The service was decent. Beside the waitress seating us that seemed a bit uninterested, the waiter serving us was wearing a smile and he was quite polite too. The food itself was tasty. I really liked the smokey flavour of the meat, it paired so well with their BBQ sauce. The meat was also falling right off the bone which was great and made eating their meal a lot less messy. You also get to pick 2 sides with the main course which ended being a salad and a coleslaw for me and I was a bit disappointed in those because it tasted a bit bitter. The place is pretty big and there's a great amount of space in between the table so it makes the dining experience less cramped and more comfortable. I did however not really enjoy the high chairs and tables because it doesn't feel quite comfortable eating in them. Finally, I do find the price a bit expensive. Most meals are about 28-30$, the chicken and sausage I had was around 29$ before tax and tips. The portion is pretty big though so it does make up for the price somewhat.
The staff were quite cold. The person who sat us hardly said anything and didn’t smile. She just told us to follow her. Then our waitress also didn’t even say hi or smile at all. She just stood there waiting for us to tell her what we wanted to drink. My husband told her we had a sleeping baby just to try and make the air lighter and she replied with, “do you want me to not talk?”. The food was ok. My sandwich didn’t have any sauce (I don’t remember if it was supposed to). My husband enjoyed his food though. The food was a bit pricey but that’s somewhat expected with airport food.
Had an hour to eat and they confirmed it would be enough time. When the food arrived after 30 minutes, the salmon was charred. Only about 2/3 of the salmon was edible. the server never came to check in until we asked for the check so I wasn’t able to get a new order in, especially with the tight timeline at the airport. Wouldn’t recommend, especially if you have an hour or leas to eat
Price is what brings this rating down. I know airports are expensive. I know sit down restaurants at airports are worse, but damn 70 bucks for a sandwich, and two bowls of soup is crazy! I had two sodas and tipped as well, but that is a crazy amount. The food tasted great. The service was fantastic. But it is expensive. They were also VERY fast. Like we ate in under thirty minutes at a sit down restaurant. Our waitress even asked if we had a flight to catch!
I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was fine but not the greatest I have ever had, just OK. However, the fries were terrible. They were limp and had no seasoning. Avoid the fries. My wife had a salad and it also was flavorless. The local Montreal draft beer was good. Total bill was $73.43 Canadian (airport robbery). Next time I am in Montreal I will order something else or try another place. Service was good. Too bad the food was meh. Not recommended.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The flavour was okay and the fries would have been good but the only thing that arrived hot was the BBQ sauce I ordered after for the pork because the sandwich was so dry. Also, I know this is airport food but for the price, there wasn't much meat, a very bread heavy sandwich. Overall very disappointing as I don't eat for this often and hoped for a treat. Regarding the service, I eventually sat at the bar because no one was coming to serve me. Even there, after I received my food, no one asked how it was. I had to call the bartenders over if I needed anything and at that point I felt like it was pointless to tell anyone my food arrived ice cold. In fact, no one checked on me at all. They were pleasant though, hence the 2 stars. Bottom line: No reason for cold food for a restaurant this busy and pricey. The breakfast sandwich I had at McDonald's earlier was better.
For an airport restaurant, this beats all the odds for a delicious meal. The menu is excellent, and when the ordered food arrived, it looked great. And it tasted great, too. The grilled meats get top marks. They are tender and delicious. The side salads are fresh and tasty. The sauces on the meat are yum. Staff are very attentive and friendly. There are different sections to sit according to your preference. There is also a bar area of you just want to drink and nibble.
We got to the airport a little early so wanted to have a sit down meal. The food is enjoyable. Good options for different tastes. We had a club sandwich, veggie burger and fish and chips. The atmosphere is pleasant. Not hectic like many airport restaurants. The waitress was really nice. And great retro music.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
The wait staff made the experience! I had George as my waiter, he was wonderful. Had the Eggs & Tots tater tots were lovely, wish I couldve eaten the whole plate. Generous portions!
Horrible service. Subpar food. Dont waste your time. Sat for 45min without being approached for a food order. Have been here 3 times now and each time is the same experience. Overpriced food that doesnt even taste good. Airport food is in general expensive but this place isnt even worth it. And if you do decide to come, give yourself at least 2 hours.
I had the dirty mac and cheese, I knew it would be expensive for the food but I had hoped at least the food would be tasty, but it was not.
Very, very nice wait staff & good menu, reasonable prices
We had dinner there and had BBQ ribs pork as suggested by server, Hussam. Food was pretty good . I really appreciate Hussam for his excellent customer service and he was very attentive to my food intolerance.
