Option for Chinese & Sichuan buffet, as well as an à la carte menu of standard picks & combo meals.
We love Chows, have been ordering for many years. But last night something was off. The hot and sour soup was like sludge. Flavour was all hot, no sour. It used to be so good. Please go back to that recipe. Other dishes were just okay.
Ordered Takeout for the first time. Food was at par or below hospital quality food. Never again. Not sure how this place is still in business.
Love this place been going there for many years, everyone is friendly and the food is great!
I have ordered many times from chows and was always satisfied. Tonight’s experience was awful. We ordered a number 7 for 2and the only edible food was the spareribs. The pineapple chicken was extremely tough , soo guy was very oily and tasted off, the rice was bland and the egg rolls were inedible. I called to inform them not asking for anything and was told oh well same chef. Never again! We have both felt nauseous and ate very little throwing out most on our plates and intending to bring rest back to chows so they can eat it!
I have never posted a bad review but this place did not give me a choice. Highly disappointed! WORST CHINESE FOOD EVER! No chicken in chicken fried rice, rice is old and bad quality. Chicken noodles is full of sprouts and no noodles. They use old meat and bad quality ingredients. And when you try to give them feedback, they just don’t care. Please go to any Chinese takeout place except this and save your money. HORRIBLE FOOD!
They wouldn’t take our reservation because they said they never re-opened after Covid which is absurd because the pandemic was over years ago. We ate there years ago and liked it and now want to go again but they said thhey don’t serve customers in th restaurant because they seem to think there is still a pandemic! I t was over years ago and we eat out at a restaurants all the time.please re-open I’m sure you’re losing business
Hadn't eaten there in a really long time and I went back lately. Still pretty good. It's still really surprisingly the same if you have a craving for some good old Chinese food in all the typical takeout or buffet food. Typical Chinese food that everyone's used to the egg rolls are awesome. Everything is good except maybe the chicken soup guy. Some of that great. It was a bit hard. We ordered it once. It was a great ordered it once. It was really terrible. Everything else was good. We had like a dinner with multiple items and we even added more and everything was good except for them. Like I said, chicken soup guy and I don't know the first time this chicken soupai was great. The second time the chicken soup guy was hard like rock and it was not edible. It's a little bit pricey but I mean when is Chinese food not expensive right? So I would say just order. It's been awhile. You've been there the craving Chinese food, the egg rolls, the chicken fried rice. Things like that are awesome. The egg rolls are really good. The chicken fried rice is really good. The pineapple chicken is really good. The chicken chow mein is very good and the garlic spare ribs are awesome but anyways I would say go try it get out of the house. It's been awhile since you've had it. Go try it. You have the craving for Chinese food. This will definitely get your craving to go away. Order some sauces. Don't forget the OD beef macaroni is very good too. And yeah everything is good except the chicken sugai so order call me. She's the owner there. She'll help you and write a review. It's indoor valve or Val circle. If you go to dorval circle, just take doraville avenue South and it's going to be on your left on the east side of the doraville avenue right across from the Maxi of the Walmart so you can't miss it. Go get it something there. It's worth it. Enjoy
Always tasty food...this time my eggrolls werent as good but I've never had that issue in the past! Delivery is always super fast and driver is very friendly. I Recommend.
Been a go to for 40 years
I ve been going here for 35+ years My favourite Asian restaurant Food
Really good food
Went with friends on a Wednesday- it was closed! Closes every Wednesday then opens only for take out (pick-up) and delivery. NO INSIDE EATING anymore according to an employee that happened to be there checking on the place.
received visibly inedible overcooked food, i cant believe a hard blackened meal shows respect for the people who order, please do not encourage this restaurant
The best Chinese food in Dorval and the West Island,
Very good THANK YOU.
No longer have indoor dining, disappointing. When they had it the atmosphere was nice...
Sorry folks, since the Pandemic, no more buffet or Dining room, just take-out or delivery.
