I went there with my husband to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. The presentation of the dishes is sublime. I had the tartare duo and it was simply delicious. What can we say about the Baileys crème brûlée . It was a special occasion for us. Thanks to our server for pointing this out beautifully.

I had lunch, dinner and dinner at this restaurant for a week, during training from September 9 to 13, 2024. The restaurant is clean and warm, the service was incredible (we even got the drawing book following a joke with the evening servers and it turned into a running gag with eu) and the dishes were all, really all excellent. Thank you to the entire Globe-trotter team for making us feel so welcome.

I spent 5 days at the Le Dauphin hotel and ate the majority of my 3 meals a day at the Globe-Trotter. The service is impeccable, with smiling people who pay attention to details. The food is also excellent, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu is diverse and in our group we were all amazed at the quality of all the dishes. Superb experience, we spent 1 week on a conference at this hotel, so all meals at the globe trotter restaurant.. Excellent food and what can I say about the service, the waiter/waitress morning, noon and evening they are exceptional. I highly recommend

Fairly classic dish menu (tartars, burgers, tapas, pasta, chicken supreme) but everything is well executed, well controlled. Tastes are there. Neat presentation. The restaurant is located in the hotel in Drummondville. Great discovery! Courteous and professional service.

I would like to mention Gisèles impeccable and attentive service. Our small group particularly appreciated his joie de vivre and his kindness. A real pearl!

Double salmon tartare was really good! , but the medallion of beef not edible, not cooked, no blood, if I would have wanted a beef tartare these would have been taken. and the vegetables that were on the plate at that price you give me half of the plate of poorly cooked cauliflower no, the staff was their tick on the other hand! But it was cold inside and the music was too loud, so unfortunately I do not recommend this restaurant because the price does not at all match the quality of the meals and the experience in general!

We went last spring on a weeknight. The restaurant was very unoccupied. The food is excellent, every bite was delicious. Both for dinner and lunch, we were delighted. I remember eating the beef cheek and it was so tender and flavorful. Of course, the prices are still high, but it is a high-end restaurant. I dont mind paying when the quality is there.

The service was extremely long and the reason was that they had 2 groups, This in no way explains this long wait. The onion soup was neither comforting nor hot and only 2 spoons of broth The plate of chicken voltigeur which should have been excellent, was unfortunately a bland chicken meal with an aftertaste of being marinated for too long ,the total for this meal The waiter did an excellent job, but the culinary result is not his responsibility. really, the kitchen team missed their mark, We even had a plastic thread in the homemade butter We leave our comment Well see what you do with it... 2/10

Beautiful place, good atmosphere, very efficient service, but a little long at times. Good variety of choices for food.

I had dinner there this evening and I found my burger very good and the friend who accompanied me also found her salmon tartare very good. The service is impeccable and courteous. In addition, we found the fantastic idea of offering wine at ½ price on Thursday evenings for their summer menu - we really appreciated it and we hope it doesnt end too quickly so we can enjoy it again before this winter!

This is my first time going there and I thought the meals at this price were better the taste of the onion soup was average have a price for the beef medallion just with fries its quite ordinary a medallion at that price $32 quite expensive a beef medallion goes with vegetables and salads not with fries etc... elsewhere at its prices there is more on the plate and the chicken voltigeur didnt taste much and the little sauce that comes with ordinary and the potatoes pilers didnt taste anything fabulous and not even salad at its prices you should raise the quality for my taste but the service was impeccable and the lunch very delicious

Very good restaurant, very good service, people are courteous and smiling, very good value for money, its worth going there. Delicious Chinese fondue menu on Sunday evening.

Completely renovated and reopened 3 days ago. The dishes are well cooked and well presented. The price of wine and dishes is fair and good. On the other hand, I hope that the service will improve. For example, our inexperienced waitress spills wine and does not offer to clean up the mess. I tried it myself. Despite this slight inconvenience I recommend the place.

Très ordinaire. Mes tartares n étaient pas assaisonnés du tout. J ai eu l impression de manger un sashimi de saumon avec des oignons verts. Même chose pour celui de bison qui etait coupé très grossièrement. La fervante de tartare en moi a été vraiment déçue. Ce n était pas servi avec des frites allumettes comme je préfère mais elles étaient quand meme très bonnes.

$16 + tax for 2 eggs bacon filter coffee not included at 3.50 + tax its way too expensive. We will return for the hotel but not for the restaurant unfortunately.

Its super good, but they dont have any menus for lunch... The prices are for the evening so its a bit expensive for lunch...

It was disappointing considering it is a 4 star hotel. The starters of the majority of my group lacked taste (mainly the tartars). Then I received my Bloody Ceasar and there was a worm in the celery. They didnt change my glass immediately. The waiter simply asked me if I wanted to live with it. You always had to ask him for water, because he forgot... In general the server seemed very inexperienced for our group of 10 people and the food was bland for a 4 star establishment.

