I had miso marinated cod and it was amazing! Cod was great but other parts of the dish were all excellent! Highly recommend!
I went here with my friends and had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was ok. Didn't give the 5 stars because some of the staff were starring at us in a weird way which made us a bit uncomfortable. But nevertheless we had a good time. If you're an av geek, I'm sure you will enjoy the view of the airport ramp. Prices were acceptable. Would probably comeback here if I was around.
This restaurant offers some really tasty dishes. The filet mignon was good, and the salmon tartar was even better, but the lobster rolls were the best. The service wasn’t perfect, but still, it's a great place to eat. Keep in mind, it’s quite expensive, but overall, it’s worth it if you’re looking for a nice meal.
I work at the airport and had a craving for a proper breakfast - I saw that this restaurant offered one so I headed there shortly after it opened, around 0630H I will never order the breakfast ever again. The ''CLASSIC AMERICAN BREAKFAST'' either comes with 1 or 2 eggs - 1 egg is 19$, 2 eggs is 25$ (6 extra dollars for an extra EGG?) Furthermore, you have the option to go for sausages OR bacon - not both, that's extra. So I went with 2 eggs, chose the sausages, but asked for extra bacon - it cost me 34$ (with taxes) Now, I understand it is a ''fancy'' restaurant - but the quality wasn't there either. - 2 tiny eggs - The sausages weren't complete portions - The slices of fruits were absolutely thin and inadequately cut from their peel (so some loss of edible fruit flesh) - The bread was super cheap bread that you can find at any dollar store - and not buttered! - In terms of flavour, very bland too - the potato portion had no flavour All in all, - The quantity is not reasonably proportional to the price - The QUALITY is not at all reasonably proportional to the price None of this meal is worth 34$ - and even if I didn't go with the extra bacon it was at least 27.49$ (if you go with 2 eggs) which is outrageously expensive - if at least it was satisfying or great tasting, I would've been a bit more ''okay'' with that price, but I really can NOT recommend this place for breakfast. That said, the establishment was clean as always (although I did see a small mouse on my way to the restaurant, as it is in an airport) and the staff was friendly, courteous and polite
The manager Abbas, although not supposed to do so, excellently served our dinner. We ordered Grilled Octopus and Pork & Scallop. The food is beyond expectation - how could you expect something special from Marriott or any of the big chained hotel - you can tell the collective effort here to orchestrate such an outstanding dining experience. I don’t know if someone else here would agree or do the same, especially when you work for a name too big to blame, but I am sure that Abbas cares the experience of every guest.
An upscale place even though it says casual. Expensive, but that's an airport for you. Food didn't look like much, but I was quite full after I was done. I had the salmon and shrimp - it came with only 2 shrimp but a good sized piece of salmon. The rice and vegetables were very tasty! The service was very slow. I didn't feel like I had the servers attention and I had to flag him down for another beer, as an example.
Went to have dinner by myself, it was busy so I sat at the bar which was perfect for me!! If you have a big group making a reservation would be smart. I got to watch the TVs they had above the bar but throughout the restaurant there weren’t any. The staff was SOO kind, chatted with me and were genuinely kind. I got the chefs daily pasta, and a delicious chocolate mousse for dessert. Very yummy
It was a busy restart for a dinner. The restaurant was big and had a nice ambience. We could see the airport very well. Food was ok. Salmon tartare was delicious. French onion soup was good too. Burger with French fries were yummy. Service was great and staff were friendly. This was a restaurant in Marriot Montreal Airport hotel.
Food quality and excellent atmosphere!
Believe it or not it was one of the best restaurants weve been to while in Quebec. The price is not higher than outside either which was a surprise. The only down side is that they didnt have creme brulee. They have a creme caramel which is basically flan.
Great experience! Friendly service and a lovely atmosphere!
Nice omelette
Amazing!! Great space, great staff and incredible food. If you are a fan of burgers, their smash burger is incredible. Chicken club sandwich is amazing too.
Food was fine, very good for an airport restaurant. The service was impeccable, I really appreciated our servers and bar staff. The cocktails people were getting looked really good, but I stuck to diet coke. My problem was the floors and windows were filthy, and the tables were still on the dirty side after being bused. It likely a consequence of children running around and kids being kids, which is understandable considering its an airport hotel restaurant (its going to have tired parents and restless kids). It made me feel uncomfortable and we spent our time trying to finish up our food and get out of there rather than stay and get drinks.
