271 Trans-Canada Hwy, Duncan, BC V9L 3R1, Canada
Diner established in 1950 serving hearty, home-cooked all-day breakfasts, roasts, ribs & more.
Amazing server and delicious food! Used to frequent this location as a child, always loved the hot dog and clubhouse. Visited again after over 10 years and it’s still amazing food! Clubhouse was huge and delicious. Our server was great! Atmosphere only got 3 stars cause a few of the other waitresses/front end staff didn’t give off a friendly attitude- more of a .. I don’t want to be here please hurry and leave attitude.
This place was unknown to me until a few months ago. Since finding out about it and trying out their establishment, I am hook line and sinker about it. It is by far the best restaurant around. Well, worth the half-hour drive. Heck, I would drive an hour. Lol. Yes, it's really that good people, don't take my word for. Seriously, try it out.
Ended up here for breakfast and what a good decision. I thought I’d eat lite and have fruit and a scone. Best fruit salad ever and super fresh. Hugest scone ever so half came home. Hubby had bacon , eggs and toast and was pleased. Staff work like synchronized swimmers. Very efficient. Price point is quite fair given the serving amount.
Family oriented restaurant. Decent burgers, though pricey at $23. Refillable coffee. Accepts credit cards. Wheelchair friendly. Automatic power entrance and washroom doors. Free plaza parking. Long queue during meal hours.
Menu variety was decent. Cool theme. Unfortunately, our entire group agreed the food was so-so at best. I found a piece of bamboo in my burger. Thankfully they comped the meal. Will not return.
Amazing food. Great friendly service. Prices are very reasonable. Very busy place, but wait times are reasonable and worth the wait.
Well maintained cafe, est. 1954. Delicious poutine and bruschetta chicken breast sandwich. Servers were also very friendly and attentive.
Dog House Family Restaurant - Duncan, BC ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited Dog House Family Restaurant in Duncan, BC, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating a perfect setting for a family meal. The food was incredible, with each dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. The menu had a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in the quality of their offerings. The service was equally impressive. Our waiter Colton was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We even had a chance to practice Spanish speaking for a few minutes. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, Dog House Family Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re looking for delicious food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Five stars all the way!
It been around for 70 years. There is a reason why because it was great.
Very good home cooked meals we have there once a month. Great service. Parking: Great parking Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Ordered a hot turkey sandwich that came with literally 2 tbsp of gravy on it, didnt begin to cover the dry toast even. When I asked for more gravy I was told by the waitress that I would have to pay extra.....you lost not only a tip but ALL my future business with that attitude. Only 2 weeks ago I had beef barley soup that I couldnt even eat, the waitress said other customers had complained it had a strange taste as well but never apologised or offered to bring me anything else (we spent $80 there between the 3 of us for lunch).
It became completely busy full of a tour bus and already busy and the service and the food didnt slow down one bit. Great restaurant
Our server Miranda was very friendly and checked in with us the right amount of times. The restaurant was very busy and the food was pretty quick. The portions were large and fresh. We thought it was a good value
This place serves generous portions of home cooked food. No frills, just simple wholesome food at a reasonable price
First, the reviews mentioning poor service, food, and cleanliness are not consistent with my experiences. In fact Ive found the staff to be super friendly, the place was clean, and the food and prices were both above average. Ive had breakfast three times over the past month and Ive got no complaints at all. Great corned beef hash and bacon/eggs -- well cooked and great servers. Parking: Lots of parking in the shopping mall parking lot. And easily accessible back onto the highway.
Great service and meals every time
Food is always good at the dog house in duncan
I stop here every time I am in Duncan! Its such a charming little diner, and OMG the pies are amazing!!! Super big slices haha. Parking: Good parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Its a family restaurant, its fine for kids!
We go here regularly for brunch, the food is usually great, but the service is hit or miss, most recently the server was inattentive and wasnt familiar with the menu/specials so the experience was mid. I recommend takeout if you have the option.
