They have a very good customer service…… I really liked their food….. they have delicious cuisines….. I recommend everyone to must visit this place
On my hunt for the best pho in Montreal I've decided to give this place a try. The woman in charge was pretty direct and rough, but i like a strong character so i played along. As for the food, I ordered some peanut dumplings and fresh rolls. The fresh rolls were good, not the greatest but good. The dumplings were not very flavorful, just didn't taste right. The peanut sauce is probably the worst I've had so far, it was super diluted, missing the crunchy peanuts, and not a single dash of spice. Now on to the pho! I keep comparing the pho I taste to what I consider the best place in town: Pho Lien. That place is at the top of my list and is unbeaten thus far. Pho Zui Zui is now way down my list, the condiments were bad, the soup was mediocre, it just had nothing on its competitors. It's a skip for me unfortunately.
Ate here for the first time in September 2024. Ordered the spring rolls and the #13 pho with rare and well done beef. The service: amazing. Very attentive and polite The atmosphere: small and clean The food: i found the spring rolls had literally 1 whole shrimp inside that was cut in half to make it look like more. My shrimp still have the shell attached... i would not order them again. The large Pho was large. It had the most meat i have had in a Pho soup ever. The broth was ok, not the most flavorful but the quantity more than you could ask for. Overall a decent lunch and I would eat here again...
I got the special number 11. Beef Pho. It was incredibly delicious. I came back to eat it again and I definitely see myself coming back here with family and friends. Price for food is a very good deal. I hope they keep their prices the same. The vibe is mellow, the shop is petite but cozy. The service is not bad and staff are extremely caring.
We were craving pho on our way home to Toronto from Montreal. Ordered the grand rare beef pho. Portion was quite generous for both noodles and beef. The beef could have came out more raw so it can cook in the soup. Garnishes were lemon and cilantro instead of lime and basil. Broth was OK, could have been more flavourful.
Good place for Pho. Huge portions. Order one size down. I had the beef chicken and rice noodles. Big portion which I didn’t finish. The have awesome spring rolls.
Food was good and tasty. Decent sizing/amount. You will be leaving the restaurant full. Small shrimp wonton for appetizer is a must try! We thought their water tasted weird though.
A great discovery in the west side! this place was cozy, very welcoming. The staff very friendly! We were a party of five, and we all liked the food, we ordered some shrimp spring rolls (very freshly made) and each a bowl of pho all-dressed. Their broth is so freagin tasty, not sure how to describe it. Im definitely going back! thank you little update on April 3rd 2024: here again for the evening at my favorite place for a delicious pho noodles❤️
Portion size extremely generous compared to other pho spots nearby. Delicious broth.
Great Pho with generous amount of meat. IMO The best in the west island. If you fridge the broth, itll turn gelatinous, a sure sign of great broth made with meat and bones.
2024 Drop to 1 star its really meh soup imo now. Oct 2019 Place was packed and had a line up. Glad i got there in time. The pho has gone back up to its former self .. guess it was an off day last time i went. Best pho in the west island. July 2019 Been recently. I find the taste of the Pho went down a notch. Not as good as I remember December 10th 2018 update - still amazing! New place!! Best pho in the West island!! Good price. Super fresh!! Good portions!! Very happy I took a chance!
The Phô was deliciously filled with tons of veggies and meat. Awesome flavor. The steamed buns are a hard, nope. Fast dine in service as yooj with Asian restaurants. Typical no nonsense server...never warm and fuzzy, you already know how it is before you go in! I wish they would let you order the Banh Mi when you dine in.
Great place for a quick recharge! Woohoo!
My family go to place for Pho soup! Best quality and quantity! We always come out very full and satisfied. The owner always appreciate us when we come they have seen my kids grow thats how much we like their food.
Best place in town for Pho soup! Very generous portions and courteous service!
Best Pho in town.
what a great spot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! foods cheap, tastes good, and portions are insane. the pho bowl itself is just inexplicably unfathomably humongous i also recommend if youre ever in the area to also take some banh mis for takeout. the spicy version isnt that spicy (they only put like 3 tiny slices of chili across the whole sandwich)
Good food always, going for years.