Our server was exceptional. She was alone, at a busy breakfast time and managed to serve everyone in a timely, friendly, and efficient way. The food was very good, hot, and as ordered. She thanked us for choosing Pork and Pickle, and invited us to come back anytime! Great experience!
An utterly uninspired and dissapointing meal. The bar for a meal at an airport is very low, and the Pork and Pickle failed to reach it. If you are in the market for cold fries that are also overcooked somehow, and a vegetarian Bahn Mi that had sweet potato fries as the protein, then this place will scratch that itch for you. I regret not eating at the McDonalds instead. Vegetarian options: Terrible
Had breakfast and lunch here today due to delayed flight. Food was great and Francisco was a kind and fun server!
The price is very high for what you get. The menu contains a limited choice. In addition, during my visit, 3 items on the menu were not available, and a strong smell of burnt wood was present (I am allergic to it and it makes me sneeze for 3 days and it makes me sick) at this price and with these conditions it is better to go to six pint on the other after the endless corridor in the other part of the airport. Additionally the minimum tip on their machine starts at 18% after taxes which is equivalent to 20% because the tip must be on the amount before taxes. Its already $30 for 2 eggs, 1 toast, a few pieces of potatoes and a minimum of bacon.
45 minutes and no food still...and now an hour and 10... Do yourself a favor and skip this restaurant
The food was okay (other than the fact that the glasses smelled like dish soap), but the service was very bad. It took forever to get my food and even longer to get my check. Management needs to remember that this is an airport restaurant people aren t here to linger. Have some respect for your customers time!
For an airport restaurant this is a joke .. rude servers and itook us more than 45 mins to get a single burger and fries so unless you have a long layover and need to spent hours in a single place avoid this place at all cost I m honestly surprised they are still in business.
Its terrible, the food is bad and the service is slow. This place would never survive outside of the captive market of airport.
We first order the smoke rib and it is totally burn! Chicken wings has no taste of chicken at all. Ordered the coke and it is flat. This place is waste of money and your time
I had the most pricy burger and was expecting something good as a burger lover. For my surprise the burger had weird mix of tastes that didnt go together as i expected. Very bold and untasty, dry, reaching top 3 worst burgers i had. Fries were good, ketchup was nice, mayo was weird. Also i expected great pickles, but no. I ordered cocacola that tasted and smelled like pool water. Good customer service.
Don t eat here. They served me raw chicken!
Breakfast poutine was good. Lots of sauce not much brisket the egg was nice. It could use some lemon in the sauce that I am sure came in powder form. Airport food. Expensive and bland.
Worst place ever!!! I ve had a poutine there.it was the worst place I have ever tried Poutine from!! Also it s very expensive for nothing
Dont ever order the brisket sandwich. Disgusting with too much chewy fat. Not sure why I ordered a brisket from an airport. Bad mistake
Very bad lunch. Cold meal, cold coffee and not very tasty lunch. All this for $75! Not worth it.
My uncle and I had breakfast here, two cheese omelettes, two coffees and one orange juice. It was $70. The table was sticky, the server was very short with us. When I was paying he said what that s all the tip you re leaving me? I was shocked. I said I wasn t even going to leave a tip. He said he has to pay taxes on this bill. I said I already paid taxes. He said we shouldn t eat out if we can t leave a large tip because he has to pay taxes. What a horrible experience. Getting yelled at because he wanted a larger tip. That s never happened to me before. Avoid this place.
After coming from our European vacation we decided to eat here. Overall, we had been greatly disappointed with the food quality in Europe. We were hoping for some good food and were thoroughly disappointed. The food was so salty that we did not eat most of it. My daughters mac and cheese had hair in it. We only had limited time to get to our connecting flight so I did not have time to have a discussion with the management. For a restaurant rated so highly do you guys not use hair nets or intermittently taste the food to make sure the quality is good? I cant give zero star but that would be my actual rating.
The brisket routine is excellent
A big thank you to Pierre and Marc André for their service at the bar! The Belgian couple delighted to have been able to drink a good beer ;)
Decent spot for airport food. Staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend the smoke show brisket meltdown.
Super rude staff, completely uninterested in serving us
This place has the most rude staff I have ever experienced in a restaurant/ bar. I walked in there today to sit at the bar while waiting for a flight and the bartender demands that I put my carry on at the end of the bar far away from where I was sitting (even though 6 other people were sitting at the bar with their carryon baggage. So fine I take it to the end and I sit at a table. The closet table to where my luggage apparently had to be. A separate woman comes up to me and asks me if I am alone. When I reply yes she says I am not permitted to sit there (it was a table of 4) and said you need to move and abruptly walks away. Not politely asking me to move just total attitude. The restaurant wasn t even 1/4 full. It is like they don t care how they treat their patrons. So I just walked out, went to the restaurant around the corner and spent my $80 elsewhere. Great attitude on your staff Pork & Pickle. The suck!
