Great food. I had the veggie omelet and dragonfruit lemonade. The drink is a must. The service however, was ok. The waitress took my plate even though I wasn t finished eating. She gave it back after I told her I wasn t done. If they can please ask first instead of just picking up the plate.

I ve been here a few times now and I ve had a variety from their menu. My new favorite is the bacon onion Swiss cheese Benedict with spicy hollandaise. The plates are huge that I can never finish everything. My only complaint, the potato fries are always hit and miss. Service is always great.

Vegetarians, Be Cautious About What s on Your Plate I want to share our experience to caution fellow vegetarians. My wife, a vegetarian, ordered a fully veggie sandwich with potato cubes. To her dismay, she discovered that the potato cubes were mixed with small slices of sausages. This was deeply upsetting for her. Adding to the disappointment, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to place our order. The restaurant was very crowded, and it seemed they were understaffed. If you re a vegetarian, I suggest being extra cautious when dining here.

Dish was too salty, coffee cup dirty, waitress not competent. Last visit.

Our server Genie was amazing I made special request to have grill clean before cooking our meals on it and she followed through. She was delightful and what we order was delicious 50x better than any Dennys in the GTA. She went above and beyond and she communicated well both in French and English and very respectful. I love my egg Benedict veggie I loved cheese sauce layered egg on the Benedict toast. My kids loved breakfast poutine. Merci Beaucoup Mille fois!

The food is excellent but the service is very very slow, I think there s just a lack of communication/organisation and thus service is really slow. I see waiters waiting with their arms crossed when there s people waiting at the door to be seated.

Met friends for brunch. I am vegan they are not. Not much choice for me but the waitress was helpful. I was there for the company. Food was ok. My friends were happy with their choices. Vegetarian options: There are many. No so much if your vegan though.

We didnt arrive at a good hour I think because while we were eating she was sweeping the room. I had never seen that. Certainly since it was already almost closing time she wanted to save time. They were large portions even for the childrens menu. We finished our plates while sharing. I will definitely come back but this time in the morning :-)

Took almost half an hour to get 2 eggs and toast. People around me who showed up after got their meals before. Nobody cared so i left.

In response to their response: the waitress only came by once to ask how everything was and that was before he had taken a bite of the actual waffle. He ate the fruits that were somewhat okay and the rest were disgusting. After that, we sat around waiting for the waitress to tell her who was also, assuming, on her break for 90% of our time there. We had been waiting to let her know about the plate and we were only able to tell her the second time she came around finally and saw us when we asked for the bill. She was also very passive aggressive, no wonder the manager hired her. My husband was actually the one who mentioned the plate wasn t good to her, so clearly you don t know the full story or someone s not being honest here. We weren t expecting the dish to be free but at least some acknowledgment from the manager or a genuine apology for a bad dish priced at almost 20$. It was almost a spit in the face from the manager with his 10%. A definite lack of customer service there. The food quality has gone down the gutter and that s that, and clearly your honesty. Do better! I ordered a waffle with fruits, the first couple of fruits were okay and then it went downhill from there. 90% of the fruits were sour and the waffle was soooo bland and it had a weird taste. Given that this was a 20$ waffle, I expected way more from this. I left very unsatisfied and took only one bite from my waffle. I brought it up to my waiter and the only way the manager would rectify this was giving me 10% off, pretty pathetic. This is my last time going there.. they ve gone downhill and I don t think they re going to last much longer.

Food was great. Waitress was good but brought the bill without us asking for it. Once we paid she never came back to the table to bring us more coffee. She clearly wanted us out. I get it was busy but I dont get out much and was enjoying my time with my bestie. She then comes over to us and tells us to leave as the restaurant is busy. I have never seen this in all my 43 years. Everyone around was shocked too. Another waitress came and apologized on her behalf and said she doesnt know how she gets away with it always. So its not the first time. We will not be back cause of her.

