Honestly, its a very average microphone... I loved the service, the staff are sweethearts. The atmosphere is correct, nothing more or less. The beer is relatively good, its not wow, but it does the job. The food... Ouch, hard blow. Overpriced , under-portioned, the accompaniments to meals are not included and again I would like to say it again, it is overpriced . I ordered a fried chicken burger and honestly very disappointed. Chicken filled with tiraille and tendons, practically as hard as a rock. My partner ordered a plate of cavatelli and for $26 she had the bottom of the plate barely full... In short, very disappointing.

An amazing new addition to West-Island! Their beers offer fresh and new experience, and food is hearty and delicious. It is now one of our favourite spots to visit for a relaxed meal or a gathering with friends. The way the space is set up is ingenious as it allows larger groups to coexist with smaller more intimate gatherings where the noise doesn t carry through. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: A small selection of vegetarian pizzas Parking: It depends on the days. But we usually are able to find a spot.

We were 6 that came for my birthday and it wasnt busy. We arrived at 5:30 and we weren t served our food until about 7:15. We had to leave by 7:30 so we literally had to eat fast. Our service was extremely disappointing and beyond slow. So slow that they had to cancel my birthday cake surprise and my friends didn t get to sing ne happy birthday. They weren t even busy and we had to keep asking other servers to get our waitress. She was being shadowed by a new waiter and he really didn t do anything but talk behind the bar to his other coworkers. Won t be coming back. The food was ok.

Myriane, notre serveuse, nous a très bien guidés dans le choix des bières. Elle est très sympathique, souriante et sassure du bien-être de ses clients, Merci Myriane.

Run, dont walk to Origine Brass. Its a great spot in the West Island. The vibe is great, the brews are delicious and there is wine/cocktails for those who dont partake in beer. The menu has something for everyone, including sourdough pizza. Its very wheelchair friendly and great for families. If you havent gone yet, I recommend you do. Did I mention the staff is really kind and knowledgable about the beers and the menu. Enjoy!

I discovered this precious place since their beginnings. The must haves were their burger and sourdough pizzas. However every single I have gone back their food simply fails in taste and presentation. Last night went back and decided for something different, salmon tartare, which sadly had zero taste. No seasoning, no taste. I had to ask our lovely waitress for lemon!!! If beer only is your thing then yes this is the place for you.

I love the place, the craft beers, the food and the service, I have visited several times already and the service is always very good. Today I dont give it 5 stars Atmosphere just because of the live music, I didnt really like it. But I will still go back because I like everything in general.

Went for a surprise birthday 14 in our group. Service was good. I had the fish and chips, found it disappointing small fish portions and ok fries. My wife had a snitzel, which she found very good. Non drinker so only comments about the beer were from others in the group.... very positive comments, was enjoyed by all.

Ive been going to the place for a few years and Ive had good experiences everything until my recent experience. The server was slow and inattentive. Our food sat on the counter for 15 minutes while our server stood behind the bar. When our food arrived it was cold and our complaint was met with indifference and a comment of were busy. The manager did give us 50% off our bill but at the end we asked for our bills and the waitress took another 10 minutes to bring the bills. We will be very unlikely to come back as this experience was disappointing.

My wife and I visited on a Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. for beer and pizza. It was a day with great weather, sunny and warm. When we arrived, we noticed that the terrace was full and inside was crowded as well, but they had a seat for us inside. Looking around, it was quite apparent that they were over-capacity and understaffed. But we decided to have a seat and prepare for a long wait. We ordered from the rather substantial on-tap beer menu and a pizza to share. The pizza arrived first and it was great. They brag about their sourdough pizza dough and it definitely is something to be proud of. The beer hadnt arrived yet though and I asked if our drinks were coming. It took another 20-30 minutes before they did arrive. My wife had a pint of one of their fruity sour beers and she was pretty happy with it. I ordered a sampler of four 5-oz tasters of some of their beers. The ones I tried were pretty good. It was a nice variety and I would like to try more of them. But given how busy they were and how long it took for our orders to arrive, we decided to call it a night. When the bill arrived I noticed that they hadnt charged us for the drinks and I asked about it and the server said that they were really sorry about how late they were and they comped us our drinks. Now to me, this is incredibly good customer service. We werent actually super unhappy about the wait but I was impressed that they recognized that they werent performing up to their own standards and took concrete steps to make us happy. Such a classy move on their part. We will definitely be back, maybe on a day and time thats not quite so busy. Looking forward to it.