Great restaurant to celebrate special occasions. The food is high quality and the price is very reasonable. Highly suggest everyone to try it out
A few days ago, it was my 1st Mothers day and after looking through a long list of available Mothers day brunches in Montréal, I settled on Bijou resto and let me tell you that I am extatic to have discovered this place. I called a week in advance to reserve and already the service over the phone was delightful. The D day, the complete experience was awesome . From the smiling valet attendant to the live singer/music to the diverse buffet without forgetting the exceptional service, we couldnt ask for more. Special thanks to our waiter, Wissam and the manager, Mr. Jalal. Mr. Jalal gave a special attention to our 7 month old daughter. I asked whether they had mashed potatoes and they made it specially for her and even made a second option: mashed celery root which she loved. Thank you so much Mr. Jalal for everything Only thing I wish they had, is a changing table in the bathroom but we made it work.
Very quiet when I went for lunch. Nice staff. The burger was very good and well made.
My friend and I had a HORRIFIC day at the airport and needed some wine and food to get us through the night. We would like to thank the manager and Ayel?? (idk- bartender-you know who he is).. to get us through the night!! I am a server as well, and I know the simple gestures go a long way. The staff, (though it may seem simple), really made our bitter night turn sweet, and we appreciate it. We overheard you had a busy night as well and just want to express our gratitude for letting us dine late. Thank you!! Claire D Almeida & Lauren Henry
Beautiful View... Calm and adorable...
The portions are not proportional to the price, but it is definitely a gem, the food is very tasty, the presentation is amazing and received great service
Yummy food and super friendly staff.
Worst service ever. Literally had to chase them to get the table cleaned and to order drinks and food. Hopefully this was a one-off...
The food was great (had french onion soup, fillet minion, seafood medley pasta, poutine, and drinks) the atmosphere is nice with a comfy modern decor and airport apron views, and the waiter was friendly and responsive. The only reason for four stars is food was brought out cold... cold poutine where the cheese will no longer melt is not great. Not inventive enough to be a top restaurant, but well known food well executed. A great welcome (back) to Canada.
Food was excellent, drinks were strong and the server was really friendly and brought the whole experience together. I ordered a second plate and if I wasnt short on time I wouldve gotten a third one! Definitely my go-to spot when at the airport. Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator
Food was good but service was poor.
Great food! We ate here on Friday Jan 20. We decided to share a couple of plates. We ordered a salmon tartare and also a Caesar salad with salmon. The tartare was well presented and tasted very fresh. It came with toasted bread, caviar and a bit of wasabi on the side. Our Caesar salad was amazing. The sauce is made on site, nice pieces of parmesan and capers throughout the salad that add a very nice flavour. Our service was fantastic. He suggested a nice bottle of wine to go with the meal. The restaurant is very clean, organized and with comfortable chairs. I would highly recommend eating here.
The service was excellent keep up the excellent work and I will return very soon again to your restaurant.
Food was great, good atmosphere. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner many times over several trips through Montreal it is very convenient if you stay at the Marriott Airport hotel. Would highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Roasted veggie sandwich with sweet potato fries pictured above was absolutely amazing
Food came very fast, waiters were polite, food was delicious. I got the cheesesteak sandwich, and it is honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Fries could ve been cooked a little more but were very tasty. Very great restaurant for a quick bite!
Restaurant at the Marriott hotel in Montreal airport, very nice atmosphere, good quality of food, prices a little high but with an acceptable quality-price ratio for being in the airport
Came here for dinner once and the food was great, so I figured I d come for lunch while I had some time. Surprised by the lack of options, I ordered the lentil soup and beef for $16, and it was overly salty and watery. That s fine, I mainly wanted a salad. I ordered the Boston Salad from the appetizers section (since a Caesar salad was the only main salad choice), and figured it would be a decent size as it was more expensive than the main salad. I also ordered chicken on the side for an extra $12. The salad that came was pitiful. It was 4-5 pieces of lettuce, a pinch of apple strips, and maybe 1-2 walnuts crushed up. All this with chicken for $28. I complained at how small it was and they offered me a free coffee. Nonetheless, I was out $50 and still hungry. I l should ve just gotten a Subway salad instead and saved $40.
beautiful restaurant. quite noisy. the price of the wines a little exaggerated.