I am a regular patron of several of the l Oeufrier locations. I did enjoy the breakfast as usual but there are 2 things that put a bad taste in my mouth. First, I ordered the full breakfast which I regularly order whether at this location or other, and when I received our breakfasts, we were served one slice of toast per plate. I asked the waitress why it only came with one slice and she replied that the plate came with one slice but an extra slice would be provided free of charge for the asking. How can it be free of charge if I paid for it? Second, when I received my bill, I noticed that the coffees were charged at $1.00 per cup. Once again, I asked the waitress why the charge and she informed me that coffee never came with the breakfast. Totally not true. I was at another location for a business meeting on the 29th of December and coffee was included with the breakfast. All that I can say is that this underhanded way of treating your clientele will never be your strength. I understand that costs have increased and making a profit has become more challenging, but it is no reason to go directly into your clients wallets without any clarification. Needless to say that I will never enter your establishment again and will share pitiful manner in which you conduct business. Shameful. Cheers

They only give 1 toast to you. The server i got both times I went was cold and rude. The prices are high and the food isnt that good.

Went on a sunday. We were 3. There were 3 6seat tables empty. They said they couldnt put us in a table of 6...suggested they separate the table into 4 and 2! They said they were not allowed to do that!!! There were tables of 4 occupied by 2 people! There was no line up so we were just standing there .After waiiting 15 minutes we decided to leave and went to Amys...the hostess was much more efficient and courteous and despite the fact that it was busy we were seated within 5 minutes. Much better choice.. loeufrier lost us as customers....they should hire a good manager.

We usually don t go dine out for breakfast because we ve had bad experiences but this place is amazing from the food to the staff and cleanliness will be going back for sure. Kid-friendliness: They have a variety of cereals for kids to choose!

Only came here because Amy s up the street was closed on Tuesdays. Food extremely bland. Avocado spread on toast was butter thin - tasteless, hollandaise sauce lemony, potatoes were cold. When you have to hunt the waitress 4 times for service - not good.

I came around 9:30am on a Friday and it was pretty full, but they had a few empty seats so I was able to get a table right away. Servers spoke both French and English. I ordered Le Petit Gourmand and it was a pretty big serving - I found it hard to finish. The service was pretty fast. I asked for scrambled eggs. It came with 2 eggs, sausage and bacon, 2 slices of bread with peanut butter and jam on the side, banana crepe with hazelnut spread, and I asked for half mashed potatoes and half chips (or fries, i forgot what they called it). I liked the combination of both, surprisingly, cause it gave crunch to my mashed potatoes. I think just the chips would be too hard to eat and dry with all the other things on the plate. The crepe The banana they used was ripe and blended nicely with the crepe and hazelnut spread. Cant really go wrong with this combination. All in all, it was pretty good, big portions, and fast service. I have eaten in LOeufrier in other locations and the one in Trois-Rivières tasted a bit better for me.

I arrived alone, there was a couple in front of me and we had been waiting for 10 minutes yet there was a free table of 4 and 6 that could be separated a family of 4 arrived and they were immediately seated .

Cold from the window, lack of heating and small tables ruined this place. The seat was next to the window. There was a large heater all along the window, but it was off. The managers obviously put the comfort of their clients second to saving on heating costs. The table for two was also too small to have space for the excessively oversized plates and everything else. Will not go again.

Ive been here a few times and the staff are all super but the food is.. meh. They have a lot of vegan/ vegetarian options that are just not good at all. Overpriced and not filling. Absolutely do not recommend anything on that part of the menu. Their traditional breakfast is better if thats what youre looking for(eggs, bacon etc.) Nothing special but better. Just disappointed that the other options are not up to par Vegetarian options: Theyre not good... its what most of the population thinks of when they think of vegetarian- boring and bland Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options but they dont know what theyre doing

People working there are not happy, no smiles at all.

We were greeted warmly and welcomed in early as the first customers (jetlag ). The server was polite, friendly, funny, and efficient. The food was excellent and filling! Unfortunately, the AC was on a fritz and kept shutting down after running for a few short minutes. The display board is beautifully hand written. Parking: Its a parking lot shared with a few other businesses in a plaza. We went before many of the businesses opened, but it seems like theres ample parking all around. Kid-friendliness: Theres a kids menu with mouthwatering items, breakfast specials, and the server is super friendly and accommodating.