Great place for a small or large group gathering. They have live music on Saturday nights and the band was good. Excellent food, lots of good beers to choose from and an all around great atmosphere.

Decent resto choices are limited on the West Island but the food here is delicious. Pizza = fantastic!!! Service was okay. I would give this resto 5 stars but what is up with blasting the music? I have been here three times already but the last time was for lunch with work colleagues, loud music even at lunch? I love music but I dont get it...Anyway, I will keep going only for my love of pizza :)

Love the atmosphere here! Love that they put the sound foam up top as well before it was a little too loud for this Lady! Food has always been great when we have gone. Favourite has always been the pizza and charcuterie board. As always a cold sour beer is always my choice! Cheers!

Beautiful place and very pleasant setting with a large terrace, wide choice of beer. On the other hand, the service must improve, especially regarding speed, the dishes arrive almost cold. Tiramisu needs work too

I am the owner of a company that took our company employees for lunch on Friday March 28th. We sat down and the atmosphere was lively. The service was a little slow as it seemed that there was two or possibly three employees waiting tables only and the place was pretty full. Not enough staff ! We ordered two pitchers of beer while waiting for all of our party to arrive. The beer was Ok. I prefer Budweiser on tap, but this is their beer crafted on site. We all eventually ordered food from a happy waitress, Pizza, chicken burgers and the like. I ordered the Meat lovers pizza at $25.00. I was excited at the prospect of a mouth watering experience. Was I ever in for a not so pleasant surprise. The pizza came and it looked pathetic with such sparse toppings it could have been mistaken for a vegetarian pizza. Not only did it have almost no toppings, it was the soggiest Pizza I have ever been served. As I was hungry I ate some of it, but to be brutally honest, it was the worst pizza I have ever consumed..partially. At $25.00 plus taxes and tip for a pizza that does not satisfy they should shred the menu and stick to brewing beer. Far too many trendy places have taken peoples money and gone the way of the dinosaur by not giving fair value to their clientele. Time will tell if this place can get their act together in time. Final note to the staff. This review has nothing to do with the friendly service that you offered to my party. This is for the management !

Great place in the heart of the industrial district of Dorval! The food is good, the beer just as good! And Genevieve who treats us very well! Thanks for the good beer every Friday! It always ends the week well!

2 families. Got seated. Lighting is very dim .arguably too dim. Had to use phone flashlights to read the menu. No one tended to us for a while, had to flag down a waiter to take orders after 15-20 minutes of sitting, not sure why restaurant wasn t even half full. Missing cutlery on the table so had to steal some from vacant tables as no one seemed interested we were there. When we finally did order and food came out 2 pizzas were completely burnt underneath, completely black. I showed the waiter and told Him that the kitchen shouldn t let this leave the kitchen, he agreed and was very kind. He offered to take them back but we were hungry and burnt pizza is better than no pizza. The pizzas are a little on the small side, very puffy cornichone (crust) which leads to a soggy middle. For 25$ plus tax and tip they should do a little better. The waiter did comp our drinks which was a great gesture so we appreciate it. Beers were good, fresh and cold. Food and service needs to be tweaked to make this a better experience. The general consensus for the 4 adults after the meal was .it was ok but we won t return.

Original Review: A bit mixed on this one. I think this place used to be great. Recently went there with a group of collegues for lunch. As usual, the beers were top quality, but it took 1h30 to get our mains, and the food was relatively cold. Could have been a one time thing. Ill certainly be coming back, but itll take a big long while. Update: The owner did not waste time in contacting us after the initial experience and offered for us to be compensated. Very professional and courteous, and probably one of the best customer experiences Ive seen in decades. Bumping my review to a well-deserved 5 stars, as the situation was handled perfectly.

We went for a professional lunch and the pasta dish was absolutely excellent. The burger looked really good too.

This place is a must! The food, ambiance and experience with the kids is amazing. A few meals to try besides pizza and beers: the fried chicken and schnitzel sandwich! Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is suitable for children (menu with reasonable prices and portions).

