3811 Boul. Saint-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9G 1X2, Canada
Japanese restaurant serving sushi & kitchen entrees in a casual setting with contemporary decor.
This is absolutely one of, if not the best, all you can eat sushi places in Montreal. Always consistent, always fresh and always fast & efficient service. From the sushi rolls to the fusion items, the beef ramen soup, the selection of tempura and more. Everything is worth a try. I cannot say enough positive things about Matsuno. Highly recommend!
Very nice food. Delivery to the table is very fast. Very fresh and delicious.
As of Saturday December 7th 2024: Mon-Thurs Dinner $37.99+tax Fri-Sun Dinner $40.99+tax I would say arguably top 3 all you can eat sushi in all of Quebec. The food comes out fast, servers are efficient and there is a large selection. Appetizers: They have a variety of appetizers that come out fast. They are decent but I prefer to focus on the sushi. Sushi: All the sashimi selections are really fresh. The pro move is to go all in on the sashimi. The nigiri has the same quality of fish and they don't abuse the rice. They have a variety of habdrolls and maki. Like the nigiri, I am glad they don't abuse the amount of rice and each piece is small and comes in 4's so you get to try different rolls. The only downside to the maki rolls is some rolls they add way too much sauces. It makes the presentation look nice but overwhelms your taste buds. Dessert: They have sesame balls and this hot sweet bread with condensed milk to go along multiple ice cream flavors. Get there early because usually there is a wait list. You have to sign up at a tablet and they will text you when you're table is ready.
This place was recommended by friends who dine at the restaurant often. I heard nothing but good things about the food that I had to tag along with them this past weekend. Boy, they were absolutely right. Quality for price - A1. Everything was fresh and delish. The place is always packed. Enough said. Check out the pics and dream on.
Too crowded, and better to reserve the table in advance. Atmosphere is so cool, the waitresses were too polite and fast! The variety of food is too big, and u can try everything! In general the food is good, tasty and flavored! Unfortunately I was done in 40 minutes 😅! For next time I will better come with more friends! Highly recommend!
Went there twice and loved it both times! There are so many sushi options and it’s fresh. I want to highlight Michelle, her service made the dining experience even better. She was very kind, witty and fun to interact with. She definitely deserves a raise. I’ll be coming back for sure and I recommend. P.S. My girlfriend probably finished the ice cream stock (it was delicious).
Been going there for the last 4 years now always amazing, service great the staff are very nice and the food is great, just pass by the place on the weekend in the evening and you’ll see the lineup they have. Never disappointed always good. Totally recommend
One of the better AYCE sushi restaurants in town. Most of the food item were delicious, besides the wonton soup. Don’t get the wonton soup. Service was great but we had to kept on waiting on someone for napkins.
We had an amazing dining experience at Matsuno Sushi Fusion! This all-you-can-eat restaurant offers a fantastic variety of sushi and other dishes, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The menu is diverse, with plenty of options to suit every taste from classic maki rolls to creative fusion specialties. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to deliver orders. I was impressed with how accurate and prompt they were, even during a busy dinner rush. The atmosphere was inviting and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Everything I tried was delicious, beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The price is reasonable for the quality and variety you get, making it a fantastic value. I highly recommend Matsuno Sushi Fusion for anyone looking for a top-notch all-you-can-eat sushi experience. We definitely be coming back! Vegetarian options: Yes
Super quick and food was fire
Came here for a Christmas party from my work. 19 December, 2024. Pros: 1) Sushi and most of the food is good. 2) The Interior has a nice vibe and atmosphere. 3) The washrooms are clean and they maintain it good. 4) Most of employees are bilingual but they need to improve their English and French. 5) The service is decent at times but they need to improve on that. Cons: 1) They charge 15% if you are more than 6 people and you must pay them 15%. 2) Parking is quite difficult to find especially on busy times and days. 3) Some sushi and some things were a little salty and some sushi were breaking apart when you pick it up. 4) Service can be a little slow especially on busy night. 5) iPad keeps going back to the main page and you need an employee to reset the code. Conclusion: Matsuno is okay. I maybe don t want to comeback here because I want to try other sushi places and I know that there are better ones than this place. It s okay and maybe better for you the viewer. God Bless you and God Bless the people that keep this restaurant going but I m indifferent on this restaurant. 2.5/5 stars for me.