Ribs were hard and dry service was slow
Price is very high for what you re getting. Service was good but the food was anything but good. There is zero chance I d return to this restaurant if I was in the airport. I d recommend getting anything else.
Great food experience.
Good place to eat
Terrible waitress. Type one diabetic who needed a coke for a low blood sugar and brings me diet. Didnt know because she brought it in a glass instead of a can. Then told me they were out of the only thing on the menu that I could eat.
Completely bas service. Ownew was so rude. I wanted to chargey phone for 5 minutes so i can make a phone call to my home.i ordered a coffee and he mentioned that coffe is not enough. Completely rude and bad service
The presentation was great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a tasty breakfast!
Oh my gawd the Mac and cheese is the object of nightmares. The bbq is the most basic dry option with a tomatoe compote (flavorful but suuuper dry) on top. Typical airport option and less than other airport options.
It was quite good
The food was lukewarm and bland. I assumed because it was sit-down they would have a kitchen that can make hot food, which is why I was okay with overpaying. Not worth it at all. Felt like everything was microwaved and the kitchen forgot about it. $5 drip coffee was truck stop gas station quality. Would be one star, but the food was technically edible and the table service was acceptable.
Very kind server (Frank 302532) - excellent service and great food! Highly recommend the breakfast BLT without egg, sub extra bacon One warning Orange juice was 5.99 for a small glass!!
One of the better airport restaurants Ive been in.
Food tastes great, but chicken and rice portion sizes are too small for a $25 bowl. Hectic to-go ordering. Took 25 min to get two rice bowls.
Had a plate of poutine and a coke during my layover. My photo does it no justice, but it *was* delicious. Bit pricey, but, its an airport restaurant, so nothing unexpected there. But was nice to have some good poutine at the source, here in Quebec
I m sorry to say but the food was so bland, service was all fine and dandy but I can t believe this place is still operating with this bad quality of food, it actually doesn t do any favors to Montreal being a foodie city .
We were wonderfully welcomed by our server Roberto! The tasting platter! Perfect for 4 people! Wow! Meat cooked to perfection! The taste of smoke is not too strong perfect music and ambiance!! Thank you
The Mac b cheese were overcooked and I was told tips were obligatory and made me feel very uncomfortable
Jessica and Carlos are amazing. I come here absolutely every time I fly to Montreal
Ordered a platter. Chicken was super dry, had been sitting out for hours. Waitress brought it back. Guy came from the kitchen and confronted us for returning it. Violent and way overboard for what was happening. Maniac.
Good and plentiful, I recommend the Pulled Pork and Pickles Burger.
The sandwich had 3 small pieces of brisket on it for 20 something bucks. Wasnt all that great. Classic airport extortion
We waited about 30 min just to get served. Then we waited just to get drinks They admitted they were slow but there werent that many people in the restaurant. Very slow service especially if you are in a rush to catch the plane. We will never come here again. The service is very poor for the price. We will not come back again until they improve their service
Waited 45 mins for a veggie burger. Watched 4 other tables that were seated way after me get their meals before me. When I went to notify the manager she said it s because of a new menu? Literally the worst airport restaurant experience I ve ever had. Ended up paying 8$ for a side of fries that took 40 mins. Fries were decent though.
Didn t get to try the food because I was so unhappy with the service I didn t even sit down. Hostess ignored me even though I was at the front of the line. When asked for a table of one, she seemed inconvenienced and took me to the worst table in the place even though they were half empty. It was also not cleaned from the previous sitting. I asked for a different table because I wanted a quieter place to work. She said now and then seemed to make up a reason on the spot which had me shaking my head. I just said forget it and walked out. Felt unwelcome from the start.
Rudest customer service ever
Understandably, its a bit expensive, but your in an airport so it makes sense
My son has celiac disease and I asked the waitress for gluten free options. She recommended 3 items along with fries. I specifically asked if they had a dedicated fryer for the fries and she responded YES. I asked numerous times if the meal was for sure gluten free since I know the impact if not. The waitress acted like she knew what she was talking about, but now I realize she was lying or pretended to know. During our flight my son became extremely sick. Ignorant people don t realize how consuming gluten affects people with celiac disease. If you arent sure that the food you are serving is GF then just say so and we will choose not to eat there, don t mislead customers into thinking their food is gluten free. I have tried to contact the restaurant and it is impossible. I wonder how many other people have been glutened at this restaurant without being able to report it. Very scary.
