Always a good time at Jack Astors. Weve been coming to this location for over 20 years and have yet to have a bad meal! Had the Chicken finger this time and they were delicious as always. Try their new dessert, the sticky toffee pudding, it was delightful! Also our server Peggy was helpful, knowledgeable and over all amazing!

We came for a 50th wedding anniversary and Peggy was our server. She did a phenomenal job taking care of our group. The food was delicious and I recommend trying their smashed loaded potatoes as a side, so good and unlike anything Ive ever had while eating out! Also if youve never had their garlic pan bread, do yourself a favour and order some, it will change your life!

Jack Astors has consistently excellent food. We have been going there for about 4 years and love the service and the food every time. There is a large selection of drinks and a bar section also. The decor is cosy and there many very funny posters and cartoons on the walls. I must add that the waitresses are also very beautiful and friendly.

Please promote Chad. He was great. My table and I loved him. I repeate, promote Chad.

We are from Ottawa and made a reservation here for one of our team dinners. The service was excellent. I was grateful for their work on fitting in our reservation on short notice, too. Courtney, one of the managers, did a terrific job in taking care of us. Highly recommend this restaurant and would return here.

I have been coming to this location for over 20 years. wether its been a company event or just for lunch, all the staff at Jacks always take really good care of us. Never a disappointment at this location. ive been to other jack astors over the years and nothing companre to Dorval. Stacy (manager) is always out to make sure everything is perfect and if its not, she will go out of her way to make sure whatever the situation is fixed. All the bar staff are great. I would love to mention specific names but we go so often it changes from one day to the next. highly recommended for sure

Need to get yourself a waiter, Antes got you. Good service, good food, great fishbowl drinks. The only down was that if you are a walking stomach like me, the burgers were a tiny bit smaller than expected, but filling and really good nonetheless. All and all, real good stuff. And once again, i insist, Ante served our table very well.

The food was great but the service very average. The waitress served us quickly but never offered a second drink and took forever to bring us our bill, even if the place was empty. On top of that, the terminal to pay had a present 18% and 20% tip... Thats a bit rich. Cant restaurant not put preset tip % or AT LEAST put 15% ?? Annoying.

If its not for Maria I wouldnt come... The GM should give her a raise. Top notch service as always! I didnt know about the review and if I did she would have many more in my opinion

We always go to Jack Astors for our family birthdays but tonight was really special. Our waitress for the evening was Peggy and she just happens to have the same birthday as our Grandma! We got to celebrate together she gave us excellent service. Always pleasant, smiling, great sense of humor! She was great at coming by regularly to check on but also giving us a chance to eat and chat had lots of favourite meals around the table, but my grandpa also tried the Asian wonton tacos with chicken and was extremely happy with his meal. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the fries were great as always. And had some DEELISH desserts extremely happy with our service this evening. Thanks again Peggy and team for a great experience and happy birthday once again! Dietary restrictions: We asked to make sure my moms food be made separately from the crab and lobster dip my grandma is having (deathly allergic to fish and seafood), and Peggy assured us that even though they are made on opposite sides of the kitchen so there is no cross contamination, she would also put a note for Moms dish order to make sure they are extra careful

We went here mainly for the fish and chips which were still on the website. Very disappointed that they were no longer available in the store. That used to be the best item on the menu. Waiter misrepresented the fries. When asked he said the potatoes were peeled, they were not. The salmon was way overcooked. The sauce for the fries was ketchup. The plates were dirty. Margueritas were very weak. Will not revisit. So sad this place has sunk so far.

We met him the first week he started work, and because of his great attitude we always ask if he working so we can sit in his section. I was at Jack Astors Dorval twice this week. Both times I had exceptional service. My order came as ordered (picky eater) and everything was hot and tasty. Brandy. Dylan and Stacy (assistant General Manager) went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend their nachos, asiago bow ties, burgers and tacos! We like the bar section for coziness and the comfortable seats in the booth section. Chicken burgers, burgers, lobster dips are our go to. Special thank you for Mandy for her great smile and for attending us so well. Vegetarian options: It would be nice to have cauliflower general tao up on the menu and some comfort foods such as macaroni & cheese. Onion soups. Clam chowder. Pizza rolls/bites.

My wife and I dropped by for a bite after a morning of doctors appts. Atmosphere was great and our server Rob made the break quite special. His positive and cheerful manner enhanced and already great meal. Holy Smoke burger all the way!

Many items missing from the menu, slow service, one plate forgotten and served cold. Group reservation made in advance, lack of glass, we waited after the dishwasher! Some glass still dirty. No compensation offered