I realize this is an airport restaurant, but it s in a 4 star hotel and charging 4 star prices. If you ve ever had a smoked meat sandwich in Montreal, do yourself a favour and DON T order the smoked meat sandwich here. It s a far cry from the Chef s Famous Smoked meat as advertised. Who do they think they are fooling? It s clearly pre-sliced, pre-packaged and boiled to order. The smallest smoked meat I have ever seen, for 24$ when they paid it maybe 5$. The taste average for something that isn t fresh, but call it what it is, don t try to fool me by calling this Chef s famous . Look at my photos. It s a perfect circle of meat. That s not what fresh smoked meat sandwich looks like. 32$ later, what a rip off. Not to mention miscommunication amongst the staff which resulted in my order taking 45 minutes to be ready.
It was our first time at this resto... we try it for Easter brunch! The atmosphere and the service were good but the food was so so! It doesnt match our expectations for a marriott restaurant !!!
This is a great restaurant and place to sit at a bar and have a drink. Located in the lobby of the Marriott at the airport, makes it so convenient. Food was great and the service was very attentive. First class
The best Mothers day gift you can give is brunch at Bijou! Fantastic choice of foods both breakfast and lunch. They had a beautiful band and you feel you are on holiday
Service always great! Food is great!
Went here a couple years ago when my flight was cancelled. I am 100% serious that the risotto changed my life. I still dream about this risotto. It was quiet and my partner and I had a wonderful dinner. It was Christmas Eve and we were sad to not be with family but this restaurant made it worth it.
Nice restaurant at the airport, good services, good food! Quite expensive! I had Cornish chicken! Onion soup and it was good!
Good selection of premium liquor. Limited menu with some great daily offerings. I had the haddock fish and chips, which I found to be as good or better than ive had.
The cheese, nuts, onions plate is a must!! I get it every time I stay here! It is masterful!! Every little thing, including the greens is delicious!! Always a treat, and something I look forward to enjoying!
Great location to relax while waiting on your flight. Lots of food options at different times of the day. Perfect if you want to watch sports and enjoy some drinks. The burger was so good and well seasoned. The Poutine looked delicious aswell.
We stayed in the Trudeau airport hotel before leaving for NYC the next day. We ordered a glass of wine and the glass arrived at the table dirty!!!, the glass was stained with lipstick, disgusting!! We received a simple we apologize and changed glasses .we then ordered a table of cheeses to accompany the glass which finally arrived half an hour later, which of course was no longer necessary . The jewelry bar is a bit faded in my opinion. Unfortunately very bad experience and certainly not to be repeated or recommended!
Very pleasant, amazing food and a band on Wednesday and Thursday! Everything was perfect, I recommend this restaurant.
I havent had a Foie Gras burger with Parmigiano fries in like never!! Its a mouth watering delight!
OK not great. Adequate later evening menu. Staff ok, not overly friendly. Burger was good.
Waiter was awesome(Vince) , Very disappointed that wings and calamari were not on the menu. Thank God our waiter gave us the recipe for the wings. My whole family wanted to eat here, but knowing that the wings and calamari were not available anymore, they did not come.. oh one more thing. We liked coming here for dinner even not having to stay at the hotel but now that we have to pay $45 plus tax for parking send we will definitely think twice.
Impeccable service from our waitress Jackie.
Airport hotel bar restaurant really good à bit expensive though
Worst customer service! I am vegetarian so I needed some clarification on the menu items. The waiter called the chef who came out to talk to me. I told him the menu says that the caesar salad is vegetarian but the caesar salad dressing has anchovies in it. Whereas the menu said pasta is not vegetarian, but it had no meat or fish in it. So what was written on the menu was the opposite of what was being offered. And when I pointed this out to the chef he just shrugged his shoulders and didnt bother to say a single word. Why are you in this business if you dont care about your customers? Did not expect such rudeness in Canada.
Very nice and cozy place!! I had the steak and octopus, and they were perfectly cooked!!
Very basic food for the upscale price
Great food and service!
The squid is delicious. But the sauce for the poutine is tasteless. I suggest a pepper or Madeira sauce.
