Tasty pizza. Loved how airy yet crispy and flavorful the dough was!

I work on the road and I often discover restaurants near the homes of clients I have to go to. Today, I happily discovered this friendly little Italian express restaurant which, in addition to welcoming us warmly in French and English, serves absolutely DELICIOUS dishes. I chose meat tortellini with Carbonara sauce. My own mother couldnt have made them more delicious! The three employees I encountered all exceeded my expectations both with their jovial and courteous personality and with their concern to make my 15-20 minutes with them as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Thank you really for bringing comfort and joy to a passing customer, for whom mealtime is too often chaotic and uncertain. I will come back to your restaurant every time I serve customers in your area. Eating Cucina San Leones dishes is seeing our eyes, our taste buds and our stomach smile! Thanks again!

i ordered a 14in steak and pepperoni sub and the restaurant changed it to steak sub. (see photos) So because someone was lazy and didnt properly check the uber eats ticket, i didnt get to eat what i ordered. I received a partial refund from uber eats but would have much preferred to pay in full for what i actually ordered and wanted to eat. Pizza was good though.

When I pick it up it usually a very good pizza . I ordered in Uber and it was almost like a knock off version.

Just ordered an extra large pizza. Wet, soggy, wasn t even cut. Cheese immediately detached, completely floppy. Just lazy pizza making ruined my Sunday dinner. Top 5 worst pizzas I ve ever had. Looks nothing like the photos. Just asked for my money back. I was going to take a photo/video but threw it in the garbage (I hate waste).

First time eater. The meat lovers pizza was to die for. Exactly what I wanted. Perfect crust and sauce and really high quality toppings. Will definitely order again.

Solid lil hole in the wall place in an area with very lil options. Had the Italian poutine and it was great. The parking is definitely limited so keep that in mind.

Great pizza...quick delivery

I had a mushroom pizza and also had pepperoni with green olives pizza. Very flavorful because the spices are different from everywhere else. Its like a touch of home, and the crust is nice and crispy.

I tried their pizza for the first time. Pizza was great and delivery was fast and courteous! Im sold! Update: Tried the pasta (Gigi & Carbonara )and Cesar salad tonight. Absolutely delicious!! I was sold...now Im hooked

Just an old fashioned, hole in the wall pizza joint. No eat in facilities. Barely any place to wait inside. But the pizza is worth every penny and every minute waiting. Friendly service. Best to call ahead.

Pizza is salty overall, and the center was mushy. If you have to get a pizza, the San Leone is the best combination of ingredients though. The chicken one wasnt great at all.

Our first time trying San Leone we were blown away. It surpassed all expectations. We now order their pastas and pizza via Uber Eats on the regular, food arrives fresh and is still very hot, as if it just came out of the kitchen (quick tip - if you really like it hot, the spaghettini option retains heat very well). We have tried many Italian restaurants on uber eats, including some expensive/highly rated ones, and the taste and quantities of San Leone cannot be surpassed. Their side of bread is DELICIOUS unlike the usual commercial bread that can also be found on a plane lol. Our approved/loved dishes are: Torino, Aldo, Dalia pastas, their margarita pizza is a go-to pleaser for all tastes and their meatballs are also very good. Highly recommend!

The portion was so much less than previous times and I ordered my pasta with shrimps and I got 3 shrimps. I was very disapointed

This gem of a hole in the wall on the corner of Strathmore and Herron off Sources Blvd east along the service road can easily be missed or passed by but DON T! I haven t been since COVID and I m pleased to see that their quality and servings have not changed! Definitely one serving of their pasta would have satisfied two of us. Highly recommend it! They may have a small table but I believe it s only take out

My 11 yo son is a very picky eater and we have tried many places and many pizzas and this one was his WOW and we were thankful, finally a place he loves and the flavour it s amazing a MUST TRY

Great little local spot in Dorval. I ordered a penne arabbiata and cheesy bread. Everything tasted great and the portions are large too. Ill definitely be going back.

They are not consistent at all ,but if you get them on a good day ,its the best pizza you ever had. If its a bad day ,its garbage. Last night was a good day and omg ,so delicious. If they can get it right for my next order ,they get 4 stars ,the order after that ,they get 5.

