Not really a burrito....more a square food pocket, burritos are supposed to be more cylindrical in shape. Taste was ok but honestly I make a WAY better burrito at home, and for 19 bucks it didn't really blow my skirt up. Way too expensive for what you get. Oh and what the hell, turn up the heat! The dining area was freezing.
Still riding the high of AWESOME delicious tacos for BREAKFAST!! Perfect beef filling with really fresh accents! Dude, I got pickled onions, I am so impressed. Thanks Parmol you made my day with your great food and service.
Great place , love the vegetarian burrito with advocado....yum. Healthy food , great Mexican tunes , service comes with big smiles , portions are quite large. Burritos are made perfect every time.....sooo many toppings. You will be pleased you dropped in . Prices are surprisingly reasonable.
They have severely reduced the size of their burrito bowls since the last time I ordered a couple months ago (I'm talking almost half) and they barely add extra toppings when you pay for them. Also they charge $8 for kids meals and this is the size of the burritos... you get 2 but still, thats not even enough to feed my toddler. Definitely not worth what you pay, will not be returning.
“I ordered the Spicy Chicken Burrito Bowl, and to my surprise, it arrived without any chicken. How does a restaurant forget the main ingredient in their signature dish? This kind of oversight is unacceptable. Not only was my meal incomplete, but the lack of attention to detail is concerning. If you’re ordering online, be cautious—there’s no guarantee you’ll get what you actually ordered. I definitely won’t be returning to this place.” Dated: June 4th, 2024, 1:30 PM
As a Mexican, I was excited to try this new place in town … until I read the menu. In my books, any one that offers as tacos the bent hard shell “tortillas” ( that us mexicans call tostadas dobladas) can NOT be real mexican food. And .. I was right. This is NOT mexican food but USA Texas version of Mexicsn food. My husband it was like a version of Subway with tex-mex ingredients, and I think he nailed it. I got a big burrito with whole wheat flour tortilla (unless you are from the north of Mexico, tortillas are meant to be done of corn not flour .. shrug). Taste was good (and that is why Im giving this review 4 stars) I actually tried to order for pickup with the app, and after going through all the process of registering and confirming, etc. I just couldn’t pass away from the initial pick up screen. Husband had to go in store to order and pick up food. Hope they fix this in future app revisions since I might keep coming to this place.
Went here for lunch not surprised that there was a line but it movies very quickly. Lost of different flavours of meat and vegetarian options they have a chipotle tofu option that looks really good and seasoned veggies that look fresh with spices and herbs. They do have kids meals for about $7 that comes with a drink and chips with a burrito or quesadilla. I personally got the beef barbacoa burrito with beans, rice, lettuce, queso, corn, sour cream and spicy mayo (it really packs a spice) the burrito was amazing and the perfect size for me (regular size) they offer 3 different size types 10” 12” or 14”. The churro was kind of a letdown wasn’t sugar properly, so only one side had sugar on it and they were on the small side. I definitely suggest heating them up or getting them fresh if possible. They did only have 5 jarritos soda options mostly fruit ones like pineapple and mango unfortunately no Mexican cola.
I am so excited for this burrito and taco place in Duncan! Friendly staff and quick paced especially with all the excited customers at this opening restaurant. This is definitely the new place I’d be coming often! Prices are also really good! I already been coming here almost everyday and some of the workers already recognize me which is so sweet <3 I hear on media some people are looking for authentic Mexican food here but this place is more American Mexican food but definitely great salsa like what you might taste in Mexico and they have great burritos and churros!
Was accidentally given the wrong burrito over a year ago - they took my name and number and repaid me with a delicious burrito tonight
Big burritos for a reasonable price, vegan options, and friendly staff. Love this spot.
First timer...Ordered 6 tacos, 3 each. Best tacos weve had in awhile. More than enough for two people. We highly recommend Quesada.
Good food Extremely shitty service
I tried toffu burrito. It was so delicious and the guy harjot welcomed me with a great smile and was very friendly. I highly recommend this place for delicious food and service.
Our delivery didnt arrive, but the very nice woman (didnt get her name) I spoke with made a fresh order and delivered it personally. A++ service. Food was good, too. Food
So fresh and delicious, One of my most favorite places to eat.
Food was mid, employees are very rude. Wouldn t recommend to anyone.
I love the food here and the staff is so friendly it has become my favorite place to eat.
Staff dosent drain excess liquid from meats got a big soggy mess instead of tacos.
Was there July 22, 2024 in the evening. Good burrito, really enjoyed it. The staff and service however were unfriendly at best. I get working in fast food isnt anyones idea of a dream job but its not may fault youre doing it. A smile, a greeting, a thank you and speaking in more than a mumble are the basics in the service industry. By far the worst service experience in a long, long time.
