very friendly . The Korean fried chicken was real nice. Definitely going back.
(Sorry for the photos, the food was to enticing) The food was amazing, the flavor was colorful, Huge variety. Honestly you would be crazy to not try out their food at least once. Every bite was a new sensation and you can mix and mash anything on the menu together. It's a buffet so keep eating and drinking with friends. The vegi platter was to die for and could be the missing pice for your combination. I could continue to rave about it. However, the one thing you need to be careful of are the seafood portion as it will say 2pc but it means 2 files, approx 8-10pc.
It's a small restaurant but they have two floors, so they have a lot of tables and no wait time when we visit. The wooden exterior makes the place really cozy and likeable. The service was patient and polite, they were also trying their best to serve us as fast as possible but they had to go up and down the stairs which made me feel bad for them. I was greatly disappointed that they couldn't offer the usual KBBQ experience since the place seems to lack a bit of ventilation and now they prepare all the food in the kitchen instead of letting us grill the food at our table. The food was still decent but it tastes just so much better when we grill the meat at our own pace. Now, some of the cuts would arrive cold and overcooked for us so it felt dry and less appetizing. The flavours were also alright but I wish they had more options for sauces so that we can change the taste of the meat a bit after a while, making the meal more refreshing. I found it a bit expensive, 41$ plus tax per person. I understand that it is an all you can eat place, but the options to pick from and the quality of the food does not make me think it's worth the price. Especially the shrimps, they were a big let down to me.
The restaurant is small and has no ventilation so it was very smokey. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They changed the grills often to reduce the amount of smoke but it didn't make much difference. The food was decent but nothing special. Some of the meat was tender and some was chewy. The shrimp were tasty but not very big. The best thing that we ate was the spicy fried chicken. It was crisp, flavourful and juicy. It would have been nice to have more dipping sauces for the largely unflavoured meats. The kimchi was also very nice and not overly spicy. The restaurant is fun since you grill your own food to the doneness that you prefer but once the novelty wears off, you realize that you are paying to cook your own meal in a restaurant. My main concerns was more of a food safety issue. You are given tongs to grill the raw meat but you use the same tongs to serve the cooked meat and the side dishes thereby contaminating everything. I'm not usually a stickler about these things but in this case you are cooking many different pieces of meat at many different stages of doneness and everything is contaminated.
FOOD yes and no, some meats were chewy and some were real good so it all depends what you choose LOCATION great since they have their own parking, and indoor looks very cozy SERVICE Just okay, since we arrived maybe one hour before closing time (they close at 9:30pm during weekdays) the waitress reminded us they close in an hour, so my friend and I said no problem we would be out before then, but it took us a while to understand we had to scan a QR CODE that was written small on the table because no one came to our table to greet us or even saw there were QR code menu Finally we made our order, the food didnt come for a good 20 min. so we were like ok maybe its closing time soon so they were short on meats so we were patient, until we asked the waitress that kept on cleaning tables and then to tell us she would go ask. we were patient, didnt complain even though we were so hungry so basically we had literally less than 40min to grill the meats, seafood and eat. We just didn’t had any luck that night because our grill pan wasn’t hot enough that our meat wouldnt grill fast enough, so they were like half raw, half cooked but we kept eating no matter what because time was short. Some meats were really tender and some were like big chunks of bones without much meat, or either chewy (those who had a good experience, we envy you) but on top of it, we felt really pressured to leave because it was only 9:10pm when the waitress came to our table and asked if it was ok for us to get our ice cream now and also to pay since they were closing the cash. I just told her we were still cooking our meat and that our ice cream will melt. she kind of gave us a not happy face and left. so overall, if youre lucky like some reviewers then you will likely have a good experience with their customer service and also enjoy your food, their meat are not bad to be honest, they have a lot of choices to begin with. but if you are unlucky like me, I felt rushed, not even a nice smile or thank you for coming. At the end, we still didnt complain, we still gave them a 15% tip which costs us a good 120$ (including korean makkoli grape flavor $20) Later I had some stomache issue because i ate too fast and i ate half cooked half raw My advice: Avoid going toward closing time, you will be rushed and still paying them their usual tips. Make an appointment in advance, and youll be good
I've ordered from here through Uber but dining in was a much nicer and better experience. The restaurant is not very big, in a 2 floor house style building. Not sure if they removed tables because of covid but I was surprised to see maybe 8-10 tables downstairs and then the same amount upstairs. We were seats upstairs, there is definitely more room and we had one larger party next to us. It was our first time at this type of restaurant. I wish they would have explained everything but instead someone came over, popped in a tank, turned a knob and left us. I tried asking some questions but I was made to feel that it was pretty straight forward - well it's not. We put food all inside, covering the holes on the side which put out our fire then later on, a waiter came and noticed our grill needed to be replaced so he came to do that and then we knew to ask every few rounds of cooking. I think if they aren't going to explain it, they should at least print a little card on the table to explain. My 2 cents. Besides that, the rest was great! The food seemed very fresh and tasty. We tried a little bit of everything at first and then chose more of what we enjoyed. I went with my husband alone but I think next time I would come back as a group. Its definitely a more socially interactive experience, probably great for a first date so there's always something to do or talk about. Id absolutely suggest this restaurant to anyone. Bring floss.
4 star rating a few years ago. 1 star now. Food was cooked in the basement and brought up overcooked and rubbery to our table where it was placed on the "bbq" that had candles lit underneath. What a joke. Calamari was inedible, pork belly... Yuck. Don't get me started. This place is a scam now. Don't do it. Over priced and embarrassing for them.