As I sit here on a hot summer day. I watch the staff sweating bullets, the patrons sweating bullets. 30° weather, a restaurant full of customers and its hotter in the restaurant than it is outside. Not sure how a modern breakfast restaurant not have air conditioning. Couldnt enjoy my food from how hot it in here. Never coming here again

Disappointing breakfast, food was meh. They also charge for coffee and dont tell you in advance. Its not included with the meal like every other breakfast place and it runs up the bill a little bit. Update: I saw the owners reply. At the end of the day the food is the problem, not the premium coffee. Sadly, the meal was overpriced and pretty mid. My wife and I will not be returning.

I was there on this weekend and I was very dissatisfied with the customer service. Not only that, my beans were cold and eggs weren t cooked right. Very disappointing.

I was in the West Island with my friend and decided to go to ourfrier asthe neighbouring restaurants were full. After ordering the food which almost 30 minutes to come for some eggs Benny and yogurt. Overall we were so dissatisfied, my hollandaise sauce was cold and coagulated, and my potatoes were cold and somewhat burnt. My friends yogurt had the whey on top of it and was very strange. The fruits in the yogurt were extremely mushy and tasted freezer burnt. After being extremely disappointed we left in awe as we wanted to sit down for a lovely breakfast but instead left disappointed. Never again. As for the restaurant itself the men washrooms was extremely unkept and gross. Along with the window sill was extremely dusty.

Hi, I ve been to L oeufrier twice and I had the same waiter twice. He has glasses. I didn t not appreciate his service twice. The only reason why I went there a second time was to give it a chance. He is arrogant I find. He does not come and check on the client to see if everything is okay. I did not appreciate his service. He should try and be more amicable towards clients that come. Thanks.

I recommend sharing the plates are gigantic. some plates remind me of family style dinning. If not expect to take some home.

Too bad I do think the owners who pay most probably a high price rent for there restaurant should pay a little more attention to detail this to say more smiling personal give attention and acknowledgement when customers come in restaurant and have to wait to be seated proper way to present a menu not throwing it at us coming back to check un customers to see if everything is OK like coffee refills I have been in business for 42 years and Director of a huge store so believe me I know what customers are all about I took the time to write all this cause I care and hope you restructure your ways to have a more pro active smiling personelyou never have 2nd chance to make a good impression and this is a tough business.

I go to this breakfast place with my best friend every few weeks and it never disappoints! Took my dad today and he loved it as well so it seems to be a big hit in my family. Great portion size and they always get the order right even if there are modifications made. No complaints!

Amazing - Simple word to describe the food, service and experience. The helpings are great and its fresh fresh off the skillet ! Its usually very busy, so get in line early to get your table and dig in ... We tried the omelettes, breakfast poutine, eggs, sausages, all good !

Without infamy and without praise, normal portions (therefore quite generous) and prices too. Service a little slow for Sunday brunch but the staff were certainly friendly. However, the queue and the general crowding are not justified by the quality of the products, the menu is very vast but not everything is of great quality. The potatoes especially tasted old. Especially when you think about the amount of brunch options there are nearby there is definitely better.

Having eaten here only once, I decided to give this restaurant another try. The noise level was beyond tolerable. And it wasnt completely full. There was also a very loud grinding sound which seemed to come from the kitchen area. After being there for at least 15 minutes, I had a pounding headache! We got up and left. It is really unfortunate. Would have liked to give a local restaurant the business. After todays experience, I will not go back.

Fantastic food! Took off some stars because we ordered food to go and didn t notice until my husband got home that one of the two breakfast poutines weren t what I ordered. With such specific and fun names, it s an unfortunate mistake to happen. So all this to say, you won t be disappointed with your food if you check your food before leaving the restaurant if you get take out!

We ate here for the first time today. Coffee was good, service good, eggs; meh! Omelet was the wrong one, bacon instead of sausage, with eggshells and it was overcooked. The toast was way too buttery and quite tough, sausage was intensely salty and greasy. Im not sure we made the correct choices here today. Not sure we are getting our moneys worth.