Delivered promptly and the food is always amazing!
A real disappointment!!! The welcome is cold and the service very poor. The waitresses without a smile, inattentive and unprofessional. The food is just the worst in Asian. The dishes arrived 30 minutes late
We went here for the buffet, as google suggested it to us as a good one, but upon arrival, the place looked abandoned, the front door wasnt even open and we had to go through a side door, only to be told there was no buffet, not since the start of COVID. We drove all the way from Brossard too. Apart from all that the lady who told us about the buffet was nice, though we didnt eat there so I dont know if that counts for much as we only stayed for 2 minutes after she told us
the best Chinese restaurant ever, I love it and always order here, its the only place where I like to eat Chinese
This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The rice was uncooked. It was supposed to be fried rice but what was delivered was tasteless color rice. Some of the items we ordered for were different from what were delivered. This is a horrible experience for me and my family
Take out with the regular combos and youll be safe. Trail off the beaten path and it gets weird. Food : 5/5
Been doing take out for 30+ years! Always good, always reliable!!
Growing up my parent always ordered out here. For new years and any possible occasion. I took it for granted. Now that I m older, it s impossible to find that pure American Chinese takeout. I drive 50km round trip to get that perfect carry out! It s so good and reminds me of my childhood. The owners think I m insane to travel that far, but trust me, if you want that comfy perfect takeout, it s worth the mileage and I ll do it until the day I go. It s that good. By the way, if you take a dinner for 2, you ll have enough to feed 4, but you may just want to keep the leftovers for the days to come. :0) Eric approved!!!!
Christmas day tradition for take out. Food was delicious..
It is illegal in quebec to require a minimum of 12$ purchase to pay by debit. Which is what this restaurent demanded, after i ordered 2 wonton soups and came to pick my order up, was forced to buy more to be able to make a debit payment. Soups were ok, nothing special. Service was bad. Got food from them before wasnt too good, plenty of MSG in their food.
Taste and quality of food is not like it used to be.
This place will give you food poisoning!
Chows is hit or miss. One night the general Tao is to die for, the next time its terrible. The portions are large and you can order a meal for two for four people easily.
First and last time
Had the #2 dinner for two, most of meal was Great but ribs need to be improved Won ton and hot and spicey soups were both in excellent. Will go back.
The restaurant and buffet has been closed since the pandemic. Takeout order only, entrance is on the right side of the building. We took combo #3. The rice was dry but everything else was good. The owner is very nice and likes to chat. First time for my wife and not the last.
Ive been eating at Chows for over three decades and over the years it has changed a bit. They no longer have a buffet or dining area, but the takeout is as good as ever. The best thing on the menu is their egg rolls, in my opinion. Amazing. I also quite like the breaded shrimp. Their General Tao Chicken is also quite good, its not as overly sweet and ketchupy as some places make it. As far as fast food Chinese goes, I dont really think you get much better in the area. Highly recommended.
The worst Chinese ever
Chows has the best egg rolls !! Great food!!
Typical Chinese Takeout... Nothing special...
Ordered this evening for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Not a fan of takeout generally but will definitely be a repeat customer. It is no wonder why they have been open for decades... really pleased!
My favorite place to eat Chinese food.
The best egg rolls known.
Please renovate your building
Ordered almost $50 food on Saturday and only the soup and egg rolls were edible! The sesame chicken and so guy we re overcooked and extremely dry as was the chicken fried rice! Had used this service in the past but this order was unacceptable and disappointing. When I called to complain no suggestion of a refund offered. I will never order from here again! M Hunt
I rarely eat at the buffet. I always take out. Food is hot and ready to go in 30 minutes usually.
Great local, long time established resto, tried it again this past Saturday and 100% did not disapoint. Always had a great eggroll and still does. Old fashioned chinese food as it used to be.