April 2024: came here for a birthday party. Excellent service, very efficient. Dealt with a large walk in table with care even though we were there a while. Handled a food quality issue very professionally. Great music, pretty place, even better than last time. The gin cocktails are super well decorated but are just okay in terms of flavour. The artichoke and goat cheese pizza was good, would have been nice if they had the option to add chicken to it. Tater tots were a pleasant surprise on the menu but not a big fan of the feta sauce. Salmon tartare tasted off, not like gone bad or anything but just really not great seasoning and preparation and I usually love this item at other places; it does come with a very decent Caesar salad which isnt mentioned on the menu. A latte was a great way to finish off. June 2023: Olives and Beignets were good. Steak was not available. Mains were good except the pork roast was dry. Service started off really well but dropped off after the main came. Good music, decent space.

Nice place, I went there for a beer and a snack. I had the garnished fries. It was very good, the missing star comes from 2 details. The flank lacked flavor (seasonings) and the cheese curds contain protein... Good place!

I booked for a retirement party for a small group of colleagues and everything went great! Already when booking, I was made to feel at ease and reassured. They took care of everything and understood my requests. On site, the service was excellent! We were taken care of by Josh who organized everything for us and adapted to our group and everyones requests. He was super cheerful from start to finish. The manager made sure that we didnt miss anything! The food was delicious. Thanks again to the whole team!

Good pizza but nothing crazy, personally was not a fan of artichoke and goat cheese pizza but some will definitely love it. Atmosphere was pleasant with a live bad and music playing afterwards. Decor is lovely and cosy. Beer sangria was very good i definitely recommend it. Parking: Small lot to the right of the building

First visit to this branch! I had already been to the brewery in Griffintown and found the beer delicious. The one in Dorval offers the same delicious beer but with a complete food menu. We have adored! Everything was delicious and fresh. Excellent and fast service. The decoration is magnificent! Candles and plants everywhere, the space is big! We are definitely going back there very soon!!

Beautiful spot in the West Island. Great food and the beers are amazing! The service was very good as well, we were greeted with a smile and were seated right away. I look forward to my next visit to 4 Origines (Hopefully sooner rather than later).

I found the waitress very sassy (blonde in her forties). She has become very comfortable with her job that she begins to lose sight of the importance of maintaining respect for customers.

The West Island is evolving - the brands beer has proven itself over the years, and this place just brings everything to the next level. The food is sophisticated bar food that has clearly been crafted by someone who cares; microgreens, beautiful plating and creative dishes. The staff is also amazing. The beers and bill are brought right away, while the pacing for plates is appropriately timed. The type of place where you never feel bothered by your waiter, and youre also never caught trying to get their attention (Justin has served us twice and is extremely friendly and good at his job).

I had really nice time with my friends, our waitress (blonde hair with bangs) was great and accommodating! Highly recommend trying the loaded fries :)) the atmosphere was cozy, perfect setting for a girls night out

Stopped by late afternoon with my pint sized partner for a snack and a beer. Had a high chair available for the little one. Servers were welcoming and accommodating, and food was super quick to come out. Took advantage of the pizza lunch special that runs until 5pm which is awesome. Will be sure to return to explore more of the menu. It s a real hidden gem in the West Island.

We were very hungry when we got there. Unfortunately, both pizzas and fries were disappointing. The mushroom pizza was better than the sausage and broccoli pizza but still there wasn t enough toppings.. The crust was good though! The cheese used for sausage pizza was so weird and covered all our mouths, didn t leave any chances to enjoy the rest. As a cheese lover, even we didn t like whatever cheese was put on this pizza. The fries weren t good either. It had the smell of reused oil. I don t know what but they didn t taste fresh. The fries waited on the counter for about 5-10 minutes when they were preparing the pizza. So they weren t hot when served. The two beers out of three didn t pass the test either. It was a disappointing experience with the food given that the staff and atmosphere were nice. Vegetarian options: Pizzas have vegetarian options.

Had a wonderful evening there with family over the holidays. Great food and beers!! Will definitely be returning. They were also super helpful with our seating arrangements as we need a bit of special treatment because of a medical condition. They never once made us feel out of place. We were traveling home to New Brunswick and found this place by accident and, are we ever glad we did! Josh and Jasmine were absolutely phenomenal, super friendly and amazing service. Manager Genvieve was great with her team and was a pleasure to talk to. Food was also delicious! They definitely knock customer service out of the park and I will be back everytime I am in Montreal!

