I wish I could give this place a review, but after walking there from our hotel. When we came in the door at 730, we were rudely told the kitchen was closing at 8. Then as we waited for a table we saw someone from the kitchen shaking their head. Then the hostess came back and said that the kitchen was already closed. Obviously they were having a bad day, but this could have been handled much better. We wont be back.

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant on our way back to Niagara Falls , glad we came across this restaurant , the atmosphere was welcoming as the owner greeted us at the door , service and food was top notch . If you are in the area look them up you won t be disappointed ! Food

Food had a great taste the salad dressing compliments the flavor and does not take over. The pasta has a light aromatic taste mixed with the delicate black pepper. The ice cream is creamy and the perfect temperature to be cold but not hard.

My family and I went to Da Mangione for the first time last night and we were all thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding but even better was the incredibly attentive service and hospitality from everyone! This restaurant is the very best of Montreal!

Every year or two, I overnight at YUL, for me this is the opportunity to visit. I look forward to my next airport overnight for another great meal at Da Mangione!

It s not exactly free delivery when it shows up and the driver tells you there s a mandatory minimum $5 tip. The pizza was delivered quickly, they just didn t put anything that tastes good on it. Very bland.

Very good food, service and atmosphere. Given the excellent quality main dish, a Costco like tiramisu was a disappointing ending.

First time there tonight 5/8/23 and ordered the veal casa dish. I must say it was one of the best veal dishes I ever had. Wife had another veal dish with also was excellent. The atmosphere is casual and is not a Fine dining experience but go for the food. Price is reasonable.

Attempted to have a meal here with my sisters. Three of us in total of black African decent. Restaurant was literally empty except one table with a couple. I noticed a few tables had reservation labels on them, but a number of them did not. It s also thanksgiving weekend so I wasn t expecting a busy spot. The waiter was attending to the only couple at the restaurant, when we walked in he turned to us, gave us one look over and said, take out? We said nope. Table for three please. He said they had no tables left. We read reviews for this place before and waited for them to open as we got there quite early. The interaction felt uncomfortable and it felt like we weren t welcome there. Im not one to leave reviews. But I didn t like way I felt leaving that restaurant. It probably wasn t intentional, or maybe it was. But it wasn t ok.

Food was delicious pasta and a meat dish. Service good. Ambience, well okay, wasnt my taste but thats not important.

I arrived a little late, I admit (9 p.m.), but it was Friday, a day when their website says they are open until 10 p.m. . The boss told me they were closed. When I asked what time they closed, he said As soon as we can, when there is no one, we take the chance to close. Here is an answer which does not give a very good opinion of their perception of customer service . We have the impression that they consider the customers as obstacles to their desire to close as soon as possible. We would like to remind them that ultimately, it is the customers who enable them to do business... Guess.... I did business with another restaurant that welcomed me without problems 10 minutes later.

Nice little spot... Tucked into a quite little commercial center on Fenelon. Lots of parking, service is friendly, food is very good. I have not had their pizza yet, but they were doing a booming business the night I ate there. Steady stream of pick ups, deliveries, etc.

Yesterday evening by 0830pm we visited this restaurant after travelling almost 2 hours with our 2 lovely kids. It was my sons birthday evening. The gentleman at the patio told us, sorry! Kitchen and Dine in closed and if you want you can go next Tim hortons or small dine-ins where there is take outs. We walked away saying thanks although our hearts felt with terrible pain. Who would go to a late dine out with kids unless that day is very special. Being stayed in that plaza until 10pm, we could notice they were still serving and many empty chairs inside and at the patio. By the way, we didnt bring our luxurious car from Toronto or were in our expensive suits. BTW, we got a chance to teach our little ones how people are treated if you put on your casuals or are in regulars. And the poor man didnt know he lost an extra $100 tip considering the special occasion. The funny thing is the SkipThe Dishes was still showing for orders when the lad says Kitchen is closed! He should learn from the lady next door at Tim Hortons took a time and served when our kids wanted something which was out of their Menu. Tim Hortons never turn anyone down and always serve for the needy!

I came across this restaurant by chance not far from the airport and I was very surprised by the flavor of the dishes. Everything was delicious! Very friendly waitress, beautiful decor and nice atmosphere.

Pizza was great, pasta not so much.

Order a pizza and it was legit one of the worst pizzas Ive ever had. The center was soggy and just too greasy.

Best Pizza , Delicious!! Asked me to wait 45 min till the pizza man had his lunch before I can order.

