Great portions, and great-tasting food. (3 yrs ago) Edit: April 2024 - Im quite disappointed with the quality of food at this place lately. I used to love going here, but the last few times we ordered dishes like chicken and beef general Thai, they tasted like overcooked batter with barely any meat in them. The rice also tasted old on a few occasions. Unfortunately, we have decided not to spend our money here anymore.

Visited Thai Express on 2024-02-05 at 10 PM expecting it to be open until 11 PM as per their websites information. Unfortunately, I found the restaurant closing and was asked to leave by the employees. This was particularly disappointing due to the discrepancy between the actual closing time and the one advertised online. It would be helpful for future customers if the restaurant could ensure their website reflects accurate operating hours.

Food is quick and good. A little expensive in my opinion but still good. I rate Atmosphere low because its rare I see people eating there. I do pickup each time.

They raise the price AGAIN, for a chicken fried rice you will be paying tax included $$ 15.72. 1 hour minimum wage

My partner and I have come to this restaurant 3 times and have been disappointed each time with regards to a female cashier (brown hair, don t know name). The last time I was there was yesterday around 5/5:15pm. The first time we went, my partner ordered a general Thai that also showed on her computer, and I asked for a Tom yum with no onions (she told me it doesn t have). She threw out the receipt right when it came out and when we asked for it back she said sorry (didn t get it). When the food came, my partner received pad Thai and informed the cashier it wasn t right and wanted what he ordered. She insisted that s what he ordered and I said no, I heard him clearly and it also showed on the screen and the receipt you threw out. She didn t have it replaced. Came home and my soup came with a handful of onions. The EXACT thing happened again a few weeks later. Yesterday we have one last chance and ordered the same food, except this time I asked for a small Tom yum combo with a drink and imperial rolls. Took it home after she passed us the plastic bag and the lid was open, spilling in the car and at home, she didn t include the imperial rolls. It s really difficult to support a restaurant that hires cashiers who argue with you when you ask kindly to them what you need. I m telling my friends and family to avoid this restaurant as it s not worth the hassle for an overpriced meal.

We are so happy with the service and food that its a weekly trip to this location where we are welcome and always greeted with a smile.

This is by far my favorite Thai Express. The food is excellent, beautiful white meat chicken perfectly cooked for the general thai. Ive seen complaints about some staff members. Maybe the experience varies but the people I get are always super nice and the service is very fast. I usually get an asian lady and an older asian male cook during week days afternoon. I give both 10/10. Also, the place is very spacious and mega clean. Highly recommended.

Explained our order to the cashier at least three times she still got it completely wrong somehow. One of our dishes is so spicy it s basically inedible. Really disappointing customer service .

Went in for take out. Placed my order, asks if I want spicy, I say oh no thank you. He proceeds to talk to the chef. I get home and guess what ..food is sooooo spicy that I can not eat it. As he handed me my order before I left, he had an oddly uncomfortable grin on his face.

Food was excellent, but my experience was flawed by the rude workers. I asked for a to-go container to put half my food in it as I knew I wouldn t eat more than half in one sitting and I was rudely told by the cook to come back at the end of my meal if I actually didn t finish it. He even hesitated to give me siracha sauce when I asked for it. I decided to go ask the cashier for it instead and I could see him aggressively giving her a hard time for giving it to me. I understand we are all actively and collectively trying to avoid waste, but this has nothing to do with that. Very disappointing.

This place is conveniently located and has plenty of parking.

It s crazy how consistent this location is. Family run franchise and it s almost as if they are the original founders of Thai express.

Worst service. The food is different from the order, and the food is very salty and the actual food is very different from the picture on the menu. Staff very rude.

*This review concerns my meal specifically* At work, we made an order for all the employees and this is what my Thai soup looked like. -Noodles, lots and lots of noodles -5 Shrimp -Little little pieces here and there of carrots, shallots and onions. Lots of ingredients were missing and it was honestly the most disappointing meal Ive had from a restaurant. Ill let you compare the image of my meal versus the image that appears on the site.

Food is good but people are bit difficult to communicate with. It s better If you use Uber Eats. There is a fan noise always running close to the counter so it s quit difficult to order. This is on top of the language accent gap. All the time we were there, people will yelling and getting upset. Eating there is not a pleasant experience.

When we asked for an order to be changed because of my friends allergy, the cashier got very rude and confrontational. The manager did not want to intervene and they wanted us to pay again for another dish, which we refused. To me, its common sense to provide good customer service... That dish is not costing them much at the end of the day. They ended up changing the order in the end but with a lot of attitude . Needless to say, I am never going back to this place again

Can t eat the soup since the plastic burn into the soup. Had to throw it out. Never came back.

Quick & friendly service! My Pad Sew was delicious & the ingredients felt super fresh compared to other locations...very tender chicken!!! My only complaint, lots of oil residue which can really be overpowering.

I am a big fan of Thai express In general. The only issue I find with this franchise is that each store varies in consistency and quality. However, I can safely say that this location is by far the best one in the west island. Their portions are always generous unlike other locations. Best pad Thai By far.

Very welcoming and warm setting. Quite interesting menu. The soups are ready quickly. Vegetables and seafood are highlighted in the dishes. Debit cards are accepted. I ordered a soup to take away and it was very quick. I recommend.

I ordered Pad Thai and it came with soy sauce soaked like soup. Soy soup is what it is and so salty. I had a few bites and threw it out. Avoid!

DO NOT EAT HERE. I ate here and got sick, when I went to the washroom it smelt so bad . When I asked for paper towel, I got yelled. I later found out that was the manager who was too cheap to pay for even toilet paper!! The worst restaurant I have EVER been to. Dont go here unless you want to be sick for a week.

My wife went here last night around 9pm she got the General Tao and has had food poisoning and we are currently at the hospital. Never shall we sit foot in there again and trust Ill be making a formal complaint with the Mapaq.