I had tried to go here a while ago but they were so busy we couldnt even get a walk in table. This evening myself and my husband really felt like Korean BBq and did not want to go downtown so we decided to try K-BBQ. Let me begin with whomever the server was tonight was great, he was alone doing both service and preparing food. As someone that works in the hospitality industry none of what was wrong was his fault. This restaurant is by no means a Korean BBQ experience. The food comes to your table COOKED and then placed over a three wick candle on the grill it was cooked on. On what planet is this Korean BBQ?! The meat is not seasoned and honestly mostly fat. I dont know whom their meat supplier is but I strongly suggest to change to someone else. As far as as advertising/sales this is extremely misleading as a Korean BBQ restaurant. our bill was over 150$ with a bottle of wine plus tip...and we feel completely robbed.
All around, great experience! Excellent service, delicious food, and the service was top-notch Dietary restrictions: One of the members of our party is on a keto diet and cant eat anything marinated. They were able to provide meat without it.

Not a real Korean bbq experience, the meat come to the table already cooked and they use 3 candles to keep the meat warm. Not like the real Korean bbq experience where you cook your own meat. The meat was very greasy and overcooked, not good quality and I will not recommend this restaurant. Price is expensive for what you get and the restaurant was very smoky.
I used to love this place back then. He should UPDATE his google Images.... You get nothing raw every is PRECOOKED by him. He puts it on a hot plate heated by a 3 wick CANDLE. I used to come here years ago, and i will no longer come back, unfortunately. The food needs to be completely revamped ( kimchis dry, spring rolls are horrible on after taste, meats are okay... but the quality isnt the same. 1 choice of kimbap(sushi) (fake crab, egg, radish) lack of overall choices. (Diversity) -toilets needs to be refreshed / cleaned ( rusty and sticky ) -chiefs cooking and self cooking will give two completely different experiences ( chiefs cooking at the moment ). For the restaurants sake. This has got to be the worst korean food ive had in years. I would recommend to taste your own food and compare yourself to other restaurants in Europe or South korea. Its an insult.

Horrible. Absolute rip off. They send the half cooked meat from upstairs to kitchen at first floor they heat it up with a torch .Then they serve people like dogs, bringing meats to your table in a nasty metal container mixed with the order of the other people and drop them on the grill on your table which is barely hot with candle. It seemed like I was dreaming, How thats possible some people rip the others off like that. All different kinds of meat tasted the same because of their torching process. That was my worst experience in my life. If I had a chance, I wouldnt pay them a penny. Unfortunately, I paid them with the tax and 15% tips.

Avoid this place. Its not Korean BBQ. The meat had no flavour. They used the same seasoning on everything... And it doesnt taste like bulgogi. The meat isnt marinated. Due to a new law, we cannot grill at the table. They should just switch to a regular Korean restaurant without the BBQ.

Definitely not the best experience dining in. Me and my friends were there to celebrate a birthday. Since we are teenagers, I guess the workers didn t really give a crap about us. We didn t really mind it, because it s not uncommon that we experience that. (We re not the kind of teens that goes around and be all ganged up). After we finished eating, not even a minute later, the worker comes looking desperately to get us out of the restaurant. He had the bill and the card reader ready too. Once we payed, we sat there chatting for a little bit to finish up the conversation. However, this other worker wasn t so nice . Middle of my sentence, she comes and tells us to leave in a demanding way, because we were done eating. Sure, there was a couple waiting for their spot to eat, but kicking some teenagers out because they were trying to enjoy their friend s special day? It s not right. They might not have known, but they didn t tell the other people who were done eating a long time before us. I also checked the bill later in the week and found out they overcharged us by quite a bit.