We were very disappointed with our order from Chows. The chicken chop suey was anything but a chop suey: it was just a hot soy salad bathed in (very salty) water with a few small pieces of chicken (we even found bones!). The taste is not good at all. Same for white rice: I never thought white rice could be so bad! We were also surprised to have to pay 3 dollars to have it delivered to the hotel even though the flyer, found at the hotel, and the advertisement on the invoice clearly announce that delivery is free (see photos). Even though we pointed this out during delivery, we were forced to pay the excess. Which is unacceptable given that the restaurant is in the same city and given the false advertising. In addition, we were not able to eat our meal, it was inedible and this is not tolerable. We would still like to thank the delivery man who was pleasant and who tried to help us, unfortunately without success given the lack of attention to the restaurants customers. I really hope that the managers will improve the service and the cuisine in the future!
Food is always excellent, arrives hot, and the portions are generous. Delivery typically takes about an hour, so plan around that, its worth it. Food
This place used to be a place to go for good value in a great little Buffet. Now theres no more buffet and only a skeleton of what used to be I thought a great restaurant with good value was an unfortunate loss.
I got 4 shrimps and one tub of hard rice fir $45 Egg rolls are left over. Single serving of sauce. Go hungry or try scores across the street and the driver smelled of Alchol too Food
Reception lady is nice, but the food is disgusting! General Tao tastes stinky and fishy. Ribs are the same. Was better before, we quit on them. Food
Avoid at all costs. The owner is the absolute worst!such a rude lady. Worst experience I have ever encountered. No customer service. Called a liar for simply asking if they changed suppliers as noodles were thick and slimy (I get the crispy Cantonese) all customers next to us agreed that they even smelt disgusting. Place is also outdated and not clean.
One of my old favorites, no longer open for dine in. Take out only available at lunch time. Food is still good.
Love the food love the place love the staff
Seriously, don t even try, waste of money and risking health
No more Buffet
Excellent won ton soup, egg rolls and plum sauce. The other dishes are pretty good too when you want Chinese.
last 3 times ordering from here was terrible. order wasnt correct all 3 times and quality was horrible. I used to order from here every month or so and was great but the last 6 months it has been totally different. I will never order from here again. very bad!
BLAND, TASTELESS. A WASTE OF MONEY We picked up 70$ of food and at least $60 of it ended up in the garbage. Won ton soup: how can you mess up a won ton soup? Tasted of absolutely of nothing. We added 2 packets of soya sauce to try to help. Egg rolls were so so. Garlic spare ribs: ribs were meaty but the sauce was more like a thick brown gravy and didnt taste garlicky. We usually like to pour some on our rice and could not as it was so thick and tasteless. Chicken Chow Mein was also tasteless. Rice was BLAND. Beef broccoli: broccoli barely steamed and the beef was soaked in water, no brown sauce. Again BLAND! We took an extra plate of Singapore noodles: grainy, usually with pieces of pork and shrimps. No pork. It seemed to be what something looking like chicken. All in all that definitely was our last time there and do not recommend unless you like hospital tasting food. Unfortunate as it used to be very good.
Egg rolls are better than any other Chinese around they havent changed in the 30 years Ive been eating them. The garlic spare ribs are delicious. Everything else is kind of your typical Chinese food. If youre an Egg roll and garlic spare ribs fan they do them great here! Lady who works the phones needs to learn some manners.
Truly terrible. Ordered with door dash, first time using, we always tip on Uber Eats after delivery (to ensure it s good food!), so when the driver arrived and told us off for not tipping them stormed away from the door - great way to get a tip! Second point is the food - we threw most of it away, the chicken fried rice contain no chicken but at least was edible; the chicken chow main contain THREE NOODLES and the rest bean sprouts, one small piece of chicken; the garlic ribs pure fat and also inedible; the springs rolls were flat, essentially empty and burnt deep fried. Worth zero stars.
