Food was what youd expect from Canadian-style Chinese food. I wish they would add some MSG and other spices, because it was very bland.

The first time I had noodles with garlic sauce but last time I tried the fried rice. It was a mistake to put on the sweet & sour sauce plus the packet hot sauce & I got a few too many broccoli pieces. There are a few choices and the price for a small combo is around $14.

Every time I go in, the price has been raised almost a whole dollar per item. For example, in 2021 the price of a large combo was 12$ plus change. Fast forward to 2023, and it is almost a full 18$ for the same combo. It used to be a go to place, but now I wouldnt touch it with a 100ft pole.

Its good its cheap, with massive portions, you get what you pay for, their the mc Donalds of Chinese food in our area, you walk in with 15 bucks and walk out with enough food for 2 hungry people. Dont expect the quality of a high end restraunt here but thats not what your going for any ways.

I make better food then anything I got from here. Lemon chicken like rubber. Chow Mein with watery noodles. Egg rolls with egg and pineapple. No flavour anywhere.

New in town and sadly didn t read the reviews. We popped in to grab dinner for the family. Should have turned around and walked out. Grabbed a selection of things. Wasn t too impressed by the look of the food but was hopeful. As we walked out I looked in the kitchen. It was pretty grimey. Immediately started second guessing. We got home and started plating the food. The chicken balls were made with old chicken. You can tell it s been cooked twice. They just battered it and fried it again. The sweet & sour sauce was water with a hint of red food colouring. The chicken chop suey had grey chicken in it. We ended up dumping the entire order in the garbage. There was no way we were eating it. This place needs a health inspection.

Chow main was dry and blah tasting and the battered chicken had more batter than chicken so wont be ordering those again but the dry garlic , honey garlic and sweat and sour ribs were good as well as the black bean dish

Good sized portions. Helpful service. Standard Canadian style Chinese food. Food can be fresh depending on when you come. Just after opening guarantees freshness. Not spicy but you can add hot sauce to taste.

So disappointing. The meat was dried out, S&S sauce taste like pink sugar water, honey garlic sauce was watery with a hint of garlic. Noodles were stuck together and all of the items were barely warm. First and last time for us.

The food is delicious, very western. Large portions. Not the best quality.. but good luck finding much better in Duncan. Will definitely return . Honey garlic sauce is amazing. Sweet and sour is amazing.

Went there after voting, Dam so glad I did it was great portions, great value and for me atleast great taste.

The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Veggies cut too large, a bit on the soggy side, flavour overall mediocre. But obviously this is not a 5 star place so we werent disappointed at all. The store reeked of bleach hovering over food smell. On a Saturday night 7 pm it was empty and loomed ready to close. There was no rice left. What ?!!! It will do the trick when youre hungry and quickly want some food and I believe this is all this place intends to be. Portions arent skimpy but then again neither are the prices. I think we paid 17 each for chicken and noodles

Everyones favorite shopping mall food court -style chinese cuisine - specifically for those who enjoy their honey garlic pork that feels as though its been under a heat lamp for a few hours too long. Seriously though, the texture was similar to hard candy. I had two bites and asked for a refund, which they kindly provided. Ive had a couple of other items on the menu but the flavors here are dull and forgettable. Willing to try it again sometime and give them another chance to change my mind, but as it stands, one star is the best I can offer.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My boyfriend and I were going to get Chinese from Save On and decided to try May s. The food is the worst Chinese (if you can even call it that) I ve ever had.. Not to mention, the girls customer service was awful. They re incredibly rude. Will definitely not be returning and will let friends and family know to avoid this place at all costs.

Amazing value. I had a hankering for some American Chinese style food, and tried this for the first time. Very pleased. Large portions of exactly what I was looking for. Ill be back for sure. Update: I have been back, many times. Always great taste, with efficient and friendly service. The place has been busy every time I go, supper hours, so I am not the only one who likes it. I have only had their combo meal items so cant comment on their made to order single items.

The portion sizes were good and the staff was friendly. But the quality of food was less then what we usually get for Chinese food. The sweet and sour pork had about twice the sauce that was needed and the almond chicken was over crispy. The broccoli and beef had hardly any beef in it as well. We came there for my daughters birthday dinner and were disappointed.

A staple in Duncan. Easy to get to, feed your whole family for cheap and have enough leftover for breakfast !

Really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant! The food was much better than I expected, and the portion sizes were very big! Service was very quick, and although there was a line-up they got through it quickly. I think before I went here for the first time I didnt hear the best things about it, but I dont know what those people were talking about! This restaurant is great, I definitely recommend it if youre looking for great Chinese food!

I hadnt eaten here since high school and we were in a rush to find dinner in the area so we stopped in. I cant overstate how friendly the employees were: they were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was just as good as the smorgasbords around.

My son went got us 3 large and ask the guy for sauce on meat and noodles there no sauce and it less then half portion of what normally get he tried ask and the guy went to next person didn t answer him

The food was terrible. Everything tasted weird. Worst Chinese food Ive ever had Chop suey tasted sweet, thick mushy chow mein noodles, dry sweet and sour pork (we found some sauce at the bottom of the box after eating), breaded almond chicken was tiny dried out pieces that hurt my mouth. We paid over $50 and only had 1/2 a plate each and threw the rest out. Never again.

Amazing Chinese food. I always try to stop by when I am in the area. The price is also super reasonable for the portion sizes. Their veggie tempura is my favourite, especially the mushrooms, which I dont see in tempura many places.

This place used to be amazing when it was in Lake Cowichan. Its no where near how good it used to be. The food is blan and mostly overcooked. I had a combo plate today and the noodles were all bunched together and undercooked. But the rest of the noodles were overcooked. Obviously to much cooked in a small pot without being stirred.... Go back to the original recipes May actually used... That was amazing food...

Cheap and yummy

A crazy amount of food served but bland and left us feeling ill. Meat was chewy, noodles overcooked and mushy. Definatly not authentic Asian cuisine.

Too much mock chicken loaf. No vegetables. Very cheap quality and quite expensive unlike other people are saying. The chicken curry was 95 % potatoes for some reason. Like the taco bell of chinese food.