First time at the Hotel le Dauphin in Drummondville. Excellent meal, very good service also. We had a small private room. With 2 young children it was greatly appreciated. There were 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Recommended.

Onion soup, risotto and chocolate fondant. Exquisite. The dishes are superb and excellent. What a nice surprise.

Poor service

Gluten-free meals clearly identified on the menu, dedicated fryer, team trained in relation to celiac disease! Just wow!! Delicious meal, even if the tartare could be a little more spicy :)

I love poké bowls but when there is water in my bowl and the chef says its normal, well NO its not normal! Its disgusting... No exchange and I had to pay for the entire dish because it wasnt their problem. Good service from the server though

Crêpes, chocolate fondant, sugar tart, tartare, burger, risotto.... What can I say, excellent! I have come to this restaurant twice now and I am very satisfied. The atmosphere is good. I particularly recommend Pablo which I had for my 2 times; very friendly, knows his products well. We will come back, thats for sure.

Great service. Wonderful ambience. Ate here four times during my stay in Drummondville.

Perfect family meal, very tasty, outstanding service, it was a pleasant surprise! And with the discount when you rent a room its almost a godsend for the quality of the dishes. Worthy of mention: poké bowl (delicious sauce! Finally vegetables!), excellent burger, meat spaghetti for the children (which the parents happily finished - really good!). Really better than the restaurant chains, it was worth a try.

On Sundays before noon there is a brunch at 11 a.m. and its really good. Its definitely more expensive at the McDonalds across the street, but its better and you can fill your stomach a lot more!

Add to this the smile of everyone on staff and you will enjoy your dinner. We had a very good césar salad and a wonderful pappardelle with braised beef and fresh arugula. I have eaten at this restaurant often over the years, but I am convinced there was a change in the kitchen and clearly it is paying off.

Its not easy to do this review. Just looking at the food, I have to say it was very good. I chose the classics, onion soup and then filet mignon. It was very good and I ate it all with gusto. The presentation of the main course was careful and cooked as requested. I must also say that the service was very good and that the recommendations for the choice of wine by the glass were extensive. Where it goes wrong is the rest. Clearly, this restaurant, through its menu, seeks to play in the big leagues... So a little panache is needed... The dining room is very dark and the atmosphere is cold, everyone being isolated in a sort of alcove made by the benches. The tables appear to be made of plywood stained mouse gray. The floor is covered with large ceramic tiles. The roof looks a bit renovated with minimum budget . The piping hot bread is served on a white napkin, with two of the ribs completely frayed, clearly having seen better days. And then there are the flies. That evening, I counted at least four different ones and of at least two species. The common flies could perhaps come from outside, but considering that it was September, there werent many anymore... The fruit flies must have come from the kitchens... The next morning I went back for breakfast. No fly but I didnt stay very long, I had to leave. The food was very decent for a hotel buffet style. In short, if the decor, the atmosphere (and the absence of flies) had followed the dish, I would have been happy to give it a good 4 stars.

Ahhhhh we always come back to it!!! My work (musician) takes me all over the world. I visited the big Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Hilton and co... eating chef food like (the so overrated) Wolfgang Puck etc... and you know what? Well, when I come back to my little native Quebec in the summer for my leave... well, its the Globe-Trotter which is my best bet (equal with the Entracte). The Globe-Trotter is an underrated restaurant in my opinion! A BIG table capable of competing with anyone. Yes, we have that at home and we dont talk about it enough! Nothing to envy of the greatest! Food that borders on perfection. The service which is SIMPLY PERFECT!! Be careful, this is not to be neglected! The mix of 5 star class with a touch of familiarity makes this place an unmissable go-to . Often on tour we find ourselves saying hihhh were not at the Dauphin here, are we? Obviously we can say its dark, not lit enough and such trivialities... but its a hotel restaurant!! I greet all the Globe-Trotter staff, our tour is ending (May 28) and well see you again soon! I hope you still have your Flambées evenings!

Wow! Lunch/dinner for Mothers Day was simply magical to watch but...also very, very good. Very good choice of dishes for dinner. The salmon was a pure delight whether cooked or smoked..What can we say about the desserts! Wow! A whole range of desserts. And for the Juices? Very surprised...a ton of kinds. This wasnt the first time at Globe Trotter but I hadnt tried the lunch/dinner before this. I really enjoyed this lunch with my family and we promised to go back together soon! I regularly dine at the restaurant of the Le Dauphin hotel as part of networking activities. The establishment is ideal for hosting a group. The table dhôte offers good value for money as well as a nice variety of dishes. Different every month. The service is very polite and relatively efficient. My colleagues, wine lovers, always seem to find a good bottle to taste. Faster payment processing when dining with my group and brighter lighting would add one star to my rating.