Poor experience. No more grilling at the table, which is fine, but they dont grill the food in the back either, its cooked by blowtorch, half the food comes to the table lukewarm or cold. Fish is raw in the middle. No grill marks on any food. This is a scam in my opinion, it is certainly not Korean BBQ. Will never come back and will tell all my friends. Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

I have been to this Korean BBQ restaurant last summer, and the food was amazing. However, this time is 100% disappointing, because it is no longer traditional Korean BBQ. Now they cook the food ahead of time, torch the food then bring them to your table. The hot grill on the table is just for heating up the food that is already cooked with 3 candles. I have inquired the reason for this change, they said government is preventing them from continuing using BBQ. What turned me off the most is to see the food already cooked, and you do not know how long it has been there. I had stomachache, and I vomited all the food.
TERRIBLE! THE WORST korean bbq ever!! Very dishonest owner. They have changed the style of serving the food but they chose not to tell the customers the truth in advance but to SCAM us. The quality of the food is disgusting. They pre-cooked all the meats and seafood ,and then put them in those metal containers, which you never know how long those food has been siting outside for. When customers placed an order, they heat up the pre-cooked food with a torch and then put them on the grill at our table. What the hell is that?!?! My friends and my husband got very sick after. They got diarrhea and vomiting This is atually sad. They used to be good. However, they have ruined their reputation forever.

I have gone to this korean bbq in almost two years. Was excited to finally go back and bring my friend. But boy was it a disapointment. It is not korean bbq no more. The meat comes precook where they warm it up in the middle with a plate over candles... no raw meat, no cooking yourself and no premention about it before odering. Meat tasted funny and saw they where heating up with a blow torch. Highly do not recommend no more. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Ouff not a Korean bbq at all... but a Korean rexhaud... the plate is heated by 3 chadelles.. the meat is pre-cooked in chadelles. When serving, torch it to look grilled. No background music, no ventilation.
Last year I had such an amazing time here, but ever since the new law of no more gassed powered bbq, its not a kbbq restaurant anymore, Im so annoyed because there was no warning that they changed this on their websites or anywhere until after being there on the spot. Even things that arent cooked on the stove were served cold, the beef ramen, the coldest fried dumpling and fried pork cutlets. No discount whatsoever or at least freshly cooked before serving. It was so expensive for the worst kbbq experience. Only a plaque heated by a candle... Until they switch to electric BBQ stoves, Im never coming back here.

We do not recommend this restaurant at all. Its not Korean BBQ as stated in the name of the restaurant. We were very disappointed to find that the food was heated with a propane torch rather than on a barbecue by an employee behind the counter (in order to pretend it was cooked on a grill). The food arrives already cooked and even overcooked for our taste. The meat was spoiled because we had stomach aches afterwards (Ill spare you the details...) Fortunately, there was enough water to dilute the bad taste of the meat in the mouth. Verdict: we will never come back again thats for sure.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS It isn t the same as it was, they decided that it was no more bbq but more of a staff blow torches the meat inside and brings it out to you on the table where they use the old bbq hole in the table to keep the food warm . So empty and dead that half the food and side dishes were starting to spoil. It s such a shame how the restaurant became. It used to be so good when it first opened and an easy k-bbq to get to instead of going all the way downtown. Got nothing against the service since they do their job well, this review is much more against the owner of the restaurant that just gave up on the food. Very charming place with excellent cuisine. The sides dishes are always good and the meat is of good quality. Its perfect for a meal with friends. Being several allows you to order more variety of meat without risk of waste. The time between ordering and it arriving is not very long. Ordering via your phone is very pleasant. You can do this at any time during the meal. The staff is helpful and professional. They do not hesitate to come and change the burnt grills or check the gas cylinders. For people who have never tried Korean BBQ it can be overwhelming at first sight, but the place is worth it for its staff and food. I do not recommend it for young children who are not able to sit still for more than 30 minutes. It s a time-consuming style of eating. You wont be finished eating in 30 minutes. It can quickly get hot around the grills and cause smoke as the ventilation is not directly above the grills. All in all, these are not negative points. My friends and I go there regularly and we are never disappointed with our evening.
Comedically terrible and incomprehensibly smoke-filled. The other reviewers are so kind, Im in awe at their charity. You dont grill your food at your table. It comes out of a chafing dish onto a metal grill thats basically just sitting over a large candle. And yet the place is still full of smoke. Not a little bit of smoke. Not a faint aroma of char. Were talking smoke thick enough that, if you encountered it in any other building, would make you think Oh, I should leave, this building is clearly on fire.. A truly baffling volume of smoke that really seems to be shouting Hey, maybe this building doesnt have the ventilation necessary to be a restaurant. at anyone with enough sense to listen. Bah-nan-nas. Never seen anything like it. Meat was really overcooked and not great, banchan was fine, prices were absolutely ridiculous for re-warmed meat served in a room absolutely filled with smoke. With tip, I think we hit $150 for 2 people and 1 bottle of Soju. Yeah, I know! Sounds exaggerated. I get it. Trying to be a funny guy with an overblown review. Totally fair. Please, dont believe me. Go check it out. The smokell be there for you, I dont think it takes days off.