A very busy restaurant. Efficient service. Coffee pot left at your table. Food came quickly. Lots of menu choices. When you arrive you see the display of pies and other baking. During meals time, chances are youll have to wait in a line to get in. This is a popular place with good basic food. Generous portions. Noisey place just because of the hum of many people. Booths as well as tables. Lots of parking. Dietary restrictions: Waitress was knowledgeable about the gluten free choices. GF bun for burger was good. No dedicated wheat-free fryer. Parking: Located beside the mall and a gasoline service station. Large busy mall parking. No shaded parking. Right off the main highway in Duncan, easy to find and pull into. Kid-friendliness: Its a large noisey restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: One level restaurant with tables you could bring a wheelchair to.
Always stop there when we go threw !! Never disappointed!!
Always great food and service
Great service. Huge menu
We had a great meal, something for everyone! It always surprises me that there is still Miracle whip and whipped topping on the menu, in some ways they havent moved into this century, but maybe that is what attracts their general clientele.
Lots of different options. Food was excellent.
Horrible place to eat. Regret giving any money to this cheap dump. Dishes were dirty, every single dish even down to the cutlery. All the staff have horrible attitudes and brush you off. Talked to a manager they were even worse. Worst customer service experience ever. Food was bland and expensive for what it was, cheap ingredients and vegetables were all brown. Saw rats out by the garbages on the way out. It truly is a dirty stinking old dog house of a restaurant.
I noticed the old women there are nasty to each other and to some customers. When serving me they had no emotion did not smile once! The food was mediocre at best. The floor was covered in food. I noticed they dont use a real vacuum cleaner.. there was food all over the walls. Staff didnt wash hands after handling money, food and garbage. Youd think that a place who serves the elderly and kids would be more on top of cleanliness..
Best Desserts!! Worth the drive!! Loved the soup I had today, Ukrainian hamburger soup. Yummy!!
The food was bland and overpriced....very poor experience
Have enjoyed trips to the doghouse for many years, if you like diner atmosphere and dinner food this is the place. Make sure to save room for desert. They are famous and fabulous!
Good fast service. Clubhouse like NO other!
Fantastic service and amazing quality and quantity for the price.
I am totally and most completely impressed with the Thanksgiving dinner that The Dog house prepared. The meal was absolutely delicious. Everything was portioned nicely, and they were not cheap on gravy. I cant wait to come back again to see how good a lot of the other meals are on the menu. I would definitely recommend this for anybody wanting some great quality food. The desserts are all made in-house and are absolutely amazing they have their own Baker, and the only desserts that are brought in from another location are gluten-free options that they offer. Kayla gave us a beyond expected service. Shortly after our meals were brought to us she checked in to find out if there was anything else that we needed. She was absolutely correct we needed some dipping sauce for the chicken, and water. Great job people, The Dog house is a smashing success for us.
A Hidden Gem with a Family Touch! This family-owned diner is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, youre greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The service is top-notch attentive without being overbearing and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The food? Fantastic! Everything tastes homemade with love, from the fluffy pancakes to the perfectly seasoned burgers. Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Dont miss out on their daily specials and desserts the pie was the best I ve had in ages! If you re looking for a place with heart, soul, and delicious food, this is it. I ll definitely be coming back for more!
Decent food, better desert, over priced.
Atmosphere is not what you go to the dog house for. You go for the food and the service. Food was delivered hot, However, after another server served us our food, there was zero comeback. Not do you need hot water, refill on your pop? NOTHING
Restaurant was clean and the service was great. We were just really let down with the quality of food and the price we ended up paying. Based on the food quality and price we would not recommend or return.
Breakfast was amazing I will be eating here every time I come visit Duncan the service was also fantastic
Good food. Friendly staff. The pie looked good also. Took 50 minutes to get a hamburger and a few chicken strips though - and they werent busy.
Treats employees terribly
The host that sat us was a little abrupt and stand offish, but our server was amazing. Courteous, funny, and attentive! The food was delicious. I had the Bruchetta chicken sandwich, and it was to die for! I really wasnt sure how well the avocado would go with it, but it was so yummy! Which is kinda crazy because Im not a big fan of avocado to begin with. The bill came to just over $90 for a family of four with only water to drink and no dessert, so it was a little pricey for my taste. However, all in all, 5 out of 5 due to amazing food and good service!
Vegetarian options: Did not have a good vegetarian selection Kid-friendliness: Was kid friendly Food : 4/5 |
Classic diner style restaurant with a large menu. Youre getting exactly what you expect.
Omg. Bring your appetite because this place has such good value. I had home made soup and chicken pot pie.
