Was told to hurry up and leave, twice. Once at the beginning of the meal, where we were waiting for my sister to arrive (40 minutes late). We were waiting for them to arrive before ordering naturally. Normally we order entres while we wait but since we were told to hurry it just left us panicking and trying to reach my sister who was driving instead. At the end of our meal its true we did stick around to chit chat a while, maybe 30ish minutes, and thats when the owner again told us to basically hurry up and leave because it was busy. I get his motivation for money but it isnt exactly a sign of good hospitality or respect, so im afraid we wont be returning.

I spent an unplanned night in Montreal near the airport. It was a 20 minute walk from my hotel. It was completely worth it. Unlimited coffee and a delicious lunch. If you re looking for something delicious this is not the place. Don t get me wrong the food was ok just not great. Don t get the smoked salmon it was quite sushi-like. Also there is a lack of breakfast meat options like turkey sausage which is surprising in 2024. Dietary restrictions: Halal pork-free options not available.

Good hearty breakfast , so much food I had to leave the potatoes , had the build your waffle platter , good service , decent coffe and I m picky when it comes to coffee would be nice if there were outside seating but I get it it faces the hwy and not much to see

The two egg meats are normally impeccable. I decided to do something different and ordered the cheddar grilled cheese. Yes, technically kraft singles are cheddar, but I would have expected real cheddar.

Will never be getting my business again! The servers always seem to be annoyed before even serving you. Service is usually slow, tables close together and very loud and cold inside. Went to order online since they had only half the menu I called to see if I could order something same price but get what wasn t show online. A simple sorry not possible would ve been fine but to sounds annoyed and be aggressive to end up hanging up is mind blowing . Was simply trying to place an order. And to the gentleman who answered Saturday March 30th around 1:10pm, I hope you learn how to treat customers who are trying to support a business.

Clean , cozy and fast service. Food portion was large and beautifully presented. Coffee was good too. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and chocolate. It was 3 large slices of french toast smothered with strawberries. Very filling and delicious.

Excellent restaurant! Every time we come to Montreal, this is our place for lunch. Just wow! Dont hesitate to settle in Beauce, you will have a lot of people around you!. The plates are generous and there are plenty of menu choices. Very good and even too good!

The waiters were kind to Asian tourists who didnt speak French and whose English was poor. The crepes were a little thicker than the Japanese ones, but they were baked with a nice aroma, and the fruit was sweet and delicious. The shop is lively with many customers from early morning. After the meal, the tables were disinfected and the restaurant was clean. Id like to go back next time Im in Montreal.

Great place, good quality food, prices are high but thats expected now, ordered the Gourmandise. Only 2 slices of bacon and 1 sausage which for the size of the meal is more than enough but like I like my bacon and sausages to come in 3s and 2s lol

A few years ago, Eggpress wasnt very good, but since the pandemic started, theyve really upped their game. It has become my favourite brunch/breakfast restaurant in Montréal. This place is always full of happy families, however its significantly always understaffed, whence why I wouldnt consider it perfect. The atmosphere is very mid, but lets be honest, the real show stopper is the amazing and affordable food. I cannot overstate how amazing this place is.

A friend invited me out for breakfast, and boy I was glad I took her up on it. This is a hidden gem. The restaurant is clean, spacious and very friendly. They have a great menu and options. I had their western omelette with tomatoes. It was cooked perfectly, tasted great, the hashed potatoes were plentiful and delicious. The coffee and other specialty coffees very good. I have been back a few times and never disappointed. Our waiter Bob was amazing, very well organized. Breakfast places these days pile you in like cattle, no room and not the greatest service. This place is totally the opposite of them. Parking: Located in a shopping strip, plenty of space to park. Kid-friendliness: Meals are well plated, great variety.

The food was served fast and hot. All of our dishes were delicious. We had two children with us and the kids menu was perfect for them. Highly recommend Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu options with perfect portions. Our kids loved their crepe with strawberries and sausage and egg with home fries.

My meal was OK, but the menu says there is cheddar curds in the breakfast poutine and it was shredded cheese... Plus the waitress says there was never any cheese curds in the breakfast poutine despite what is written on the menu. It took forever to get the bill.