Nice owner. Food is consistent. Some portions quite small like chicken soo guy paperthin chicken portion. But overall quite good chinese food.
Great food and great service
Been ordering for 20 years + . Called to tell them how terrible the food was this time . Couldn t cut any of the meat with a steak knife ! Dry , chewy , microwaved And delivered . Bye Bye Chows Mr Spicy is way to go!
Always amazing food, a West Island institution!
I gave this joint 2 stars because of the egg rolls. The rest is trully forgettable.Best and I mean best tasting Chinese food is Mirama on Somerled and Cavendish.Cantonese style food prepared in searing hot!!!! Woks.
Great experience! Ordered for my mom s eightieth birthday party for 10 people! Everything was great, hot, and delicious! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has to feed a group. More than enough food and it was fresh and tasty!
Great old-school food and exactly what we wanted. Generous portions, and the Garlic shrimp and Cantonese chicken with shrimp were outstanding. Super-nice people to top it off. Picked up and was ready within a half hour. Thank you Chow s!
Been eating here for over 20 years - love this place. Pretty standard Chinese food but always well prepared and tasty.
Super good but very outdated!
Dont be fooled by its appearance. Chows has great food, affordable, fast food. Always a great option for Chinese food!
Still operating under covid fear.
Please note that this restaurant is closed for business. I just walked there from my hotel and it is history. I had instead an excellent West Coast Cobb salad at Nickel across the street.
This place has been around since the 60s... With good reason! This restaurant is an old family favourite on the West Island, and we still order takeout from Chows when we get together. The food is always fresh and tasty, and piping hot! Theyre really good about having your order prepared for you at a specific time of you call ahead. Our usual order is Dinner #6 for two, which feeds FOUR of us, for under ten bucks each! Their prices are very reasonable, considering the amount of food you get! Family owned and run, everyone is very friendly. The sit-in dining room, which has changed little since its opening, is something to behold, beautifully decorated with bamboo and antique (now) Chinese decor. The buffet is perfect for a quick lunch, but I recommend ordering from the menu for dinner.
The quality price is excellent. Lady at the from desk is very nice and polite. Good Canadian Chinese food. Order to go!
What a disappointment even the white rice was disgusting.
Terrible flavour of the food. Do not recommend this place
I ordered here 4 to 5 a year its always been good but this time around just not good chow mein one piece of chicken same for the chicken fried rice there was one piece of chicken same for diced almond chicken if you are advertising chicken put some chicken please try to amuse me Soup was good and hot and eggs rolls delicious ribs were good delish
The food here is not fresh, not very authentic and tastes bad. I would recommend going to chinatown, the restaurants are much better there!
Only takeout is open Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all Food : 5/5 |
Dining room closed, take out our delivery only. The food was excellent and the prices good as always. Parking: Lots of spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible due to stairs.
Everything we have ordered is fresh and delicious. THANK YOU :)
Take out only, dining room closed. The food was absolutely excellent. Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly it is Inaccesible. Food : 5/5 |
Great Great Great place! Consistently good at even better prices.
Great size servings, on expensive side $40-45 for 2, delivery may take up to an hour but you are warned, food quality is good. Overall I give Chows a 4 star! Hot n Sour soup has some shredded chicken in it!!! Jumbo breaded shrimp are great get a 1/2 portion to try them out. Egg rolls a great comes with some meal options like the (TV dinner #14) General Tao chicken with white rice. The general tao chicken is made different here, has a darker sauce and breaded chicken not as crispy as other places but its my go to dish here because its good in its own way. Girlfriend gets the (TV dinner #7) brown gravy ribs/chicken fried rice and wonton soup she gives 4 stars also.
The food is always excellent, but I find it disappointing to see your delivery person without a mask during delivery. Please you should require all your delivery people to wear a mask. THANKS
Seems like a family business. Food could be a little better
good fast asian food..good price..takeout easy..nice family joint
Terrible and dirty food Rude momy awnsering the phone
Always good! Always a treat!