Great breakfast !
Love the Dog House Restaurant in Duncan. Havent been there in awhile, stopped in this morning, ordered a side of hash browns with onions and some sausages. I have never been upcharged for onions in hash browns before and was astonished to find a charge of $2.19, which the server did not mention, added to the bill. Now $2.19 is not going to break the bank, obviously, but it irks me that there was an upcharge at all and that it was not mentioned. Just wanted to say that.
The food was great. We had great service and our kids enjoyed their dinner. My son is on the spectrum and there is food he can eat because he is slightly picky. Kid-friendliness: They are always welcoming to kids.
Doing gods work
Good food, friendly service, good prices. The best Yorkshire pudding Ive ever had at a restaurant, it rivals my grandmothers recipe. Highly recommended coming on a Friday for the prime rib.
Really yummy breakfast I had a veggie omlette and toast. Coffee was pretty decent too. Giovanna is amazing, server extraordinaire!
Standard breakfast/dinner diner. Good food, friendly vibes. Would easily recommend.
Should have just got some pie, it looks great.
Its a great family restaurant, always stop here when I pass through Duncan.
Great food and friendly service. Huge menu selection and desserts look amazing!
Service at my favorite restaurant is going downhill. I just went in at 4 pm, not busy, was seated, given a menu, no water and I sat there watching waitresses stand around gossiping for almost 8 minutes and I left. No one acknowledged me or asked if I wanted water. My menu was closed because I knew what I wanted to order but no one asked me. This is the third time I ve had issues with the Dog Hotse, it s too bad they can t serve people promptly especially when not busy Turns out the soup I wanted was sold out
Hard to get a seat at times. Good service and good food
Was there this morning with my cousins who invited me . We all didnt enjoy their breakfast hash browns wasnt cook properly The hash brown was burnt as well and the bacon was burnt Food
Fast and friendly experience from a casual family restaurant. Met all expectations.
Great food, good service, friendly atmosphere, affordable
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I wasnt crazy over the fish and chips and its all about the tarter I dont think it was homemade. I will definitely come back but will try something else on the menu.
I had the 2 egg breakfast. Over easy, sour dough toast, hash browns, bacon, and green tea. The bacon was almost too crispy, but over all, it was a good meal.
Yeesh. The fwood is extremely Meh. We ordered the Salisbury steak because my wife was being nostalgic of the pantry and I got thr liver and bacon... Straight from the butcher they say. Both meals were extremely below average. The liver I guess tasted like liver but it was dry. Salisbury steak was just average ground beef. They had the same gravy which was also the same gravy as the mashed potatoes. Speaking of mashed potatoes I ordered garlic mashed potatoes but thr waitress, who was a newbie, said that IS the garlic roasted... But last time I checked mashed potatoes werent roasted. Speaking of which the mashed potatoes defintely tasted out of a box as they looked like a ball of playdoh and the consistency of one too. The vegetables were carrots and some sort of yellow beet and a roasted squash. No greens. The kids got a kraft dinner... I thought it maybe meant it was just a name for mac and cheese.. But nope... It was exactly mac and cheese And oh the kids got a milkshake too... Cotton candy. Had a weird fake sugary aftertaste... All this cost like 75 bucks. I suck at making white food but I could make much better. Yeesh. The only thing that saves them is the waitresses were nice.
Breakfast was good and the service was excellent. The next time in tried the Clubhouse, very good and quite generous with the fries.
Not ideal
A great family restaurant, clean, decorated with all kinds of fascinating items. The food was delicious and our server Virginia was exceptional. They have a good variety of gluten free options. Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options and our server was very aware of what was gluten free Wheelchair accessibility: Flat access and lots of room to get around
Food is amazing will come.e back
Damn good food and amazing staff! Kid-friendliness: Family Restaurant Food : 4/5 |
If you like old fashioned, stick to your ribs type of meals without skimping on the portions.......youll love the Dog House!
The best Reuben sandwich I ever had!! The buttery and rosted rye bread was to die for!
Great food great service.
