Food was fine. Quick service. Nice music.

I ordered the manicotti. It did not taste fresh (as if it was prepackaged) and it was served in a very watery tomato sauce. The price on the menu was different than on the bill, and the waiter was imperious.

Beautiful restaurant near the airport, to enhance a stay before or after a flight.

We loved our experience! Excellent service, exquisite cuisine, and on top of that, free shuttle from the hotel. We cant wait to go back.

I ate a pizza which was great. It was hot and tasty. I ordered some garlic bread for starters but it was never served. The waiter, of course, accepted to remove it from the bill.

The food is always excellent! Last night it was busy with several big groups, so it was noisy.

Good meal

It was dark. The specials were written on a black board in an illegible way. The waiter upsold us the starter and made an inappropriate comment while we were ordering and then was very dismissive as soon as we paid the bill.

Please be aware when you eat at this restaurant. We were visiting Montreal for 2 days. My family and I went to dinner at this restaurant on Tue, Jul 30, 2024. Unfortunately my eldest sister got food poisoning shortly after we had dinner there. She ordered VEAL CANNELLONI and shortly after dinner she started vomiting and diarrhea. She continued to vomit and diarrhea the whole night to a point where she was dehydrated because she lost so much fluid. We took her to the emergency hospital around 5:30am and we stayed there till about noontime. I called the restaurant and told them what happened and all they did was say sorry which I didn t even think was sincere. They didn t even asked what she ordered to check if the dishes they served were spoiled. I m sharing our experience so no one else go through the unfortunate experience we had to endure. The family dinner ended up being unpleasant experience for the whole family.

The food is good, the service slow, and they were a bit stingy with bread and water refills.

Out of the way restaurant with great food . When we were there it was quite full. The location of the place was not where youd think there would be good food. Highly recommend though. Daily specials.

Just ordered veal Marsala through Skip. The veal was like rubber, no taste, veggies were hard as rocks and tasteless pasta. This is not Italian food. Plus my order showed up not sealed in the bag.

A little pricy but I ate a veal s tender and delicious as I have ever eaten. So I recommend it.

What an amazing find along an industrial road in Dorval Montreal. Can t say enough about the people and the food - and they even sent a driver to our hotel to get us and returned us after a terrific night! Five stars over and over again!

I love the restaurant atmosphere. Light on the ceiling, blue walls and a rather small room but it gives a really nice cocoon respect. The food was good. However, the waiting times were very long. We waited several minutes at reception to be seated, our drinks arrived late and the dishes took at least 45 minutes to arrive even though there were only a few customers. Mixed results therefore but which does not take away from the good dishes offered. The wine cellar is glazed and is located in a corner of the restaurant. I really like.

This was a nice, quiet place off the beaten path, very close to the airport. So close we walked from the Sherton Hotel. Easy walk. Great food. Loved the sauce. While you waited for the meal, it came with 2 sour dough rolls. They have a large wine fridge. The seating was on the nicer side, but others had on casual attire, yet you could dress up for a nice dinner as well. Both would feel comfortable. Price was as expected for such a restaurant. Great experience. I would go again.

The Osso Bucco was so tender and delicious.

All dressed pizza, $12.75 Caesar salad $7.25,,,it was for take out salad not edible, pizza 2 out of 10 could have been much better total with tax =$22.71 and charged me $27.00,, ,without invoice,,,,never going to see me again SORRY but its not worth the detour,,,here are the photos on the internet of the take out

A little hard to find but walkable from both the Aloft and Sheraton YUL airport hotels. Great service and food.

Not sure where all the high star reviews are purchased from but I did not have even close to the level of service they speak of. Everyone that served me (3 in total) seemed like they wanted to leave, food was horrid (chicken in my pasta -$7 addition - might as well have been bread sticks it was so dry) Pasts meals tasted canned and frozen. Maybe just a bad night overall for the staff but would never return nor recommend from the experience I had. I left with my food and couldn t even give it to the homeless people circling the restaurant. I threw it in a dumpster.

Good food, good wine and good welcome!

The restaurant itself is very cute and the staff are nice. But the food unfortunately is just subpar. We started with the Cesar salad and it felt like it had been premade and kept in the fridge, it was VERY cold, soggy and too acidic. The pasta we had was watery and actually needed salt? The mushrooms were clearly frozen because they were just flavourless & filled with water. The pizza dough was half undercooked half burnt, too much cheese which cause the pizza to be soggy and ingredients to fall off. The bacon on the pizza was raw and mushrooms again, watery. I think they d benefit from reducing the menu options to manage the ingredients more freshly!