Very dirty food leave at room temperature
The food is not very fresh
REALLY NOT STRONG I ORDERED THE PU PU DISH IT TASTED ALL THE SPARERIBS SAUCE MIX IT ALL TOGETHER ITS DISGULASSE NEVER STINKS ILL CALL THE EURK
Best eggrolls!
Dining room closed but great takeout Very fresh and tasty and plenty.of.it
Been there forever, food is still great
Always great food and great service. What more can you ask for!
First time trying everything was hot and delivery wasnt very long
Ordered Dinner #6 today for delivery. Friendly person on the phone took our order and it was delivered to Pte-Claire in 40 mins. Hot and delicious as usual. Best egg rolls I ve ever had. Thanks Chows!
Wow! A little gem in the West Island! Yes due to covid-19, it s only take out and deliveries. It s worth it. The reception is professional, humorous and easy going, and all done with speed. Considering she was slammed with calls and two walk-in clients plus my student and I. Dai-Sau (the female receptionist), not her real name, just a polite way of addressing your female elders. All prepared in under 15 mins, felt less in actuality. The food was amazing, nothing too sweet. It s just full of flavour and huge quantities, to our surprise . Highly recommend! It s an iconic landmark, considering it s been around since 1961 (60 years of resturant business). That s impressive! Cheers!
We felt like Chinese food and decided to try Chows. We paid almost 100$ and we were extremely disappointed with the lack of freshness. The chicken soo guy and egg rolls were hard and it was obvious they were re-heated/fried. The general tao was a large clump of batter with a small piece of bone in it. A couple of pieces of broccoli had brown marks on them. I normally don t write bad reviews but we expected much better for what we paid for this meal
Didn t work - put in order for pick up and was not advised to pick it up. Please cancel me from this app
Dont go here if youre looking for healthy options. Its too delicious for you. Also be weary of the take-out portion sizes. Im gonna have leftovers for days.
Been enjoying CHOWS since the 80s and is the meal of many a family celebration. And the eggrolls? Hard to find better.
Fairly slow delivery. The burnt butterflied shrimp, with supposedly bacon, which we never found, my meal completed ok for me without more, I think the chef didnt often make these butterfly shrimp which also lacked brown sauce. On my next visit In this area, I will order elsewhere.
This is the greatest chines restaurant , I been going 39 years there, and still going. They are so fantastic the food. It is not big , they are so very nice.
Boone food, good price, I recommend
Love the cantonese chow mein and the chicken foo young is amazing, their shrimp in black bean sauce great tasting.
Its new years eve and we ordered chinese food they said it would probably be 2 hours ,we didnt mind. We were expecting mediocre food because they were so busy. It was a 2 hour wait and worth every second . Everything was fresh and fabulous I dont have even one complaint. Happy new years to everyone
For value you cant go wrong... cheap chinese food at a relatively cheap price... limited buffet but but but will get full easily.... same owner for 37++ years, same decor as well!!! Ok!
Food wasnt were good and dessert are little too much cooler
Food was good and the service was excellent.
My favourite Chinese buffet
Your classic tiki Canadian-Chineese restaurant. Buffet is small but have all the classic. Same owner and decor for many decade, dont expect fancy. However great food and amazing service.
We went for the evening buffet. The food was very good and the service was great! I dont know what I expected but the restaurant felt like a very comfortable neighborhood restaurant. Just what I needed on a chilly winter night...very welcoming!
Tiki paradise
They used to have fantastic food . This is my first time back in a few years and its terrible wont recommend it to anyone
Very cozy, kitschy vibe. Staff is A+ friendly and its hella cheap. The food quality is not amazing compared to some other places but great for the price.