Typical Italian fare at reasonable prices. When the manager dropped off miniature cupcakes instead of grappa as a complimentary digestif, I was completely won over! Update: After returning several times, it seems that my initial enthusiasm was the result of the particular manager and waitress that night. Other staff seem to think its OK to mop the floor two hours before the posted closing time because they were ready to leave, and on the one occasion I had a concern about my plate, it was ignored and told simply its what you ordered, with no apparent concern for my satisfaction. If there is no concern about pleasing the customer, this customer will go elsewhere.

Great food and great service!!! Our company placed a fairly large order from Da Mangiones restaurant today for a birthday lunch. We received a variety of pastas, pizzas, submarines and salads. There was a lot more food than expected but we were delighted to be able to bring some home for leftovers. Glen, Frank and Peter were such a pleasure to deal with. We stopped for a late dinner. The ambiance and service staff were excellent. The Menu was a easy to follow and well explained. Started with Cream of Vegetable Soup. And samples of Red and White Focaccia. Veal had the perfect accompaniment of Spaghetti Bolognese. Chicken Parmesan was the other choice. The best Chicken Parmesan ever had with Spaghetti Bolognese. Tea to end the meal.

A great experience with great service. We had my girlfriends mothers 88th birthday dinner there. They have a nice wine selection & the food is definitely one of the best Ive had in Montreal. Frank is a great guy. I totally recommend making a reservation and stopping in.

A nice Italian restaurant located in Dorval. The margarita pizza is very nice. The waiters and staff are very nice and friendly. It s a causal place but fancy enough to bring clients to. Wheel chair accessible.

Wow. We just ordered pizza for the first time from Da Mangione as we never realized until today that delivery was an option from this restaurant. It was delivered to our door in good time and still hot. It was delicious. The crust was fresh and so tasty. We have not had pizza that good in years!! Service from reception and delivery was pleasant and the pizza speaks for the kitchen. I am sold. This is our new delivery pizza place.

We were heading out from Montreal to Toronto and since we weren t looking to spend time looking for parking places, we decided to look for a place to eat while on the highway 20. We found this place when we looked up Tim Hortons on google. We arrived at a small food plaza place and then we saw Da Mangione, and it s windows. I made a suggestion that we skip eating at Tim s and eating here instead and then we could grab a coffee to go back on the highway. We looked at the menu of Da Mangione and it instantly grabbed my hungry attention. We entered the place, and it didn t feel like we had just entered a restaurant at a plaza building, it felt like we were in a fine dining Italian place (thanks to the music and the decor). We were greeted nicely and we ordered food. The people there were all smiles and were happy to help us pick out food for four. I ve never had such good carbonara, and the pizza was light crusted and yummy!!! The ravioli was delicious too. Though we didn t have much time to spend, it didn t take them too long to prepare our dishes. It was clean, parking is right in front of the place and the washroom was clean too. It s family friendly and it looked it was good for Monday morning luncheon meetings as well. I ll definitely recommend this place to everyone! Will be back soon!

Poor service...... We ordered beer, and only got small glasses,..... we never saw the bottle,...... when I inquired where was the rest of the bottIe, the server seemed upset....... never seen this before .....

I rarely leave Google reviews, especially negative ones. We booked a table for 18 people at Da Mangione for an anniversary. It was some of the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant in the West Island. - Allocated one waitress for 18 people - Food orders taken at seperate times - Food coming at different times, some received their food 50 minutes after ordering. - No cutlery, taking plates away prematurely - Getting dirty looks by the wait staff because we had kids - We brought a cake for the occasion and they agreed to serve it to us. They pre cut a cake with writing on it, serving it to us as if we were in a production, totally taking away the surprise for the couple of the night. It was their 49th wedding anniversary. So rude I dont even know what to say. And the food... Da Mangione simply cannot handle large groups. The rudeness was CRAZY. Think twice before booking here. I understand if you are struggling to manage a group, everyone has difficult days at work. But in the service industry, try to smile. Special shout out to the waitress (not ours) with the black hair, younger. Only nice person in the resto. Also...This is NOT family restaurant. If you have kids, dont even think about it So many better options in the west. Vivaldi, Famiglia, Riccardos, Scarolies....all great service. Im sorry Da Mangione, I dont usually slam small businesses and support the community, but really, I cant on this one. Go back to the drawing board and learn how to have basic manners with your guests.

Hidden gem! Excellent food reasonably priced. Luncheon table dhot $16-$22 with selection of pastas, chicken & veal. Very cozy dining area, pleasant old school soundtrack. Very welcoming and helpful staff.
