Reminded me of pizza you would get at chuckie cheeses. Cheap pepperoni, lots of cheap rubbery cheese to rot your gut, bland sauce and bloody expensive. Ate half a slice and gave my dog what he would call the best meal of the month.

The crust is amazing...then they put extremely fresh ingredients on top. You pick your favorites I wont sway you. Not a fan of the ground beef though. Makes the pie too moist for my liking.

Traditional chef Nick makes a pizza than can not be compaired to any pizza offered on Vancouver island Parking: Park anywhere in the large kitchen front, great location

The only reason Im giving five stars is because I cant give fourteen. Simply the best pizza Ive had outside of Italy. The crust is somehow dense and chewy while also being light and fluffy. There is so much cheese. If you are craving pizza, do yourself a favour and order Authentic

Had a couple of very good pizzas. Weve been back for more several times, and the pizzas are the best ever, with the best of ingredients.

I got two pizzas and both were undercooked, the dough was considerably raw. But still, my favourite pizza in town and I will go back.

Great pizza! The name says it all really. It was perfectly cooked. And under the cheese toppings, as it should be lol. I pride myself in my selection of good pizzerias and this is one of them. The owner was very nice as well. A little pricey but well worth it. I would recommend nicks special.

Wish I could try the pizza and leave a proper review but they dont answer their phone. I have tried calling three times in the last few months (during open hours) and no answer.. Edit: Pizza is absolutely fantastic. Owner is winding down so its not always open when they say.

Wow! Were new to the area and decided to give Authentic Pizza a try. Wow (again!)! Its likely some of the best pizza weve ever had. High-quality toppings, excellent sauce, and amazing crust. They were also pleasantly accommodating with a few tweaks we made to our toppings. We will be back for sure.....Thank you, Authentic Pizza!

Staying in Duncan overnight well travelling. Decided to try this place out as it was close by and had good reviews. The pizza was fantastic and I would definitely order again next time I m in the area.

Phenomenal pizza if you want pizza from scratch that will rock your tastebuds then this is the pizza shop for you! I always give him extra tips because nobody makes good pizza like he does thats for sure!!!!

BEST PIZZA in town by far. Nick started making pizza when he was 8 with his grandmother in Italy. Nothing but the best ingredients - he even uses New Zealand grass fed cheese! You may pay a couple more bucks, but it is so worth it!

This is horrible, I ordered a Keto pizza, and got something that didnt resemble a pizza. Got it home and it was completely raw...OMG and it cost me 18.00. Wow what a complete disappointment...never going back. Oh and the service was creepy and unfriendly, that should of been my first red flag and left.

After an afternoon spent volunteering in the community, we had two families hop over for a quick lunch. The owner Nick was extremely courteous and friendly. He made us pizza that was made on fresh handmade dough, served piping hot with lots of authentic cheese and fresh ingredients. It was so good that there was silence at the tables....everyone was thoroughly enjoying their slices. He wasnt even opened yet...thanks Nick for good conversation and awesome pizza!

Hands down by far the finest and most satisfying pizza available anywhere in Canada! You would be hard pressed to find a better pizzaeia outside of Europe and Authentic Pizza still would be fierce competition even in Italy!

Simply the best pizza in Cowichan! Small business with high quality ingredients and excellent pizzas. Traditional flying dough, fresh vegetables, high quality local meat, high quality cheese (not pre shredded non sense). There is a delivery charge and if you order too late they may run out of dough. But the pizza is cheesy and amazing!

We just moved to Duncan. When I asked my coworkers who had the best pizza it was unanimous that Authentic Pizza was the best. So yesterday we ordered from Authentic and it was literally the best pizza I ever had. I have had pizza right across the country from making your own to take and bake and franchised makers and Authentic Pizza is hands down the best.

So they screwed up our order (of course realized after the driver got a 10.00 tip!) I asked for no mushrooms and I got mushrooms. Called to ask them to send a new one and id give them the wrong one back. The owner had the nerve to argue with me (customers always right??) and accuse me of looking for free food! We only ever order the authentic, which I KNOW has mushrooms, I always say no mushrooms. He tried to repeat the whole conversation back to me (leaving out my request of no mushrooms), my husband was sitting right there and heard me order! I told him all I wanted was a new Pizza without mushrooms, would give him back the untouched one and he still wouldn t admit it or fix it!! And after we tipped the driver 10.00 for a 2 minute drive!! Never again. He actually hung up on me!

Pizza is decent. Its nice to know youre getting a pie that isnt made with low quality ingredients. But I wasnt remotely impressed for any kind of wow factor on Italian flavoring. It tastes good, but to me its more average. Also they dont take foreign Visa because it takes 2 weeks to clear?? Money is money, I really hope the business isnt that fragile since locals love it. Locals probably know its a good place for pizza kids like.

After reading the rave reviews, we were passing through and thought we would try it out. Best pizza we have had in years. Crust is thin and bubbly like a pizza should be. Had the ultimate meat pizza and no grease but full of flavour. Wish Authentic was our local pizza joint.

The only negative review here is most likley a competing pizza place. Authentic is by far the best pizza in town and has been for years. They use top quality ingredients and actually care about the quality of the product they serve. They make pizza the way you would for your self... If you could make amazing pizza.

Best pizza Ive ever had; no question! I eat pizza wherever I go; Las Vegas, Vancouver, Victoria, Seattle, doesnt matter. Some come close, but never get it just right. Nick does. Come in the late afternoon and watch Nick throwing pizza dough. Just one of the details that makes a superior pizza.

This is hands down by far the best pizza in Canada! The dough is made fresh daily, the cheese is graded daily with an in house combination producing the perfect blend. Vegetables are hand cut as required, everything is fresh and of superior quality. The sauce is also an in house creation and is made from quality ingredients. The dough and sauce are both family recipes passed down for several generations. The food cant be beet and they offer delivery and dine in options. You wont be disappointed if you order a pizza dont expect it to be quick, to make something this good requires time. A family run business of the finest quality.

First time to Duncan. This pizza was so damn good, I called him from the road on my way back to Victoria to tell him so. Great thin crust, loaded with fresh toppings, and made right on the spot. This actually was authentic pizza. 10/10

Excellent, the crust is soft and has that artisanal taste and texture to it. The tomato sauce must be handmade because its exquisite. This is, hands down, our pizza place from now on.
