The food and place was amazing, but what really stood out was the hostess, Marie, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we felt completely taken care of throughout the meal.

The food was very delicious especially the desserts !!! The atmosphere was very calm as well the moment you walk in. Marie was outstanding !! She greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome right away. She was attentive throughout the meal, refilled our drinks promptly, and checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive. This service made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Higly recommend to visit this restaurant !!

The takeout service was really impressive, and I have to give a shoutout to Muthu Laxman for making it such a pleasant experience. He handled everything so smoothly from making sure the order was correct to packing it perfectly and delivering it on time. The food was fresh and still warm, which shows the care and effort put into the service!

We arrived, a party of 2 and were seated immediately. Now after waiting over 15 minutes, someone finally came to take our order, followed by a second server who wanted to take our order. It seems no one understands that you should greet your customers and get a drink order if you need time. Much better than simply ignoring them.

STAY AWAY. In the start we already knew something was wrong our waiter was not coming to take our order and we waited 20 minutes just for her to take our order . I was about to leave but someone already did . I ordered the chicken tenders and they were NOT COOKED INSIDE WAS COMPLETELY RAW (HOW DO YOU EVEN DO SIMPLE CHICKEN TENDER WRONG) . SAVE YOURSELF FROM GETTING POISONED AND STAY AWAY ,TRUST ME .

One of the best Swiss Chalet locations in the GTA. It s not too busy- the staff is friendly, welcoming, patient and considerate and the service is really fast and efficient. Delicious food - the rotisserie chicken is flavourful and crispy! Nice portions and they provided enough sauce and we didn t wait a long time to be served. Mahmed is a great server! The honey garlic quarter chicken was really good. We were served by Mahmed who was excellent. He was very quick and kind.

Its been awhile since Ive dined in at Swiss Chalet, and I had fully expected it to feel different, and taste different. I was so happy to be wrong. My favorite app as a kid was their garlic bread, and I had ordered specifically that for nostalgic reasons, and it tasted exactly the same as it had over 20 years ago. The value was great for the amount of food we had, and our server Mahmed was extremely friendly and such a joy as well!!

Looking for familiar comfort food, we were happy to come across a Swisser on our errands run on Don Mills. The minute we arrived, Dawn received us with smile and warmth, looking after all we needed and requested.

I came in on Sunday November 3rd 2024. I come from a strong hospitality background I know what service standards are. We came in at 7pm the hostess greeted us in a strange manor. She just said one second instead of greeting us a pleasant manor and saying she will be with us in one minute. We were sat in a booth it took over 10 minutes for a server to greet us and take the order. Once we placed our order took another 15 minutes just recieve our drinks and appetizers. The server approached us to let us know that they are cooking more dark meat that it was going to be a longer wait. I personally didnt mind but my partner was adamant of having the dark meat so I told him to bring both plates at the same time as we can eat together. They didnt wait for us to finish our apps before bringing out the mains. When we recieved the mains the chicken looked undercooked like it was made in the microwave and the fries werent cooked. We sent back the entire meals and we werent pleased. Never had an issue in the past with this location extremely disappointed.

Dont bother complaining three weeks and still havent gotten a response..we have read your complaint and have forwarded to the right person

Terrible order from this place. We ordered skip the dish, and they missed an entire meal and 2 drinks from our order. They also ran out of dark meat on a Friday at 6:30 pm The chicken was dry, the fries were soggy and the coleslaw was dry as well. Very disgusting, will not be ordering from this location again.

Every Sunday I try to make closing time to treat myself to take out and say goodbye to another week. The take out staff is exceptional and truly represent a positive view of the Swiss Chalet family. I would especially like to point out Priya. If there is a path up the corporate ladder, I recommend she is given a hand up.

Oct 1st 2024 around 5:30pm (after work) my family and I went to Swiss Chalet so I could try the Thanksgiving Special. The food was good as always, but our server was extra wonderful. Priya asked us if we would mind waiting a few extra minutes to make sure we got a freshly made order of fries. She was friendly, professional, super helpful and knowledgable. It made a big difference to our dining experience and we thank Priya for it!

Food is hot and fresh, but take out counter is always disorganized. Best to order and pay in the app and just pick up the food.

I was here recently and was served by a kind man named Sam. He was quick with our order, knew everything on the menu when we asked questions. My wife convinced me to go to Swiss Chalet after many years. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the warm atmosphere and the impeccable service from our waiter Sam. The food was delicious. Sam was so kind and attentive to our needs. It was clearly a busy night but he still made us feel like we were being taken care of. We will be back.

i ordered the Thanks giving special but they didnt check their meals if its complete before they handed to their customer, our bake potato doesnt have sour cream and butter. Disappointed .

I made an Uber Eats order from this location. They delayed it more than an hour past the initial arrival time and they never gave the food to the driver. I ended up having to call Uber and demanding that they cancel the order. Dont take orders if you cant complete them.

I ordered the thanksgiving dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side with a slice of lemon pie. I paid an additional $7 for an extra slice of pumpkin pie for my husband and a chicken broccoli soup. We had it delivered through Skip the Dishes and the total Bill was a little over $53.00. I realize that skip adds to the cost and that s fine and I expected a long wait. 2 hours later it arrived. I didn t receive the gravy on the side or at all and I received 2 slices of coconut cream pie that are frozen solid. I m allergic to coconut so I cant eat one. Not once did the restaurant reach out to ask if we would like something different assuming they ran out. I usually love Swiss Chalet but this was a total let down.

Food is always good. Waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for take out. They must have forgot about our order because when I inquired when it would be ready, the cashier took my receipt to the kitchen and all of a sudden it was ready 10 minutes later.

We always love eating at the Swiss chalet. We like their chicken, ribs, fries, spring rolls and Caesar salad! Customer service is good too. We give 5 stars to Alma ( Don Mills location). Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian. Its the right restaurant for you too! Dietary restrictions: Let them know, and they will Do their best to make it for the customer. Parking: They have shared free parking lots with the other restaurants and grocery stores. Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves Swiss chalets! And they have coloring paper too.

We placed an order on the phone thay told us it would it wold be ready for pickup at 7:15 pm. Got there at 7:05. Was kine up. Didnt get to pay till almost 8:00. Then a few minutes later they came and said. Sorry we have no more ribs...... NOW on Mondays you have all you can eat ribs promotion now can you not have ribs...we got the Thanksgiving special but didnt receive the cranberries and my wife didnt get the rice she order Waited an hour and fifteen minutes after the pick up time to receive my order POOR MANIGMENT Need to keep the customers informed on whats going on

Do not bother to order ahead online. What a disaster!! Even when they tell you the pick up time online they arent right. I waited over 30 min once I got to the resturant to pick up my food. And once I asked the staff why it was taking so long she didnt come back out to bring me my food she had some one else do it.

Two visits this week and both times they were low on chicken. To be clear this chicken restaurant didnt have enough chicken ready to go and dinner time... Imagine a sushi restaurant out of fish.. The latest visit had 13 tables filled, three waitresses and it took an hour to get our food. It then took twenty mins to pay as I had to wait outside the kitchen along with another lady to find a waitress to get the bill. I love the Swiss Chalet but this location hurts the brand.
