I came here thinking that the CHICKEN soup or the veggie soup would not have pork in them, but I was told by the OWNER that “if I don’t eat pork I shouldn’t come eat here”, in the worst attitude possible. Not only that they don’t put that on the menu, to be treated like that by the owner is extremely disrespectful. Are they racist to muslims or are they just ignorant? If you have allergies then don’t even imagine coming here. Not having written on the menu is one thing, but being told that if I have a certain food restriction I shouldn’t come eat here is another. Absolutely disgusting.
The soup tastes delicious and the noodles are in good portion. However, I hope there's more fresh meat. There are only a few slices of fresh meat and supplements with some SPAM meat. making me wishing for more.
I really love the idea of individual hotpots. They initially serve a platter with a variety of condiments to put in your soup. The soup is still boiling when it is served, and its heat is conserved for a very long time. Tasty and refreshing broth at an affordable price. The fried rice is also very good. They add a generous amount of meat to it, and there is wok hay to the rice.
Refreshing bubble Teas and the Lamb coriander dumplings were so delicious! It was my road meal going back to Ontario and I wish I bought more! Love this spot, so glad they are on the West Island:)
**edit: I always appreciate restaurant replying with good info. Thank you for that. It’s good for new customers to know their fried rice is a small portion size. Went to this place near my work. I was craving some Asian food and saw there was a place near that had good reviews. I decided to try it out. After ordering my food, they packed it in a brown paper bag, and when I picked up my food I felt the bag was a bit light. I ordered special fried rice and beef and broccoli. It was around 35$. And I usually find Asian restaurants very generous with their portion. When I got home, I opened my bag to only found out that they gave me a small bowl of fried rice. I was in disbelief. I paid 15$ for a small appetizer size of fried rice. It was very shocking to me to see how small it was and I was unsure if this was their “normal” size. There was a big difference between the amount of food between the bowls. It almost looked like leftover rice they had. I was not sure if that ruined my appetite but I also didn’t find it was worth the money. Unfortunately I will not be coming back here.
My most frequently visited restaurant in west island. The taste of the food is unrivaled and full of flavor. Service makes you feel as comfortable as at home and you have everything you need even before you ask. In cold weather, i definitely recommend this place.
I was impressed by the decoration style (chinese cultural elements) and clean tidy tables & chairs。the signature rice noodles taste really great & original. I will definitely come back . The bathroom is also very clean, but it would be more perfect if you put the cleaning stuff somewhere else.
Tried their signature 10 seconds noodles, it’s the concept like hot pot, had their fish marinated veggies soup, it’s spicy and good. My husband enjoyed the cold noodles with beef; it served with peanuts, marinated radish and cucumbers. The bubble tea is nice as well! Super friendly and helpful service!
The soup is really salty, I drink tans of water after eating it.
Food took longer than expected to be prepared but was not at all what I was expecting. Meal was egg noodles in a very soupy dish. Ill give another meal a shot in the future though. Food
Amazing soup I had. Definitely going back!
Interesting place, stingy with food. Reasonable taste, expensive.
Very good and delicious soup and noodles. I was so satisfied with their dish, so I brought all my family next visit. It was amazing also.
Portions are ridiculously small.. not even close to a baby menu and nothing looks like the pictures. Not recommended at all.
Food portions are very small, it looks like a kids menu.
Absolutely love the food and service here ! The waitress is very helpful when it comes to helping you choose what broth and explaining how it works. Food
Bad service and the attitude of the waitress is the rudest ever seen. Won t come back again!
Amazing food, great price. Hidden gem in the West Island. People should know more about this place. Definitely would go back.
So fresh and deliccccciiiiioooouuuus!!!!
Loved it as a personal hot pot place. Not all you can eat, but certainly fun to do. Its great if you need a quick snack
Yum
Its rare that I give an opinion on Google but sincerely this restaurant marked me their broth and the noodles were just delicious and wonderful and I cant wait to go back. The price is not enough for the quality and quantity of food. It s so GOOD
Youre buying the broth pretty much, like mini hot pot. The noodles and the toppings arent special. The broth is ok, you can get refill on the noodles, which is pretty cool.
We had their soup noodles. The star of the show are the broths. Both the chicken and standard (pork) tasted great. A decently satisfying and very homey meal. On the flip side of the coin, aside from the broth, you can just grab everything else in the noodles direct from the Asian grocery store. The bubble tea was good and the dumplings are very homey as well (not too much flavored, but very healthy and authentic).
Excellent. Fast.
Inexpensive Asian food, very tasty and good service! We eat at least twice a month. Parking: lots of parking spaces Kid-friendliness: Kids like it!