Good beers, good atmosphere, a little expensive food .but the most tiring thing is the waitress who keeps coming back to see if you want another beer! You will tell Émilie that extreme solicitation is tiring in the long run! There was even confusion with another waitress and our work colleague had the same order twice! . Some of us wanted to leave early and we ALL received a bill?! I didnt understand the goal??

I liked it, great experience. Food and drinks tasted awesome. Service could have been better. It was a busy night and I understand it can be a lot. We were a bigger group so bills can get confusing at times. I think their system could be changed to alleviate bill/order mix ups. I also think maybe fixing a waiter/waitress per table. We had about 3 different employees running our table per time. I orders for mixed up and our bills got mixed up as well. Which took longer at the end of the night to remediate. Food tasted really good for the price. If youre a foodie and you take dessert: I personally dislike when you have to guess what the item is for dessert based on titles written on a chalk board. I prefer reading all my ingredients before choosing what Id like to order. Nice atmosphere. Good music very millenial.

Great beer, delicious meal. Nice addition to the West of the island. We will be back Favorite for West by South West beer. We got the cauliflower tostada and crispy chicken burger from the regular menu and the bison tartare from the daily menu. All great!

Superb discovery! Great service, delicious food, good beer choices and affordable prices. Really interesting modern and industrial design with lots of potential for receptions and events. I highly recommend the place. Perhaps it is simply better to indicate the front door because for someone who does not know the area it is easy to go straight through.

Had supper here recently. Great choice of pub food. We had the shepherds pie, burger with loaded fries and steak frites. The food was very tasty, good quality of ingredients. I asked for my steak medium rare but it came fairly well done but it was still very good and I would order it again. The choice of beer is vast. We had a beer sampler to try several types and they were varied and excellent. I would definitely go back.

Though we were a big group (unexpected) service was a little slower, but the staff more than made up for it with complimentary beer, free dishes etc. By far the most sympathetic and friendly staff in the west Island.

I just wanna say that my girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for their Saint-Patricks day menu and music, and I absolutely loved every bit of it. The manager was kind enough to allow us to have a table without reservation, which was very nice. And from there, we were met by this extremely good waiter (I believe his name was Justin) who walked us through the different beers they had and was very accommodating to any request we made with respect to dinner. The particular menu item they had for Saint-Patricks day, the Sheppards pie, was the best shepherds pie I have ever had. The lamb was perfectly cooked, and the potatoes were insane. The crispy onions took it over the edge. Whats more, when we were done with our exceptional evening, my girlfriend accidentally left her purse at the table as we walked out of the restaurant. The manager ran out with the purse to meet us outside! Just a great group of people. I absolutely loved this place and will absolutely make a point to return. I wish them all the best!

A hidden little gem in the West Island. Didn t expect this place to be so good! The food was delicious and the decor is so nice too, super friendly staff. We had a pizza and a pear grilled cheese sandwich, we both loved our plates! Can t wait to go back.

Great experience at this new location, and expected nothing less after attending the downtown one since they opened. Food was delicious, and looking forward to sampling more of the extensive menu. Good beer selection, though unfortunately they were out of their 2 most popular ones on our last visit. Definitely will be going back! Interesting new brewery in the area. The staff is friendly but a little slow on certain points, such as glasses which take time to clear. Food wise, its ok but nothing more. I found that the shrimp roll lacked a lot of flavor and that it was quite expensive for the quantity on the plate. The restaurant has just opened so I imagine there are little things to improve, but despite all that I recommend the place.

Nice, interesting new place in the area! My pizza was excellent. Small downside, its very echoey! You could add floating acoustic panels like at the Relais Boréale in Montreal :)

I dont come out to the West Island often, so I was happy to check 4Os sister facility, because the original in PSC is one of my hangouts. Very different from the original, this has definitely a more polished, US style brewpub feel, looks amazing! Good variety of beers, different styles and one off collaborations. The food menu is great, we split the spicy fritters, the buratta salad and lobster/shrimp rolls. Everything was tasty, my only gripe was that we didnt taste the lobster, felt like it was all shrimp. Nevertheless it was delicious. Service was excellent. We were lucky to snag seats at the bar, pretty much the whole place was reserved on a Friday evening. Great upscale place (not a cheap night out), perfect to bring a date. Parking: If you come early, no problem to park on the street or in their lot.