The best AYCE sushi in Montreal. Fresh ingredients. Fast service. Polite staff. Will definitely be back.
Cozy, fast and nice servic ,food is fresh ,clean ,many different choices
The speed of service is incredible! The sashimi, maki and everything else were very fresh and succulent. Very clean, parking available just 20 minutes from Mtl I will definitely go back!
Love the food always fresh sushi and any seafood and the service is awesome and so fast I find just the place over crowded the set up is not working for them, they could use a makeover.
I love matsuno. It is absolutely the best All you can eat in terms of QUALITY, PRICING AND SERVICE #1. DONT TRUST ANYONE THAT DOESNT SAY MATSUNO IS #1 IN MTL.
This is a place to bring friends, family, first dates. Great food, very filling good drinks and the service is amazing.
My favourite happy place
Super delicious, great service
When it comes to all-you-can-eat sushi, nothing beats Matsuno. For the price, the quality and variety are unmatched. I ve tried other places like Taketa, but Matsuno is my favorite by far. The service here is outstanding always very quick. What sets Matsuno apart for me are the choices and the flavors. The menu feels more diverse, and the dishes are consistently fresh and delicious, with flavors that really stand out. I ve been coming here for years whenever I crave sushi, and I ve never been disappointed. If you re looking for a reliable and satisfying sushi spot, Matsuno is the place to go!
Excellent service, with a very friendly and attentive team! The service is also very fast. There is a wide variety of sushi and other dishes, and the bubble tea is delicious.
Place is great although it can be quite busy during weekends. I would recommend reserving prior to your arrival. Order only what you can eat as every leftover will be charged 1$
It s been our go to for the last 7 years. I ve tried almost all AYCE sushi in and around montreal, Matsuno Is my top 2 of all times. What s remarkable it s that the service is amazing too! Incredibly fast and nice.
The last thing you expect when you go to an all you can eat sushi is good sides (I.e, general tao, beef/broccoli, noodles, pad Thai) well what a turn of events it was when we ate them - so so so delicious.
Employees look like they are getting paid, they seem disgusted to work and to serve food! Manager thought he was Rocky Balboa or something came out to argue and fight with a customer !!! WORST ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE . Yo those employees are shipped to Canada directly from China and working like slaves
It was too Boo! It was perfect I highly recommend
The best !!
Always full and service is always outstanding and the food is very good.
One of the best for sushi in Montreal Great quality, service and ambience Totally recommend Food : 5/5
Best all you can eat sushi ever!!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere, and short waiting times - made available within the West Island of Montreal. Whats not to love? Matsuno is a top-tier all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Montreal.
I went 2 years ago it was so delicious but last week i had guests from toronto i took them here i was so so dissapointed , i rarely comment review, but i cant pass without commenting because i get shy of my guests it was really bad not tasty at all not fresh, we were so hungry and the table remain ,it wast like before, very bad experienece, long line , broken i pads, not worth it and too expensive...
One of my favorite sushi places, my only complaint is that they put tooooo much mayo / sauce on the sushi rolls when I ask them not to.
Food is the best, the service is great! The stuff are very nice.
The food is fantastic, easily one of the best sushi experiences Ive had. The service is very efficient, and theres a wide variety of options to choose from. The only downside is the 2-hour timer set on the tablet, which can make you feel a bit rushed. It opens at 4:30, making it a great spot for an early evening meal
My favourite restaurant! Great service, perfect food and nice ambiance! Love their peanut butter dumplings, avocado maki, miso soup... Vegetarian options: There a lot of vegan options on the menu
Had the tempura shrimp, sesame beef, and general Tao. All of it very good. Im a General Tao expert, and although it wasnt the best Ive had, it was certainly the best Ive ever had in the West Island. Pricey but worth it.
I love this place, really love it The food is exceptional, I had sushi in so many restaurants, this is one of the best I have tested. I am giving 4 stars as the service is sometime nice, sometime rude, but for sure, very fast.
Seamless experience! Please try it NOW!
Everything was delicious!
All you can eat with very good quality sushi at a reasonable price.
Great place! The food is very high quality, the servers adorable and the prices completely reasonable!
The food was excellent and delicious.
As soon as we want to eat sushi, and as much as we want, we go straight to Matsuno Sushi Fusion. No disappointment yet. I highly recommend. Remember to make a reservation because there are a lot of people every time. You must book at least one day in advance.