If I could give this a 0 I would. When we walked in there was a woman already getting sassy with me and my family about where we entered. Next my mother ordered a coffee seeing as our flight was delayed by 4 hours after a 9 hour flight she was going to need it. When she needed another one my step father went to the bar to ask for another when the bartender borderline laughed in his face saying he was too busy for something like that. If busy is taking shots on the job he s nailing it. Otherwise very pathetic and disappointing. This man definitely lives with his mother at his grown age. Next, we asked for the bill and our server if you can even call him that brought the manager who then said it was our fault because we couldn t find him early enough, saying it was too late for him to do anything now . How about telling your bartender to stop trying to get blackout drunk and try having some common decency with other citizens. (He had also thrown someone s free meal ticket at their face saying and I quote this is for food only didn t you read it ) The manager was hiding behind a wall in the restaurant. How do you expect me to find you and talk about your awful service if you re hiding. Clearly there s a reason you are. Overall, a sad excuse for a restaurant I wish I would ve gone to Tim Hortons or something instead of wasting not only my time but my money as well. What a headache. Side note: the following photo is literally not visible anywhere else in the restaurant aside from outside of it.
I ordered the dirty chips. They were awful. Burnt meat pieces that were ice cold out of the fridge. The server lied about checking in with me. She did not. Disgusting food and awful service. Avoid.
Food was decent for an airport restaurant. Waiter was incredibly rude about a mistake on a tip. Only provided additional cash tip to prevent any further altercation between him and my partner.
The worst Pork Ribs that I ever had eaten. They way that they served it wasnt very Appealing, they look like they have been served hours before they go to the table, they do not look fresh and they do not taste good either. The chicken is not really BBQ. Its roasted chicken with a layer of sugary BBQ sauce that I really disliked and had to brush it off. Same for the ribs.
gross! they choose the tip for you! never again
The barista decided to choose on the machine how much tip I should leave for him
The food was alright, nothing special. It wasn t the worst I ve had, but it certainly wasn t the best either. However, the service was terrible. The waiter, Jose, threw the receipt at me after seeing I didn t leave a tip. I had intended to leave a cash tip, but after his reaction, I decided it would be a waste to give it to him.
Great, fast service and good food for an airport option. Smoked wings were great!
Got the fish and chips but wasnt given the cornbread that was meant to come with it. The waiter was everywhere but near our table, it took a very long time to get his attention for our bill, nearly missed our flight for it. Also the waiter was wiping his nose with his hand, then handling food
Hostesses & waitress were wonderful but manager who was running the kitchen needs to learn about customer service. Ordered the Dirty Mac & Cheese which said it came w corn bread. It arrived not matching the description and without the corn bread I asked and was told they didn t have any because the regular chef wasn t there. The waitress offered to get a baguette instead. I was really looking forward to the cornbread but said it would work. She comes back w a plain piece of toast and butter in a cup that had crumbs in it. I think she was embarrassed but it was what her manager told her to take me. I asked to speak w the manager but he wouldn t come out to see me and sent a baguette. Which was almost more insulting because that meant they had it to send me originally and was just being rude. The waitress was very kind during all of this but a management change should be considered. The food over all was ok but not great. Wheelchair accessibility: The hostess was great finding a table that my wife could access w her wheelchair.
Impeccable, friendly service but the food is frankly not great. Large quantity but quality to be reviewed.
A really nice smoke house in the airport. There is a great pub like feel to the place and there is a great selection of delicious meals to choose from and the prices are fairly reasonable.
The cod and fish aint nothing to look at but the batter was crisp and full of flavor! Cod is fresh and tender. A surprising dish at a place focuses on pork.
Was pretty excited after seeing the menu out front. I got the Smoked Brisket sandwich, as a BBQ fan I couldn t say no to a brisket sandwich. Unfortunately what showed up was a hot bun with cold brisket and only one small and cold piece of meat in this massive bun. I asked the waiter if the meat was supposed to be warm to which he replied, warm but not hot. I was given a new sandwich after about 10 minutes, this one had less meat somehow, though it was warm, it was dry and rather flavourless. Maybe the brisket was just bad the day I went, but I won t be going again. The saving grace was honestly the fries, they were generous with the portions. The service was okay, once I had the issue and asked for a new sandwich the waiter ignored us for the rest of our meal.