Slow service but waiter compensated with complimentary drinks service was good
Good food, good ambiance, convenient to meet someone for a meal before taking off or after landing.
Very nice bar, pleasant atmosphere and good cocktail!
Been traveling through the Montreal airport a lot the last several months, staying overnight at the Marriott airport hotel. I have eaten several times at Bijou Resto Bar. Each time I have been impressed. The menu is fairly extensive, and reasonably priced. The food is very good! Service has been attentive and friendly. Whether you are staying overnight or just have a few hours to pass, I recommend dining here!
Our flight was cancelled and we had to stay the night at the airport. This was my wife and I s 2nd anniversary and it felt like we were really cared for by the host Kevin. He was very receptive to our needs and was very kind. Thank you Kevin for making it feel more like home in a foreign place.
Cheap.
Nice bar.
Great drinks
Food was sub par. The $40 seafood pasta was watery and the noodles were not cooked properly, definitely not worth the buck. On top of that, you get to have one of the worst customer service experience for a restaurant in such a great hotel. Forgot the name of the guy but an older waiter wearing glasses was extremely arrogant and dismissive when asked a question. Definitely not recommended.
We had a few meals here in July and August. Food was delicious and service from waiters was generally excellent. Older gentleman waiter was a bit abrupt. Nice layout and ambiance. When we were here there were hardly any other customers so it was nice and quiet.
A bit pricey but you are inside the airport and the food is extremely good. The highlight is the service - the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Shout out to Onofrio! Great guy working the morning and lunch shifts. Hell give you recommendations off the menu and a good chat. Recommended.
Food was very expensive for what you get. Won t go again.
Our dishes were really delicious and out server was super nice & attentive. And plus they gave us a discount on our order as much as $100 because of our anniversary, which we greatly appreciate!
The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. All the waiters speak three languages and are loving. They canceled a flight, and being able to eat here changed our night, the soups are a delight to the soul. Keep it up!!!
Excellent Caesar salad. Friendly service.
Delicious food, great service. Good place to relax before the flight.
Very good atmosphere, good menu selections and friendly staff.
Service and food are always nice here. The way they handle kids is a bit weird though. (See below) Parking: The hotel has a Valet service which is free of charge if validated at the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The way they handle kids is a bit weird: We were 4 adults and one 2yr old toddler, made a reservation beforehand where they assured us everything would be fine for the kid. They have high chairs and kids menu. Which is great. But we had to ask for water for the kid and also for ustensiles (asked for a fork, got a spoon) which is... well, an uncommon combination. Also, the restaurants toilets do no have a changing station (at least not the men ones). When I asked an employee, they brought us to another toilet with a broken changing station (cut strap and inclined so much the kid was slipping off it) still in a women bathroom (slightly awkward, although since its actually an individual bathroom with a lock on it: whatever). They did take note of the broken changing table, so hopefully the next person will have one in working order. Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance and elevators. The toilets are not really wheelchair accessible though, so YMMV.
Good but very expensive
Very good service. The meals are delicious. The chicken wings are superb. The chili is excellent!! Overall, a beautiful experience that I am sure it will be to your liking. If you are traveling, I would suggest you go early to the Airport to do your luggage checking and then go have a cold beer and a nice meal before your departure.
Very expensive for meals, drinks. Service too fast you would think in a fast food restaurant.
Friendly staff. Good Christmas dinner to accompany family members who will be flying away tomorrow. To note, our server was particularly nice, we were treated to appreciated service. Worthy customer service representative for foreign visitors.
Service
Absolutely delightful! Great service.
Alright
We had a fantastic experience here this evening. My wife and I dined here late at night on our way to our vacation, and our server Alex was full of great conversation and recommendations. The food was filling, and we had some wonderful drinks. Definitely recommend for the great staff and service!
Excellent food at this airport restaurant
Nice foods, good server, very clean too
The food is of good quality, although our table dhôte starter got off to a bad start, with a 4-bite portion of salad accompanied by a meager piece of grapefruit... The rest of the meal was delicious, adequate portions. What was seriously lacking was the service, contrary to other comments which praise it. 1h30 for the 3-course table dhôte, reservation at 6pm, dining room half full, and we had to chase the waiters to get what was missing. Not impressive on this aspect.
