Very Expensive for what it is. Dont waste your money and time.

The service was slow but fine. The butter chicken was $25 and the chicken had a texture somewhere between soft tofu and paneer. It was disgusting.

Waitress thought I was from Europe and lied about there being a minimum 15% tip and wanted me to pay for more tip after I had already paid. I wonder how many people fall under her scam. Then I mentioned a tip is optional and I gave as much as I thought it made sense (no matter what the % was). I would recoimend you go ask for a raise to your boss as opposed to putting clients into this awkward/funny situation. The chicken sandwich was not good, chicken had lots of water in it and she never bither to ask if the tio was maybe not as expected due to the quality of the food.

Pretty good dish, nice waitress, but forced to pay a minimum $4 tip on top of a poutine that costs twice its price. Being a student without a scholarship and working to pay for your studies, it stings.

Great waiter on the way there, very friendly, named Thierry! On the way back, one called Frank, much too greedy on tips to the point of threatening to take the drinks again

The waitress gave me a false tipping lesson by trying to raise my bill to 37 instead of $32. The problem is that I worked in the restaurant business for a long time and the tip is calculated before taxes and is at the discretion of the consumer. Unfortunately, no service, not a great tip (even though I gave). But no, the young lady gave me a little tantrum in front of everyone. Sorry, this is unacceptable

May 1, 24, around 6:10 a.m. No one in the restaurant, we sit down (2 people) and wait... 10 or 15 min... No coffee served, I had to ask for it twice.... Lunch; 1 egg, ham and 1 bread Golden; simply horrible. $35.50 without taxes. Had to wait several more minutes to get the bill and then pay. Terrible service. Other people arrived before we were served. They were served before us... For alcohol... In short, dont go to this restaurant...

It should be illegal as an Irish bar to pour a Guinness improperly. Spend the extra 30 seconds and do it right.

Why are ppl so mean with reviews?? Sauel was fantastic!! I just wanted to use this place as a lounge and sit in a quiet corner drinking water and coffee (cuz there was no poutine at that hour) and he was so kind. Tipped him 5x the amount. People be kind. The servers are just doing their best.

The food (Chicken Ceasar Salad) was average and the old fashioned was basically a glass of bourbon with an orange slice in it. Service was great though !

Great Beer, Amazing Poutine, and Even Better Service Hurley s in YUL is a gem! The beer is fantastic, the poutine is spot-on, but the real highlight was the waitress. She was running the place solo yet remained incredibly friendly, always smiling, and super helpful. Her energy made the experience unforgettable. Definitely worth a visit!

SKIP this place. Get a bagel nearby or something to go. Waited 20 minutes after being sat to place an order. Waited another 40 minutes for a burger and chicken tenders. Place was average busy, not crazy. I could have driven to a grocery store and cooked my own meal in less time. Subpar food, prices are really high for cafeteria quality basket food.

Horrible service. Came for drinks and were waiting for the bill for over an hour after wed finished drinking, meanwhile the table next to us had 6 people (we had 2), they came 20 minutes after us, ate and left a half an hour before us. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ive never noticed such an exhausted staff in a restaurant before. The staff themselves are excellent, despite this though. Shame on the management for not addressing this issue since it seems others have made similar observations in their reviews.

Food (calamari) was actually decent for the airport but the dog shit bar service from George was far from that. Rude and inattentive.

I used to love stopping at Hurley s when flying out for business but today s experience was way below standard. The French dip sandwich was served on soggy sliced bread instead of the usual baguette it was awful! I asked about it and was told that was now how it was served so patrons should probably avoid it from now on. The service was also very slow. Once I requested the bill, it took a good 20-25 mins for the server to come for payment. Very disappointing, especially considering the 50$ bill for a soggy sandwich and a ceasar.

Expect the saddest most over-priced Montreal smoked meat sandwich on white toast! (Not rye as the menu suggest) with sad side fries. You don t want to have that just before flying! Food

Absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Was seated at the bar and waited 15 minutes to be served, meanwhile other customers who were seated later were served before me. I ordered a drink and food at the same time. After waiting 25 minutes I noticed people who came in after I ordered my food were being served food. I had been on a 13 hour flight and had 3 hours more to go before my final destination. I was famished and they totally sucked at their duty as an airport restaurant. Horrible experience and all awhile I had to watch Canadian hockey.

