This is by far the worst pizza I've ever had, and I lived off off $1 slices on Guy through my college years, so that says a lot. The equivalent of eating beige. The dough was uninspiring, the sauce was bland, and the pepperoni had no tang. It says ready in 2 minutes, and it tastes like 2 minutes. If you're a big fan of pizza like me, steer clear. Actually, the beer was good. Yeah, the beer was actually decent.
So in a sea of overpriced food, small servings, and poor service at YUL, it can be challenging finding a semi decent meal for reasonable value. I only ordered the regular routine, and the fries were made fresh, cheese plentiful, and gravy tasty. Took about 5 minutes to make and was $14 taxes in. Serving size was actually quite good. I think this might be best value for money at YUL. I didn't try anything else btw, so buyer beware.
Sorry but the chocolatine i got here didn't have a crisp to it. It tasted old and soggy. Granted this is a pizza place primarily so maybe I should've just gone with that but it was early. Needless to say but disappointed in the food. The service was the best part. The lady that helped me was really kind and patient and everything. But that croissant scarred my tongue.
I recently had the chance to grab a quick bite at the airport, and I went for the pepperoni pizza and poutine. Honestly, it was better than I expected! The pepperoni was just the right amount of crispy and flavorful, and the cheese melted perfectly on top. As for the poutine, it was surprisingly good for an airport meal—the fries were crispy, the gravy was rich, and the cheese curds were deliciously gooey. Definitely made my layover a bit more enjoyable!
I tried the BBQ Chicken pizza at YUL Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be stopping by again the next time I’m at Montreal Airport. Highly recommend!
Don’t miss this spot at YUL Airport! If you’re looking for fresh, tasty food, this is the place. The sandwiches and pizzas are fantastic—the bread is incredibly soft and fresh, especially the BARBADOS sandwich. The cozy seating area under the olive tree adds a charming touch, making it a peaceful spot to relax. The staff are friendly and welcoming, even at 6 am. I highly recommend this place. Honestly, I’ll always choose to eat here whenever I’m at YUL Airport.
I have ordered Three Cheese Pizza 🍕 from Airport. Service is really great. Pizza is cooked 👩🍳 properly. Restaurant is clean and well managed.
Regular poutine with soggy fries. Definitely not freshly made. Came lukewarm. Some fries were black. Not expensive though by airport standards.
Great quick stop for food coffee, good assortment of choices, near gate74 airport. Young man Shashi very pleasant smiling happy and helpful. no wait like Starbucks
It was just okay.
Not the best pizza Ive had. Overpriced. Would not recommend.
Unbelievably overpriced. Nice crust and fast to cook but its so shy of ingredients. Red sauce is nothing more than dye at this point, almost no cheese or veggies or... +20$ CAD, maybe worth it if it was 5$.
So so. Good selection though
The quality of the pizza I received was subpar, and I believe it is the worst pizza I have ever had for the price of $20. I would have preferred to wait 15 minutes for a properly baked pizza rather than receive one in 2 minutes that tasted worse than school pizza. The dough was not baked thoroughly, and the ingredients did not seem fresh. The sandwiches on the menu appeared to be of higher quality, and I regret not choosing one of those instead.
Do not recommend their beer - 8$ for literally warm foam. Brother ewww
Worst pizza ever! I ordered a pepperoni pizza which was done quickly as advertised. There was barely any sauce on the pizza, and I dont think the meat on the pizza was actually pepperoni. There was not much flavor and the ingredients seemed cheap even though the pizza was not. I forced myself to eat the pizza because I didnt want to waste the $20 I spent on it. I would recommend eating somewhere else.
The pizza is just ok for an airport pizza, it was much better before! It s also quite fast!
We are from Naples, Italy... so, pizza is our food. May be that the pizzas of YUL PIZZA in Montreal Airport are frozen in origin, but when they are stuffed, they are very good and digestion too was very good: so, what else? Service was friendly and kind too. We were 4 and we took 2 pizzas and 2 cans, spending less than 11 CaD per person, so... if you want a pizza waiting for your fly, this is the place.