Very good, very suitable for family meals with children
Looking for something new? Try this noodle shop. Really good noodles for a reasonable price.
Very friendly server. Good food and the place is very pleasant. I forgot my to go food and the server run outside in a cold weather without a winter jacket to hand over my food. I was really impressed but at the same time felt bad for her! will surely comeback!
Seems very traditional food made the traditional way. But way too salty to me.
The ingredients are not fresh and the seasoning is heavy, like instant noodles
I love this place. The food and service is great and the prices are decent. It has a nice friendly and family vibe to it as well.
very good taste and the workers are very friendly
Ordered a chicken soup and a chicken and mushroom soup. Both contained very little chicken; just a boiled chicken leg that was very rubbery in one, and a few pieces of chicken in the other. The broth was murky. We paid an extra charge for vegetables to be added to the soups, but all we got was a few teaspoons of corn niblets. No broccoli, cabbage, or carrots, as expected. $44 for this disappointing meal for 2. Will not order again.
I was particularly disappointed today. The take-out milk tea was not given in bags. The tray was given with 3 cups of milk tea all over the place. I took it from the counter and one cup fell on the floor and spilled. I said I should give the bag, but the clerk said I would be fined for giving the bag. I didn t want to give it. As long as I have a drink, I will leave. I will bear it myself, but I will not go there again in the future.
Food tasted okay, however, felt the dried mouth & numb tongue for at least one hour after eating it.
Excellent food, friendly staff.
The service was excellent, the dishes generous and tasty. Totally affordable price. I had the fried pork and shrimp wontong entree, crispy and juicy wow. And as a starter I had the soup to share with my partner and we also shared a delicious beef teraki rice. And they have a range of bubble teas I tried the pineapple and coconut jelly A1
Well, apparently they dont follow any allergy protocols, like advising about nuts or shellfish because I ordered a soup which said nothing about shrimp and yet there was shrimp. Luckily my husband had started eating before me and spotted the shrimp and stopped me from eating mine. That would have been really unpleasant!!
Food was good, service was really nice
The soup noodle is good, but side dishes not so impressive. Service is the worst part. The waitresses lack basic training of courtesy. Felt unwelcome from the beginning till the end.
Every Saturday, the service sister is so beautiful and the service is attentive and thoughtful. I feel like I am back in China instantly! The pork belly and chicken rice noodles are particularly amazing
We love this place!! We must have it least once a week. The soup and noodles are delicious. Love the boba and sago options!
Authentic! We are addicted to this place.
I love this the original noodle soup and strawberry sago! I could eat this everyday(if I could)
It has always tasted like this, the classic hot and sour golden soup, and tomato rice noodles are children s favorites! The service is very good~
Best part of my week is coming here.Great food and service.
Best match! Noodle with bubble tea!
Guoqiao rice noodles are authentic. I haven t had them from my hometown for a long time. O( _ )OThank you.
The girl on Tuesday has such a great attitude. Highly recommended.
Good service from the lady
The lady who served on Tuesday was great! I love their rice noodles so much. It s perfect for eating with friends in winter.
The food is so delicious, especially the service is fantastic! I would definitely come back. The service from the lady on Tuesday today was great and super enthusiastic!
Best noodle in West Island!
just great
Friend-recommended and exceeded expectations, delicious noodle, excellent customer service.
Always fresh, generous portions and friendly staff. Will definitely be back :)
Technology and hard work plus prefabrication.
A culinary journey.scrumptious noodle, cozy ambiance, and friendly faces.
Foodies paradise delectable noodle, cozy setting, and friendly service. A definite revisit.
The taste is very good, the atmosphere is also good, the atmosphere and attitude , it is a very comfortable place to eat
I was going to give 4 stars but here s why I didn t: 1- the first time I went, the soup was epic, I went back a few days later, ordered the same exact dish and it was very disappointing, tasted different. So there s no consistency! 2- there s no change table in the bathroom so if you have kids, good luck lol Kid-friendliness: No change table in the bathroom
From ambiance to noodle, a delightful experience. Already planning my next dinner there.
Tried out this place for the first time after they opened. Looked very promising, great array of foods. Mango sago drink was refreshing and great, my favorite for sure. Popcorn chicken was also tasty but the portion is small for 8$. The negative is that they did not secure the takeout container for my noodle soup so all the broth spilled out.
There was really nothing to eat. The boss is unrealistic
Its a very good place. The soup is plentiful and tastes good. Finally, there is decent Chinese food in the West Island.