Service was perfect. I ordered a smoke salmon salad and one half of the avocado was rotten, the crispy capers not fried . Table was not very clean, the plate was not super clean either and the menus sticky. Obligation to leave 18% tip. I would not go back
Worst 30$ salad Ive ever eaten at a restaurant, including a dirty plate. Nearly no service was provided once I was seated. I guess theyre used to the steady flux of new customers at the airport. To avoid.
Not sure what they do to their old fashions, but it sure isn t traditional. 2/10 for it. I am hungry for a snack, but not a full meal. I ordered a kids burger and been told they are not allowed to sell a kids burger to an adult. To bad, now he lost money from me not buying any food and after one drink (which was a total disappointment) I left. Otherwise I would have been there for the next hour drinking Owner , think again about your useless rules
What a great place to stop after a flight from Cancun.
Horrible place for breakfast. I ordered beef brisket and they didnt have it, then they offer to replace the brisket with bacon (four strips) and charged the same amount of the brisket without serving you the brisket, plus 5 dollars for the bacon. Even the basic coffee is 5 bucks. Never come back.
Ordered the brisket sandwich. There was one slice of brisket, most of which was fat. Would not go back. Waitress was reasonably quick, not friendly but not rude. The atmosphere is crowded and noisy but about what you should expect for an airport.
Very good
The food was garbage, but the service was very good. Good luck
Sat down like I did in the last few years at this restaurant. Ordered a coffee, orange juice and Toasts like I often do. Was told I need to order a full breakfast to be allowed to eat here. Restaurant was close to empty actually often is. Checked past receipts, average spend always hovers around $25. I always tip 20%+. I am in and out in 20 minutes usually. Hope you don t treat your staff like you treat your clients. I understand your costs and all but making your clients feel like this is not the way to run a business. Or it might be in your case. Thanks
Super rude. Sat me at a table so I could work on a laptop. The waiter didnt come for 15 mins and then told me I couldnt order just a drink and had to order food to use a table. All the tables were empty. They were not busy at all. I was already into my work and had to shut everything down to find another place to work. A place that is this rude to a customers face, imagine how much effort is going into the food! Greedy and Selfish.
Really disappointing! $5 for a filter coffee! Burnt toast! Impossible to serve this to a customer. I made only one request: to have 1 egg instead of 2, I got 2 anyway. Poor quality meat. Almost $40 for one person. Avoid!
Overall Im not too impressed. The place was empty when I came and I was seated next to the waiters booth so I was always bumped into. The service made me feel rushed to get out, I wasnt even done eating and I was pressed to have the bill. Good was decent quality but the service is what lacked.
Was singled out , and server very rude
Great service and the poutine really hit the spot!
Burger was burnt. Perogies were gross. Brisket Poutine is the only reason this is getting any stars.
I had a beer and ordered the smoked beef brisket sandwich to go. Service was great, but when I opened the sandwich on the plane, my first thought was how embarrassed the serving staff would be if they saw what their kitchen thought was acceptable I marked down service only because they should check what they re serving, even for takeout. There is absolutely no chance I d try this place again even if the meal was free! Meat was tasty on its own, but the portion and presentation was dismal perhaps a teaspoon of slaw (if that s what it was). An absolute embarrassment to an otherwise awesome airport.
Excellent
Usually I enjoy this restaurant. Food tastes average. The pierogi poutine is good. The beef brisket poutine is not that good. Today I was limited for time. I requested if my order can be placed as a fast order and I can sit and eat. However, they said they can put it in as fast order for takeout only. This would mean I was not allowed to sit and eat their takeout food in the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy either which left me confused.
Food was mediocre at best. I dont mind paying $25 for a sandwich and fries if the sandwich is good. It was cold and just slapped together with zero presentation. Fries were cold too. The beer was nice though.
I had the smoked turkey and bacon sandwich served on Texas toast. $22. At Pork & Pickle in the Montreal intl airport. The smoked turkey was tasty real sliced turkey, not deli meat. But there was only one slice of bacon in the sandwich. And one skimpy leaf of lettuce. A good sandwich should have 2 slices of bacon so you get some in every part of the sandwich, and thick crisp lettuce. Seemed skimpy for $22. There was more bread than filling.
The skinny fries clog your artery each bite. Not skinny.
Such great service.!! Really made my day! Merci beaucoup
Great spot for casual dining and great prices. For an airport restaurant this location hits the spot. Pub food, great drinks and service was very fast! Would definitely visit again! Food
Yesnnn. It seems they have a smoker! The meats were DELICIOUS!!! The bar service is OK but the bartender could have been nicer to the waitresses since he does bar service too. I found it boring but the food is really so good!!!
