It was pretty good but was there for over an hour and our salad and side still hadn t come so we had to pay and get it to go.

Our dinner order took an hour and they weren t that busy on a Tuesday night. My onion rings were terrible but the burger was decent. Overall not a great experience.

We didnt get our food after ONE HOUR. We had to leave for an appointment. Server said she could have the food to go but that would take 35 minutes. PATHETIC!!!!

We were out walking downtown Duncan on an evening layover and came across this gem. The food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing. Glad we walked in. Dietary restrictions: Easily modified the portobello sandwich into a salad ootion

We were up in Duncan for the day and decided to stop on here for dinner. It s a fantastic pub with a great menu and great prices. The place was PACKED but we had no problem finding a seat. They also all dogs on the deck (great in the summer for sure). Food was VERY reasonably priced (unlike pubs in Victoria) so we opted for an appt and two main courses. They also run drink specials every night! Such a great place that this will likely be our stop in when passing through Duncan.

A go to choice in Duncan! Lovely warm atmosphere with multiple levels of seating. Live music some evenings. Parking can be a bit tough.

Had a few drinks here while in Duncan and the atmosphere is inviting. The bartender Austin was great. Definitely seems to be the place in Duncan.

Rudest ever. Cold Poutine was somehow my problem and the manager didn t like me so serving cold food was OK and asking the customer to leave , just fine. It showed the ignorance of the owners as well who were informed and would consider making complaints harassment. How about uncooked food is poisonous and rude staff I d deadly in business. Were from Nanaimo but my buddy kept telling me about this place forever. Today we took a drive to check it out and Wow, it was everything hes said for years. Wont be passing through Duncan with out stopping in. Love this place!

The food is indeed amazing. My only complaint is that the portions are on the smaller side, especially for a pub style restaurant. I always get a burger and fries and both are amazing except that each time I get a childs handful of fries. So unless you spend the extra and get appies, and you get a burger or wrap or whatever and fries, you will probably still be hungry. So expect to pay a bit more to have some more food brought .

10/10 as always. Blackened Prime rib wrap is one of my favorite lunches. Food is always consistent which I find key.

Its a nice brewery if you wanna chill and have a lowkey hangout with friends & Family. Their beer testers were pretty strong. Must try. Vegetarian options: Should introduce more veggie options.

Our group waited forever to get drinks and after being there for almost 2hrs I has to take my NACHOS to go. I realize its not a restaurant but it was way too long to wait for food and drinks. Disappointing.

It was OK, nothing to rave about. Of course, being a brew pun their focus is on pushing beer. I guess thats why they took our drinks order and then took forever bringing dinner, while asking every 10 minutes if wed like another drink.

I do enjoy supporting this place. Though Ive been struggling to enjoy the food the last few times, which is a shame. Theres an issue with the menu/specials not representing the dish/ingredients correctly & you sometimes end up with an entirely different dish, one that you never would have ordered.

Went for dinner here this weekend and had an amazing time. Great atmosphere, awesome staff and amazing food.

Amazing place and amazing food. The tacos were a little bland but the burger and the French onion soup was delicious! Our waiter was awesome and had grand vibes..the place is just calm and lovely!

I had come in for lunch this past Saturday while I waited for a vendor to return to their booth over at the farmers market. I was greeted promptly and was told I could have a seat wherever I liked. My server came over dropped off menus and took my drink order. I wanted to try the special that day and it was a grilled cheese burger. My server took my order and in about ten minutes I had my burger, fries, and gravy. However after the server left the table I noticed my burger didnt look right. I had my fries and gravy while I waited for the server to come back to do the standard quality check. I had explained I ordered the special but got a grilled chicken burger instead. To be completely fair I could see how someone could miss hear something like that and my server admitted his mistake and offered to have the order remade for me. I politely declined because I didnt want to wait again and I hate seeing food be wasted. I ate the grilled chicken burger and it was fantastic, perfectly done and not dried out to a piece of jerky. After I was finished, my server came around and apologized again and asked how my meal was and I said it was excellent. Then he came back with my bill, before I could say anything he took 50% off the bill without me asking. To me THAT is what good customer service is about. Would I return again for another meal? You bet!

First time at this pub. Nice atmosphere and good and friendly service. The food was better than I expected (Craig Street Cheeseburger) and the wait staff was efficient and attentive. The only real issue was the price. Hamburgers on the low end will run you $18.50, Nachos $21 with no meat! Want beef or chicken with the taco chips, add $8 or more. So super expensive for pub food when a pub normally makes their profit on booze and usually attracts customers with inexpensive pub food. Not here. Super expensive pub food, so be forewarned. Due to the excessive pricing, this place will be reserved by most for the occasional special event or a place you maybe go to once a year, whereas if the food was reasonably priced it could very well be a place many would go to on a regular or even weekly basis. So in summary, a nice comfortable place, good food, and good staff, but unless youve got wheelbarrows full of money to burn, this is a place you may only go to once in a while, or perhaps not at all due to excessive pricing.