Great menu. Decent beer. Three stars because I called ahead to ask if I could bring the dogs. They said yes, on the terrace. When I get there the manager said that dogs were not allowed, but would make an exception because it was not busy. So yeah, if you don t have dogs, a pretty decent place. If you do gave dogs, don t go here.

Very good selection of beer as expected, and the food is very tasty. Servers are all super friendly and energetic. Its a bit loud inside at peak times, so if you want a quieter experience go earlier. They always have something new to try which is great, and the beer flight is a great way to sample a lot of their stuff. Pizza was delicious and unique. They have a kids menu as well which is great, just ask the server. Kid-friendliness: Inexpensive kids menu is available.

Good food, good service, good beer!

THe beer store is open for business. The beer production is underway and a taproom and restaurant is open. Very nice selection of beverages, merch. Food is exceptional.

This is our first time eating there. Didnt disappoint! Even though we hadnt booked in advance, we felt very welcome and well looked after

We are so pleased that this place has opened on the West Island! The food is amazing and Chef Natasha is always serving new items, the favourites are still there but she add new things often. We go at least twice a month so have tried many different things on the menu. The beer selection is outstanding as are the cocktails. Service is excellent. There is something for everyone, even the kids! Kid-friendliness: There is a great kid s menu.

It was good, nothing more, nothing less. The food is a bit pricey considering its not particularly great, but not bad either. A bit the same for the service, not particularly good and fast, but not bad either. It would be nice if they had regular sized burgers on the menu, they only have double meat which makes for a bit large portions. They have good beers!

After being seated, it takes 15-30 mins for a waiter to come see you even if its not busy. Drinks are amazing and food is pretty good. Worth the visit if you can deal with the slow service.

Beautiful spot. Open concept but still warm & friendly. The beers are so unique and tasty, wish I had time in Mtl to sample them all. And the food! Nicely varied menu and absolutely delicious. The cauliflower tostada is a must-have! Cheers to a fabulous addition to Dorval

Wonderful service, spacious, fresh clean bright atmosphere inside (havent been on their terasse), quite affordable with many beer options, delicious sourdough pizza! Highly recommend, and look forward to my next visit there.

Atmosphere was very pleasant they have a great selection of beer and other unique beverages. Their food menu is not vast but the food was excellent. I had a fig and leek pizza with blue cheese and was delicious. Nice doing list playing and music was not so loud that we could still hear each other talk. Overall great experience! Vegetarian options: Many options Kid-friendliness: There were several well behaved children present.

We held a company lunch/afternoon at Origine Brass and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff was lovely, the food was fantastic (we were truly blown away by how delicious and fresh it was), and the beer was of course as stellar as ever. We ordered the group tasting menu, and the portions were huge (in addition to being delicious), and very reasonably priced. The afternoon was topped off with an awesome tour of the brewery by the owner. Ive received tonnes of great comments from my staff. Overall a 12/10 experience - we will definitely be back!

No one at work knew the place, I had heard good things so decided to have our 5@7 there. Every one loved it. Thank you for everything. They accommodated us (less alcohol, more food) and service was excellent.

Food options are great and frequently changing, so there is a good variety and always something new. Everything tastes awesome too. Beer is good but 4 Origines could use some new choices. Their collaboration beers are typically better and they always have other breweries beers on the menu, but never available or in stock.

Been vegetarian for 10+ years and I can say that their veggie burger is one of the Best Ive ever had and Ive had plenty! The combo tofu/sweet and sour sauce is just amazing. I wish I would of had it sooner I need this in my life. Plus they do tater tots to perfection! Their brownie dessert is SO yummy. 10/10 for the food and drinks! Although I wish they had more options for non alco beer! Oh and the staff are very helpful and sweet!

Nice Atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. Our table had a good selection of food and drink. I would recommend the meat lovers pizza but not the margarita. Cheese burgers were good and so was the fries. Chicken burger had a bit to much sauce on. Drinks wise the IPA was good but the cider was poor. Probably in the bottom 4 I have tried in Montréal.