Vegetarian options: Salade Kid-friendliness: Quiche Wheelchair accessibility: Oui
Decent restaurant before taking the plane.
Pricey but it is in the airport.
Ate here with a party of four. Everything we ate was awful. Look elsewhere.
Service is slow, food not that great and fairly expensive. We ve been there more than once (unfortunately) so I know of what we speak
Great place to eat! After a long flight when you are transiting to a domestic flight, sitting here and eating delicious food is a great way to make long haul stop overs pass by faster.
Sylvie and the rest of the crew really seem to enjoy what they do and it makes for a great atmosphere. Just whats needed for a pick-me-up when you have a long wait between flights. The food is great without saying. Definitely recommend
Dietary restrictions: Their beef brisket sandwich is very dry and hard. Nothing special about it ! They will give you useless foods for expensive . The people working there are friendly but the food is poor quality ! Sorry Food
Absolutely the worst food Ive ever attempted to eat.... its so bad, that its worth trying just for the laughs ...but for the price, maybe skip it.
Typically, I dont expect good food or service at the airport, but this place is by far the worst airport restaurant experience. Food didnt taste like anything at all, and we had to wait so long even tho it was a slow day and lots of empty tables
I went in for lunch. The service is excellent, but I ordered the Club Sandwich. The meat was extremely dry and difficult to swallow. The fries were nice and hot and a big portion. The menu is relatively small and the prices are a bit high, but it is the airport. They should have more small plates as the sandwich and fries were a bit too much for me.
I really distasted the food. I ordered the salmon which was horrible and bland. I could taste the bitterness and fishiness of the salmon. I also did not enjoy the salad which was served as a small portion size. However, our waiter was really attentive and friendly.
Food is OK and the staff are nice
Been here for over an hour. Have been trying to pay out for Fourty minutes. Being repeatedly ignored. Tried waiving down multiple servers and a hostess.
What a great place to eat in YUL. The staff are great. Smoked brisket grilled cheese was very good.
Mehdi, José and Robert give excellent service with a big smile! Best in the Montréal airport! Thanks for bringing joy to your work environment and to your clients!
Great spot to have a drink and wait at the airport
I came to Pork & Pickle for dinner a while ago. In terms of food, I tried their Smoked Beef Brisket BBQ. There was a nice slice of brisket that went really well with the sauce. The bread, coleslaw, and fries were decent as well. Overall, it was a bit pricey but pretty good food at the airport, so I d give it 7.5/10
Good food great service a great place to eat when you choices are limited.
Hi please don t eat the salad here. I got very sick shortly after eating. It was very disgusting. I don t say this to be rude. It is a warning. It s quite expensive for a salad. Please look at the brown avacado, and soggy smoked salmon . There was no dressing, just capers and oil..Yuck!
I think his name is samuel !! He deserves raise and compensation!! He know how to treat the customer and if supervisor is not dumb, he/she should give him raise!!
I ordered the smoked brisket grilled cheese. It came with fries, a delicious pickle, and a tasty kale slaw. The sandwich was incredible. I will definitely be back the next time I m through YUL. The friendly & fast service was greatly appreciated.
The food was not good. The staff were very kind on the other hand.
Pretty mid experience. The service was quick and efficient. The food is not great and the portions are pretty small for the price. But you are in a airport so no worse then anywhere else. Kid-friendliness: Allows kids
I had the breakfast BLT and it was just okay. The potatoes they gave me were terrible, must have been warmed over from 24 hours ago. Overpriced for the quality, should have gone with Timmy s.
Corn chowder was delicious. Bartender and Manager were so nice. Manager saw I was disappointed that they didn t have espresso so he went to Starbucks to get me one and didn t even charge me!!
Great food, the brisket grilled cheese
Airport food and price but the service was excellent!
Sat at the bar in an airport bar. No real atmosphere. Didnt expect that though.
One of the better food options at the airport, service was friendly and quick. We had the Montreal sandwich which wasnt smoked meat but was fine, and one of their chicken wraps which again wasnt too bad. In an airport filled with terrible options, Id visit here again
Portion looked a bit small but still fulfilling. The side dish salad with kale in it was pretty good.
Best airport food you can find....anywhere.
Food ok, decente hambuger, cobb salad a bit heavy on dressing and meat. Unfortunately very noisy, not a peaceful place. Next to bathrooms which is handy.
Did try the Smoked beef brisket sandwich, was good.