Was very busy when we came in. It was very fast and good food, the only thing is that I said I was Dairy free and my sandwich came with cheese on it. The waitress fixed it and returned the meal very swiftly. Overall good meal for Fathers Day
Dont bother
I was travelling for business and stumbled upon this restaurant I noticed a bunch of police cars outside and figured it must be good if they eat here. The food was delicious but I could tell the staff dont enjoy working there by their interactions with each other. Food
I ordered the Cobb Salad and it was the worst one I have ever had. Appearance was unappetizing and taste was not much better. Waitress messed up the banana cream pie for dessert and mentioned that and walked away. I would expect it would normally be replaced by a fresh piece. We normally go to the Dog House when we are in the area but will not go there again. My husbands meal was mediocre also. We likely would have complained but we were treating our granddaughter to a meal and decided to post on line instead.
Chef salad with cajan chicken was very tasty. Mom loved having a Thanksgiving dinner in the summer {turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry, vegs etc.)
Always a great experience!! Thx everyone
Great food! Great staff!
Great family style diner restaurant. Large restaurant with lots of seating. Young and friendly servers. Food is homey and delicious. I had the turkey dinner which was scrumptious! I got the lighter serving which was still plenty of food. My husband got wings which were delicious. We shared a slice of their famous cheesecake and it is a must try. So light and creamy! Im really glad we found this place while visiting the Duncan area.
Ive driven past this place hundreds of times, and decided to stop today. Im glad I did. I had a Cajun chicken sandwich that was very good. The fries were awesome, theyre the coated type, and super crispy. The servers, were friendly, great service overall.
Ive been coming here for years, but this place is just getting too expensive for what its worth, with hit-or-miss service and aggressively fine food. You just can get a lot more for your money elsewhere in Duncan.
My favorite restaurant in Duncan! We drive from Nanaimo just to eat here
Had the fish tacos. Wasn t what I expected.Abundance of coleslaw in tacos!!I had to pull it out Shredded cheese 4-5 pieces. The lady in the front said I could pick my toppings so that was my bad. Retro style. Great service.
Great home cooking meals. Good location , great price and huge portions. Virginia the one waitress is amazing. She is friendly and more than happy to answer questions with menu or to recommend items. The desert selection is awesome. Lots of homemade pies.
Dog house... more like overpriced dog food
If you are looking for a diner with no frills just good portions and good staff this is the place. Its no 5 star Michelin experience but it hits and spot. Homestyle food even down to their desserts. A great local gem.
Was seated 15 minutes at back with a view of my parked motorcycle outside. 3 people at next table & was told section was closed 10 minutes ago. Said nada to other table. Place not crowded at all. Told to sit at a counter on a stool. lol. I walked out. Been going there 25 years. If you re too lazy to bring a plate of food & a coke you need a new job. Was $32 ( including $5 tip last time for eggs benny ). 1 egg benny & a coffee was $20. Btw this place audits reviews, so this one probably won t be seen.
A great place to go! Good food and not as expensive to eat here as many other restaurants.
Kid-friendliness: They have baby chairs Food
Good food, great atmosphere, family friendly, speedy service. Great staff and cool nicknaks inside. Parking: Shared parking lot with Savon Foods plenty of parking for lots of vehicles great location off the side of the trans-canada highway Kid-friendliness: Really great atmosphere employees are kind with children Wheelchair accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible bathrooms
Excellent service. Excellent food. We need one of this restaurants in Victoria. It has family ambience and the personnel are amazingly cordial and always willing to help you.
This place is a must, rich with history and large portions of fantastic food with informative servers
Our server Jenny was an absolute delight. We loved the entire experience. The portions of food are large and delicious. Its a cute diner style restaurant. We would love yo come back one day Kid-friendliness: We saw staff being so lovely to children dining with them
Great food as always, service was really good. Always happy when I leave
Quaint diner. Facility was clean and neat. Servers were very polite and friendly. Food was delicious and served hot. Prices were reasonable and fair. Easy access from highway. Washrooms were clean and sanitary. Would recommend for all meals.
I ordered a meal there was a curly black hair in my poutine. When I called about the issue they said it wasn t there issue to deal with that it was DoorDash issue but when I said DoorDash didn t cook it he kept saying call DoorDash.
Food was good but 25.00 for a lettuce wrap is outrageous.
Very consistent service and food quality. Professional servers provide you with a quality experience that matches the quality of the food. A staple in the Cowichan Valley. Just off of the highway its a great place for travelers.
