Panera Select has started a new concept since July 2018, as a Dine, Drink and Dance center for groups and families who would like to spend long happy hours tasting variety of charcoal grills at affordable prices, while drinking and dancing to their own selected musics.
I attended a special Iranian ceremony at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was not pleasant. The restaurant had oversold tickets for the event, resulting in overcrowding and discomfort. Upon arrival, we had trouble finding parking as the designated spots were already full. The restaurant was unable to keep up with the number of guests, and we didn't see any staff members attending to the tables. Consequently, dirty dishes and trash piled up quickly, making the environment unpleasant. To make matters worse, the music was turned up too loud in the end, which felt like the restaurant was trying to rush us out. Suggestions for improvement: Capacity management: The restaurant should ensure that the number of tickets sold matches the restaurant's capacity, preventing overcrowding and discomfort for guests. Staff management: Adequate staff should be available to attend to tables, clean up, and ensure the overall smooth running of the event. Parking management: The restaurant should have a parking management system in place, such as a valet service or a nearby parking lot. Music management: The restaurant should monitor the volume of the music, ensuring that it doesn't become too loud, creating discomfort for guests. I hope this helps!
The food was very delicious, tender and juicy. I ordered the bargh; very authentic persian cuisine. Service was timely and the staff is so kind. I have been here a few times and it is always amazing. A special thank you to Mrs. Fatema for always being so wonderful and providing excellent service.
Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience. We had two of their plates. Chenjeh and Koobideh. None of them was good and they charged us more than you can see in their menu, which we didn't understand why!!! I had the Chenjeh, no fried vegetables or tahdig, which they have written on their menu. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
Really unpleasant experience. quality of food was average and if you consider food quality vs price, it is gonna worst. even when I compare restaurant, food and price with other competitors in same area, it is very hard to give a good rating. The only pros of this restaurant is their staff. they treated really good with us and I liked it.
Very good service, nice staff, good quality!!! We got “Kebab kubideh” and “Chenjeh”. The “Chenjeh” was very tasty and juicy. This original taste of kebab which you can’t find easily in other Iranian restaurants. It was well-cooked and the smell was good too. The green salad was included on the meal(sometimes a soup/ash is included) And after the meal we were served with a glass of tea. By the way, we ordered home-made processed olives (zeytun-parvardeh) which i think is a must , with kebab. About the ambient : Big but yet cozy. Iranian pop music was playing, the restaurent decoration is beautiful and clean (red and white), a beautiful green view by the window at one side, and there is a big bar. (you can not bring your wine) Although it is located in west island ( a little bit far), but it was totally worth it. I definitely recommend it to meat lovers & Kebab lovers.
I visited this restaurant on August 2018, Friendly staff, but not professional in customer service. I ordered a glass of wine, came back after 30 minutes and told me their got run out of it. Not very professional in taking the orders and when he brought our food, was confused to find who has ordered what . The kebab was shorter than the standard size, but the taste was okay. The music was okay. That will be my last visit.
You can enjoy Persian cuisine in this restaurant recently opened in DDO. I enjoyed the special kabab (mixed of chicken and beef) including "Ash" as a delicious appetizer. There is still room to improve the restaurant but in overall a place worth to visit and enjoy delicious foods. It is spacious and has a small stage for party and those who want to organize a group or family event.
Good persisn restaurant with huge dance floor. Good live music. Good food. Movafagh bashid.
You take the road then at the end it is closed yet on Google it shows that they are open
For parties are ok . The issue with this restuarant is lake of stability on food quality. Sometimes is 5 star sometimes cant get 2
Food was perfeact
Simply lovely place to dine in
The food here is overpriced and of very poor quality. Not only was the food bad but the service was even worse. They brought water to our table with no cups and we had to wait 30 minutes for them to bring one simple item to our table. I found rocks in my food and the manager didn t even bother to give us a discount. No human with self respect should ever eat at this so called restaurant .
I am executive chef with 17 years experience and teaching .The food is terrible, low quality and too expensive for what you get .I hope they gonna fix it or find better cook
Just terrible, nothing more
Worst Persian Restaurant in Montreal.
Food was ok i give 3 star from 5 but service management atmosphere 1 from 5 Very loaded music kids play and jump like ParcRonald at Mcdonald s i was not expecting to see that
Management was 2 hours late. Terrible service. Then arguing in front of guests. Keep it classy.
Great service received from them. A1 food

I have checked most of the persian restaurants in Montral and panera selects kabab has been the best. The quality of meat, its taste and smell was well... it was delicate and well cooked...also the fair price considering the quality. Thank you panera select

Worst experience ever. Ordered the delux combo for 3. It arrived late, cold and tasted like very cheap meat. Stay away!! You are better off ordering from chateau kabab. Very bad service!!

It s one of finest restaurant in west island community located at the heart of Dollard des Ormeaux, the price , quality , cleanliness and service is fantastic
I went to this place for the first time tonight. A great spacious restaurant with friendly staff. Their Kabab Koobideh is authentically delicious. I would definitely go there again.
Very friendly atmosphere, good food and excellent music
The best Iranian restaurant ever. Very very good quality food and incredibly nice staffs and owners. Really loved and enjoyed the time I was there. I love this restaurant and I suggested to all of my friends also. Really happy to have this restaurant in Montreal.
Most amazing Persian food in Montreal and excellent staff. Will definitely go again.

Great authentic Persian food and friendly staff. Will go again!
Good Persian food, welcoming staff
Quality food and good service
Amazing taste
Above average quality of food for the price and best value on bottle service in town .
A hidden gem in West Island! We had an incredible night in Panera Select. First of all, the owners are super polite and friendly and they welcome you personally when you enter! They serve the food themselves as well. They have mainly Persian food including several type of kebabs. The food is really good (specially Chenjeh) and you can have free soup and tea as much as you want. The price was very reasonable. On fridays they have live music and people dance after dinner, really fun! I would absolutely go there again and recommend it to others. Just a comment for the owners if they read this, the music was a little loud. I would suggest more relaxing music with a lower volume.
So far the best Iranian restaurant in town! Very friendly and kind owners, the food was very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend
, awful , dirty
Friendly staff, fantastic food! Particularly, Mr. Shahram! Mr. Shahram, we love you!
Super excellent very nice place
Great selections, eggs of your choice, great coffee, service with a smile!
Relatively new breakfast place on the West Island. On the weekend they serve a breakfast buffet from 7-15h. A mix of traditional breakfast fare and Persian cuisine. Delicious rice dishes. Very friendly staff.
Quiet, friendly staff, good food
I think the breakfast buffet here is great!
Great first experience
Impeccable service, magnificent buffet. Best wishes
