Chicken was good, but in a 15 pack of chicken...had 4 drumsticks and 5 wings....i wasnt impressed with this for 50$... I wont buy it again unfortunatley...ill cook my own and have as many wings and drumsticks for my guests for the same price....too bad, good chicken though, just not for the price and quality

We went through the drive-thru and Lance was AMAZING! He was upbeat and positive and energetic! You dont often get that kind of service through a drive-thru but his positive attitude really came through! Best customer service experience ive had in drive-thru. And food was amazing :)

Some of the worst chicken Ive ever tasted, and then on top of that cost, like the portions, are you kidding me? Sad.

Where to begin? Dining room was closed at 5:30pm, with at least 5 staff members inside. We got a box of chicken for take-out and when we got it home we were surprised by our first bite. It looked good, nice colour and not too greasy. Unfortunately, we were tuned off by the cigarette ash in the coating. Seriously, the whole box smelled like an ashtray. No word of a lie! We called the store and this was where the fun really began! As my wife was telling them about our experience, the person on the phone lit the gaslight. Excuses were flowing and the attitude was rising. A manager was put on the phone and they didnt not even give their name, just more excuses and attitude. My wife also received a call the following morning, again with excuses and gaslighting. You can imagine how we feel by this point. Thanks for the credit Lee. We will be back when Duncan has run out of all other food.

There is really not a single negative thing that can be said here. The Staff are all very friendly and accomidating, the food s top notch for fast food, great daily deals, always quiet inaide the restaraunt. My favourote place to grab a Chicken Sandwich

Have eaten at this restaurant for many years, recently we have noticed the portions of chicken have gotten smaller. Food was still good and service was also. Prices go up and portions getting smaller. I do not think I will dine here anymore.

Pretty good place. Really expensive though. For a family of four will typically cost around 50$+. Cheapest place to get chicken unless you want to drive for 1:30 hours to kfc. However besides all this it tastes quite good

Dined in cuz drive thru was slow. Inside service was lickity split. Got 6pc strips. Yum but cant figure out why theyre famous. The spicy strips spice was pepper. Good honey mustard dip.

The chicken burger was okay. They served cold gravy in a Styrofoam cup that was coagulated. There was a staff member sweeping the floor by my table while i was eating....

Havent been in a while but shocked today how small the portiions have become. Med fries filled 1/3 of a box, chicken Spicy Jumbo Dippers - TINY pieces, didnt even cover the bottom of the box ... WAS my wifes Go To take out place, wont be going back, shame.

Ridiculous waits in the drive-through. Waited 25 minutes, with only 3 cars in front of me, and nobody even took my order. I had to leave as my break was over. If you dont have enough staff to run the in-store and drive-through, CLOSE SOMETHING!!!!

I ordered a 9 piece meal ,Wasn t happy, very small ,meatless chicken . The legs were like they were from a piece of the wing so small . 3 backs with Nothing on them .Not enough fries for 3 people,I m done with Lees 47$ later

I think at one time this was a good chicken place. We went there and hubby got sick from the chicken. I guess it all depends who is cooking at the time.

Brutal. I accidentally thought my order was for delivery but it was for pickup. I picked it up and hour later and I asked if it would be possible to refresh my French fries but they said no.. spending $80 on a meal anywhere they would be ok with doing that. But no lees said straight up No..... Absolutely terrible customer service. Learn how to be pleasant with people after I gave them a $10 tip in top of it.. just wow. Some people should not be in customer service. Ive been in the industry I know what its like. Just unbelievable. Wont be ordering from here again.

I wish they still had their old home cut fries. Why else do they give you gravy for dipping fries. The only thing is the frys are now the coated fries which I do not like even dipped in gravy. Too bad Lees maybe you should go back to the old way.

Staff is super rude and dont respond when you talk to them. There floor is like a ice rink on every day of the year. Its a lawsuit waiting to happen. The blonde girl that works the counter couldnt wait for us to leave so she could go outside and vape with her coworker. My biscuit literally looks like someone took a piece of it. The only good thing about this place is the chicken is awesome.

This place has gone down hill. Used to be the go to place for good chicken. Would drive from Victoria just to get some. The staff is rude and smelled like they were sitting in their car smoking with the windows up, and the food is not worth the stop the breading was Soggy and the chickenwas cold. Would rather drive to Mary Browns than eat here now.

Spicy chicken sandwich was good the fries are ok but, the gravy tasted like flour and this isnt the first time! I also ordered a 7up and they gave me a pepsi. This wouldnt have been a problem if I ordered in the store but i had it delivered and if theyre going to offer delivery drinks are the easiest thing to not mess up especially when one is clear and the other isnt.

Usually really good love their spicy crispy chicken. Usually a nice portion of chicken breast in the chicken strip lunch special.

The Chicken strips meal after a ride at Tzouhalem or Maple Mountain is a perfect delicious snack for the ride home.

Had to wait over 15min after going through the drive thru and was not advised thr wait would be that long

Bad service at Lees the girls they hired in drive-tru. The service person had no mannors & very disrespectful just rude girl! And chicken strip meal was a joke hardly any fries 16$ meal and plus they forgot my honey mustard dip will not be returning! Little food and Bad service lately. Used to be good always delicious!

If you arent going during peak times dont bother. Not worth the price. Tough dry chicken and soggy breading. Good when its fresh however.