Amazing. Great spot. Go for the poutine.
Good food . Great Staff!
Family friendly dinner, had a nice breakfast. Service was quick and the staff were so nice
It was good
Always a great meal
First time out of towners here and we enjoyed our visit. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. It was a packed dog house. We ordered the prime rib special.
Always a good time!
Food wasnt up to normal level, staff were excellent, but the price is way too high. Over $120 for 4 people.
Been there twice now and man such good food, wholesome, fast, delicious, will definitely be going back for more
If you havent been .....you owe it to your self !
AMAZING.... This is my new favorite place!
Used too be really good eaten here my whole life but recently when I bought a burger here I was so disappointed too bite into a cheap frozen burger patty with no flavour and yue breakfast I ordered from here recently had tater tots instead of hash browns this place has lost its soul
Not bad for a company breakfast
Always great food & service as usual
Hey... Duncan is Town, and this is our Restaurant. We have lots of great places to eat, yet thus is a mainstay for just great home cooked style meals.
Its alright.
We had a great meal last night. We were seated immediately, the server was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely return.
Love this place. Good food and great energy here. I especially love servers Giovanna and Alison who are always a pleasure to be around and chat with. They make coming here a real pleasure.
Best food ever
As a Victoria resident I always pop into the doghouse anytime I m travelling from Victoria to Nanaimo. I have eaten here probably 50 times and have never had a bad meal.... The pies are the best!
Great food.
Amazing portions, great friendly service and good food.
Good food. Fast friendly service.
Stopped in for a bite at lunchtime (1130) on a Saturday and it was full. Waited about 10 min for a table for 3, so not bad. Waitress was polite and attentive, all while dealing with the other tables in her section, kudos. Large menu of meals that can be prepared fairly quick. Kids menu with a decent selection but smaller portions. I tried the brisket sandwich which was tasty but heavy (almost too rich) with a decent amount of fries on the side, presentation was lacking but I guess it is a diner. I was full after eating so that was good. That said, other proportions of different meals seemed to be bigger for the guests sitting around me. The meal took about an hour for us to complete, mostly due to a slow pre teen eater, from sitting down to paying the check. Drink orders was taken quickly and delivered fast. Meal order was about 10 min later, understandable with how busy it was. The food arrived within 15-18 minutes of ordering. The dessert selection was impressive and I would recommend trying something from there as it is homemade products. All in all, I would return for a try again of something different should I happen to pass through Duncan again.
Great family environment. Food is always good. Great dessert options. The prices seem to have gone up but mostly still affordable.
Very busy food are good n perfect ,good sausages, tasty pancake
We recently drove from Victoria to this restaurant, simply because you know its going to be excellent. It was my wifes birthday, so we brought our 2 adult children along, who had never been. The excellent service begins before the entry door closes behind you. Greeted and taken to your table in short order, even at very busy times. The hardest part of coming to the Doghouse, is deciding what you want. Literally every single dish on the menu is great! Our children needed extra time to decide. Portions are always very plentiful. Forget about the possibility of walking out hungry. I suggest you plan to tip well, especially if Sophie is your server! This young lady is outstanding in her job- you probably wont find better, I never have and Im over 60, so Ive eaten in a few restaurants.
Great place to drop in for a diner style meal. The server was wonderful! Food was good. Large portions and nice and fresh. Food
Good family place and seniors. Standard fare. Not much for vegetarian/vegan.
The place was packed with happy, hungry people. The menue is huge. The food is delicious, and it offers a wide range of selections for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. I had the foot long hot dog with everything on it, and it was outstanding.
This was our second time here, I had the Sunday Brunch special, Prime Rib with Poached eggs and Demi glace.. it did not disappoint! Fabulous diner atmosphere, full ofocal folks so you know they e been doing it right for many years!
The food was great and the staff were lovely they sang happy birthday to my son and he got a free chocolate brownie with a candle. Our waitress was Nichole and she was exceptional.
Ordered pancakes with strawberries. Pancakes were only partially cooked and they were literally swimming in strawberry juice and dethawed strawberries. The whole meal was a trainwreck.
Truly terrible service. The server came up and told us she was about to go on a ten minute smoke break. Our food was then 20 minutes late as she forgot to put in our orders. She also messed up the orders when we got them.