Always good. Needs TLC but the food is great.
nice
Not to bad only buffet in dorval that im aware of price are a bit high
Great food but not the desserts and the restaurant was cold. People are great
I wanted to place an order from this restaurent they are charging delivery charge 3 dollar Plus they have minimum amount requirement which is 15 dollar If I am paying 3 dollar delivery charge there should not be any minimum amount set up on the order .I can not order more than one dish for my launch which is less than 15 dollar , I have no other choice to place the order from another restaurent . I am going to order from Amir or McDonald ,
The delivery driver was very rude and demanded his tip, thought he was going to fight me for a 4$ tip. His debit machine did not work obviously and kept demanding other debit cards as if i had alot of them. With This experience, never ask for delivery. Go get it yourself. But the boss was very kind, but i will not excuse the delivery man.
For the first time, I decided to order food online and I followed up on the phone because I was not sure if my order went through. The lady who picked up the phone was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She hung up on me not once, but THREE times when I was STILL talking. When I was asking questions about my food and the time when it will be delivered to the hotel, she was VERY condescending. You know who you are. I never write reviews and am very sympathetic towards food chain workers. But you really stood out.
Consistent quality for 50 + years
Website doesnt even work , phone staff is horribly rude also
This was actually the very first restaurant where I ever had Chinese food, of course this was back in 1984, I was living at a group home -- Allancroft, unit Woodside, in Beaconsfield, QC -- then, and we went to Chows for supper and then went to the Dorval cinema which is no longer there, we saw Conan the Destroyer. I loved the food, and we -- the group home -- went a few times throughout the 1980s, I think the last time may have been around 1987, but the food was still excellent. I then didnt go again until December of 1999, because I was no longer living in Quebec, and hadnt been since the early 1990s, the food was still excellent, and the Dorval cinema was still in operation, so I went to see Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo after I ate. I think why people are having issues with the place is the time they go there, certain times of the day may be better than others. And, my suggestion, dont do takeout, go directly there and order, because youll get better service!
food not authentic.. driver stole 10$ from me as i overpayed and he could have been honest since i did gave him a tip..lesson learned. when i call restaurant they say thats how chow restaurant is ..lol never again
Takeout service was confusing and self contradictory and the chow mein was too salty to eat. Otherwise good chinese food
I ordered via SkipTheDishes and I had to call them one hour later so they confirm my order. I ordered at 11:27am and it s now 1:42pm and I still haven t received my food! I called SkipTheDishes and canceled my order. Result: I m pregnant and I still haven t eat today. NEVER ORDERING THERE AGAIN.
Great service
I like to chow down at Chows
Its very good
I ordered here for yrs and use to love it, todays order was disgusting ... fried pork rice not fried, hot & sour soup had the constancy of jello and the rest of the order was very greassy .. i guess after more then 30 yrs ordering there this will be my last order .. i will have to trow most of my order down the toilet .. and they have the balls to sur charge $1.50 for using my debit card which they never did before.
Very fresh food
I went here as a kid a quite a few times, and even as a kid, who loved to eat at restaurants, there was always something about Chows. If you like a not-so-good greasy Chinese buffet than this is the place for you. Everything is quite oily, or not cooked well (never under cooked or raw, just not right). I ordered noodles once and parts of the noodled were burnt. Truly a place for those who dont care about quality.
Theyre very friendly and have great food. I especially love their fried rice and egg rolls.
Food is cheap and fairly consistent. Best eggrolls EVER
If your a cra ppy critic you need to go elsewhere. This place is amazing. Staff is great. Food is great. Everyone needs to have a taste.
A family favorite. Never disappoints. Always polite and efficient service.
Super delicious eggrolls. Reminded me of the ones my grandma used to make (with some help from me) at their Canadian chinese food restaurant in the South Shore. I drive in from West Island and order at least a dozen to go whenever Im in yhe area. Do your groceries at the Maxi across the street and before driving home, pick up a dozen (call ahead) and use side door for pickup during Covid.
Bro chows is the best for normal Chinese food, like 80s Chinese food. Everything youd want it to be.