Simply delicious! Restaurant is on the small side, giving it a cozy vibe. Food
Food is good but the owner lady is very rude....really need to improve customer service. I am never going back there just for the way the lady talked to me...she clearly have soo much hatred in herself and it is very sad.. i pity the indian lady that works there I feel bad the way the owner lady talks to her
I love this place. Soup is the best when you get sick
The best soup Ive ever had
Their pho broth isnt as flavorful as I remember and are lacking in herbs and other garnishes. The banh mi are superb, the best for miles around.
The pho is absolutely amazing. The broth is top tier and Im not even joking. Left my long standing relationship with another pho place because the broth was so good. Service is always fast and the soup is steaming
Place was better before Seems like the recipe or quality of ingredients changed I wish them the best in their future
Excellent pho. Best in the West Island
Unfortunately, the place got worse not the same as 3 years ago
Best bánh mi sandwiches in the Montreal West Island!
RESTAURANT CLOSED. Sunday April 28 2024 - they are closed until like mid-May or something business really should update their Google page and opening hours.
Worth every penny Delicious
Pho pho zui is very good restaurants I eat Here the soup is very Good the owner is the restaurants is very good the atmosphere is very good
Average food, lady at counter taking phone orders has an attitude
Their pho is unmatched, very generous with meat. I took the XL pho and couldn t finish it and there was still meat in my bowl! Banh mi sandwiches are also yummy!
I came to try because I saw someone recommending this place. Pho was really good, the broth was rich and meat was generous, but.... I found a hair in a tendon, and the lady said that is normal, that some tendons comes with hair (never heard that before)and she even laugh at it trying to make it funny. Then my husband wanted to try the banh mi, and guess what??? You cant eat your banh mi in the restaurant, only take out, so he had to go outside to eat standing while I was eating my pho, something that make me doubt to come back.
Very good value. The Pho is twice as big as the other guy for the same price.
Pho-get about looking any further for that authentic bowl of steamy hot goodness. The west island tends to be very cookie cutter but this place is that one needle in the haystack that takes you by surprise. The soup, that perfectly grilled chicken, mouth watering broth and the side imperial rolls; every portion big or small is jam packed with quality and generosity. Dont change a thing and Ill be returning pho sure!
This is a great spot to go for pho. The portions are huge, the broth is tasty, and there is so much food in one bowl!!! Freshest ingredients make for an amazing pho. Highly recommended!
Best pho in the West Island
I went to Vietnam in 1966 with the American army. The cuisine at VN is exquisite. If I go to this area of QC, I have to go there.
I love Pho Zui Zui! Been going to this place for several years now. Everything is so delicious, my favorite is the roasted chicken Pho soup excellent service, very clean and friendly, great prices. Recommended dishes
Love this place, pho is always nice and hot and its very delicious. Chicken rice is very fragrant and tender, noodles are great also!
I tried this place following a recommendation from a colleague. I just found THE place for banh mi sandwiches. We liked it so much that 3 days later, we went back to order 2 more. For $7, you get a 12-inch sandwich, freshly prepared with crunchy vegetables. We also tried the grilled chicken and dry noodle dish and for the price, we had a very large portion. Tonight, Im trying the Tonkinese soup with grilled chicken and vegetables. For now, its perfect!
Our two year old loved the food
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant ever for the whole family!! Everything is miam miam si yummy. The owners are the nicest!
Super tasty pho and generous portions. They also have Bahn mi sandwiches. Small downsides... bit of an odd smell in the resto last time I was there and the staff could stand to be a bit more friendly. They arent at all rude, but dont smile or act like they are in the hospitality industry. Ill be back for the phone anyway. Overall totally a worthwhile spot.
Large portions, packed with meat and delicious flavor. Not much room, didnt want to eat inside but took my food to go. The woman serving us was a little rude but I hope its because she was busy.
Generous serving of a hearty hot soup
Best pho in the West island in my opinion quality price and portion are generous.