What terrible service. The restaurant was empty, there were 5 of us, only 3 people wanted to eat. The waiter refused to serve us but he didnt tell us. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked him when he was going to bring our coffees and it was only then that he told us that he was refusing us as a customer because there had to be more than 3 of us eating. What a bad trader...

Easily the rudest and worst service Ive had, ever. Server made a face at my friend who didnt want to order anything because she gets ill on flights, and then proceeded to ignore us. She was more concerned about printing everyones bills than serving anyone. Servers also didnt work together. Was obvious tension between them. Miserable woman.

Sat down for 20 minutes waiting for anyone to come over and take our order. I was on a swivel trying to flag anyone down and no one ever came. We both just got up and left lol

Located in the US-bound area. Absolutely slammed when we were there at dinner time. YUL needs more dinner options in this area (ideally fast food to turn over people as kitchen was taking 30+ min when we were there). Generally have low expectations for airport food but this was pretty solid, would go back if I were in YUL again.

A disgusting place with no values. I sat there to have a drink at the bar. The bartender told me that I must drink an alcoholic drink or i need to eat something if i want to stay. People are getting only beers and they were staying there.

We decided to order food from them because we wanted to sit on their tables. As soon as we finished our food they asked us to leave and they insisted although there were still empty tables. The proof is in the photos. Stay away from these money grabbers.

Horrible service. Stood there for 5 minutes. The guy looked at me from2 feet away and ignored me. All the staff has time to talk. The place was half empty.

Upon arrival, the table reeked of old rags. I told the waiter and he said it was the kind of sanitary cleaner they use. Haha funny. So I had to clean it MYSELF! Very bad food. The place has a nice view of the planes. The food was average, but the service was not good. You had to look for the waiter to ask for essential things like napkins, cutlery or the bill. They never removed the dirty dishes. We wanted to order more drinks, but we lost the desire with all this. To pay the bill, the waiter left the terminal for us and we had to collect ourselves.

Very slow to be seated, very slow to have our drink order taken, Burgers were terrible fries half burnt and tiny, walked by the kitchen after eating and saw why the food was bad, 3 workers busy chatting away standing in a circle. Decided not to tip because of all of this bill was close to $60. waiter ask me why I didnt tip I listed the reasons above and he tried telling me a sob story on how in canada they dont get paid unless you tip. I told him live in canada actually (with my irish accent) and thats not true and its quite rude to ask why someone isnt leaving a tip.

Easily the worst Nachos Ive ever had the misfortune to order. Somehow both burnt and cold on delivery, with maybe a pinch of grated cheese. Added the guac for an additional $3 which turned out to be a thimble full of green gloop. Airport food is usually bad but this was hall of fame stuff. The example that all bad restaurants and bars will be measured against going forward. Swerve the Guinness too unless you want a straight pour with all the life of a delayed air traveler

Had their smoked meat poutine and it was fine. Part of it was kinda cold but tasted good still. Service was pretty crappy. Very much against communicating in English and make you feel like youre bothering and/or theyre on a rush. The same does not happen id you speak french. The looks and atmosphere is fine.

The food was quite average and so was the service. The server already added the 15% tip to the bill and told us to tap our card on the machine, as if this was first restaurant we ever visited! Definitely would not consider coming back.

Good club sandwich on fresh baguette style bread , fast service

Cafeteria style plastic plates. We receive exactly what we order. No small foliage or slices of fruit, the plate is bare. We drink our coffee while waiting for our order. No way to have one more drop! Were really going there, out of necessity!