For an airport, huge portion for a relatively ok price point. Got my food quickly. Food is ok but I prefer soggier fries.
pizza and poutine were great. the atmosphere is pretty meh (but thats not their fault, it is an airport) however it was also very fast
Great place for a quick bite. I had the vegan gluten-free pizza and it was quite good. I wish they had alternative milks and vegan baked goods. The menu is quite pricey, but as expected at the airport. Staff members were very nice. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly space
Gluten free pizza and cookies!
Delicious. GF and vegan pizza
Yul Pizza is a must-visit! The BBQ Chicken Pizza is perfectly cooked with tender chicken, smoky BBQ sauce, and melty cheese definitely 5-star quality. Their Poutine is just as great, with crispy fries, rich gravy, and perfect cheese curds. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. With a variety of delicious options, Yul Pizza is highly recommended for both the food and the amazing service! Vegetarian options: Three cheese Pizza is good
My wife turned her back for a second and the employee at the cash register chose the tip amount himself without asking for his opinion. I find this theft
Ordered a $9 breakfast sandwich later in day, said still fresh. Got back to seat, basically a cold hockey puck. Even after reheating barely edible.
Really bad pizza. Save your dollars.
Omg the worst pizza I ever had in my life absolutely disgusting and smelly be ware don t spent your money there!
The sandwich bread was not fresh...when you are on the plane it is impossible to return it very disappointed
Pizza $$$ for the equivalent of a convenience store pizza. Not bad but far from memorable
Avoid this store. They are using high preservatives ingredients which are absolutely not good for health.
This review is just for the poutine. Fries were ok, gravy was yummy. There were a lot of curds but zero squeaks. nuff said. Food : 3/5
Uncooked fries, cold food. It say frites maison but its clearly frozen fries.
Pizza was very tasty. I got the barbecue chicken and it was exactly what I hoped for. In other places I dont eat the crust on the pizza, but here this one was really tasty, perfect flavor and texture
Definitely the worst fresh pizza I ve ever experienced. Similar to microwaved supermarket frozen pizza.
similar to a microwave pizza, but $21!! Crust was undercooked, too over cooked. Not fresh at all and not worth the price
He said that there s no poutine left but he served the people behind me poutine
Ok if youre in a hurry, otherwise its some of the worst pizza Ive ever tasted in my life. Dry and flavorless. Thai Express is just as fast and youll get a much better meal for $20 Of you have to go to YUL Pizza, try a poutine - looks a bit better and costs less than the pizza Vegetarian options: They have some pizzas without meat, but all have cheese.
Playing on phones and eating fries. 4:03 04/17/2024 Waiting 20 plus min for a poutine Food
Super nice service, very, very, very delicious food and a superb atmosphere! The holidays are off to a good start!
I went to the YUL pizza on US departures side. The staff here are so nice and genuine!
I have celiac disease and there arent many gluten free options in this airport. I found GF pizza at the location by the international departure. All pizzas were on display, but the GF was wrapped in plastic. The attendant asked me if I was allergic and warned me about the oven. I told him that it was fine for now as this was really my best option today. Without asking, he washed all instruments prior to touching my pizza and baked it on the cardboard that came in the wrapping so it wouldnt touch the oven. Even though this is not ideal for celiac, I really appreciate the extra care. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza
They bundle beer with food, can t order just beer without food. Don t know if this is a law in QC. But makes me feel bad
Good discovery during my stay. Good welcome-perfect service
Really good and good for the price. It beats small sous vide sandwiches or Tim. Very satisfied even if it remains quite basic.
Putin to avoid! The sauce is really too salty. I think I can make better poutine at home. Not recommended place if you like poutine you will be disappointed..
Disgusting people
Best poutine in town. Great service toi.
YUL want to order pizza somewhere else if you are looking for a gastronomic experience, pizzas are premade, service is quick (2 minutes for a pizza) but the taste, cheese texture, crust is like wet bread and topings taste pretty generic.
One of the worst pizzas I ve ever had. It was burnt and the cheese was a weird fake cheese taste. I had a bad feeling when I saw the pre made pizzas sitting out and should have trusted my gut. Just awful.