The chicken pieces are juicy, the breading is perfect and the pieces are large. Delivery is fast and the delivery people are friendly.

Hits the spot! Hidden gem

This was a terrible experience, and I didnt even get to eat their food. I ordered directly from their website. I received an email from restozone, saying a 55 minute delivery time. 90 minutes later, it didnt arrive. Naturally, Im hungry, so I call to see where it is. It takes me 3 phone calls to get through, including being hung up on once, and being placed on hold for 15 minutes. This was a 0 star experience. A simple formula of late/non delivery + poor customer service warrants it. Order your food from somewhere else. I dont know if this pizza is any good or tastes like cardboard, but honestly it doesnt matter if it is straight out of Italy. It is not worth the experience. Update: The delivery person just showed up at my door two hours and forty minutes (2:40!) after the order was placed. If youre trying to feed your family, dont call Cucina San Leone.

Good food but for the 3rd time missing an item and they clearly dont care. Their answer is always ask for a refund the driver mustve forgotten its near the main bag....maybe TELL THEM WHEN THEY ARE THERE and try to actively work with your clients. Finished with them. Back to Gigis .

Meal ordered via skip the dishes. An item was missing from our order. Instead of the restaurant taking the blame, they told me it was the delivery persons fault. According to them, he forgot the item in question and they are in no way responsible. It would be relevant to make a clear improvement to the process: when there is more than one bag, put 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 for the other on a post it. This would prevent the delivery person from forgetting part of the order. In addition, do not blame the delivery person because he does not have the responsibility to open the PAPERBACK bag and check the contents, ESPECIALLY during Covid times. You can delegate a task but you cannot delegate responsibility for it.

Man.... That was beautiful. Perfect crust and sauve and the toppings were high quality. 15/10 recommend. Definitely going again. We had the San Leone special with capicollo which was exquisite.

Posted a photo my pizza. Everything has slid to one side, off into the box... When I called to order. All I heard was the sound of something like a party going on. Screaming and cheering and laughing... I could barely hear the person on the phone, she was laughing too much to even hear me. Did I call back and complain? Nope. Who knows what they would have done with the replacement pizza. This is not the regular staff. That I am sure of... Seriously. What happened to you???

We order here pretty regularly. Their best items are subs, fries/poutine, and their pastas. Weve tried the pizza a couple of times and I guess its just not our style. Can get very busy, I hope this place is around for a long time.

Very good pizza, tastes like quality ingredients in it, delicious sauce (tastes homemade). Its a bit pricey but it still shouldnt deter you from at least trying it once. I wasnt a fan of the fries but illl definitely return for the pizza

Finding a great pizza was my worry when I first moved here 5 years ago. But the first time I tasted San Leone pizza I was in heaven ., and we just live around the corner. Now I ve got to try the meatballs and subs after reading the reviews about them. If we ever had a problem usually resolved right away. Great people working there . Thank you

First time ordering here and boy was I pleasantly surprised!! Had Penne Gigi and Chicken Parmagian and both were excellent. Nice portions, great sauces and delicious bread to dip!! Ill be trying the pizza next!!

First time ordering pizza there! the dough wasnt cooked in the middle seemed like frozen dough . Asked for cheese , better look carefully!! as for the topping well lets not go there!!! Over priced Charged 1 wrong price for what he ordered and then didnt bring the plate. Not the first time had problems with them.... but is the last

San Leone was my Pizzeria of choice when I lived in Dorval with my family. Now we live elsewhere in the world and miss going to pick up our food. Keep it up guys and thanks for the good food.

Delicious pizza and meatballs etc. Dont order the garlic bread. And pick up your order, delivery is unreliable. 1time was 20 min wait which is fine but the next was 2 hours and it wasnt a rush period. The third was over an hour. They tell you 30 mins..

One of best local delivery and take out places. The pizza is great but try the poutine balls or meat balls. Dont compare this to the 2-for-1 pizza joints. The quality is way better and the staff is very friendly.