In a terminal apparently full of terrible options, this is one of them. The Plaza Premium lounge wouldnt accept my Capital One card. I almost got ribs at the other sitdown place next door, but a local eating there said she regretted it and sent me here instead. Contrary to the other reviews, I actually had very friendly service. George, the bartender with the shaved head, was polite and happy to speak with me in English. The food, however, was among the worst Ive ever had in an airport. I got the beef dip and upgraded to a side of poutine for an extra 4CAD. They made a mistake and sent me fries instead. I got lucky in that respect, because the poutine was inedible. If your choices are going hungry or getting their poutine, consider staying hungry. The beef dip was literally roast beef on a baguette. Not even onions. I suspect it was microwaved because the bread came out too hot to touch. It also felt very greasy. Even the ginger ale didnt taste quite right. The disappointing fries were also the standout of the meal. It had better ambiance than the airport food court and George was lovely. But the main goal of a restaurant is to feed you, and at that, Hurleys fails miserably.

For an airport bar not bad!

Food was poor at best. We waited a long time after eating before we got the bill. We ended up walking up. There was four of us and we decided against tipping as we didn t feel our experience warranted one. After my two friends paid their bill, I went to pay mine and he selected a tip for me and said this is my salary you have to tip me over all a very negative experience don t recommend at all.

$22 for a mimosa... Its just ridiculous. I understand that we are at the airport, but frankly. In addition, you can clearly see on the menu that the new price has been added by hand on top of the old one. Disappointing.

Horrible service for Breakfast. I watched people who sat around me eventually moving to the bar to order. After I finally ordered and received food, it took over 25 minutes after I finished my breakfast and drink to waive down the bartender, who told me he wouldnt/ couldnt help in a matter of fact tone, then he waived down my waitress to pay. Others around me were waiting to pay as well, it wouldnt surprise me if anybody walked out without being noticed.

6:30 p.m. An old gentleman at the bar and a very welcoming young girl. And quickly, we realize that the old man is incapable of managing a half-full room and a bar with 7 people seated (double that is possible). He does not delegate to the young girl who greets him even though he is completely disorganized and overwhelmed. He takes care of orders, services and collection. Result: 10 minutes of waiting for the order, 10 minutes more to get our 2 beers and when we kindly ask for the drink which has not arrived, we are asked to be correct and wait again 5 minutes. The plate arrives at 7:05 p.m. The chicken strips are rock hard but the fries are super good. I wont come back if I see this gentleman. Being a Guinness lover, I am disappointed with my experience.

Had a very disappointing experience. I found the waiter extremely unpleasant/rude. Apparently customer service is not a requirement at the YUL airport Hurleys location. Not worth the inflated price. If you want to start your trip on a good note, please avoid this place!

I had low expectations as it is an airport affiliated pub but the service was amazing as was my food. They went out of their way to accommodate my vegetarian request and when deducted some price from the meal. The prices are also very reasonable considering it is an airport pub. Don t even bother to ask if they can cash your electronic Food Voucher you ve received from your airline company. Although you ve previously shown your waitress the cell phone coupon, they will tell you they can t cash it unless the coupon is printed on a papyrus . Unless you re traveling with your printer in your carry-on, go elsewhere. Hey! It s 2024 out there, printing a coupon while you re traveling??? Really?

Worst roast beef sandwich with au jus I have ever seen and had. Just bread and dry roast beef. No cheese no lettuce no tomato nothing. And an oily grease substance served as au jus. It was not deglazed properly. Server was understanding got us some mayo, lettuce and tomato stat with a poutine gravy to replace the slop we were given. Drinks were good. Food prices are just absurd for what you receive especially when Hurleys was always known for awesome food. Also the calamari tasted super fishy not in a good way

Flavour wise the food was ok at best. However I had to wait almost 20 minutes before someone finally came to take my order, only to be served a cold plate of poutine. I was then flagging down the waiter to pay my bill so I could leave and catch my flight, but he never looked in my direction and ended up at the bar. I flagged down the other waiter who was no help because he cannot take payments of tables that arent his. Ended up having to go to the bar myself and asking him to give me the bill. Terrible service

Rarely rude staff. Low voices, smirks, wondering what they are doing in customer service. Really surprising, especially since the manager seemed to condone the attitude of the staff. Confusing. From an experienced traveler with over 40 countries under his belt who had never seen anything like this.

The waiters take themselves way too seriously, when it should just be a fun place to have a drink before your flight. Plus, they closed an hour earlier than expected. Fortunately, the beer is good.