This place needs better ventilation. Really too bad but it s very smoky inside and you come out literally smelling like the barbecue. They were not quick on bringing meat out, had to keep asking. Everything tasted the same. Salmon was poor quality. Disappointed with experience.
its sad for me to say but this was the worst dining experience i had in years. food was okay but nothing special. i recommand the marinated chicken and the spicy chicken legs. also their seafood on the grill was decent. unfortunately, this place is understaffed,no ventilation and they give you 2h max even though the place was slow. me and my colleagues were inhaling gas and charred meat smoke the entire time. i felt sick to my stomach and had a headache until the next morning... sorry guys but am not coming back. 34.99/person for a terrible supper experience. on the brighter side of things. decorum was very pleasant. The atmosphere is very nice and the restaurant looks great. The food is fresh, the employees where super nice and the soju selection was good. Vegetarian options: If you dont want meat the veggie selection is good too and they have plenty of sea food.

The food was excellent, but the service was slow and they kicked us out after 1h30 minutes. They said they needed the table even if we were still eating. We didnt have time to finish. Its not professionnalism and its not a way to treat the customers that are paying a price thats not in line with the service offered at all.
I want to preface this by saying the female manager and female employee were extremely nice and comped our meals. They also apologized profusely and did their best to help us. The first issue is the rude male waiter we had all night. He was not attentive, didn t give a hoot what we needed, and openly berated us. Firstly, the food I ordered did not arrive for over an hour (we were there from 6 45-8pm). I asked multiple times and the male waiter told me it was my fault for ordering from my own phone as opposed to the entire table ordering from one phone, and that their system for ordering was down. Nobody told us these two details when we sat down. Furthermore the cutlery we received was DIRTY. We again asked our waiter for fresh cups (2) and he disappeared again. We took 2 packaged chopsticks that were on the bar beside us because we had no cutlery and he appeared to raise his voice at my cousin that she couldn t have them. They also ran out of rice. The food was gross. The seafood was fishy and musky to the point I spat out both the shrimp and octopus. Our fried pork cutlet was soggy, mushy and cold as if it had been cooked and left out. They were extremely stingy with the side dishes (they served two, we were five people). The place is a health and fire hazard- COPIOUS smoke to the point you literally cannot see in front of you with no ventilation especially upstairs. But the worst part: we had NO FOOD for the entire stay. Our grill top was broken, and despite flagging waiters down 5-6 times nobody was able to fix it. We watched the same 3 pieces of meat trying to cook our entire stay. Not to mention the beef has a grainy and overly metallic taste. Do not waste your money here- I ve never walked out of a restaurant until today. Absolutely horrendous food, combative staff, safety hazard establishment, and faulty equipment.
Needs better ventilation..
It is absolutely ridiculous how this restaurant is still open when it is such a health hazard. As soon as we walked in, we could see the black smoke hovering in the air. I was ready to walk out then and there but still decided to give it a chance. I have been to many kbbq places and they all have a vent over the burner, but not this place. We were sat on the second floor where the smoke was even worse. Not to mention, nobody came to the table to greet us after being seated to explain how the menu works, etc. We were waiting for a waiter to come and even tried waving someone over. That part did not bother me as much, as I understand it is not the waiters fault for lack of staffing, but rather the manager. Eventually my friend got up to get a hold of someone to ask about the smoke. Their only solution was to open a few windows but that it made no difference whatsoever. We ended up leaving no longer after 15 min as the smoke was unbearable. Super disappointed. The food that others were eating around us looked fantastic so it would be a great place if they could invest in a ventilation system. Until then, I would not go here.
Quality and selection of food has gone down recently, but considering market prices, its to be expected. Still worth trying and coming back.