Order was not what wife wanted. Was brought a different order. The cook came out to the table and started to question my wife why she would not eat the first order....I did not like this and got into a yelling match about the order with the cook. We were greated at the door by a grumpy man. Then it took forever for the waiter to just say hi. When we finally ordered, he had to come back to double check our order. Our plates were just thrown on the table. We never been offered anything to drink. First and last time Im going to this place.

I literally waited 35 minutes before my order was taken by my waitress. I know it was pretty busy but what was surprising is that other customer that came after me was served first! I waited patiently before my waitress came to my table after 35minutes! It took a hour before I was served!

Waitress forgot the water, beans, there was a fly in my tea water, she went to customers who came after us to let them pay first, had to ask for the bill or wed be waiting 20 mins for it, waitress arguing with us about service. Sad to see how this place is just going down. The service is bad, the food is bland, the staff looks stress and overwhelmed. You have to almost beg for service and basic things like water and utensils. They are super slow even when the place is not busy at all Staff constantly on their phones even when you call them! You ask for things on the side they don t bring it. It used to be a nice and quick place to go specially for Dorval but not anymore. Hopefully they can investigate and change some things

The food is tasty, the dishes are generous, the service is good, however the waiter made a complaint because I did not include the tip in the payment, since the service took longer than usual, that is when a tip became mandatory ? Seriously?

I had to recommend things that the waitress had forgotten but the worst was really the burnt and hard bagel which was really disgusting.

I dont usually write bad reviews but this was a must! I walked in and it was kind of empty before I got seated with service. I work in the food industry so when i was talking to my server I realized how tired and mistreated theyre! NOT being paid,and or paid enough Which sadly was the reasoning for why the service wasnt at its best. I dislike supporting businesses that dont take care of their staff ( which makes their business by the way) . After talking for some time here and there with my server I ended up getting something small and gave the server a proper tip. I will Never be going back to this place. I feel sorry for the staff and recommend them to find a better job were theyll be paid and treated better. Id give a zero star if I could.

We had reservations for 12 on Mothers Day 2022. We walked in to the restaurant & were greeted by Theo the owners cute daughter who was helping out on this very busy day. Theo came and said it would be 15 minutes and brought my 94 mother a chair. He kept us informed till the last 30 seconds. We sat down at a great table. This restaurant is very spacious/roomy and tables are at a distance. Our service was excellent by waitress Megan who catered to our every need. Our food was delicious, tasty & portion size generous. All 11 of us enjoyed to the max. Baby (12th person)was provided a high chair and observed the action all around him. This restaurant, staff, food and service are superbe. A 4.2 is not a fair rating honestly it should be a 4.5! Thank you to all & we will look forward to our next visit.

Went here with minimal expectations. We had a work breakfast event and there is not a lot of options around our offices. To my surprise this place amazing. The staff was super friendly, the service was quick (we were over 15 ppl) and the food was fresh and delicious. Everyone devoured their plates including the little fruits that come as decor because everything was so fresh. I will definitely be coming back ! If you are in the Dorval airport area, this little restaurant offers traditional breakfasts with good crispy bacon. Very reasonable price, all thats missing is the ideal atmosphere for a five-star hotel.

Weve tried this breakfast place a few times now and the owners/staff have always been friendly. Today we went there and was served for the first time by a male server. He did not help pour our coffee like other servers would, he just dumped the coffee kettle and mug on the table and left. He never for once came to our table to ask if the food was good and if we needed anything as servers should, and others have done. We saw him walk to other tables occupied by Caucasians, poured their coffee, went back and forth to check how they were doing with their food. As Black people, we know when someone is being racist due to their discriminatory behaviors. You behave this way and expect to get any tips? We are always happy to tip well, but you get tips based on the service you provide. We rated it 3 stars because of previous pleasant experiences, it would have been 5 stars if it wasnt for this white male server today. If we were to specifically rate him, it would be zero . To management, if this isnt already part of your staff training technique, then its time to include Anti-Racist/Anti-oppressive practice in your training practices because your restaurant did not state that you serve only Caucasians. That being said, for now, we will continue to enjoy the good breakfast here and would update my rating based on future experiences. And no, it wasnt a busy morning, there empty tables across the restaurant.