Great staff, but chicken was terrible. We waited 15 minutes as was busy. We got home and found chicken was over cooked to the point that we didnt eat it. Super dry and stringy. Uneatable for us. For the price you pay, I would expect a better product. Sides were good though. Will not go back for a long time...

This was the best fried chicken on the island but now its a bit overpriced and out of the way coming up from Victoria. The Spicey chicken is still properly spicey though and I like that a lot.

Ordered a 6 piece strips and fries. Tasted stale and the batter was not crunchy at all. Fries were soggy. Add a pop and the total was nearly $30. Name of the restaurant is misleading, there s nothing famous about it.

I found the service to be lacking in quality and speed, management are not particularly cooperative with resolving issues, having a great deal of experience and being much more assertive than most I was able to have an issue resolved however not without significant effort. ***!!! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE !!!*** I ONCE AGAIN ATTEMPTED TO PLACE A SMALL ORDER AT LEE$ CHICKEN IN DUNCAN ON TRUNK ROAD AND I WILL NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN! As I had a limited amount of time in order to place an order and receive it before I would be forced to leave I specifically asked how long it would take. I was told between five and ten minutes, I replied Im in a hurry so if you can get it done in five minutes Ill place a small order. The young lady agreed and I paid for my food only to be approached about five minutes later being told they were going to take at least fifteen minutes to complete my order and refunded my order. When I explained that I have now lost my opportunity to have a meal for a considerable period of time I was met with attitude and general rudeness. I let the staff know my review would be appropriately negative as my only experiences with this establishment have both been far from acceptable. Once again the level of filth I witnessed was far beyond acceptable, this time I have at least one photo to prove it! Parking: Lots of parking and dining area was sufficient for the size of the venue. Kid-friendliness: It didnt seem like there was any reason for concern here, it definitely wasnt like I walked into Hooters, The Red Lion or Montys so I guess child friendly is an appropriate term. Wheelchair accessibility: There is an acceptably sized doorway and parking allows for wheelchair access without going on a marathon to get in or put however Im not sure I would say the washroom was great for wheelchair accessiblity.

First time eating at Lees chicken. Their spicy chicken isnt at all very spicy. Tasted okay and its on par with KFC prices.

Im sad to be here with a negative edit, but Ive had to remove my review due to concerns about how staff and food quality have been recently. I moved away from the Duncan area but recently traveled back for a visit to my favorite southern style chicken shack on the island. I was met with disappointment as it seems that staff and food quality have gone down drastically since a couple of years ago. Sadly, they seemed to have returned to their old ways. I wont be going back any time soon.

Normally really good. Typically get the spicy chicken dippers combo, with 0 complaints. Today, I decided to just get a large box of chicken dippers, same price as the combo. I literally got the same amount of chicken as I would in the combo. There was more air in the box than chicken. The large box, is not worth it, don t waste your money like I did, get the combo.

Service was excellent, I enjoyed my lunch from here. I recommend coming here If you love chicken.

Great food at great prices! The service here is awesome and despite it being fast food, I can tell their employees really care about getting it right. Never had an issue with the food or with an order. Their fried chicken is so amazing and their onion rings are so good. I highly recommend it. I can tell they always make the food fresh to order. I am pleasantly surprised by this place. Parking: Pretty nice lot right by this place, adjoins to other shopping center.

Now, I understand when prices go up, but when the portions get smaller as well then we have a problem. Why are the Spicy JUMBO dippers suddenly the size of popcorn chicken? Why do we on get 7 tiny pieces? When I asked the staff they seemed genuinely confused so my guess is they were all newish. I have many lunch options in Duncan so I might just leave Lees alone for a while while you figure out how to stop alienating long time customers. -----_-------------- This chicken is to die for. I especially love the chicken burger lunch special. Some of the prices are a bit high but the quality is worth it.

Ordered a 9 Piece mealThe chicken was extremely dry Personally I believe it was sitting in the warmer for way too long went In the next day to complain was told I should have called that day ...not the next day . Nvm I had personal things to do was not top priority. Essentially got attitude from the manager nothing I can do no apologies for it . I know Ill save my 50$ a week for other things. So if you an issue call the day of or dont complain to them. Very unprofessional and disappointing .

So we waited 45min. Until we ask what happen. So they ask for our receipt and look for our order using the receipt. They also give as wrong order. I dont know what happen to them inside.

It was fried chicken, although not alot of meat on the bones... The fries werent very crispy, and were reminiscent of KfC fries, as was the the gravy. The spicy chicken was over battered... overall itll pass if you got no other choices, but if your serious about your chicken go elsewhere.

Oh we love Lees Chicken! Drove up from Victoria to pick up some chicken and wedge fries to take to the kids who are camping . Yummy !

I was at Lees Chicken Campbell River on Wednesday August 4th 2021 around 3:30pm. I have to say that the lady on the till who served me ( I didnt catch her name) was very pleasant and very helpful. Not just to me but the next two customers who followed me. The food that followed was also very good. Keep up the good work!

Food was passable but mystified by their seating plan. There isnt one. even though we are in step 3 of the restart plan and there is no limit on indoor dining they rudely kicked us out. Even though they had at least 5-6 indoor tables sitting empty. They could have easily set up 1-2 tables outside. Lost a customer for life.

I ve tried 3 times in 5 weeks to order from this establishment. All 3 times they couldn t do 9 piece all dark, & they were out of soooo many things. Those were my last 3 attempts. Sad to write this but our family is not happy.