Never disappoint so good
Fast , fresh and gd price !!
I must say its an amazing restaurant the staff is incredible
No doubt one of the bestest sushis restaurant in Quebec! Probably the best one in Pointe Claire. The service is perfect, staff very friendly and thoughtful. The food is of high quality and creative, everything is super delicious and well done. Highly recommended!
Good experience for a sushi buffet, including desert. Looking forward to be seated again. Menu covers everything from soup, salad to special ice cream. The most enjoyable part is to be there, seeing the action, tasting various food in small quantity, get more to go with your favorite cup of tea.
My friend ate from this place and ended up getting salmonella food poisoning and had to go to the ER after having 40 degree fever, throwing up and diarrhea.
I really like this restaurant, but I think it is unfair that they consider children of three and five years of age to be adults when pricing their meals. My children do not eat sushi, so they should not be charged.
Food was amazing. High quality AYCE. Kids and adults loved the food and vibe. Washrooms are clean and well maintained.
Great food and very friendly staff!
First time going to this All you can eat buffet. Surprisingly, no mistakes in the orders. The waitress at the end that served us was very kind and professional. Food was good cant complain would go back. You can do walk ins but best to book a reservation on weekends to avoid long wait times.
I can t stretch enough how fresh and fresh and delicious everything was !!! I don t think I ll ever go anywhere else. Parking: Easy to park and free
My best friend and her brother went there for her birthday.she got sick from the food. We took her to the car outside and forgot her purse. When we came back outside for her purse it wasn t on the table. They said nobody would ever steal at there restaurant they know all the client they are like family which is a big bullshit. We told them we were gonna come back with the police and then after we told them we were going to call the police they (found) it. The staff stole her purse and only gave it back when we mention the police
Great place. Great service. Highly recommended.
Rude people that work in this restaurant, service is bad, they talk to you like you owe them something, I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL, FOOD IS STALE
I m giving 1 star because the waitress here are so rude when you don t give an amount of tip that they want You re never supposed to force someone for that type of things because the tip is always based on the service which wasn t the best My friend gave 4$ tip and the waitress forced me to pay 6$ which is even more and that lady was barely with us the whole night she embarrass me in front of everyone saying I have to pay more which I think it should be my choice for that amount I want to give We were 6 people we took the time to call for reservation normally if there s going to be a fee for an amount of people that s something you say in advance the guy came to the table saying we had to pay a fee for being 6 people then disappeared after which is something you should say in advance They really stay trying to take people money Never had such bad experience in a restaurant If I you want good service I wouldn t recommend this place
We had an evening dine in on a weekday. Its very busy and the queue was long but we didnt mind waiting. After 1hour, we got a table and we realized the service and the food were below average. The atmosphere was great. Food
Waited forever! Have crazy guys!
Fresh product, fast service and very professional, friendly servers
Food is great, the ambiance with friends / family is amazing, service is quick. The BEST is when you are being served by Winnie. However, she only works on the weekends and she has to travel all the way from Brossard. She has the best cutest personality loved by everyone. Nothing goes wrong when shes serving your table!
I ve been to Matsuno several times and it never disappoints. Service is super fast, and the food is very fresh and delicious. Especially the avocado hosomaki, which is super creamy, I can eat 15 of them, that s how good it is. Lots of variety to choose from and you order using the tablet they provide and I like how there are pictures to see what the food will look like. It can be a bit tough to get a table during the evenings, so it s better to make a reservation or better yet, get there 10-15 mins before they open and wait in line. There is even dessert you can order, such as ice cream flavors like green tea, mango & chocolate. Even if you re not a fan of sushi, they do offer a large variety of non-sushi dishes. Wish I took more photos, but the food was simply too delicious that I forgot to.
I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant. Been a customer who comes back every year, but no more. I made a reservation for 5 people. We came 15 minutes early but they were forcing 5 people in a small booth. Were not small people, two people at the booth on each side with one at the end, theres no room!!! I explained to the server, whose fault I understand isnt hers, that this was unacceptable and I made a reservation expressly for a table of 5. There was a table behind us, for 12, no reservation card.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food all came within 3 - 5 minutes of submitting on the tablet. No real complaints about the food. All was tasty. Definitely give it a try.