Update (3 years later): Service is inattentive and not as polite as before. Food often appears late or dont appear at all. Basics requests like refills on water were forgotten. When there are just as good Korean BBQ restaurants with better service, its hard to recommend this place anymore.
Used to be a great restaurant with great food and good service a couple years ago, but the service quality has become unacceptable as of late. Its almost as if the restaurant has turned into a broad daylight scam shack. The grill tops never work properly because the workers keep recycling already used gas canisters in order to save money. (this has happened the last 2 times Ive been there). And when you ask them why its not working they treat you like a toddler and give totally unrelated explanations as to why the grills arent working. Definitely would not recommend going to this place at this moment, unless you want to waste 70% of your time watching over raw meat trying to cook on a non existent fire.
I used to be a regular at this restaurant, but I will never be going back. The grills are clearly not being maintained properly, as the meat comes out undercooked and lacking flavor. The servers make excuses for why they cant change the gas, and its clear that the management is not taking the necessary steps to ensure the quality of the service. In addition to the undercooked meat, the water cups were dirty and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. Its a shame to see such a once-great establishment decline so dramatically, but until they make significant improvements, I cannot in good conscience recommend it.
First off, the food is great! If you can end up eating... Sadly their grills malfunction, on my experience, 75% of the time, where one piece of meat takes 10 minutes to cook, most likely due to the weak gas containers. This is definitely done on purpose since they instate a 2 hour limit for you to eat, therefore you end up getting scammed to eat only 10 pieces for over 35 dollars. You can even see them re-use the same gas containers in order to maximize each container to save money. Also, they dont even allow the customers to put the grills to full power since it creates too much smoke, but surprise surprise, they dont have a ventilation system! Once again, in order to save money on necessary things for customers. This is one of the worst parts about going here since the smoke will stick onto your clothes after eating, therefore your clothes will smell really awful. Not to mention, their service is absolutely horrible, with no concern whatsoever about the malfunctioning grills. This is probably not the fault of the waiters and waitress but more of an inherent flaw of the restaurant in order to make easy profits on customers. Just do not go here, they are scammers.

Food is great. Service was ok at the beginning but the later part was they were giving our orders late Poor ventilation! They opened their back door so that smoke will come out. So, we ate with our coats on as it was cold from outside. Dont eat here if you have a sensitive eyes or dont sit in front of the grill.

The food is good and the service is fast, but the location is too small and not convenient for groups of 6 people because of the 4-person ovens. There is a huge lack of ventilation, the smoke and the smell of cooked meat are much too pronounced. In addition, the front door which opens constantly and the lack of space mean that it is either too hot because of the ovens or too cold because of the door. The prices are affordable but the ambiance spoils the dining experience.

It s an AYCE Korean BBQ type restaurant, but the fried chicken is the BEST I have ever had. Sometimes I go there just for their fried chicken. The main waitress there is super nice and friendly. The ventilation is like any other BBQ place, so make sure to not wear your fanciest clothes!
There is no ventilation in the room, and it is full of barbecue smoke, and the smell is all over the body when I get home, and the food is not as good as before. Especially the cold noodles, very bad.

Its decent korean bbq. Not the best, but not too bad. It was VERY smokey though and I think their exhaust system needs to be better. I felt like i was smoking inside there after 1.5 hours of eating. Food-wise their meat marinades are good (4/5) and the fried chicken is really good (5/5) I didnt like their teokkochi as it was really hard (1/5) and barely edible.

The quality of the meat is great. All the beef options are pretty good and pork too! The service was great since they provided everything we needed during our time there. My only complain is that there is no ventilation system to get rid of the smoke and our clothes ended smelling a lot after going there but otherwise everything we good!
One of the best Korean grill place in Montreal. No a-la-Carte. Weekend buffet $38 (with Lamb, Salmon, and Ribeye Steak). Weekday buffet is $32 (April 2023). Nice setting and good services.

Very expensive for the menu that they offer, which only has a few options. Service is super slow because it seems that only 2 people work there. Worst of all this place has non-existent ventillation to remove all the smoke created from the grilling. When you enter you get hit by black smoke. This is probably against code because you are breathing in dangerous smoke while youre there. I honestly dont know how some reviews claim this is the best korean bbq, because it isnt, there is much better options in the west island and around the montreal region.

I have been to this place twice now, and perhaps I dont choose the best options but the taste of the food does not leve an impression on me whatsoever. Overall its okay. Lots of pieces of meat are really chewy. The best thing I had was the spicy chicken and the curry chicken. We were seated upstairs since we were a bigger group but there is no ventilation , only a door that opens to the outside and 2 fans but that did not stop the smoke from making me tear up and just uncomfortable experience. Not to mention you leave there smelling like smoke and bbq which lingers. However, the service was great, they are always fast, efficient and kind. They just reaaaally need some ventilation!

We went on a Saturday 6 pm. As mentionned ventilations is an issue. They have fans and open doors but not enough to get rid of the smoke. And this is spring time. In winter, I dont know what they do. Because of the smoke accumulation, the second floor ceiling has lots of oil leaking marks. They will need a real ventilation system designed for this type of restaurant. It does have AC. On the PLUS side, if you are a meat lover, this is THE PLACE! Wow, so many types of meat cuts. Some seafood and little vegetables. Portions are good. Go easy on the first order. If you are still hungry, order your second serving. Unlimited side dish (kimchi and other marinated veggies). Service was good. Pretty quick. Ordering system: you scan a QR. The menu pops up on your cell, you pick what you want from your cell phone. I do recommand but dont wear your fancy clothes because its going to smell when you come out of there. LOL! For sure Im going back!