Excellent bar right inside the terminal. I was flying back to US and had was looking for a place for a drink and quick bite to eat and was glad I walked in there. This place did not feel like the usual places at the airport they had a fantastic whiskey collection and the food was very good.

Complete scotch line up, the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich was large and tasty. Overall pretty good place for inside and airport. Would actually probably go if it was the neighborhood pub.

For me, Hurleys has always been a goto place for a solid pint of Guiness. So to my great and unfortunate surprise, their fast service was more than a little too fast. Guiness has a pour protocol, so when the pint apparates in less than 15 seconds, something is off; there are no shortcuts to a proper Guiness. Not to mention that the tap is literally not visible to the customer, perhaps hidden in a closet ? Overall not very impressed, much better experience at Hurleys Crecent street.

Paid extra for reheated dry rye toast...food quality is average, as is the service. That said, it is in the airport...and the bar is not very high...still a best bet regardless of the average everything.

A small bistro which serves as a bar to wait between 2 flights, the setting is pleasant, the servers seem to do their best. I stayed there for a drink so I cant judge the food but its nicer than waiting at the boarding gate!

Breakfast before a flight, no rush. I ordered a vegetarian omelet, delicious! A little pricy for an omelet but worth it in my opinion. Fast service as it wasnt crowded. I very much enjoyed. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian omelet and many other options!

Place was dirty and gross! I was refused a table and told they were for couples only?? (Place was empty), so I sat at the bar. Staff was ok. I ordered a burger and it was way over cooked (hockey puck!!) they made me a new one and it was better but still really bad!! Just paid for my drink and grabbed a sandwich at another place. Very pricey and not worth it.

Im glad we had plenty of time before our flight or else we would have missed it. Numerous employees refused to take our payment because they didnt take our order. We had to wait for our original waiter to notice us after significant delay.

Me and my school group had a TERRIBLE experience at this restaurant. We received the worst service I ve ever had my life. The short man with ponytail, he never told us his name, rolled his eyes at us multiple times when asked to split the bill. Other waiters also laughed at the fact he had to service us. He forced us to tip him and felt he could because we were younger AND Black.

Hard to find an airport restaurant with good reviews. Lots of travelers expect fine dining experience at airports it seams. But this place was not bad burger was good and fries were cooked well. Some people were mad because they wanted breakfast but it was late morning and not being served.

Avoid at all cost. Not many options in the US terminal, but I would ve taken a vending machine meal over the Costco baguette with dry beef aka jus de boeuf . Water glass came with lipstick stains. Service giving you side eye when you leave an undeserved 10% tip.

Very nice place decorated like an Irish pub, at the airport. It offers pub food and a good selection of beers and cocktails. We ordered mozzarella sticks, poutine and Guinness. It has a large bar to sit at or also tables. Good service, friendly.

Simple small Irish Pub & Restaurant on the international departures side of YUL terminal. The chicken wings were perfectly fried and quite good despite the presentation. A Guinness was a perfect pairing.

Cramped. Over priced, and service that left a lot to be desired. I ordered a beer first, guiness, and it was nice. But for my second I simply asked for a shot of whiskey. The waiter looked confused, as if this had never happened. He asks on ice? And I say no just a small shot of whiskey. Instead I receive a double on the rocks. Not what I asked for but I drank it anyway. Really its just the service vs the price. Go to a Hurleys anywhere but here for a better experience.

Waiter is incredibly rude. Waited almost half an hour to be seated, shots alone took 20 minutes to come out. After leaving a 10% tip the waiter came back and argued with me for almost 5 minutes until i just left. I ve never had that happened and i worked at a restaurant for 3 years, so i m very good about tipping.

Rude as hell. Started with staff yelling at us that he couldnt seat 3 (it was clear he could as we went to the second section where there was plenty of room). Second section told us we couldnt have a seat for just drinks (this is supposed to be an Irish pub). So one of us decided to eat - bit unless we were all eating we couldnt have a table. Then they say the kitchen is closed so hell find a place. Waited 20 minutes to get served (only mates and attractive young women get served straight away). Provided a menu for food. We decided to have our drinks and leave.