Some of the best pasta ive eaten. Very cool atmosphere, great music and amazing beer.

Excellent service!! You have to ask for the Dominion IPA while you still have it. treat yourself while it happens. there wont always be some of this juicy collaboration

Really terrible service here, we waited 20 mins to be served then another 30 just to get pint of beer. Theres over 7 staff members on the floor and half tables arent full. The waiters are bunched up in a corner chatting. Never coming back here again.

Went for lunch on saturday november 25th and everything was fantastic. They even brought out crayons for my son to draw with. The beer selection was great too. Try the chicken burger and loaded fries.

My experience at 4 Origins was amazing! The loaded French Fries was the best poutine I have ever had- I also loved the pairing with a glass of Botanik beer, I can t recommend enough!!!

THis newly open gem of a resto/ micro brasserie they will do gangbusters on the West Island. Smiling dedicated staff and pleasant clean crisp wharehouse decor makes it so appealing.

Good beer & good food

Very good experience! Efficient and friendly staff. The pizza and cocktail were very tasty. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is super pleasant. I will return there as much for a drink with lovers as for a moment with family

We went 2 couples on a Saturday evening and sat outside. Nice atmosphere and fun selection of beers. I had an IPA flight. We had pizza and the grill cheese. Both were great!

4 Origines knocks it out of the park with this new brewery and resto that has a level of food experience like no other in the West Island. I loved this. Very nice place! The waiter were very welcoming! Big smiles, i like that. I only took two entrees but they were delicious! The fried avocado was absolute heaven ! I will definitely go back!

A brand new bar in the West Island that adds some Griffintown style from their flagship spot along the canal, 4 origins. The food is amazing and you ve got access to tons of amazing draft beers. Fair prices as well. Truly hope this spot flourishes!

Always good beers with this brewery. The terrace is relaxed and after the surrounding shops close, the street is no longer busy, which is even better. The poppers are very spicy, and the pogos really delicious. Inside you can see the tanks and the decor is really Sharp!

I was expecting more seeing the reviews. The service was extremely slow. Food and beer were mediocre at best. I dont think that I will go back.

Very nice place, great waiter, lots of choice of beer and other drinks, the dishes were super good and superb value for money, I recommend!

Good Service

Beautiful outdoor terrace! Inside it is very modern and beautiful! We can see the large vats behind the bar. Good selection of beers and they have a restaurant menu. Its very good and well presented! Professional and kind waitress. We feel comfortable. We will go back!

As originale 4 origine customers from the start, we where disappointed with the service and the quality of the food at this new location. Although a great atmosphere the service was extremely slow and we where only 2 tables inside. We ordered the same beer twice and they where inconsistent in taste and appearance. My pizza dough was half raw not edible and extremely wet. So not so appetizing. Date was August 27th around 4pm. Was expecting greater things after talking with one of the owners. We will be back but we will wait and give the establishment time to adjust to the new business.

Recently discovered this hidden jam and I love it. Their beer is very good (and Im not even a beer person). The service was outstanding, our waiter was great. You should also try their home chips, those are the best. My new favorite spot!

Food is insanely good for a brewery I got surprised IMO. On top of that the beer is godly awesome!

This place is a great addition to the West Island food and drink scene. The atmosphere is industrial and grand. The beers are made in house with great flavors (especially the sours). The food is also delicious, although wouldve preferred my fried chicken sauce on the side to prevent it from getting soggy. Great for large groups, events or a night out with friends. We will definitely be back, especially in the summer when the terrasse is open.

Service mediocre. We were constantly ignored by our waitress. It was really hard to get her attention. Its weird because the bar wasnt even that occupied. Besides that, the food was really ordinary, or at least what I ordered - the mushroom pizza. With a 4.7 review on Google I was expecting it to be a memorable meal, but it was quite the opposite - it was disappointing - and I am not the only who shared that opinion. Another person in my group ordered that meal and she was disappointed as well. Some people ordered a chicken salad and said it was way too salty. We were in general not really fans of the meals. Drinks on the other side were amazing and the atmosphere was good, but I would not come again.

Very friendly restaurant/brewery, the dishes are exquisite, carefully executed using excellent quality ingredients. And all at a very affordable price! Thanks for the good service, we will be back!