Quality of food is top notch! Bit expensive, but really solid. Osso buco, veal parm, and the fish are all amazing. Only criticisms are bigger portions on the included pasta/asparagus, and the seating is a bit cramped. Other than that all great.

Beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere is pleasant. The drinks and the wines are not too expensive! There Lasagna is very good. The pasta is good. I loved the excellent chocolate tartufo! The service is excellent! Lots of meal choices. Well done to the whole team!

Assiettes de pâtes minuscules. Littéralement une portion enfant, mais au prix dune portion normale. Nous avons un appétit dans la norme et avons dû cuisiner autre chose une fois arrivées à la maison, puisque nous nétions pas rassasiées. Échalottes grossièrement coupées (lire ici, très gros morceaux) dans la sauce et repas tiède. Seul bon côté : le décor du restaurant.

Given its odd location in an industrial area close to the airport, that just helps it shine more. Food is cooked to order, and the staff is amazing and able to answer any questions you may have. Bravo, gentlemen. Your food and atmosphere have helped make my night at a dingy hotel just a bit more bearable.

We were picked up by (free) restaurant shuttle at Aloft airport hotel! We shared a Quatro Fromage pizza (Sicilian style) and eggplant parm. All delicious. Our waiter was great. Leftovers packed for plane travel. We are coming back on our way back from vacation. Vegetarian options: Plenty pasta and pizza options

I randomly discovered this gem by accident. I stay in Montréal every 2 weeks flying through to/from work, and happened to be staying at a hotel close by. Was hungry, walked over, and was miraculously surprised by the place. Ordering a pasta, I wasnt sure what to expect, but didnt have any high hopes. Appearances can be deceiving. I was pleasantly surprised, and happy for it. This was, without a word of exaggeration, the BEST pasta I have eaten in my life. The prices are fair, the service is friendly, and the food is to die for. I now go to Focaccio for dinner every two weeks when I travel through, without fail. Serge is the owner, and he knows how to treat customers. Even on the busy nights, when the place is packed, he still makes a point to come and say hello. Top notch, in my opinion. So, if youre looking to take someone to impress, or with some friends and/or family, or just dining alone, this is the place to go. You cant go wrong. Oh.. and finish it off with the tiramisu, if you have room Parking: Offers a shuttle service for those staying in nearby hotels

The food was fast but it was very dry and bland. Our appetizer was supposed to have a cream sauce but it was more of a watery vinegrette.The service was worse. Our waiter never checked on our appetizer, our main dishes, or refilled our water glasses. He never cleared our plates or came back to offer us dessert, or bring the bill. Then he basically demanded a tip and when my husband complained about our meal he said It is what it is. So, my review also is what it is.

A must when you come back from a trip, very close to the airport, its worth the detour. The dishes are excellent, both the pasta and the traditional pizzas. From starter to dessert you are never disappointed. The service is authentic and very attentive and the prices are still very affordable when we compare with other places that have this quality of dish.

Excellent range of Italian menu. The staff was very friendly and he was very kind to explain how the veal dish I ordered was prepared. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good italian dining experience. They also have an excellent wine menu with some Italian imports. It has a decent parking lot size as well

Very friendly staff, service and food are great

Focaccio serves great food and offers great service. On top of that, they offered us a free ride back to the hotel (not sure if thats usual or was just because it was a very cold night. We were a group of 10 and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. One member of the group ordered pizza, which he commented was tasty while adding that the crust edges were a bit too dry (and he did not eat them). The prices are reasonable.

Came across this place randomly! It was very good. Bruschetta and Caesar salad as appetizers were so good. Ordered the veal Marsala and carbonara for the main and it was very delicious. Would definitely come back!

The staff are so welcoming, smiling, and super nice. The restaurant is clean. The food serving is in reasonable time. As a starter, the taste of the Bruschetta is so good and recommended. For the main course, the chicken Alfredo is so delicious, the ingredients are well mixed. The dessert was fabulous, the chocolate with the vanilla, taste from another world MUST TRY!!! Good price for the food and service. Recommended

Very good Italian restaurant, home cooking, generous portions and affordable prices. Only downside, excellent service but too fast: we ate main course, wine, dessert and coffee, including payment in 1:10. A little hasty for a romantic dinner.