I ve been trying so many kbbq and it s the first one that I can order my foods through my phone and not on paper! That was a game changer. For once , all my orders were there and I don t think you forgot anything. We ordered 3 times. Your staff was amazing. You always came asking us if there s anything else we need. Love the service. Meanwhile , I suggest to others , if you re planning to go there, you prolly don t want to shower before since you might need to shower again. Make sure to drink a lot of water while eating too. Drink some soju and beer with your meal if you want to elevate your experience. Anyways , I m coming back again !!!!

No ventilation above the grill plate!!! Mandatory shower as soon as we arrived home. The meats are not very fresh, it is so obvious by their color, even certain that they try to hide it with the marinade. In short, I dont recommend it.

Unsanitary, meat filled with fat, room without ventilation. The food was just okay, but I expected more for $45 per person. Being Asian, I eat the fat around the meat, but he had so much of it. Several pieces were left out by us because it was just fat and no meat. Also, the meat is very soggy, probably too much baking soda in the marinade. The marinade is too sweet for the chicken. The ramen was mama brand instant noodles. It was a very dirty restaurant, everything was sticky. The walls and doors in the toilet were abominable. My brother had a bad headache when he left because there was no ventilation. None. Both doors had to be opened. The waitress was stupid. Avoid this restaurant.

Maria, May and Bob are the nicest, the more kind and genuine staffs I ve had in a bbq resto. Changed our grills often, passes to check up the clients a lot, very present on the floor. Not once we had to chase down our server, she was always present. Although the ventilation could be better, I enjoyed very much my time here eith my friends and they ll most definitely see us coming back more often as a group.

My girlfriend & I go try this restaurant for the first time. Background story we went to Seoul south korea and had korean bbq there and it is my favorite food top 2 for sure. We sit down and we get a pinte of water. I would say it was tap water temperature room also. So my girlfriend order a bubbly and i a nestea. This place is an all you can eat buffet and you have to scan the qr code to order. We get no information from the staff but we are not complaining and we just order one of each thing that look good on the menu. We eventually receive our food, mostly red meat Im not kidding the meat is full of fat it is like half fat. Not looking the same as the picture at all. One is even brown looking. Not going into too much detail we try them all even tho they arent looking good. Well they taste even worst. To be fair two of them were fine 5.5/10 the steak and sirloin but the rest were disgusting. It happen. We try to eat as much as possible to be polite. Fast forward the end of the dinner the hostess goes to the couple sitting two table from us looking as they are done. She then ask them if it was their first time coming to the restaurant. The guy said yes. The hostess start schooling them that next time to not order that much food. He stay nice but clearly is displease by the attitude looking like they are on a date he wants to stay calm. I would say they didnt eat about 35-40% of their meat. As to us we end up eating 80% of the meat. Im a big boy and i usually finish everything. But this meat was not good. Its our turn to go pay the bill and the same hostess start schooling us for the same reason. We ended up paying 115$ for 2 which is fine you cant always win when you try a new restaurant. Lady there is a reason people dont finish their meat because they expect meat not fat. To the restaurant : If you want to avoid waste make the portion smaller so people can taste 1st. Will never go back. Rude staff. Ps: they use grey masking tape to hold the bac beneath the table which support the broiler to cook the meat.