I got a classic poutine, which was expensive for a fast food place. The portion was huge (more suitable for 2 people) and the fries were steaming hot, generously covered with gravy and cheese curds. It looked impressive and it tasted great. I m from Vancouver and it s one of the best poutines I ve tried. The fries were so hot that the cheese curds fully melted. Wish they had half portions as that s as much as I could fit.
> Fast pizza! Waited only 2 minutes (its microwave toasted pizza). > The sitting area is a mess. I had to clear myself a space. > Paid $6.20 (before tax) for a red bull. ($26 for pizza and drink) Food : 3/5
Really good pizza and baked in a few minutes, I did notice some reviews of pizzas being burnt, but for ours they rotated it part way through the baking process.
Disgusting pizza
Pizza made me sick!
Wish I could give 0 stars and Ive never written negative reviews. Imagine this for a business model: Grab really tasteless (cardboard probably tastes better) frozen pizzas from a store and then sell them for freakin $17.5+ dollars (this is before tip, mind you) It was so bad that we ended up throwing it and I just feel like giving 0 stars. How is this legal in this day and age? Please do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich from Tim Hortons instead. In my entire life, Ive never had a pizza sooo bad. I guess all it takes to open a pizza shop these days is just confidence because as far as skills are considered, my 5 y/o could probably bake something better. Actually, much better. Places that have a whole bunch of 1 star reviews (original) and 5 star reviews (fake) only are always rip off yall.
Flies all over the food. Managers yell at their employees
Best Pizza in town! Must try!
I went there today to order the mexican style poutine and to be honest its probably one of the top 3 WORST poutines that Ive had. The fries were mostly burnt or dry and the sauce they used was uncommon and tasted very strange. I wouldnt recommend it.
Interesting pizza, attentive service. However, having a unilingual English-speaking service is a bit deplorable given that we are in Montreal. Fortunately, I have the privilege of doing well in English, but imagine older people less skilled in this language...
+2 stars for having a reasonably priced beer. However, seating area is in rough shape and tables and benches were sitting dirty with 3 staff members standing around chatting.
It was a good pizza. They are super quick which is awesome for when you have to catch flights and at a convenient location as well. If you are in a rush and need pizza just before the flight YUL is the way to go
Im not a picky eater usually but this pizza place is really not good. Wouldnt reccomend.
The three cheese pizza was amazing, fast service even if it was very busy. But we were very disappointed with the regular poutine. Less gravy, the cheese curds were huge, and most importantly, the fries were gross. No one wants tiny & burnt fries.
One of the best among all canadia airport fast foods, fast, reasonable price, good quality
Wont take vouchers for the airlines and the staff is rude dont do there
Do not forget to try Sweet potato fries
Good quality.
Friendly service but terrible food. Expect the poutine to be non authentic, covered in sauces, and the pizzas to mainly just taste like cheesy bread. Prices are very reasonable however. All pizzas are premade/frozen from what i was told, so they cannot make you anything custom or make any modifications
The Service was really bad. The pizza serve without cutting. I have to walked back asked for cut and still not cut it properly. Pizza was OK. It was like eating bread dipping in tomato sauce.
SO GOOD. I had just gotten off an eight hour flight, and I was absolutely starving. Was so happy to find a place where the staff were so patient, the preparation was so fast(one minute!!), AND the pizza was SO delicious. Would absolutely recommend.
Unilingual English-speaking service ..we are in Quebec . Pizza in two minutes and it looks cheese barely melted, slightly soggy, in short I miss the sandwich from the stand next door
The pizzas are very good, they need more space to eat Vegetarian options: Vegetable pizzas
There were flies in their muffins where you ordered your food
Not a fan of writing bad reviews but this Is warranted. I thought I would order a quick poutine at the airport while killing time for a flight (I know its an airport poutine). After waiting over 10 minutes for them to cook fresh fries they smothered it with so much gravy it became a soup. I tried to eat a few bites but it kept getting worse and worse. The fries were all soggy because of the amount of gravy that it ruined the whole meal, I tossed it away and went and found a better restaurant in the airport. Not a fan but maybe next time I will try their pizza.