Had fish and chips and it was one of the best. Properly fried crisp and flavourful. Parking: Inside security Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible
Airport bar. $33 for 2 beer is a little excessive. Asking whats on special next time. Friendly bartender tho
Terrible service. Waited in line for 20 minutes to be seats, was seated at a table on the other side of the restaurant and waited another 30 minutes for a server to come to take my order. Worst service in Montreal.
Terrible service. I waited for 30 mins for my first drink which sat at the bar with the ice watering down my drink and another 30 for a drink that never came. The pulled pork sandwich came with very little coleslaw which had a huge chunk of the root of the cabbage which is inedible. I then ordered a beer after I finished my meal and it never came. When I finally approached my server (because she didn t come with the machine or my drink for 30 mins) with the bill that she gave me 45 mins prior, I told her I never got my beer and asked to take it off my bill. She never apologized but instead blamed the bartender and complained about her work load.
The food was good, service was quick. A great place to get a quick breakfast before an early morning flight.
The service is very fast; even though we arrived at the time of rush hour for dinner and there was a lineup at the entrance, it didn t take so much time to get seated. The staff do their best to serve everyone in a timely manner so they can get to their flight. We ordered Beef Brisket Platter and Cobb Salad . All platters are served with coleslaw, fries and pickles. The platter included 2 beed brisket pieces and was cold and very fatty. Fries was good, but the coleslaw and even the pickle had very weird taste. The coleslaw seemed like the same as grocery store Sweet Kale salad. Cobb Salad tasted good and was a bit rich and heavy.
Excellent place to eat and have a drink before boarding the plane .
Yummy food! Stopped here for lunch before my flight. The service was quick, and the food was delicious. The staff were also very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place if you have time to sit down and eat before your flight. Or, if not, for take out. I dont often like fries, but they were good! Parking: Located in the airport. Kid-friendliness: Lots of families there when I stopped in. Wheelchair accessibility: Located in the airport.
The food was super good and the service was great! The server was called Mehdi and he was very welcoming, helpful and kind. The atmosphere was calm for a Saturday evening.
Burger was overcooked and charred black. Server was fantastic and it is a nice place to eat!
The food was fantastic. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was very fresh and flavourful. The staff were super friendly and very efficient. It made my airport experience a whole lot better.
Had a family meal here while waiting for transfer flight. Staff very welcoming and took time to explain food options and local practice. Enjoyed food - fairly full and noisy but relaxed.
We were late but we were very well received by people who love their work
Food is so bad- I got a smoked brisket and it was pure gristle- what they did - nothing Highly NOT RECOMMENDED Food
Best restaurant and poutine in the Montreal airport.
Overpriced
Overpriced food, rude staff. Can t even sit and write in a journal in an unserviced area of their restaurant.
Beef brisket and pork were really tough and dry, must have been microwaved. Should have microwaved the cold fries while they were at it. Small portion for $35. If this is your number one dish...
Amazing service and food was tasty. Ask for the Italian connection for that next level service !!!!
Warning: no priority pass
Very good lunch at the Montreal airport
Good restaurant at the airport in the secure area. Good portion and very good burger. Its expensive but you expect it at the airport
To try While waiting for your flight!
Will offer you a coffee before giving you the menu. This cold cup of cheap coffee will run you $5. The servers do this on purpose. Also, the menu is expensive.
Great food and service, prices are reasonable.
Service was fast, fries and baguette were good. The smoked meat was tough
Nice quiet corner of the airport to relax before your flight. Good food and awesome service by Silvia
Ordered mac n cheese for kids my 3yrs old and they put chilli powder in there. Thats kid menu but not kid friendly. My pork n pickle is just alright, dried because sit out too long, probably take them 5mins to microwave n serve. Fries is good. Pick up weird vibes from the server. She gave us eyes n acting like we r stranger. At the end after i paid she asked loudly where i am from? Phillipino? And she said have a good day lah. Regret gave her tips.
Friendly place
Turkey Paprika Sandwich was great!
Service is fast, but the burger lacked flavor, especially for its price. It did come with a good amount of fried though.
Warm welcome. Great service that cares about your flight schedule
This restaurant was unfortunately quite underwhelming given the price. I would not recommend the ribs since they were very dry. The fries were crispy and service was nice though.
The staff here seem to keep getting worse. Its still decent food, but I was treated rather poorly by the server.
Thank you.
Food is ok at best my eggs came under cooked it said fried egg but yolk was runny. hash was covered in some type of ketchup or tomato sauce little bit odd wasn t very good. Waffles come burnt or frozen.