Best Korean fried chicken ever!
food: The mutton, pork, and beef ribs were all too old to be chewable no matter how grilled they were, and the mutton was a bit stale. The portion of cold noodles is so small that you can finish it with just one chopstick. The steak meat was ok. Vegetables, only mushrooms and thin winter melon. The portions of all the food are very small, and they are all piled on one plate. No matter how many people eat, there is no introduction to the meat on the plate. You also have to place an order for basic sauces and vegetable leaves to wrap the meat, otherwise, they won t be delivered. Tea is charged separately. The teapot is made of stainless steel. The entire pot is stained with cigarette oil. It is sticky and disgusting when you hold it. Serve: The waiters face was particularly ugly, and she gave the impression that she was very dissatisfied. She was very rude when she put the plate on the table, and when I asked her any questions, she said, Look at the QR code yourself, its all there. When clearing the table next door, the sound of throwing plates and bowls is very loud, like smashing porcelain. If you are not mentally prepared for the sudden bang, it will scare you (it seems like you hate the guests and blast the guests) look). Atmosphere: The floor in the room was greasy and high heels and sneakers were particularly slippery. There are occasional flies in the house. The draft was too weak, and the room was filled with oily fumes, which stung my nose. After eating, the smell of oily fumes could not be removed from my clothes, so I had to wash them. The toilet was dirty, there were used paper towels on the floor, and even the faucet for washing hands was not clean. Such bathrooms are quite rare. Horrible experience, food category is less than before. No service and the waitress told me cash has discount, but finally got nothing. They urge me paid for at least 15% percent tips after tax and let me leave. I paid money more than that and didn t got exchange. The ground is full of oil.
Went out with a friend. Good selection within the buffet, staff was super helpful with the grilling though its also pretty simple as is. The grilling section had the expected meats and veggies as well as stuff I hadnt had the opportunity to try before like ox tongue which was pretty good! Not to mention, the sides and pre-cooked meals offered were delicious: the spicy fried chicken and the mango ice cream were particular highlights, just keep proportions in mind when ordering. Restaurant wasnt very crowded which I love and seemed like a good amount of room for parking for people who drive (I dont). All in all, pretty good time!
Although the staff was super nice, the atmosphere was pretty bad. No air ventilation. You are sitting in a fog of smoke. Majority of our meats was not marinated nor even salted. Under the grills there are plastic containers that are attached with scotchtape. The table was sticky. Overall.. bad experience. I would definitely not recommend for anyone.

I ve been there over a dozen times and unfortunately the overall quality of this place has dramatically declined in the past 5 years. I went again today thinking that things went back to normal (I hadn t gone there in a very long time) .1st of all now you have to ask for lettuce , they don t offer it with the side dishes anymore and most of the time don t even have the lettuce. I mean, I went in the morning and only 3 tables were being used and somehow they ran out of lettuce ( the server said she would go to check if she had any , she didn t even go to the kitchen to ask she just looked from far way on the counter where she usually sits and said sorry we don t have any.)when they do have lettuces , the lettuce is either dirty ( one time I found a bug and lost my appetite . I didn t dare to touch the lettuce that day) or they will tell you, that you can only have one lettuce for the stay. 2nd of all they are very stingy with the side dishes. When me and my family went last time. We requested multiple refills of a specific side dish as we all only ate that type of side dishes and the waiter brought us one and she looked at us and said this is is the last refill that she would bring us. 3rd of all depending on your luck you may wait for long periods of time before you get the waiters assistance ( if you need water or drinks or tissues or if you have an issue ).4th; they are ver judgmental on the portion that you order. Me and my familly are sweet people not big meat eaters. So we order lots of ice cream because we love there I ice cream .the waiter would come and tell us that s to much your stomach will hurts and when we tell him that wr are fine , we just want to eat the ice cream. The waiter would place 4 ice cream scoop in a 1 plate ice cream scoop (basically 4 timey is et cream scoops that are the size of 1 ice cream scoop). 5th ; they are discriminatory towards there customers. I have noticed that they treat there customers of Asian descent differently. They provide them with metal ustensiles, metal plates and scissors and when they order ice cream they give them the normal chocolate decorated ice cream plate while other customer get wither chopsticks and the black small bowls. Finally, They will make a scene if they are not happy with the tip. Now my family works in a nuisîmes where tips is important and I personally believe that if yo cannot tip you waiter then you should not eat out . That being said I don t believe that the waiter should make scene. I saw the waiter tell the customer you tipped less than 15% , why ? 15% is the minimum. What didn t you like about our service .the customer was so embarrassed she paid extra and immediately left.I felt that this is a conversation that they should have had alone not in front of people. Basically, I will not be going bac there and I honestly don t recommend as that place is supposed to be a all you can eat korea bbq Buffett. People go there to experience Korean style bbq like in the dramas and they shouldn t be shamed on what the order or have to deal with judgemental servers or have to scene an unpleasant scene about tipping.

Very dirty restaurant. The fan in the bathroom is full of grime, the doors are stained with greasy fingers not to mention the amount of dust all over the restaurant. Let s just say that s enough to whet the appetite. There were 5 of us and our tables were moved 4 times during the evening because the burners were not working. Imagine the circus, having to get up every time and transfer our dishes worst experience in a restaurant of my life. No ventilation, our eyes stung because there was so much smoke everywhere. The food is ordinary, nothing more. The owner gave us a 50% discount because she was so embarrassed. There are so many good restaurants, dont waste your time and money.
If you look outside it seems like a nice little restaurant...but once inside it gets tougher... Smoke everywhere; no ventilation.. the floor was slippery and sticky.. On the 2nd floor... the ceilings and the globes of the lights etc. were filled with yellow and brownish grease slides as well as the dirty and sticky glasses. Poor meat quality... bad taste, texture, full of fat and clearly not fresh from the fridge... etc etc... Unfortunately the employees/service is not better.. Ive never seen anything like it... its DISGUSTING, really the worst restaurant Ive ever been to... I dont even want to imagine what the kitchen and the fridges look like... Much too expensive for the quality received... I strongly advise against it if you dont want to end your evening in your bathroom...