Poutine was compairable to mcdonalds. 1/10 on poutine scale
Friendly staff! Gave us free milk for our baby! Thanks!
The pizzas are pre-made and heated up in only 2 minutes. This is a good fast option if you have a tight connection but otherwise I d go somewhere else. The seating area is in bad shape and not cleaned well, crust is too chewy, and they serve beer in a paper cup which is just downright bizarre.
Pizza was okay , But 20 bucks for a small sized pizza is just too much Beer was good !
Pizza was a great snack! Quick and yummy. Staff were friendly and kind. Vegetarian options: We had the spinach and artichoke pizza and it was very good. Food : 4/5 |
What? Im famished? And you can have my freshly made pizza before I check out? Walked on the plane with 2 comments...we should have...thats so awesome...can I have a piece?...I shared....why not? Travelers are always hungry....
The Pizza is a MUST TRY!! OMG! WOWWW 5 stars easyyyy
Worst pizza I ever had. Tasteless and soggy
GReat device friendly and solid pizza really good prices cheapest beer at the airport
Guy behind me tipped 0% and he was right.
Friendly service, great price and fresh pizza. Too bad they close early.
One of the worst pizzas I ve had. Was burnt on top and chewy on the bottom. No flavour at all, actually it kinda tasted like the box which kinda had this plastic taste. Pretty horrible considering they are charging $14 + tax. Places like this make me wish there some sort of standard for airport food.
Guys avoid this place like the plague... Cashiers are cold hearted and dont care about the customer. You ask them a simple question and they just give you the run around. Stay away.
Went there. Ordered a Mexican poutine. Why??? WHYYYY do I do that? Should have had a pizza. Lots of pilots alike stopping to grab theirs. Poutine doesn t seem to have the poutine cheese. More like a block of cheese blob in there under the sauce. Not bad tasting but didn t feel like the right cheese. Fries are crips so top score for that. Plenty for 2 to share.
Big poutine taste good fair price
Very good pizza Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options
Visited once travelling through. I ordered a Thai pizza because it looked interesting. It was certainly odd but probably would not reorder. Problem was there went many pizza choices available, as they were out of stock. All are premade (on site? Delivered frozen?) So you select a pie and the employee throws it into an oven for a few min. The ingredients dont necessarily taste fresh. Honestly Ive had cheap frozen grocery store pizza fresher. At $15 CAD for about a 7-8 inch pie at an airport, its okay. The prices in general for all airport food is a bit high but I would still argue this isnt a great value. I was able to eat a whole pie myself :).
The all dressed pizza was delicious! I love that they keep the pizza pre assembled but bake it when you order. Fast service but pizza is still fresh from the oven.
They dont have any system in place for taking customer orders and preparing food in a timely and sequencial order. They took my order and had forgotten to give me my order/food while they were serving people that came after me. They really need to adopt a better system for taking and filling orders.
Worst pizza ever.
Im new in Montreal so I stopped ta YUL Pizza. I was impressed. Really good pizza. affordable and big enough for one person. I recommend it.
I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. It tastes good. The staff was friendly and he did his job very efficiently. The only issue I would say is the plastic knife and fork as tableware. The plastic knife is useless when cutting the outer crust of the pizza.
Got the wrong pizza and the mamager did not care. It was the worst pizza.....
Disappointment on the French fries that were cold the pizza was adequate but never again very disappointed ..
Pizza was undercooked and had a huge hair in it. Better off grabbing something from Tim Hortons right next to it
$6:50 beer costs $9:15 cnd 28% tax . Canada is 15%
Excellent pizza. Love it. Thanks!
Much cheaper than other restaurants at the airport and the products are still good without saying excellent!
What kind of place runs out of beer AND wine...the only two alcoholic drinks they sell.
The service was fast and the pizza is surprisingly good for airport fast food
Pizza at 5:30 in the morning, not greasy at all. Good snack before a flight that wont upset the stomach, soft crust, very yummy.