I ordered Pho with vegetables and grilled chicken. It tastes phenomenal. Sometimes, I ordered egg rolls with salad and fried bananas. In general, the food was fantastic and the restaurant was super clean. The waitress was friendly.
The portion are generous but food is very bland. Fills a need, no more.
Very good flavor and a good quantity for the price. Very nice place to go with family and friends.
Been going here for years, always delicious and amazing!
The pho tasted authentic and was filling. Service was okay. We also got some Banh Mi to go which was not as fresh as wed like because the protein was microwaved again to heat up. The bread was also hard but for the price though it was a pretty large size.
Honestly VERY good food for a VERY fair price! Love this place and the staff is friendly!!
The best place to go. Food is amazing, the portions are great and the service is unparalleled. Definitely recommend everyone to go try it out.
Generous portions
had a large pho and even though i cant complain about the taste, I had a terrible migraine the rest of the day which has never happened to me and felt dehydrated. Id guess its linked to the quantity of MSG used.
Absolutely unfriendly, meat smells fishy, Even after 20 minutes, the food did not come out and I had to pay the amount that was forced to enter a 15% tip when paying by card. I didnt want to tip them even 1%.
The pho from this place might be good but its banh mi sandwich leaves much to be desired. We recently ordered banh mi chicken and beef sandwiches from their place and all I can say is everywhere we have tasted were all better than sandwiches from this place. The service is quick. We called ahead to order for take-out and by the time when we arrived, the sandwiches were ready for us. The portion is huge. When you are finished with the sandwich, you are really stuffed. First the chicken sandwich, they use grilled chicken meat as the filling and the meat is totally burned and it leaves a very unpleasant charred taste in the mouth and I had to cut away large amount of charred portion from the chicken. And in the banh mi, you are supposed to put carrots in their to add a bit of sweet taste and the carrots were missing from the two chicken sandwiches that we ordered so the taste was very one-dimensional and bland with charred saltiness. The portion was big so there was just huge amount of bland saltiness. And then the beef sandwich, the beef sandwich is a tad better than the chicken one in that its well-flavoured and they used non-grilled meat but the meat is too dry and too hard. So in conclusion, if you go to this place, just order its pho but do NOT buy their sandwiches.
Sandwiches and bbq chicken are really good
too much for the hype. nothing special really. okay but not great. not bad for a quick pho when you re far from Côte-des-neiges where the really good pho restos are located.
Great place for if you enjoy Vietnamese Pho!
X- Large, plenty of meat
Wow best Pho soup, like in Vietnam. Everything was excellent. I went back twice in three days!!
FANTASTIC. Amazing portion to cost and drink selection. Service is typical, but good.
Food was delicious and excellent value. With the price of take out going up everyday. It is nice to see a restaurant that is offering quality food at a reasonable price. We will be back again for sure.
Very good pho with very good service. Good portion and affordable price!
You can t go wrong at Pho Zui Zui! Food is always on point, prices are reasonable, and the service from this family establishment gives us added reason to come back just about every week!
The food here is always delicious
Horrible customer service lady is so rude , not nice she is losing so many customers very mean threw the food and left and the whole pho spilled. Disgusting don t recommend at all and I will be doing a chargeback for my 2 phos with the bank idc what it takes me I will make sure. I ve noticed this lady everytime I come and this is it horrible please do not go to this business they deserve to shut down and go out of business
My go to Pho joint
Very good food! The place is small but the food his delicious
Meal was excellent, the portions are large and very filling. Its worth every penny. Kid-friendliness: Owners were very nice and accommodating.
Very good restaurant I recommend the grilled chicken soup with vegetables wow a real good 5/5 and their Banh Mi sandwish is its tick burrrr
Very good soup. The brought is very salty and tasty (as it should). Good customer service and very generous portions.
Bland food, cheap, stay away
Best pho on the West Island!
Best spot around for a very good and wholesome Pho soup! Friendly, efficient staff and a super tasty Pho!