Hum so I dont usually like to leave reviews but this restaurant is so over hyped, I had to. First of all, the waiters were rude. They were upset whenever we would ask about a sushi (I have allergies so I just wanted to make sure). The waitresses though were a lot nicer but the guys... Ouf. Now the food. I dont know if the people of DDO are not used to good sushi, but it was not good at all. I know all you can eat restaurants are usually meh but you always find some food delicious. This time, nothing was good. The Asian fusion were off. The peanut butter chicken did not taste like peanut butter (how can one mess up peanut butter sauce is beyond me). The pizza sushi were burnt and awful. And the sushi.... Soggy, horrible. Usually I am not picky, especially with fried sushi but the fact that they messed up even the fried sushi should tell you everything you know. Paid 100 dollars for two and honestly I would have preferred spending that money at a fast food place. I dont know if it was an off day because it was packed but we wont be returning again unfortunately.
Received order without chopsticks or soyasauce called restaurant and was told unfortunately nothing they could do since my order was already delivered ordered so many times previously and such a disappointment
Service was exceptional, both quick and friendly! I went on a date there and loved the food; it was so tasty.
Please do not spend 2 hours per table with 8 people!!!
One of my top places for all you can eat sushi. Place is well organized and service is always fast no matter how busy it gets
I drive 2 hours to get there! These are the best sushi all you can eat. Arrive at 4:30!!
It is really good. I go very often with my family . Would recommend.
Food was good, but customer service is bad. The employee was very rude and aggressive about me not leaving a tip when all my friends did. Last time I checked, tips are complimentary and not obligatory amongst us. After paying my bill, the employee asked if the service was bad and I said no then she asked why didn t I tip and I simply told her that I wasn t obligated to, her way of speaking afterwords was very rude as she proceeded with my friends and kept on trying to make feel bad for not leaving a tip. Will definitely not be returning. Very disappointed
One of the best sushi spots, great options and variety. The staff is very friendly.
Cheap quality, slow service, we got the vegetarian sushi pizza and HALF of it was avocado and mayo! Their soups are drowned in sesame oil. God even their ginger doesnt taste right.
I really enjoyed this all you can eat menu, so much choice. Excellent service, I will return.
Very good..
I am a huge fan of sushi, specifically all-you-can-eat restaurants. I ve tried not only all of Montreal s best all-you-can-eat sushi places but also those in different cities, states, and countries. So, consider me a complete sushi junky! Matsuno is my absolute favorite sushi place in Montreal, and my family, friends and I have been customers for many years, never once being disappointed. If you are a sushi lover who knows the difference in quality at all-you-can-eat restaurants, live in Montreal, and have never heard of Matsuno, give it a shot, and you ll know what I m talking about. I ve never written a review in my life, but this place has it all from taste to quality, easy tablet ordering, crazy fast service, and absolutely friendly staff! Highly recommended for families and events! Just remember that you need to reserve; otherwise, you re going to wait a lot. So reserve! They are busy! I also recommend going on weekends because all the options are available. Additionally, it s a great place for vegetarians with lots of options! Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetable, tofu, and avocado sushi, vegetable tempura, and noodles! Kid-friendliness: Several child chairs available, making it easy for families to find a comfortable spot. The staff are super friendly to kids, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly! Highly recommended for families! Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor with a wide doorway and makes room for wheelchairs, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests!
One of the best sushi place we had! Michelle was very nice! The service is very good and quick. Very recommended Food : 5/5 |
Really good food , good price and the service is super fast . 9/10
I used to enjoy my experience here. Unfortunately, not anymore. I had more rice than actual ingredients in the sushis. We had more tempura than fish and what not in the sushis. We ordered sesame beef. It had 10% beef, and the rest were just bread crumbs. Not worth the experience. We ordered hosomakis knowing they were going to be small. They ended up being bigger. Note that you are going to be told in the beginning that you have 2 hours to be at the table. This will not be pleasant for a group of more than 4-5 people. Unfortunately, I have to move on; I will not be coming back along with many of my friends and family members.
Great service by Staly. Had a smile on his face the whole time. Made us laugh. 5 stars for sure
They rush you to eat and get out that s so bad
Super good
Service was really fast, food was pretty good (especially the sashimi) and a lot of diversity in the menu. The only real inconvenience is that the table for two people is pretty small.
