Absolutely delicious food! The Naan bread is to die for. Will definitely be going back soon!!

Only 5 bite-size pieces of fish (I think) and 4 bites of pepper in my $17 Chili Fish (main dish only, no rice and no bread), but taste was good. Excellent daal soup and service. Vegetarian options: Too many to name!

Ordered lamb biryani for takeout.. The rice was okay nothing special or desirable at all, the lamb was reallly overcooked and had zero seasoning, really did not enjoy it and will not have it again. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM OF DORVAL. I used to have to drive all the way to Jean-Talon or LAcadie area when I (thought I) wanted authentic Pakistani food ... NO MORE! You know the place is good when you go there with your spouse, the food is served, you each take a bite, and just exchange a startled look with one another without saying a word. We had the Chicken Pakora (think Pakistani Fried Chicken tenders), Veggie Samosas, Chicken Karahi, Butter Chicken (I guess we like chicken) and Naan ... they NAILED the Karahi -- perfect blend of spices and tomato base, and not too oily (but lets be honest with ourselves, sometimes the food is meant to be oily, its just better that way...) -- I finished all the chicken, and had to take the sauce home to dip more naan in it, its so good... waiter was very attentive to our needs, cautioned me when I asked for it Spicy that if it was my first time there, to start with Medium, which I found rather thoughtful -- though my skin color deceives, Im totally going for spicy next time -- a good sweat down will do wonders for opening up those pores. Now we have to go back and try it all! Highly recommend to all. Vegetarian options: Chana, Daal, Marat paneer, Baigan, Aloo Gobi -- lentils, kidney beans, peas, eggplant, potatoes/cauliflower... they have it all.

As someone who frequently travels from Ottawa, I can confidently say that Raja G is a hidden gem in Montreal that feels like a slice of home. The tender lamb was simmered to perfection in a rich, aromatic gravy that transported me straight to my grandmother s kitchen. Each bite was a comforting reminder of home. Next, I had to try the Nahari, which was equally impressive. The flavors were deep and robust, with just the right amount of spice. It s the kind of dish that you want to savor slowly, allowing each flavor to unfold. The Shrimp Biryani was a revelation! The shrimp was succulent and perfectly cooked, nestled in fragrant rice that had absorbed all the delightful spices. It was a dish I could easily eat every day. I also ordered the Haleem, which was a hearty and wholesome delight. The smooth texture and complex flavors made it a standout dish that I couldn t get enough of. To complement my meal, the Aloo Paratha was a must-try. Flaky, buttery, and stuffed with perfectly spiced potatoes, it paired beautifully with the curries. The Jhal Freezi added a burst of freshness and heat that was just divine. And let s not forget the Garlic Naan golden, fluffy, and slathered with garlic, it was perfect for mopping up every delicious morsel on my plate. Got takeaway here for dinner today. Ordered the Palak paneer, Biryani and chicken korma. Palak paneer was one of the best Ive had and Biryani and korma were excellent. Also the staff was very friendly and welcoming and did a good job at answering any questions I had. Minor complaint was the chicken was a bit dry but probably cause its chicken breast. Will definitely be back here!

Tried it tonight. Great rice and naan. That was the best butter chicken I have ever had --- creamy, sweet and you cant stop eating it. The gulab jamun was very good too! Much better than anything you would buy canned in a store. Service was speedy, friendly and I will be sure to eat from there again.

Went there for the first time this evening. Shared some tasty appetizers, onion bhaji and then papadam with mango chutney. The papadam were curled up into a cone, so it was easy to scoop up the sweet, tangy sauce. My main dish was chicken with karahi sauce - also very tasty! As a combo, it came with rice, naan bread, and a small dessert (gulab jamun - soft and sweet, great consistency). In general, the menu has a lot of options and the staff is attentive. Great experience and I plan to eat here again! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options, listed together. Parking: The parking is shared with other buildings in that lot, but it was easy to find a space on a weekend evening.

I decided to go in tonight and pick up some takeout and I m so happy that I did! The butter chicken is delicious (and so buttery). I paired it with perfectly baked garlic naan and fluffy basmati rice. It was all wonderful especially the onion pakoras. I will for sure be visiting again and spreading the word to others about this gem of a place!

Tried out Restaurant Raja G for the first time. We love, love, love Indian food, and this restaurant prepares a delicious lamb. We tried two different lamb dishes and mine was medium spicy. Loved the ginger and cardamon flavours. The naan was piping hot and wonderful. Good service, So happy to see this addition to Dorvals offering. This is in the old Kimbobs so the lovely neighbourly atmosphere is still here with the easy chairs, sofas and tables. Reasonable prices too.

I plan to try a lot of food from their menu as they re so close to me, their wraps are really good, the beef one stole the show for me. Will be back for sure

We visited the restaurant on our way to Montreal, drawn in by its high rating. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible how it s rated 4.9 is beyond us. We ordered a paneer and chicken dish, and both were poorly prepared. The gravy was overly salty and heavily colored, and the overall taste was just bad. The chicken was tough, making it an even worse experience. We won t be returning.

Brand new restaurant in Dorval north. Excellent food (Indian and Pakistani), the best butter chicken I have ever had and their papa dan was also extremely good. We enjoyed every dish - they were all very well prepared and presented in a good way. The staff is wonderful; they are attentive without hovering. The restaurant has beautiful pictures of scenes of India on each wall. Very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have been four times in four weeks!

I went to this restaurant after placing an order two hours in advance with a colleague. Unfortunately, the experience did not at all live up to our expectations. We had to wait despite ordering in advance. I ordered chicken that looked like a KFC-style dish in the photo on the menu, but what I received was completely different: a reddish chicken that had nothing to do with the picture. When I pointed out this discrepancy, I was simply told that the photos did not match the dishes served, which is misleading. Additionally, the fries were oily, the onion rings inedible, and the naan was not good either. Overall the quality of the food does not reflect authentic Indian cuisine at all. Unfortunately, it was a first and last time for me in this establishment.

We were excited to try this new restaurant with great reviews but the experience was somewhat tarnished when we ordered the Tandoori Platter for 2 at 29.99$ which is supposed to be beef chicken and fish with rice, salad and naan. Unfortunately we only received the meat, we called to find out where the rest was and we were told it only had meat, nothing else when ordered with delivery. We told them this made no sense and should have been specified somewhere because we would NOT have ordered it had we known. They said they would try to bring it to us later that evening but they never did. Very disappointed.

Butter chicken sauce tasted like cream of tomato soup with a touch of Indian spice, and make sure you eat fast, because your cold gulab jamun will come halfway through your dinner, and you need to enjoy your meal with all your empty plates at the table because nobody comes to pick them up as you eat. Seems expensive for the quality of food, but you get a good amount. If you dont care about quality and good taste, this is the place for you.

Ive ordered take out and it really was amazing! Ive eaten at plenty of Indian restaurants from family owned ones to more fancier ones like Le Taj and this one hits the spot. Best butter chicken and chicken jalfrezi I have ever tried. I will have to come and eat it properly in the restaurant. The one downside would be their garlic nan bread. It was alright but other restaurants have a better recipe for it.