Great quality food. Delivery seems quick, considering I live quite far from their restaurant. Portions are very good. Love the bread they include with some meals. Their house salad is delicious. Only ever had one issue with an order, and they insisted on sending me a replacement, which arrived within 20 minutes. It was also delivered with a smile and an apology. Amazing customer service. Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place. Also, the people who take the orders over the phone are always so nice and helpful.

I placed an order, waited 1h30. No order! I call and they tell me they are very busy and I have to wait even longer. They never told me that delivery will take longer than usual. When I tried to talk to the owner he started shouting and didnt even give me time to speak. He doesnt care about customer satisfaction. UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR! A total lack of respect for customers! I do not recommend this restaurant!

Really good pizza.

Pizza was very good. Sauce was homemade, very fresh and delicious. Better than the main stream chains. The french fries are the large home fry style; sooo good! Will order from them again.

I only go there for the subs once in while since Im a huge fan of subs. Theyre good and fresh but its very skinny and pricey. Their 14 subs are about 2 to 3$ overpriced. If you gonna charge 14$, you have to make it at least 25% thicker. That prevents me from going there often in good conscience. This is a small place and they clearly go for maximum profitability at the expense of frequently returning customer. They serve quality subs but thats not an excuse for a super thin sub at that price.

Excellent pizza , just be sure to double check your order, a couple of delivery slip ups. Otherwise best Pizza in the West Island. I recommend The Quebequoise.

In regards to Ms. Mtls review. I am a full time cook at San Leones and regularly enjoy the food we serve. I wouldnt normally respond to a review but this one personally offended me. And is so blatantly untrue I couldnt help myself. 1. I personally clean this restaurant. (in fact i was just on a ladder cleaning the ceiling..)And it is definitely clean. 2. I have never, in my whole life, served rotten food. Especially not from the restaurant I work at. And, as I said, I regularly eat here. My standards are too high to ever eat somewhere that has rotten food. 3. I find it very interesting that you claim to be a customer, but you seem to know how he treats his staff and what produce he orders. Sounds more to me like a bitter ex-employee who didnt make the cut or a competitor who cant keep up with our excellent food. i hope that isnt the case for you because that would be pretty sad. 4. And you are right, we are not ALL Italian but one of the 2 beautiful ladies who work here is most definitely Italian and I dare you to tell her otherwise. Italian or not, our goal is to stay consistent so we are all trained to cook the same way. And the owner is 100% Italian, any one who has spoken to or seen him would know that within a minute of meeting him. 5. He isnt rude, ( well, especially not to customers ) ill admit hes a little quirky but i find that a selling point rather than a negative. He adds even more flavor to the place. 6. You also seem to know how much he pays us. I am a cook at an italian pick up and delivery place, minimum wage + tips is pretty standard. Not to mention we get to eat here no charge while we work. Which i need to avoid as I am trying to keep the pounds down. In fact, Ive managed to lose weight here because I work so darn hard cleaning the place. Thank you very much. this is also a point that a customer would not be aware of . So again, you arent a customer. I find it appalling that you would use a review of a small business in order to gain whatever you hope to gain out of that pathetic review. The pizza, subs, fries and poutine are all AMAZING! Add to that the friendly staff, and excellent service, and you have a winner. To those complaining of long waits, yes, sometimes at peak times the delivery takes a while. Thats because theyre so busy, due to the quality of their food! Ive been in to pick up, and met the owner and seen the kitchen. Ive worked in a commercial kit hen, and I know what a clean or dirty kitchen looks like. San Leones kitchen is definitely clean! I dont know what the reviewer talking about the dirty kitchen was talking about... unless she confused this place with somewhere else. Never seen anything but clean, well-maintained kitchen facilities, staffed by friendly people! Pro tip: if you have leftover fries (rare because theyre sooooo tasty), they reheat really well on a sheet pan in the oven at 425°. Dont let em go to waste! Theyre too good!

Very good taste, price & quality of food

Pros: Excellent pizza and fries (probably the best weve had living 5 years in Montreal), friendly service. Pizza has a nice rich flavour without being overly doughy or greasy. Cons: more expensive than the big chains, sometimes they get lots of orders so it can take up to half an hour for the pizza to be ready