Great all you can eat a la carte restaurant. You can have sushi, Chinese food or Thai food. Great selection and food is always fresh. Service is quick and efficient. Hands down my favorite all you can eat Asian food restaurant in Montreal. Parking can be challenging during peak hours. Make a reservation to avoid too much of a wait. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available
I called to pickup my order & when I was eating at home I literally found a hair in my noodles
Great variety of sushi, quick service. Whats not to like?
Sushi with leftover chicken?
I love this restaurant the food and service BUT today we were served by an extremely intrusive waitress who even on several occasions fed (leaning over the banquette table to take his fork and force-feed him) my waiter 4 years !!! I was uncomfortable... She also ordered food??? bring him ice cream! Sincerely unpleasant, invasive, disturbing and totally inappropriate! I will NEVER go back AGAIN I cannot accept a stranger coming to manage my dinner, disturbing my family and touching my child!!!
We came without reservation I dont know if it is mandatory but they sat us anyway I was very happy about it, phenomenal service!!!! The food was the same PHENOMENAL Food
Ordered via UE. Good stuff.
Food quality is low at best. The dinner menu options are much less. Service has improved.
Excellent all-you-can-eat fusion sushi restaurant. It serves sushi and Chinese dishes. Everyone in our group liked the dishes. Our table reservation was ready on time and we had an exceptional welcome. The dishes are ordered from an electronic tablet on which there are beautiful images of the items. The dishes were served very quickly, so we had plenty of time to order all the dishes we wanted within the two-hour reservation window which is more than enough. It is also possible to order extra beer and bubble tea. The restaurant and toilets are clean. The staff is very pleasant and bilingual, we loved our experience at this restaurant and we will definitely return.
Overall one of the best All-you-can-eat meals Ive eaten! Ive tried almost everything. Ive tried a lot of all-you-can-eat sushi and its one of the good ones . Quite astonishing quality/speed! Nice job thanks for the experience!
Marvellous food and service
Best AYCE sushi in the west island. Reasonably priced, quicker service compared to other places, but still relatively slow. Go-to spot for sushi
What an outstanding experience. My first visit at Matsuno sushi fusion was extraordinary, Michelle provided us service that was second to none, the sushi, tempura and fusion dishes were as awesome as the service. I will certainly be going back, asking for Michelle as our waitress and will be highly recommending this fabulous restaurant to all my friends and family. Parking: We arrived during dinner so parking in the main lot was unavailable however it was not difficult to find parking nearby.
Very good restaurant with lots of choice. We are limited to two hours for the meal but the service is very efficient (very busy on Friday evening)
Great food! I love everything on their menu. Best sushi ever
An amazing place to taste an all you can eat sushi, a lot of tasteful items, always fresh, rather quick service, depends if they are really busy or just normal busy. You need a reservation, if you dont have one they can take you in but you may wait outside until thwy have place inside. We went there more than 10 times since our friends brought us there. A must try
Overall Rating 10/10 Always Always the best open sushi experience, cheaper on weekdays, staff is always fast and kind, they pick up ur empty plates and unlock the ipad very fast. Food
They are amazing serving the order fast and the sushi are very good.
Fast, courteous service and the sushi is fresh.
Honestly one of the best sushi places Ive been to in the West Island. Great service, tables are always quickly cleared, food is quick to come out, water glasses always filled. Ill take pics next time.
My favorite place, delicious food with hard working people and very respectful
A first time for us and our expectations were exceeded! They are very well organized for the wait before getting a table (ipad at the entrance and we send you a text message when your table is ready) it goes smoothly, little waiting! iPad to order too, fast service and the employees are all very nice. The food is absolutely delicious, we recommend! Parking: Difficult parking but you have to be patient
It s your usual all you can eat sushi. It s good but nothing exceptional. It s a good option if you re craving an all you can eat, nothing more nothing less.
Matsuno stands out as one of Montreals top sushi destinations, renowned for its exceptional quality and fresh ingredients. Despite its popularity and the bustling atmosphere, the service is impressively quick and efficient, making it a must-visit for both sushi lovers and newcomers alike. Be sure to arrive early to secure a spot at this culinary gem in the heart of the city.
