bandos used to be my favourite food place with authentic and delicious stir frys, they switched ownership and the new owners and workers littlerally dont know how to cook, every time ive gone to eat there since owner ship changed its been a waste of money and the food gets thrown out because its THAT bad. Ontop of that they changed up the menu and took off the mexican stir fry which many was MANY Peoples favourite stir fry, if you think im just being salty, Ive been going to bandos since i was a little kid always ordering the mexican stirfry, the workers new me by name, the new workers and new ownership does not have that sense of service its so upsetting as i used to be a happy customer every time i left and now im leaving this nasty review

Their war won ton soup has become a staple of my diet - super healthy and tasty! Affordable too.

I just had fried rice at this restaurant and wasnt impressed. Not only was the portion very small with a premium price but there was absolutely no seasoning in the fried rice and was extremely bland and tasteless. The rice seem to be old as well.

This is one of those hole in the wall places you didn t know you needed to be at. I ve come here a couple times a month and it s spot on every time, I leave absolutely stuffed every time. Evidence below as I couldn t finish my meal! I encourage you to try it. They have bubble tea too!

We were craving for worwonton, just moved here, and broth was so full of flavor lots of veggies and prawns chicken pre grilled.. will be going back for soup and stirfry!

normally i don t leave reviews on places but i have to say baan dos has been terrible since it moved next door and the indian food place took over the bubble tea used to be amazing but today it was so watery (i got creamy) and the tapioca pearls were flavourless it was honestly the worst i ve ever had. disappointing but the food is alright.

I used to love Baan dos, ordered for the first time after the renovation and was HIGHLY disappointed. The girl taking my order very clearly did not know what she was doing and sure enough, messed up the order. On top of that there was about 2 lbs of rice, NO chicken and very little veg. That was my last order there.

Awesome food. Have been happily eating there regularly for years and have never been disappointed... except for their choice to discontinue biodegradable packaging in favor of plastic. The authenticity of those fold up cardboard box to plate just cant be beat for stir fry.

Baan Do serves fresh and delicious food with friendly and professional service- in a clean and casual environment. There s something for everyone here as they are very accommodating and well-priced. Also, the new house-made-from scratch sauces are on point! Manchurian, honey garlic and szechuan mmm. Our children loved watching the chef prepare our meal at the open kitchen- very cool! Thank you again!

I rarely eat here, but I picked up an order for a friend last night, the people working there were very friendly and polite. The only problem I had was that the door was a bit hard to open from my wheelchair. Inside, there is plenty of room for wheelchairs, Im not sure of the restrooms as I didnt need to use them. The two times I ordered from here, the food was really good. I would highly recommend this place. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is a bit too hard to open, but the inside has plenty of space for wheelchairs.

If you want a nice fast meal. Go here. I have been having bubble teas here for years. Always taste amazing, however. That s not my reason for writing a review today. A few days ago me and my mom went on and had a burger and she had some curry I think. It took around 7ish minutes to arrive! I gota say that s lightning fast. And then when I started eating the meal it was actually like the best burger I have ever had. The chefs were super nice and had a good atmosphere. 10/10

I had not been there since before Covid 19 restrictions and wasnt sure what to expect. Rachelle was the lovely hostess on and Abdul the Manager. I was delighted by great food with my favourite, the Sweet Singapore Shilli with Chicken. My partner had the special honey garlic combo with prawns and she loved it. Someone didnt pick up their order as we were leaving and Rachelle gave them to us for free as we left. Really couldnt believe that, most places just throw it out our take it themselves. I highly recommend the food and service.

Great food ,fresh ingredients and prepare right in front of your eyes. It was tasty and serving was great as well. The staffs were friendly, we enjoyed our experience. No wonder it was busy with online order, while we were there. Highly recomemded.

I had the peanut sauce chicken stir fry with noodles and it was very yummy. The peanut sauce had a really nice flavour! Healthy and comfort food all in one. Simple, nothing fancy, and delicious. Black Bean Chicken with fried rice was also top notch, just what we were looking for!

Worst bubble tea I ve ever had. They used a powder mixture for the flavouring, it wasn t even mixed in fully, there were a bunch of clumps floating on top. But the worst part was the tapioca pearls, they were all shrivelled and dried up like they d been sitting for a couple weeks, and were only slightly rehydrated after being put into the drink. Huge waste of money, I ended up dumping it out. Definitely won t be back.