Bad customer service, the waitress was mean since we first arrive. She yelled at me and my son and blame us for the pile of plates that went on the floor because the table is broken. My son was traumatized. Never ever going back to this place again!
How wonderful
How wonderful
their banh mi is delicious, specially the beef spicy one
Great food, huge portions and reasonably priced
Very nice owners, great soupes and options.
Always delicious and friendly.
Excellent Tonkinese soup and very good spring rolls. Only downside and its a big one for me. Unable to be served in French. Not even a yes or no and even less a thank you. Damage. We liked it but it will be a one shot deal as our English friends would say.
Excellent pho, very good Vietnamese sandwich (banh mi) and quick service!
Awesome Vietnamese sandwich ( called Bánh mì or Banh Mi ). Very good, and quite sizeable. Worth a visit and try.
Pho was delicious! Large portions and cheap; even the small was a lot for me, highly recommend sharing with someone. Will definitely come again. Spring rolls were nothing special. Service could be improved but whatever.
Found it thanks to Googles suggestion and I dont regret it. My Tonkinese soup was very good and a good price, I even took a portion home. Thank you
Food is OK at best. Nothing extraordinary but we are in the West Island, not Villeray. I ate there in 2021 and the owner lady seemed annoyed that we spent over $100 eating there. I am trying to support local business during pandemic. Fast forward to Oct 2023 thinking people change. I called for takeout (2 x pho, dumplings, rolls, fried banana, etc.) and she yelled at me when I asked the price for a pho. With her beautiful FOB accent: Wat you want, $12, $14, $15. WAT YOU WANT!. I told her no need to yell the price, she hung up, lol. I am Vietnamese and I can only imagine the way she treats non-vietnamese people! This place reminds me of an episode in Seinfeld, you know which one I am talking about!! Good luck people!!!
The lady who always answer the phone is always in a hurry. Cannot talk to her properly. Sometimes shes rude. Its not the first time i order there but shes always rushing.
Our go to Pho spot in the West Island! We love Pho Zui Zui! Their broth is so delicious with deep rich flavours! We also order their fried rolls which are excellent! All very good and nothing beats the price! We wish they would serve Thai basil with the soups instead of cilantro, however still does the job. Service is quick and friendly as they know our order every time we go :). My kids are obsessed and so are we!
Clean place. Lunch felt a bit rushed service wise. Food quality was decent but not as much taste expected from a pho veg soup. Would probably return. Vegetarian options: Minimal veg options.
Stale and unclean food, avoid
Only gotten bah mi from there. Theyre bah mi is pretty good but its not consistent. There are times weve gotten them and they werent as good as the time before and other times its heaven in a sandwich!! Best to call and order before getting there especially for the bahmi as its a 20 minute wait. Not sure if its a language barrier or anything but the staff arent the most welcoming.
Excellent restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! So far, is the best ph soup I have ever had. The place is small, so no good for large parties. Food
Love love love this place. Prices are reasonable and food taste great.
the best Tonkinese soup in Montreal, Laval etc, its really good! you will not be disappointed!!! try it!!!
Bad customer service & blant pho I suggest other places than going here The employees are rude and have no manners in assisting customers. When we ask for help, the employee makes a loud *sigh* and rolls her eyes???? Food : 1/5
Friendly owners, delicious food, good prices, clean kitchen. What else could you need? :)
The only time in my life where I felt a hint of disappointment over a bowl of Tonkinese soup was in a small Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a semi-basement near Concordia University. My annoyance was not about the taste, but rather the parsimony of the noodles, meats and toppings. A few thin floating slices of meat for a D c Bi t? Frankly ! For the rest, the flavors always seemed similar to me. We could put my nose in the dock, the same nose that is not quite equipped to fully appreciate the nuances of wine. I am taking this explanatory detour to urge you not to ask me one day for a list of the best pho in town, but also to take that of Pho Zui Zui as a counter-example to the parsimony of the other: good big pieces of meat with abundant noodles. So, if youre craving Pho soup and youre nearby, a big bowl of this one at $14 should do just fine! By the way, their huge banh mi at $7 will give you a better length/price ratio than a sub in a chain near you. Again, in terms of preparation, we remain traditional, and as a result, it remains a very satisfying product, both for the taste buds and for the stomach. I didnt take the time to describe the atmosphere to you, dont hold it against me! I have not had any observations worthy of sending to you. Well, okay, let me give you my impressions in a nutshell: Humble. I recycle the same term for service. In short, we come for soup (and maybe a banh mi) and we leave satisfied. Mission accomplished? I believe so. Vegetarian options: Vegetable soups, among others Parking: Several places for the shopping center. Kid-friendliness: Yes. In the sense that it is a food accessible to all palates. Wheelchair accessibility: Heavy doors to open, not easy to use.