Nice little diner to stop off at if youre going down or up the island. If you can swing it Id recommend trying to get the early bird special. Food is decent. I think it could be improved especially around their eggs which usually are pretty overcooked but the employees are incredibly friendly and its easy to get in and out in less than half an hour if youre in a rush.
Wow. Absolutely blown away with my experience here. The Dog House is the perfect iteration of a diner and quite possibly the best restaurant I have eaten on Vancouver Island after 7 years living here. The portions are generous and the food quality is above average. Will definitely be back.
A bit of a time machine! Im sure the interior hasnt changed much since opening. Nostalgic old time atmosphere, right down to the servers. Large portions of food. We didnt have a dessert but they look amazing. A meal in themselves. If you like coleslaw, it can be ordered as a side alternative to fries and was enjoyable. We will come back to try some more items.
Dog house Boston Clam chowder Huge club sammiches Parking: Park yo car
A clean, friendly and outstanding food. Server recommended the Chuck Wagon Breakfast....again outstanding...I will return!! Also..Best server ever! Thanks Hayley!
Love food was huge had take rest home loved it ;)
Great food, and wonderful services.
Average food and service. Is hit and miss.
The food was very tasty, the staff was very attentive
Went there Easter Monday . The food was incredible!! Real ,homemade !!!!! Huge HUGE portions ... Sad thing , no room for dessert BUT dont worry , we bought a piece of strawberry / rhubarb pie to take home and eat later . Amazing
Daughter and I stopped by on our way home. I was impressed, we were shown a nice table and were quickly advised as to the meals. Swift and efficient, Marina took our order and it was a beautiful meal. So tasty. Ill definitely go again . Thank you Food : 5/5 |
This restaurant is incredible service was outstanding I havent had a great restaurant experience for years until I went here. Andrea was exceptional and the beef dip is incredible.
Great service great staff
I absolutely love The Dog House! This is a guaranteed stop for my wife and I if we are traveling through Duncan. We love it so much we will also drive the two hours for no reason other than to eat there. The service is always top notch. The menu is pretty big, so anyone should not have a problem finding something they would enjoy. I highly recommend this place!
Kind of a diner, kind of a restaurant. All your small town faves, competent service. Nothing special, nothing terrible.
Wonderful staff.
Cant wait to go back.
Really great family restaurant. Really nice portions, simple and to the point..
Best food anywhere!
Great food, great portions, super nice staff even when dealing with a cranky rugby u14.
Ordered tap water, but the server put tea on my bill. They can t refund the money to my card, gave cash. Double check your bill before swiping your card. Average food.
Great place, great service and food was excellent and good price
Still one of the best places to eat on the island.
Great food, server was way too busy as well as the front desk but they were doing their best and hopefully it was a result of a sick call instead of just how they staff the place.
My favorite for miles and miles. Consistently great food and friendly service. Never miss it when Im in the area.
Really Great Atmosphere Diner/Restaurant Extra special attention when asked for it We ll recommend it to all our friends! Thanks So Much for a great Lunch!!! Food : 5/5 |
Was really good. First time going.
Always amazing service and really good food. The pies and clam chowder are extremely good! Highly recommend.
Excellent breakfasts friendly service
Great place to go.
Good food and fast friendly service
Good family restaurant, great service and pies for dessert.
Still the best family resteraunt in Duncan. The portions are big and almost feels like homemade. It is not fancy or exotic but good wholesome food. Service is very friendly and the resteraunt is always clean.
Great food at a good price Parking: Good angel parking Kid-friendliness: There were kids when I was there Wheelchair accessibility: Its a ground door door to get in
Quite popular. Perfect example of a roadside diner. Enjoyed good food and service
Overpriced, hash browns were barely cooked
Very good menu and service. Definately check it out if you are in Duncan. The chowder was very hearty and was very good. Food : 5/5
We had a fantastic lunch experience at Dog House. Staff were very friendly, it was a super kid-friendly place, great prices, and a surprisingly short wait time considering how many people were waiting. We got in within 5 minutes, even with a giant line up. Thank you!
Legit, original diner restaurant with perfect all day breakfast and a very large menu with everything else. Always a treat when were in Duncan. Server Naomi is the best, like the A+ server in diners in the movies, fast, thorough and friendly :)