Its okay place for Montreal airport, nothing special, typical bar food. Service was pretty fast, ok for quick bite. Not the best place in the area, but they are trying to offer decent service and food for such busy location. I wish they would have more healthy options.
Nice atmosphere, excellent food, but its a bit expensive
Very nice
Easy reservation process (Thank you, Ms. Emily & Ms. Flavia!) Warm welcome. Great service (Thank you, Mr. Vince). Excellent experience, beautiful views, delicious, and well presented food: We were welcomed with a basket of warm bread varieties (sour dough, and mini olive ciabatta with butter spheres) as we were informed of the locally produced beer. We tried the blonde Matante and the rouge beer. From the Table dhôte, we ordered the creamy parmesan risotto with peices of Nordique shrimp and shallots. For the main course our party tried 1. the tender beef shoulder with naturally sweet roasted peppers, crunchy asparagus, and flavourful potato puree (see photo) ; 2. The grilled trout with quinoa salad; and 3. The creamy sea shell pasta with chorizo salad. The dessert was a divine surprise! A delectable frozen pistachio pâté over raspberry confit, chocolate & pistachio crumble, and fresh raspberries. A first time experience tasting such a dessert. I devoured it before thinking to photograph it--my only regret. It was such a delicious piece of art! Its got me planning my return to Bijou Restaurant at The Marriot YUL. And, parking is validated after you dine. Really memorable experience!
Very interesting place
The waffles were hard and sugary, and the eggs benedict were salty with way too much lemon in the hollandaise. I wouldn t eat here for the price again. Service was nice, but a dated experience in need of a new chef and refreshed decor. Not becoming of a Marriott.
Friendly setting, a food menu with choices for all tastes; and delicious.
Impressive bar with great food:). Thanks for the great experience.
The meal I had at Bijou was one of the best meal I had in a while. The cheese plate was delicious, the steak good, but a little more cooked than asked, the dessert was excellent. Service was good. This restaurant is so good I wish I had to pick someone up at the airport weekly.
Great upscale hotel and restaurant that will provide exactly what you need. I was here for a working lunch and enjoyed the soup of the day and lobster mac & cheese for substantially less than what it could be priced at for an airport hotel. The bartender Daniel was extremely professional, courteous and had great knowledge of the menu. The staff in this restaurant were incredible, two nights in the hotel and we felt like we knew them all. Their service was quick, attentive and always with a smile. The food is great for snacks or fine dining.
Very disappointed with the service... long wait to get our meals and the buffet was not very good unfortunately.
The setting is pleasant, as are the staff. Simply food that doesnt break a ducks three legs... (not great quality-quantity-price ratio)
Excellent service and the seasoning of the food like at home.
Vincenzo was fantastic. Food was great and ambiance was even better. Would recommend to anyone who s at the Trudeau airport for an extended period.
Almost, but not quite. The wine was excellent but everything that came out of the kitchen was a tiny bit off - a pinch of salt here, a squeeze of lemon there; some seafood slightly under, other fair bit over. Servers a bit distracted (probably should have changed before dinner but I was kind of hungry on arrival from my slacker Carribean holiday ) . Overall, Ive had better for less $.
Superb I recommend
I liked the relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful decor and the personalized service.
Food is not good.
Pricey but good
Favourite restaurant. They offer very good food and superior service. Great for celebrations!
Very nice hotel resto-bar. Very tasty food. I had a great charcuterie plate of local meats as a late, light lunch along with a very smooth blond microbrew.
My wife arrived early and was basically ignored. Got her wine with no follow up. I arrived and we ordered light food to a disinterested server. Had to ask for serviettes and got drink napkins had to ask for utensils He never came back to ask how the food was so we did not get salt and pepper etc. No tip for you.
Superb drinks
I am more than impressed. I came to the restaurant on Friday and Sunday. Two different menus at a standard I have not experienced in a hotel restaurant at an airport before. Congratulations on amazing food and wonderful service
Ate here, enjoyed the Pasta bar with vouchers from the hotel. Service was great and the food was really good! Would go again.
Good drinks and nice atmosphere. A little expensive, but it IS a hotel at the airport after all.
A little pricey but always nice
I recommend this restaurant. Not for its menu and its cuisine which is correct, but rather because it is a quiet place to have a meal before your departure.