It was difficult to choose what to eat since the menu has so many options. I chose Maryline en Amour & was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients. Eggs were perfectly cooked, waffle was warm & had abundant toppings(I left some on my plate). Service was pleasant & quick. I will definitely return !

They will respond to anything to hide the facts. Rubbish and flat false is their reply, as a matter of fact the reply proves the point. Rude is not funny. Its just Rude. This has to be the very worst location of this chain in Montreal Service is unfriendly borderline rude This is also the first location where I was served 1 toast with my breakfast every other has been 2. When asked if we wanted refill on the coffee and said yes, they came with a full pot and filled literally half an ounce claiming it was a joke fail to see what was / is funny. Train your staff to be professional.This location needs to clean up their act.

The food was fresh but quite pricey for what I ordered. The restaurant is small so lots of noise and line ups. After we ate we were asked to leave to make room for other customers. If you want to have a nice time with friends and relax this is not the place. They are too busy so be ready to eat and leave.

Had a wonderful experience here with a medium sized group. The waiter was very friendly, service was quick and the coffee was hot. The food was great and we enjoyed the various mix and match dishes they have (sweet and savory). Overall a delightful breakfast and we plan to return next time were in the area.

Its not that it wasnt good. But the food is very ordinary for the price, and the service was underwhelming until the bill. This is when our waitress started listing ALL the things she takes care of, clearly trying to get us to give more tip... It was decent, and I wouldnt mind going back to meet a friend if they suggested the place, but I definitely wouldnt make a detour to go back. Edited to add as a response to management comment : it speaks volumes that your responses to all bad or mediocre reviews is to blame the client or jump to blaming your staff instead of trying to see if theres a trend and working on that. My experience was disappointing all the way through, and the waitress asking for tip was one example amongst others. I have no interest in getting someone who may have just had an off day fired. My review stands. Its not bad but its not great either.

Very Bad!!!!!!!!!!! i went on sunday, october 3rd, 2021 with my family for a nice brunch day. I had the poutine called maria and the meat in there tasted odd. The meat tasted a mix of sour and rotten. I assumed it was the sauce on the meat, however it was in fact the actual meat. On sunday evening, I had a stomachache and I felt nauseous. Later, during the evening, I was vomitting when the only thing I ate was at their restaurant. Out of good intentions for the restaurant, I called the restaurant and advised the manager on duty that the meat was bad. I did not ask for a refund, but simply for the restaurant to be aware of their expired products. I was concerned for the other clients that will be ordering the poutine maria. However. instead of the manager understading the situation.. she answered Well I had the same meat and I wasnt sick The manager took this situation as a joke. The way she responded was completely as if she did not care. She was rude. I would have given the food another chance, however due to the lack of customer service provided by the manager, I refused to step foot into that restaurant.

Been here a couple of times. Always had an okay experience, except today. Decided to try their french toast. Two of the french toast were undercooked. Only the edges were edible. The third was weirdly hard and crunchy. Kept waiting for the waiter to pass by to ask how the food was but he only came to the table when my boyfriend was done with his food.

Great food, busy but nice and friendly staff. Try any plate with the crepe, and the potato mash is great!

Excellent food.

Busy breakfast place, tons of menu to overwhelmed you. Fun smoothies selections. A bit disappointing for my dish. I ordered poutine breakfast. Too much potatoes with less garnishe of the veggies. All I have was overflow plated of potatoes, with eggs, hollandaise sauce and a few veggies on top.

If you prefer not too salty then I ll recommend this restaurant for you.

It was SUPER, SUPER fast to get a table and to receive the food after ordering it. The waiter was really nice with us, explained everything and he speaks Portuguese, besides English and French!!! Unfortunately we didnt get his name. Food is GIGANTIC and really good. Fruits were fresh and diversified. Looking forward to taste their milkshakes with shots!!!

I dont go very often, but its always worth the trip. I highly recommend it.