Your booth has been empty for 45 minutes waiting for a party of four too bad tou turned us away because you could have at least made a buck with us in the meantime you ding dong!!!! Passed by again 45 mins later with booth with party of 2 .quick learner I guess!!!

The waitress Tatyana seems to want to impose that her customers pay her a 15% tip, regardless of the service received. She even had the audacity to assert that in Quebec we had to pay a minimum of 15%. I usually give 18% to the servers, but this time I was going to give the tax bill. This waitress has no right or reason to make this kind of comment. In short, avoid this place if you want the freedom to tip whatever you want.

Had the most unbelievably rude and snappy hostess. Told me I couldnt sit near a window if I only wanted a drink. Its the same window Ive sat at half a dozen times over the past 18 months flying from Montreal to London Heathrow. What is with Canadian airport workers speaking and treating the travelling public like dirt? Its as if they are doing you a favour by being at work and bringing you a drink that youre already paying double for. Server in question was Y. T. Then she starts arguing with me to justify what turned out to be some imaginary rule of hers! Grief!!

Few weeks ago during a holdover in YUL decided to drop into Hurleys for a meal. I have a gluten intolerance so the first thing I asked was if there were any gluten free options..and sure enough there was and I ordered the GF hamburger. The server was frendly, the food came quickly and tasted good. BUT....once I was in the air on my next flight I realized the food was in fact NOT GF. Had one of the worst flights ever. I know there is always a risk of ordering GF at a restaurant, but in all my years travelling for work Ive onlt been glutenized once prior. Its really unfortunate, but I cannot give higher than a 2 star overall (would be a 1 star or less if I wrote this review the night of my flight). I really wish the meal was GF as I would rate a 4 to 5. Dietary restrictions: Please be very careful if you need gluten free, as the GF meal I requested was either not GF or had extreme cross contamination.

Restaurant is located in the international section of the airport by gate 52. Place was busy but the server got us in quick. The food was big portions with a good price, the taste was incredible. Far better than expected, highly recommend the smoked meat poutine!

If you have to eat at the airport and want mediocre food at high prices, this is the place. The staff is nice, but clearly overworked.

The plate was small (dont remember the name it was two somewhat dried Weiner with mash patato and vegies and a small brown gravy portion) and with a pint of Guinness, it came down to 51$ which lets be honest is a rip off, but you know, airport..

Enjoyed the food. Especially liked the smoked meats sandwich.

The staff at the front are pretty clueless unfortunately. Long line was not necessary with a little thinking. I am in YUL often and I will be avoiding

First time I tried Putine. I did not become a fan but its not the restaurant fault. They are great bunch and the guys at the bar took good care of me.

Really rude manager for absolutely no reason. We were asking him about things we could order off the menu (like a side of fries?) and he took our menus told us to leave. As a former waitress who has worked at busy restaurant (which this was not at all) it was really uncalled for and hurtful. I really don t recommend getting food at a place that treats people so poorly.

Pub was half full, sat down and ordered a pint and the bill right away to save some time. Waiter said gotcha and left. Waited for 30m. He just kept saying yep its coming right up. Never came. I left after 30m of waiting without a menu, glass of water,or anything. Try a different pub

A little expensive, 4 beers.....82 dollars...the manager.... very nervous....

To flee, We hadnt seen the please wait sign and we were seated. The waiter shouted at him, told him we hadnt seen the sign and suggested he address it in a more respectful manner. He took the liberty of saying shut up It is unacceptable for a waiter to speak like that. The worst is that the manager legitimized the actions of his server. Dont set foot there

They deserve a 0! Deplorable welcome and when we asked for courtesy the staff shouted at us and asked to move out. The manager condones this behavior When I read the reviews, I see that this is not an isolated case. the recruitment and training of staff needs to be reviewed, what is the management of the establishment doing???!!!

Got 2 beers waiting for the plane, amazing service, nice smiling staff. It might help that everyone there is about to be on vacation. It was a nice timeout.

Horrible experience today at this bar. The burger I ordered was way overcooked, okay this happens but then dont expect a tip. Afterwards for paying the bill he forced me verbally to give an extra tip.