Really good and fresh...someone had recommended the wonton soup, really delicious and traditional. Besides, they should include the soup in the combo.. Only thing, the pineapple chicken lacked taste. Otherwise I recommend! :)
Classic greasy American-Chinese food, the staff is great.
Your #1 stop for delicious Chinese food @ the West Island! Me and family usually go here for weekend brunch buffet, but due to the pandemic thats not possible anymore (we miss the interaction with the great staff @ Chows T_T); however they keep the same quality with their take-outs! So if you are craving for some authentic Chinese cuisine and you want to support a local business! This is the place to call or pick-up your lunch/dinner!
People prices are all the best here , amazing service even for delivery I gotta say they are well worth it to drive from Granby qc to Dorval
Delicious
Awesome food
Simple, no-frills buffet with 200,000 things, no. Just good Chinese like in the old days
Chows has been in business for about 50 years at this location. It is a survivor in dorval . The second owners have kept the interior the same way since the beginning and its like walking back in time of our youth , school days this was the go too place for lunch and as my own family loves it still. Its not a glamorous restaurant but it is friendly and food is perfect in my opinion as it has always been. Get there early on some days because it gets full . It was nice reminiscing with the new owners about the days when we were kids eating take out there and knowing that dedicated clientele are still flocking to eat here. They do speak several languages and for some peoples comments that they are to loud and sound like they are fighting in the kitchen then you have no idea what you are talking about! Thank you chows as Ill always be a dedicated customer. P.s try ordering on the menu since its an experience for different types of foods.
mediocre food that left me feeling sick paired with aggressively rude mediocre service
Manager/waiter person was very nice and tidy, packed up our leftover food for us. Food came quickly and was pretty good. Couldve been spicier (general tao)
Great
Good little Asian restaurant. The buffet is traditional and limited. Retro interior decor all veneered in bamboo wood. An old Chinese restaurant that defies time. The eggrolls they make are really delicious.
the food is very good and not so expensive
unfortunately, in the last decade, this once gem of dorval has gone downhill... the buffet is pitiful and the prices have not gone down. i was a regular 10 years ago and stopped eating there because the quality of the food drastically changed. please go back to old chows.
It s been awhile since I ordered from here. Unfortunately, it was just mediocre and not really worth the cost. General tao was quite salty and the meat was tough. Took exactly 1 hour for delivery which is kind of lengthy. With the added $3 delivery charge, it seems expensive. Chicken soo guy was soft to soggy, probably due to the long delivery time.
The service was horrible waited too long when I got service it was very short like I know what to do,it was my first time when I ask questions to the waitress its like the way she spoke to me like I know what to do and how to use your system,so when I ordered my food she charged me twice it was the worst experience Ive had going to a restaurant of any kind in Montreal never again will I go there or suggested to anyone
Delivery portion size is really big and all foods were tasty. Truly worth it compare to the price.
Great tiki decor and atmosphere makes you feel in another era completely. Food is typical Canadian Chinese food.
Go there often food good good service fast delevery
Not a large selection, but it was good.
Still so good
Cozy little place and friendly staff
Waited over an hour and a half for food to be delivered. When the hotel is only a 5 minute drive. Only to find out there was a portion missing. Called to make restaurant aware of their mistake. The receptionist wanted to argue telling me the whole order was sent. Not happy at all being ripped off. Lying theives!
Ate well, cheap for lunch
I have not ate at the restaurant myself but have ordered take out and was very satisfied it was ready fast and was piping hot and there was plenty to go around the menu is very agreeable to everyone the Gen Tao was excellent ...staff was quick to notice you and courteous..would recommend this to all....very nice choice from their menu. Went there last week with my parents and they loved the cantoneese chow mean. Huge plate for a bargain.
Very good food, buffet was fresh
Gross ewwww awful stay away
Attentive waiters but food on the buffet was tasteless and stodgy.