One of the best sushi place
So it pains me to have to review this restaurant as I try to only review restaurants with a 4 plus stars (in my opinion of course). So why I decided to review is that it s now my 2nd time eating there and the experience has been consistent - food below average, atmosphere beautiful, staff beautiful. So why the review? At $38.00 plus tax and tip per person for the all you can eat I felt that one needs to properly evaluate the value proposition. Note: To the owners, I hope you take this in the most constructive manner as it s not meant to put your thriving business down at all, however, you may wish to improve though perhaps not, as regardless of the day and time the restaurant is full and lines of people waiting - so maybe I am too picky given that I am a foodie with a background in the industry? So to compare this restaurant. 1- Selection: When I compare it to key competition such as Kanda, Sawadika, and La Perle - the selection is very low. Pricing can be up to only $4.00 less from Matsuno, but it does not come close to the amazing and numerous quality tasting dishes such as shrimp toast, shrimp in lobster bisque, poached fish in black bean sauce, etc. The fact is this restaurant gives you the bare minimum of selection and I would encourage anyone to go to La Perle (for Chinese) and see for yourself. 2- Quality & freshness: I/we found issues such as the calamari was not even like bubble gum, octopus was passable, and the sushi rice had an overly goey texture and taste that was unappealing. This is NOT a place for sushi, if you want good sushi go to Mikado! Or go to all you can eat sushi places (can t find a good one yet). The crispy red bean paste sesame balls were actually fantastic as was the won ton soup. Gyoza dumplings were tasty, the Katsu chicken was nice but sadly they place the sauce on the chicken thus making some pieces saturated with sauce and other without - sauce in the side please! The sushi seaweed paper was the worst I have ever experienced. It was barely chewable and often and had to spit it out like a piece of fat from a bad steak. I don t know why this would be and it also wasn t tasty. 3- Overall value proposition: Frankly, it s hard to say this because I genuinely enjoyed my time there and the atmosphere, their cool way of ordering food and how quickly the food would come to the table and the kind and attentive staff were all great. I am sure ownership will be quite defensive and state that they are sad to here my experience was not up to my standards, that I should maybe come again in the future, that the proof is they are busy non stop and their business is thriving. But trust me, go to La Perle or other places and taste for yourself - this is not the best place to go for all you can eat Asian at these prices. *Note, La Perle doe NOT offer any Japanese food, however I would look at it like this, if you want to eat the best quality food then go to the place that offers it and don t compromise with an all in one place and sacrifice on both. Have Japanese at Mikado s and Chinese at La Perle or which ever places you prefer. For those who love this place I suggest to try other places to compare - sorry if I have offended you. Maybe this is just me, but after going with two different groups one year apart with the same outcome and with both groups (12 foodies) all coming to the same evaluation either we are all food snobs or we actually know what good food is as we re experienced in this field and are just calling it as it is. Now at the end of the day is it worth the price? Not in my opinion. Bottom line the food is not worth the money for the most part as some dishes are good to ok. And the rest passable and the sushi - forget about it. The environment and staff 100% worth it. Vegetarian options: Many vegan and vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Just ask and they will help Parking: Easy to find a space Kid-friendliness: Fun place for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Yes as it s street level not sure about the washroom though
Matsuno has really upped their game lately. I ve been going since it first opened and the standard has gone up significantly for food and service. The last 5 or so visits have all been exceptional.
Food quality wasnt good at all. The food wasnt fresh. My wife ate sashimi and she didnt feel well all night.
Food was amazing! Great selection! Our server was so nice as well as all the staff!!! This is my new go to place!!
Fast service every single time and the food is great
Walk in with 7 people. Great service, friendly, and the food is really good.
My favorite Restaurant! food is good and fresh! service is good! Price is good! Parking: Large parking lot accessible from several locations. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to climb and there are slopes for access.
All the dishes are exquisite and the general tao is succulent, fast service I will definitely return.
THIS IS THE BESTTTT all you can eat sushi i ve ever been to. the quality of the fish is so amazing and delicious it just tastes so fresh. service is great the food gets served quite fast. on multiple occasions i have travelled over an hour to get there worth it everytime. the edamame is so good ive had 6 bowls in one go. They are just so good all the rolls are spectacular. Only thing i would change is adding more rolls not enough rolls w raw salmon. i wish they had more interesting rolls. it would make them even more outstanding. my only suggestion to anyone that goes is to not order to much salmon sashimi s at once because the more u order in bulk they start cutting the pieces to fast and it s brings the quality down and it s not as amazing but besides that LOVE IT. make sure to reserve a couple days in advance or else you ll be stuck waiting in line for an hour even if you come at opening time good luck i ll wait min 45 min of u go on a weekend day or friday. Love the ice cream there super good.