We went to Pho Zuizui on Friday December 15th around 5 p.m. The waitress who is always there is very racist. She refuses a very simple request, with a lot of bad attitudes. Every time we go there she seems so stupid. After observing it with the other customers she makes an effort but when she turns towards us she looks stupid. She really does it on purpose. She is really not nice to customers who have darker skin. She is really very unpleasant!
Great pho, healthy food, fast service, honest price
Excellent and generous portions
Best bahmi sandwiches in montreal! My to go place always!
The food was excellent. Really impressed. Well be definitely going back again. The best vietnamese beef sandwich Ive had, and Ive had a few around Montreal. The pho soup was perfect. I cant get over how tender the meat is. Also, the price is reasonable. I really think you can stop looking for restaurants now, go try some Pho Zui Zui. Enjoy.
Good pho soup
The best and affordable food ever
Very good and flavourful food! Quality!!!
Best Pho restaurant on the whole island! Trust me, Ive tried a lot and this one is the tastiest
Good value for money
Finally found a place that offer Bahn mi in the West Island. The portion/price ratio is good and the sandwiches are really tasty. Many choices are available too. I recommend this place.
Excellent Asian sandwich, good value for money...
Super good Excellent value for money. Fast service.
Bad service and bad food
This is the soup that I drink the worst time in my life. The attitude of the servers is bad. When I walked in the waiter ignored me which I stood for 10m. I advise you to go to the other pho restaurant which is just 1.4 km from this restaurant. This is the soup I drank the worst time in my life. The attitude of the waiters is bad. Best restaurant ever, love love love love love
Pretty good Pho.
good restaurant with good food with amazing service
Ordered Pho...it was very good and good portion/price. Very friendly and welcoming service.
Best food ever
This is my favorite pho restaurant! The price is right , the quality is high and the people who work there are very friendly. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place for a simple family dinner. The owner and waiters are very nice and friendly. Their soup was amazing: real tasty beef soup. I will rate this as the top one in Montreal.
Very good place for authentic Vietnamese pho
A little disappointed....I was served with a sandwich whose bread was heated in the microwave...not very fresh Not pleasant waitress
Great service and food is always fresh and delicious
Love the phos here. Truly tasty! *edit* Even though the soups are the best, won t be coming back anymore, customer service from the lady on the phone and in the restaurant is extremely rude, impatient and mean.
Very bad service
Im sorry in my opinion this was the worst pho Ive ever had . Same for the peanut butter dumplings. Pho thanh down the street is much better.
Great place to eat, always friendly great service, the soups are outstanding, especially PHOs and sandwiches are out of this world.
The good is good but the service the lady needs to work on it
They have it all! Even Vietnamese sandwich all in one location AND the food is good and decent priced. My new fav place for Pho and sandwich =) Oh! And free parking, no need to go downtown anymore. ;)
Very good cuisine. He should think about expanding the restaurant and hiring more staff.
BEST PHO in all of MONTREAL ! The portions and quality is the best! I bring my family all the time!
Service was friendly, timely and more importantly the soup was delish. So much pork!!! Mmm, mmm, mmm!! Highly recommend.
One of the best Pho in the West Island. The food is very tasty, portions are generous and also fairly priced.
I dream of the large rare beef tonkinoise soup. Best Pho in the west. Im happy every time I go back.
One of the best pho Ive eaten!