Really good. Pleasantly suprised actually in a good way. First time I had Korean BBQ in Montreal. Meat cuts were good, friendly service, and the even had fried chicken which was good. Next time I travel to Montreal Ill have a meal here again and again =). Its been 4 years since I was here and Im back. Still holds up. Lunch isnt busy, so if you want a quiet lunch and have the restaurant all to yourself or your group have lunch here. Place is busy in the evenings and weekends
Place it self dose not live up to its full potential , the walls are all covered with smoke and looks very dated. It was very quite and had no vibe. Food was good. Staff were friendly and nice. We had good a time.
Health hazard, avoid at all cost, MAPAQ should be all over this case. I had gone several years ago and at the time , the place was okay but it has seriously gone down hill. The experience at this restaurant was so bad I don t even know where to start. Once you walk in, you are greeted by thick cloud of smoke (the staff wear masks, I wish I had one as well). Once you are upstairs it only gets worse, all surfaces are sticky, the lights (which only half work) are covered in a thick layer of grease. To add we discovered that the grease catchers under the table are literally dirty Rubbermaid bins attached with duck tape. There is NO VENTILATION, The smoke was so thick you could see each table staring at each other wondering if we were all going to die or expecting to hear someone start calling out Bingo numbers.The waiters barely spoke to us and were just chucking stuff onto the table, even things that we did not even order. There were no napkins, no water refills, and the food was edible, at best. We all came home with a headache, stomachache and reeking of BBQ grease. I seriously don t understand how a place like this can stay open. They should be reported to MAPAQ.

Slow and mediocre service in French, he did not warn us of the change in laws which means that there is no longer a burner to cook our meat by ourselves. We drove 50 minutes to get back there

We revisited this placed two years after since our last dine-in. The air was filled with smoke due to the lack of ventilation. The worst part is that the smoke didn t come from people grilling their own meat. Instead, they now serve meat with everything prepared in the kitchen, with medium quality meat at best. After reading the reviews on Google, the presence of many low-star comments convinced us that this is a really dishonest practice by the owner to NOT informed customers of this change prior to their visit, despite many complaints about the situation has been made. They know full well that such dining setting will affect the experience at a usual all-you-can-eat but still refuse to hide it until you discover it and this realization decisively triggered me to write this negative review. All I have to say is this is officially the worst experience in just about any restaurant hands down and do not recommend anyone to come to this place getting charge high price for a subpar experience and food. Much better places out there.
Food was horrible. Serving overcooked cold meat. I heard they can t use the grill at the tables anymore because of safety issues. They should have told us on the phone when we booked. Waste of time and money. Making me feel sick after having their food. Sorry for them but this business is going down if they keep operating like this.
The meat was very big, hard, and very old. The seasoning was just sesame oil on top and salt at the bottom. Also, I ordered another powdered seasoning that felt like large pieces of MSG mixed with instant noodle seasoning. I was really disappointed! There were also flies flying around, and the sauce was very, very salty!

For $100 for two... the shrimp are not deveined... it says 4 pieces but we bring you 8 so $1 a piece you really have to force yourself, the meat is just full of fat and veins on the other hand the meats with the beautiful pieces are very good!

Loved it. Although you need to make reservations as they are often full house. We were 2 tables. The food was good, but one of the grill didn t work properly so it took longer to cook.. By then end, half of us were full already so we ordered ice cream but the other half still didn t received their other meat order maybe they thought our party finished eating or maybe it was reaching closing time.. We asked them to check in vain. - I d go back but for early supper.
Been here few times but the visit I had today I wasnt really happy about. The food were good but the waitress wasnt even smiley. She was likea robot and when it was time to pay she was upset about the tip LOLL. I accidently put 5$ she went and came back while we were leaving and said you paid ke 5$ for my service? I was like might he a mistake cause I put 15% and she was upset about it and I had to tip extra 10$ . Non thank you nothing just robotic. I usually tip waitress if they give a really good service not for being robotic. Previous visits I had I had a great time.

Terrible service & food. First time trying out this place and they didnt even come say hi and tell us how things work. They couldnt even tell us what meat was on the plate. Forgot to bring us the complete order and when we asked for it they said I dont think we have time; an hour before closing. Overall it was not a good experience and probably will never go back. I do not recommend this place and if you do go please please stay away from the calamari.