Employee not speaking a word of French... Quite special
Great food, the staff are awesome and really quick. 10/10 :D
Friendly service and extremely fast. Pizzas are ready in 2 minutes and are great. Not too greasy and really tasty.
NIce staffs, good food, clean, good service
One of the best priced places in airport. Decent food
As far as airport food goes this one gets a thumbs up. The service was fast and the prices for the pizza are actually quite reasonable. Sure they are smaller than a typical pizza but for $12-15 you get a pizza snack suitable for 2 people or one with a decent appetite. The other items such as drinks and snacks are pricey as expected. The service is fast, the pizza is heated up in front of you and was quite fresh, tasted good and filled the need we had for a quick bite before our flight.
Fast, delicious pizza. As far as airport food goes, this place is great! Price is also decent. Get the pineapple and pork pizza... The bacon ends up perfectly crispy . The BBQ chicken pizza was also really good.
I ordered the Pear and Prosciutto because it sounded intriguing. They have about a dozen or so flavors to suit everyones taste. Pizzas are prepped ahead of time, displayed with great description, and baked on the spot once ordered. Servers were knowledgeable and very friendly. Great touch with the balsamic glaze on the pizza we ordered. Yummmmm. Price is reasonable, and size is good for 2 (or one really really hungry person). Just right crust. You get your pizza in less than 5 minutes or just after you pay. Rating : 4.5 stars
Amazing food and so friendly team and excellent service. Highly recommended
It s 2019, offer a vegan option or at least the option not to have cheese.
Pizzas without much flavor but which are ready quickly.
Probably as fast and simple as airport food gets. There is also another YUL Pizza store near Gate 1; head there if you are on a domestic flight.
Ive eaten here a few times, but yesterday three of us ate the pizza and got sick. For a transoceanic flight this is not too popular. To review their health code #MAPAQ @MAPAQ
For fast food pizza, this place is great, And the poutine was awesome. Good poutine fix while in Montreal for a quick layover. Staff are nice and quick too.
Frozen pizza... better food choices are available if you look around
Ingredients top quality - but needs more time in the oven.. I felt the pizza was half baked.
It is incredible that they allow their employees to use Earpods while they are working. I had to repeat 3 times to the person, should one order first or pay?
Its been several times that my pizza has been burned... But when its served well its delicious
Pizza was ok, but flies were terrible. Restaurants have means today to deal with flies, and maybe as this is quite open to concourse the airport authority should be stepping up to deal with it too.
I received a burnt pizza and service not too good.
For the price its okay
There when the store first opened... Conveniently left words off when translated to English which changed the price. Sandwiches made day before, served a little warm, coffee was extremely well and he poured almost 1/3 of it out so that I had to ask for more coffee. In the end, Tim Hortons would have been a better choice for sure, way too expensive for quality.
Kids loved pizza for $10 so good value for money being in an airport. Don t go to international section to eat since over there it s far more expensive for lesser quality. Eat at national flights food court and then walk over check point to international (one way only)
Excellent vegan pizza enjoyed at YUL Pizza at Dorval airport. Thank you for offering a vegan option in your great pizza selection. It was delicious. Excellent service as well, I was very satisfied with my meal.
Great pizzas.
Tasty, interesting options. I have eaten here many times and service is always fast and friendly. The only blemish is that drinks are cool rather than cold.
Great amazing customer service, the workers do very well
Its good, but it is not pizza
Was here in July on a layover to France. Fantastic veggie pizza. Exceeded my expectations! Great taste. I wish there was one in my hometown.
So much paper waste! why not give a plate? Most of the people eat on the spot
I asked for chocolate croissant they gave regular croissant and charged for chocolate. The coffee was bad too
slowest and worst customer service. Ordered food but the cashier then gave my food to the person who ordered after me (after I told him that the order he was preparing was mine and not hers as he was only asking her if she needed more for her to-go order etc). The food he then served to me had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes getting cold because he couldnt figure out how to serve me my food ( duh same box you put the previous order in). The manager didnt give a damn because as I explained I had been waiting nearly 15 minutes- he answered his phone and walked away while I was mid sentence.