Great restaurant one of the best all you can eat in Montreal fresh food and everything
My go-to all you can eat sushi!
The food was good and theres a lot of options. **WARNING** We ordered two items and then 25 cheap sushi rolls appeared on on order. We didnt order them. I believe they tried to scam us by making us eat the cheap sushi rolls instead of the more refined food. We tried to explain ourselves but they gave us an ultimatum, either we eat it or we pay for it. Obviously we ate it but it filled us up pretty well, especially when its mid meal.
The team is super attentive and fast. Fresh and tasty.
We took a combo with 100 pieces for family dinner. Liked it very much. Fresh, will done. I came 10 minutes before the pickup time - theyve just finished the plate for me. Good service and will packaging. Will definately order again.
Overpriced for mid sushi. It was an okay place I ve been to better places for better food.
Food was amazing.. lots of choices. Will go back.
Hands down my favourite all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in Montreal. The staff are quick, friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is excellent (their sashimi, mussels, squid and lamb = the best I had in a sushi buffet setting) compared to the other sushi buffets in West Island, downtown and Old Port. 10/10 Would come back again!
If I could, I would love to give 10 your order is on the table in a second, everything is served hot from pan, melts in mouth. Great variety of choices for everything: veg, chicken, beef.... The price absolutely matches the quality. I am difficult when it comes to food, dont like sea food but here its a different story! strongly recommend you.
Beautiful place. Good dishes. I recommend
Hats off to Matsuno and their staff, the food is always fresh and delicious and the service is top notch .
Decent all you can eat restaurant, good mango ice cream and decent bubble tea
Very good sushi. Friendly staff. Dont ignore you. Ice cream is a must.
The price from this all you can eat sushi restaurant is really good. Its around 40$!!! For all you can sushi and other stuff on the menu. They have a very large selection of food (lots of them are mostly Chinese and Japanese cuisine). The sushi and sashimi were very fresh. I wont recommend for the cocktails. But overall, the food was very amazing for the price that we paid. You do need to have a car to go there.
Excellent food, sushis are succulent, service is exceptional. Recommending 10/10 Food
Edit: No more lunch, only dinner. Weekend dinner is $40.99+tax and tip. Went for Friday Lunch (16.99). Quick and great service despite being so busy. Unlike other ayce places that put extra salt in everything, matsuno didnt do that. My new fav ayce place to go to. Would definitely recommend.
The food was fresh and good. I liked the big selection they have besides the sushi which was very good. The service is quick and excellent
The waiters are nice! Food was great!
Price went from 29 to 50 in one year
Best all you can eat sushi restaurant Ive tried so far. We order with an iPad. You can order several times during the evening. Everything was really delicious. The service was SUPER fast. I have never had such fast service in a restaurant. We barely placed our order and 30 seconds later the first dish was on the table. The servers are super nice. The only point to improve would be the space between the benches and the table. We were pretty tight. Parking difficult to find. But it was worth looking for a place. I recommend +++
We loved our experience, all the dishes arrive very quickly and are mostly delicious. The service is impeccable and fast. Im starting again and will definitely go back.
Very awesome food, well prepared, quick delivery, exceptional service, a tad pricey but well worth it.
Called to place an order for pick up. I am asking the lady over the phone how long does it take before it gets ready. She was very rude by answering few minutes. I told her like what you mean few minutes? She s like few minutes it s few minutes. Then she said 6 minutes, do you like my answer now? I m very sorry. You are not even capable to answer a simple question
This sushi place is really good. I love the mango makis they make there. I will definitely be going there again.
Great food, good value for the price, awesome service for a place where the service staff are overwhelmed.
I ordered trake out. The guys was as horrible as food court food. My husband threw away some of the food since it was disgusting.
Everything we ordered was great I was shocked by how quickly we got the food. Maybe it was because we went on a Monday so fewer people. The only odd things that I found were: The ipad locking after each order, and having to wait for server to unlock it When I went to pay ahead of my group since I left early, and I wanted to pay for multiple people they wanted to know exactly who I am paying for. I was clear that the people I was paying for did not have anything extra. But they still wanted to come with me to the table and see who I am covering the bill for. Even with these tiny comments I still had fun and I would definitely go back.
They are the best. Everything is fresh.