Delicious Pho! Try the raw beef ;)
Big portions, and it was delicious!
It was delicious. There is a lot of it. Be sure to buy and try the banh mi sandwich.
We ve visited Pho Zui Zui a few times in the last year. The pho is good but the poor customer service we receive always leaves me feeling uncomfortable. Asking for basic things such as napkins or whether the banh mi sandwiches can be eaten in store lead the owner to berate you. I wouldn t recommend this place to anyone, and after our experience today, will not be returning.
Its really difficult to find good Vietnamese food in the West-island. After trying them all out from Beaconsfield to Dorval, Zui Zui is the best but not without flaws. First the food is excellent and prices are decent. Service is what youd expect for a Vietname restaurant, meaning pretty dry and humorless. Same for the decor, ugly and uninspired. But realistically, I dont mind much. The only thing that I find absolutely unacceptable is their water. I dont know what it is but their water taste horrible. Im not sure if its their plastic glasses that arent clean, or the pitcher, or just their old pipe anyways, this is disgusting. Ive been there many times and each time they bring their blue plastic glasses Im grossed out. Zui Zui, if you read this, address the situation. Get filtered water, store it in a clean and cold place and serve it in clean glasses, not plastic cups.
Kid-friendliness: Good service and the soups are definitely delicious
Love it! Great hospitality and amazing service food is delicious always friendly love to go there I would recommend 100%
Really simple, hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant. Very good and friendly service, huge portions and very good tasting. Well definitely come back. Parking: Mall parking lot with plenty of spots.
First visit but last . I spend over 100 $. but ask me extra 10% tip! For what? He wasn.t helper, He is the owner. and sauce wasn.t good. It seems add water and too much veniger. I.m not recomend.
Best pho in the west island
Best grilled chicken Pho ever wow.
Amazing hole on the wall. Super fast and delicious.
The restaurant serves delicious pho and have very good portions. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is a bit basic but it feels like home and very relaxed.
Very small but very good and inexpensive!
Nice atmosphere and staff but the food had no flavor and is cheap. If you love pho I dont recommend eating if from here.
The food is just okay but the service is very bad. The owner was so rude to us. I would have given zero star if there were an option.
The owner is rude.
I absolutely love this place. Family run restaurant they are really nice.
This is a great little pho place! We got the shrimp and veggie one to go. They packed everything so well, no mess and easy to mix everything together when we got home. It s great value for the price, I had some of the broth left over for lunch the next day. The ladies that work there are so sweet and friendly too. Definitely recommend checking this place out!
No taste no sauce included in take out Very unusual to miss the vermicel taste like this. Also chopsticks and plastic fork very thin low quality.
So good.
Good service. Fair price. Delicious food.
So I saw the reviews before trying this place. I Saw 5 star for the flavor, 1star for service. But I had the opposite experience. I will give this a 3 star but here is a break down Service 5 STAR. the gentlemen was VERY NICE. GREAT SERVICE. However, I can see that the woman owner can be bad for many customers. Luckily we had the guy. We saw her roll her eyes with another client at cash. Quantity 5 STAR. WOW just amazing quantity. Ive been to many vietnamese restaurants but these quantity were like from 10 years ago. They dont cheap out here. PRICE 4 STAR. VERY FAIR. comparable to other places. FLAVOR 2 STAR. We had Pho, Bank MI, rice and vermicelli dishes but all lacked flavor. The soup needs more beef flavor. Banh MI more pate or some sort of salt pepper at least, vermicelli and rice I dont know how to correct it. Maybe more flavor on the meat or a bit of something. We will try it out another time for a fair judgment.
Very good food and service love them
Very good and fresh. I took the beef sandwich it was tasty and chewy
Their pho was good, fried ice cream was great, until I felt myself biting into a piece of plastic Service was trash for a place that was not busy at all. We asked for a small tray for our sauces and more lime and he had quite an attitude -_-
Our first visit and super content. The portions are huge. We ordered a beef banh mi and grilled beef/chicken rice plate. The prices are awesome too!