Extremely dissappointed. Used to go to Baan Dos regularly but the service and the food have gone way down hill. Was there last month and found the serving size substantially reduced and very little chicken....benefit of the doubt, decided to give them another try...The girl that answered the phone for the order was terrible and shouldnt even be in the service industry and this time the rice was overcooked and clumpy. Sauce was not even sauce consistency. it was thick and pastey. One of our order didnt even have sauce on it. Not impressed and not prepared to go back there again. Lots of better restaurants in Duncan that i will frequent over this one.

The Thai sesame was incredible! Lots of veggies, spicy enough to make me sweat, and the food was made by smiling staff, which just makes it taste better

It was terrible! We got stir-fry with noodles. The noodles were mushy texture, the vegetables were burnt on one side and raw on the other. One had chicken that was dry and crumbling texture and the other had beef that had a terrible taste. So very disappointed. Waste of $30! We tossed them out. This place used to be so good.

Three people got they re order before us and we were the first ones to order and we were just getting drinks and they still got it wrong. The guy working on the stove was great though and trying to get the other guy going and not be slow, the one that was supposed to make our drinks forgot about them when he wasn t even doing anything, been waiting for 20 minutes so bad

Recently, switched owners and now owned by a sweet Nepalese family, Baan Dos is there to fulfill those chow mein dreams youve been craving for weeks. Give it a go. You wont be disappointed.

They forgot the sauce, burnt the spring rolls and burnt the onion cake. When I called to get my sauce and complain about the burnt food they hung up the phone!!! Such a shame that they switched owners, Never again it was disgusting

Yes the food is made fresh but that alone is not enough to redeem this mess. Wasted $40 and I am still hungry. Its going to be popcorn for dinner tonight.

Always great food and service, but today I stopped in at 10:50 and waited for them to open at 11 as per their hours advertised on Google. Well fast forward twenty minutes and the open sign still doesnt come on. I go to pull the door only to get confused looks from what I presume were the owners as they were eating at the front of the dining area. No hours were posted at the door. No signage indicating anything that they were closed or had changed their hours for the holiday weekend. I guess Ill spend my money elsewhere next time just like Im doing now.

Their stir-frys are sooooo delicious! Sometimes we make a special trip up from Victoria just for the food here. My favorite is the vegetarian Singapore stir-fry extra spicy with spicy peanut sauce! I highly recommend trying all their options.

The owners of this place are food demi gods. My wife and I plan a stop here any time were driving by. Fast, delicious, and cooked with seasonal veggies Baan Dos is a must stop. Simple food cooked perfectly, we always get a shwooki of peanut sauce on top. Jumbo size that meal and you can have it cold. Nearly as good cold as it is hot. If I didnt have kids we would probably be here a lot more often. Go to Baan Dos. Its excellent.

Every dish we have had is freshly made as per your order. Service is quick staff friendly and the food is great. Not a huge menu but have never had a meal we werent really happy with . Give it a try you will be glad you did

Great food. Lots of staff cooking in back which you can watch while waiting. Check hours online before going, I always seem to go there when they are closed. Busy place but lots of people getting take out so usually lots of room to sit.

What I like about the restaurant is if you are vegan they are willing to not serve you fried rice (which has egg) or any meat products. Very patient and attentive to your needs including your spice level.

Food is really good. Ive only visited here a couple times. It seems like a very popular place. I think it is a bit overpriced for whats offered, but certainly a great alternative to regular fast food if you dont mind paying more. Would be 5 stars but for the price.

We just ate there today with my husband. The prawns and rice were good, the pasta smelled rather stange, beef was alright. Now about the big turn-off. Well all our veggies (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower ) was hard as rock and raw. I expected them to be way softer at least. It was a hard task to chew it. I almost broke my teeth. And they called it stir fry...I felt like they just cut those veggies and threw it in the dish like for dogs.. I wish I would say it to the staff that it was disappointing experience. Also it was overpriced. I dont think we will ever go back.

Great stirfrys although there was quite a bit of rice and little veggies. Would have liked to have more of a healthy meal. Large portions and great seating. Staff are helpful.