Great place to taste local beer as well as really nice food. Casual ambiance and friendly servers. Try the 20oz Toolkit, with a taste of all the house brews plus the week s special.

Drove down Islabd to check out this spot. Very cool layout and looked to be a popular spot. Service was amazing, I had the Craig Street burger. Well made and tasted great.

While the ambiance is great. I ordered food to go. Once I got home there were only 15 fries in the container and the beef burger was not cooked. Not happy! At $20 a burger and fries, it should be cooked and I expect more than 15 fries!

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they re doing and what they re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it s 100% worth it. When we think about celebrations, Craig Street Brew Pub is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, my Craig Street Nachos, Philly Cheese Steak, and my Blueberry Tea, might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10. This is my absolute favourite restaurant in Duncan. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can t wait to return and wouldn t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Duncan. This amazing cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! This restaurant is incredible. They have daily specials, on Wednesdays a burger and beer is $15. Our server Keaton was kind and helpful. They have lots of tables over multiple floors. The patio is dog friendly.

Ive been there a few times, great selection of beer and the food is always very good.

First of all, a big congratulations for the service which is simply exceptional! The waitresses are nice, friendly and very charming, perfect! The pub is magnificent, the decoration is great with a view of the beer vats, its very original. The beers are excellent and the food is also very good. A little wait for the dishes but nothing serious. Special mention for the desserts, a treat!

Excellent food, with a solid selection of craft beers, and a great overall vibe. The Nashville chicken sandwich is incredible. And messy. The fireplace gives the pub a hint of smoke - not noticeable enough to be intrusive, but just enough that you can catch a whiff every now and then. All of the art on the walls really gives the place a homey feel, while showcasing some exceptional local artists.

I was really impressed by my experience last night and how the staff handled a tricky situation with professionalism and empathy. The food was great as well and sitting beside the fireplace on a cold night is very cozy.

Ive been enjoying the Brew Pub for many years. Each and every visit has been positive and memorable.

My spouse and I were on a holiday on the island and stopped in Duncan. We googled to see if there were any dog friendly patio restaurants and this one came up. We called first and the friendly staff member confirmed that we could bring our dog onto the patio. We said that we were two minutes away and the person said that they would open the for us. Sure enough we arrived to smiling faces and the open gate to the outdoor covered pet friendly patio. It was clean and simple, what mattered most is that we could bring our dog. Inside was very nice too! Sophia was our server. She was super friendly, the service was excellent, the beer fresh and cold. We ordered the Nacho s and they truly were the best we ve ever had.

Best nachos I have tasted ever. More toppings and cheese than chips! Dont see that anywhere else. Drove from Victoria just for the nachos. Well worth the drive. Have never had a bad meal. Staff are great.

Great food and good beer

To put this in perspective I ve left two negative reviews out of dozens and dozens. I hate leaving them but I felt like if I can prevent someone from having a similar experience that would be great. The wait for food was so long it was insane. Half hour to get in which was fine, but then an hour and a half to get food after that. On a Tuesday night. We were warned after we were seated and had already waited a half hour that it would be 40 minutes for food but it was over double that time. No apologies were offered or even appies brought out earlier. We ordered appies so that possibly we could at least eat a little something but it all came out the same time. So we sat and waited for our food for a very long time. By the time it got there everyone was starving. The food was decent but it was nothing to write home about. And the staff and especially front hostess seemed to care less what was going on. We will never be going back which is so sad. It had such potential.

Had to wait over 2hours for our food. Staff was originally friendly but as the time dragged on longer and longer we did not see them, they didnt even explain or apologize or anything. Food was probably okay but after waiting that long it really didnt matter anymore and all we wanted to do was eat and leave. I understand problems do occur but over 2hrs is ridiculous and worse was the way they did not even acknowledge it in any way.

Ambience is casual and relaxed. Background music is set to a volume that allows for discussion without yelling, really nice. The service by Kiala was friendly and efficient. Plates were done in record time. I ordered the house club on multigrain bread with a side of onion rings. My husband had the beef dip. Portions were fair, the sandwiches were filled to the brim. The food was truly tasty!

Usually great, but today the guy on the bar took 10 min to come and get our drink order cause he was too busy wiping a glass. Where s the regular guy? He is prompt polite and such an asset. Now 20 min later we still dont have a drink! Maybe we will go somewhere else where we can get served!

Hey so, no kidding. I had the best hamburger here that Ive ever had outside of my own home. Not too much seasoning. Not too much going on on the hamburger itself. The meat really spoke for itself. Kitchen seems to know exactly whats going on. Tried one of their beers. Their Red ale. Amazing. Ive been trying to find it in stores ever since here in Victoria.