The brisket was quite nice and their IPA was good. Unfortunately the server was terrible. Among other things, she was very abrupt, I had to ask for mayo twice and my beer sat on the counter for 5-10 minutes before I finally asked another server to bring it over. That server made it quite clear that my own server was out of line. I had the feeling that I d done something wrong. French fries were excellent though.
Possibly two of the worst salads ever eaten, couldn t finish them. The Cobb Salad was completely inedible and had what looked like Kraft shredded cheese on it. Worst part is that they charged $22-$25 for the salads which is completely inappropriate for the poor quality we received.
I tried the poutine with smoked meat. The sauce was ok but nothing more and there wasnt enough cheese. Excellent margarita and average sangria. The poutine breakfast at Archibald at the airport is 100 times better in my opinion.
I was almosr expecting to see Gordon Ramsey jump out to say shut it down. There was nothing redeeming about the 1/2 BBQ chicken with slaw, French fries and a pickle. The BBQ chicken was a dried out, oven baked bird with a ladle of BBQ sauce poured on top. Not appetizing looking at all, but hang on to that sauce, youll need it to choke down the dry bird. The slaw had stems and other flotsam in it. The fries appeared to McCains coated super fries and were cold. And lastly, with pickle in the name of the place, yould think the pick would be fresh and crisp. I dont know where they found the mushy spear they put on my tray. This place surely is only around because there are precious few eateries after security. Do yourself a favor and grab some St Hubert before going through security.
Went here for breakfast at 9am, had the benny beef brisket; I enjoyed the food and the coffee was decent. Great service; I didn t get ignored, and the workers seem to be genuinely happy.
Some dishes are good. On the other hand, the salmon salad was drowned in oil.
Made the poor choice of eating here while waiting to catch a flight back to YVR. Brisket sandwich was terrible Pulled pork was edible at best . I know they have a captive audience, being at the airport but seriously 5 bucks for a soft drink Should ve listened to my inner voice
Do not support this business. As a single traveller, I sat alone near the kitchen. When something went wrong and it got extremely smokey, I watched two older men yell at a young kid working in the kitchen. I tried to mind my business as I just landed from Vienna in Austria and still need to travel across the country - however, after 5 minutes of watching these staff yell at this younger worker, after seeing them throw the kitchen tools around making loud noise, accusing the kid of lying and yelling whats wrong with you??? - I had to say something. After saying something, multiple staff approached me and thanked me for speaking up but did not say anything as it was happening - just watched. There was zero regard for me sitting there, and zero respect for the staff member. No one offered to help him, just screamed demands at him and demeaned him. This was extremely upsetting to witness. I left after one drink, and was still expected to tip! If the manager sees this, please contact me. It is November 4, 2023 at 4:47pm. Side note - the young staff member did amazing. He kept working the entire time. He took everything that the other staff members threw at him with extreme grace. Shame on the older staff.
Had a great beef brisket sandwich!
Yogurt parfait bowl said fresh daily fruit but my 2 strawberries looked like they had been drying out for weeks, while my blueberries were half frozen to bite into. Coffee was good though, thats it. They didnt ask how the food was because they clearly dont really care. You arent a person ordering a meal here- theyre treating customers like cattle to get through the line.
The server got my order wrong (ordered their COBB salad), he came out with a salmon salad. When I asked for what I ordered, he came back out in less than 2 mins with what he called a COB salad which was just a bed of arugulas, cold ugly looking pieces of chicken (this was supposed to be grilled chicken), and incredible amount of cheddar cheese and then a very burn dried out bacon. Worse service ever and a complete waste of $26.
Probably the worst meal I ate in Montreal, $5 for gun, Soda Water is highway robbery.
The food was actually completely disappointing. The service seemed fine. Not much to be expected from an airport though I ve had amazing food in airports before. Very expensive for such low quality eats.
One of the worst poutines of all time. The fries were drowning in the sauce and the sauce was probably the worst part. It was $70 for 2 poutines and 2 sodas. If you are looking for poutine this is not the place.
Carlos was the best bartender! Hands down best service! Will come here when I return to Montreal!
Carlos is the man! Straight up legend.
Marc Andre and Carlos welcomed and made me feel right at home couldnt ask for two better studs to serve us
I ordered a grilled cheese brisket, too expensive and soak in butter, not good at all. Also the amount of meat in the sandwich was extremely poor. Don t go there.
Dirty Mac and cheese was so good Very quick service and good Food
Visited while waiting for a connection. Got the burger and fries. It was brought out in under 2 minutes. Clearly microwaved. Tasted terrible. Service was attentive but obnoxiously asking for a tip. Gross altogether. Would advise trying a different restaurant.