The store is clean, the food tastes good, and the drinks taste good too! Recommended
Pretty decent dumping place in DDO, just gets three stars since it s pretty expensive for what you get. I ll try a few more dishes in the future and adjust my rating accordingly. Worth checking out if you re in the area :)
The pickled fish was very salty, the rice noodles were not strong, and the chicken popcorn was dark with less meat and more skin. It felt like the oil must have been reused for a long time, and the portion was very small. Its a little bit worse than the store in Nanan, right?
Very traditional Chinese rice noodle, delicious soup and noodle, many choice soups no spicy/ light spicy / hot spicy, and free for adding noodle if you are big appetite like me. I prefer dry noodle with beef.
The rice noodles taste good, and so does the milk tea.
First experience of the noodles. The broath is actually very good. Although the quantity of condiments is limited, you get free Noodle refills if you dine-in. The bubble tea is definitely better than lots of other places Ive tried. Service was courteous and friendly!
I went there twice once with my friends and once with my family. The taste is amazing and very traditional. Service is good and the environment is enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to everybody!
Finally there is a delicious restaurant in West Island, I have to go there 1-2 times a week. The anti-scald tableware is very attentive, and free rice noodles are provided so you don t have to worry about not being full. You can also choose the spiciness level of the spicy rice noodles. The pickled fish and Sichuan-style minced meat are all very flavorful. The children choose the rice noodles with chicken legs, chicken soup and tomatoes, and you can change the taste to different flavors every time. The chicken popcorn and sweet potato fries are also delicious, you can add toppings, and all kinds of drinks are delicious. I am very satisfied with this store.
The rice noodles have a variety of side dishes, but I didnt taste the freshness of the ingredients. I dont know if its because the ingredients have been kept for too long or the store deliberately made it, which caused this situation. Also, I would like staff to wear mask.
The food I bought home to eat this time had no taste at all. Maybe the chef has changed.
Before, I had to drive to Brossard every time to get rice noodles. Now I drive to the West Island and the taste is the same. Applause.
family run restaurant with great service and food is amazing. The soup are large portion.
Need a soup on a cold day, this is the place. Fun Presentation, great staff. When a Chinese restaurant has 90% Asian clients, you know its good!
For west island, this is pretty decent. bubble tea also very good. go to place for a hot soup noodle!
Quick service and great food
The waitress was very rude and inconsiderate, we finally left without eating, and we will never come back again. When we went to the restaurant tonight, we hoped that the rice noodles we ordered would be less spicy, but the (middle-aged?) waitress who served us refused very arrogantly, claiming that if there is one pepper on the label, it will be one pepper. Two is two chili peppers, no less, and I emphasize that this is the boss s requirement. When we were here last time, a girl who served us told us that we could make it less spicy, and also gave us a less spicy version of rice noodles. We couldnt accept the waitresss arrogant and unreasonable service attitude, and finally left the restaurant without ordering. We will never go to this restaurant again.
Good food, good service
This store sometimes has some very rude waiters. They dont say hello to customers when they come in. There are obviously available seats, but because there are not enough seats for us, they make us wait for a seat at the bar without asking us if we want to sit at the bar. From the beginning to the end, they had no communication with us or even looked at us. We were treated like nothing, standing at the door waiting for a seat at the bar, while there were clearly two empty tables in the hall. The quality of the rice noodles and cold dishes is the same as that of the waiters, which is hit or miss. Im very upset with the customer service. If we show up as 1 or 2 people they will just give us the worst seats. People come and go fast in this place but they want to keep the better table for bigger group of guests and we had to sit at the bar while there were 2 tables not taken. what they care is only about money and numbers instead of the experience of every single customer.
Fish maw chicken soup is delicious and highly recommended. Pork belly chicken, green peppercorns, and hot and sour golden soup are all very good. Maocai is not recommended, it feels like hot pot base. The beef noodles are real, but the five-spice and star anise flavor is too strong. Children love wonton stew. Its great that you can refill rice noodles for free when dining in. The waiter was very nice and even asked us if we wanted more rice noodles. I am very satisfied with having this in the West Island.
I had tried the chicken soup noodle , the base is very tasty and rich; ingredients are fresh. It is thoughtful that they have a base cover to prevent accidental burns on the hot iron pot. We also ordered the bubble tea, it is good; only thing is that the cup is so skinny comparing to other bubble tea shop.
Amazing presentations and stands out from plenty other noodle shops in town. I strongly recommend any one of their specialty noodle soups. I picked the spicy fish flavour. Their milk teas are awesome too and I am very impressed by the one that comes with a combo of bubbles, grass jelly and pudding. Definitely coming back for more!