We chose this restaurant because of its Italian food and past ratings . The decor was trying to be upscale but didnt make it. The restaurant has a cold draft and is quite small. The washrooms are down a long flight of stairs ( not handicap equipped) and there was a foul smell lingering. The meal ( chicken parmesan) was low quality. The chicken was pounded so flat that I could not even taste the meat. The pasta was such small portion and the sauce was simply tomato juice based. The carrots were uncooked and very hard. We did not stay for desert based on the meal. Needless to say we will not be returning .

Group dinner, good service, fair food

My colleagues and I tried this restaurant based upon its convenient location to our airport hotel and a good review rating on Google. We called to reserve a table on a Sunday evening and not only were we greeted with a friendly voice but surprisingly a shuttle pick up and drop off service too . The service and food were excellent and we will be certainly visiting again tomorrow

So had to go to Dorval circle in the evening and decided to grab dinner in the area. After a few minutes of Googling what turned out to be a surprisingly dense area for Italian restaurants landed on Focaccio which was close by and had solid reviews. Overall we both had a pleasant experience. It was a Tuesday night so the dining room was only about half filled but we were seated quickly and the waiters were all very friendly and attentive. Id agree with their description as casual Italian as being very accurate. Ordered appetizers which was the soup of the day and very solid. For the mains I got the grilled steak medium and my lady had a pizza. We both enjoyed our meals that came out fairly quickly and were good. And while it was clearly a bad idea fullness wise, we both got the desert which was the Tiramisu which she really enjoyed and a cheesecake for me that was also very good. Long story short the restaurant is a little out of the way but if I was in the area again or for people close by I would recommend it. Good service, good food and warm/unpretentious aesthetic.

Good restaurant. Very reasonable prices and good variety of meals. Not too noisy compared to other restaurants. The drinks were good and the employees friendly. Very small parking lot though. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. Parking: Very small parking lot on the side of the building. I parked in another businesss parking lot and had no problem but I dont know if it was allowed.

Very friendly service. Had the fettuccine carbonara, it was very good. Friend didnt know which pizza to order but the waiter recommended one and she said it was very good too. Food was out in no time, cant say a bad thing about the place. If youre near the airport I highly recommend the restaurant.

Walked over for lunch today from the Sheraton airport hotel Omg it was so good, the bruschetta was very excellent. My husband had the Milanese veal on a fresh ciabatta bun, with a salad and there was nothing left on the plate. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio with the Aurora penne pasta, I loved every mouthful and every drop off the broth. Service was excellent.

Excellent, we stopped on our way back from our trip, very well located in relation to parking and allowed traffic to pass. Very good quality Italian food, there were 4 of us and everyone loved their dishes. Very good house wine also.

Decent place, good Italian food, good value for money. Pleasant service. The spaghetti vongole was very tasty, and the tiramisu was very good. White house wine nice too. They have dinner specials with soup/salad + set dessert included. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options: eggplant parmigiana, vegetables pizza or pasta and a few starters. Not sure they were any vegan options.

A little gem!! Warm and relaxed atmosphere! Hearty and delicious meal! The room service is impeccable; smiling and welcoming! It even offers a shuttle service between the restaurant and the airport! All you have to do is call them to enjoy a good meal away from the chaos while waiting for your flight. I recommend it and I will definitely return!!

I ordered a chicken sandwich with a side salad. The salad only had one slice of cucumber and tomato, the rest of it was just lettuce with olive oil. The chicken was very burnt and dry. Not very impressed with the quality of food. Waiter was very nice but not very attentive especially since there were only two other tables.

Based on location, you might not seek out this little gem. We spent the early part of our day struggling with a canceled flight, rescheduling and finding lodging, Focaccia was one of the few restaurants nearby. We even waited an hour for it to open. What a charming little place with comfortable atmosphere, friendly service, good food, wine and drinks. Worthy of being a destination even if you re not a victim of Air Canada.

We had pizza for dinner and the dough is very good, but the ingredients were very scarce, the service should be better, the waiter served us water looking towards the street, logically the glass overflowed, flooding the table and a cell phone.

Close to the airport hotels and you can walk from the aloft hotel or they will pick you up in a shuttle. It was a very busy restaurant for a weeknight. The food was pretty good for an airport area restaurant and we would return as the service was good and fast. Friendly staff too!

Went this evening with our basketball team. They served all of us tremendously well. Food came at a timely manner even with our large group. They had a complimentary minivan shuttle service from our nearby hotel. The food was delicious. And the staff were very attentive.

It is a small restaurant very close to the Montreal airport. We had dinner at the bar and the atmosphere wasnt the best but the food made up for it all.