Had the crispy tacos. The tacos cracked broke when the front guy wrapped. He immediately apologized and made me another one. I loved the spicy sauce. I enjoyed it.
The staff did a decent job on food! But not good job on cleaning the place and they weren t really friendly! Food
I stopped here last night to pick up my food. The customer service was wonderful. Harjot was so friendly and he made super delicious wrap for me. The store was very clean. I highly recommend this place.
Food tasted great, but there was a hair in my partners meal. They should probably be wearing hairnets over their beards ?
I had food catered for a party and it was amazing everyone loved it mini burritos was a hit !!!
I come here 2 or 3 times per week for the chicken burrito. They honestly make the BEST burritos I have ever had. Friendly staff, fast service and good portions!!! My son is a fussy eater but he also loves the burritos and would eat here every day if I let him!
The food is absolutely amazing very flavorful !! Employees are friendly.
We got takeout which took them forever to make and the food was partly burned. The quesadilla was not toasted properly so it was floppy and soggy. Made it very difficult to eat as we were in a motel at the time with no cutlery. Not too cheap either.
Wow, one of the best Burritos i had in many years. I tried the ground beef and chicken tinga, and both tasted really amazing. Right spice, right price and great portions. Loved the fact that i was being served by the owners Shobhit and Akanksa. Both are very friendly and kind. Cheers guys, wish you all the best. Hopefully will visit again once back to Duncan. Best, Aakash
Nope. First visit..last visit.
Good food, great customer service!
Simply the best late night food a person could ask for Thank you for giving us something better to eat than McDonalds for us late night workers.
The burrito tastes really good. It has a lot of different flavors that go well together.
Good service
Quick, easy, delicious, affordable. Great staff. Nuff said Dietary restrictions: Easy gluten-free options Food : 4/5 |
Very friendly staff indeed! Ordered a pulled pork burrito with beans and all the trimmings. Great portion sizes, however it was, sadly bland! It looked so good in its presentation and I wanted it to taste as good but alas it was alot of nothing, reminded me of subway where all there ingredients taste the same. I would skip quesada for my next lunch but Im open to have my mind changed.
It was okay
The Quesadilla and Burrito were tasty. The tortilla became soggy quickly so Ill recommend to bake/roast it more. Vegetarian options are available Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options without eggs are available. Parking: Easily available
3rd time here...staff are very friendly..food is fantastic! Will contine to HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to people...SO delish!!
They really need to get staff that care at least a bit, for the customers and the interior. Food plopped on tacos, lazily wrapped, Chairs askew, cases of bottles half open out on counters, not on the shelves.. lunch time and 1 guy in the place, no others after us.
Ingredient quantity/quality is excellent great team behind this spot & still very affordable by comparison to other options
Amazing place to hang out and good quality food. Very friendly staff and will definitely recommend it.
Very excited they opened out here in Duncan, tried today for the first time. Very clean fresh looking seating area. Fresh quality ingredients, everything I had in my bowl was delicious and reasonable pricing for what you get. You can tell the ingredients are prepped fresh not from a bag. Great friendly staff. I will be a regular customer without a doubt. Welcome to Duncan !
Just went their for dinner. Huge line up but went very fast and was actually nice to see it so busy. The staff were super friendly and helpful with their menu selection. The food was delicious, home made guacamole and salsa. Four.We will be back. Best of luck with your new business. Parking: Tons of parking
Excellent service & awesome food. Loved this place.
Great tacos nice spot for family and friends. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options Parking: Its a bit busy Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Its accessible
Wonderful place with amazing staff, great food, and an awesome atmosphere! 10/10
Have theses people even been to Mexico, the worst ever.
Amazing food and amazing customer service!!
Welcoming staff. Fresh vegetables and tasty food Duncan finally has best Mexican food must try
Super friendly, and great customer service. Fast and fantastic food. Definitely recommend and will be eating there again for sure.
I m trying to order delivery through the app and it s not showing up
Food was really awesome. Speacialy quesada is my fav. All staff are good and warm welcome to everyone
Amazing food and friendly+ very professional staff
Very nice ambience, good and hardworking staff. Food is very nice. Keep up the good work! ;)
Great place to hangout. And very good food.
Delicious. Had beef barbacoa burrito! Just like bar burrito. Big portions, select your toppings and reasonably priced. Yay! Will be back lol Parking: Big parking lot Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Super yummy! Staff were all very friendly. Definitely will be back. So happy to have Mexican spot in Duncan! :)
Staff was friendly, burrito was tasty. One problem: Im already paying $16 for a burrito, and if Im paying $1.50 extra for guacamole, PLEASE put a decent amount of guacamole on there! They spread it across the tortilla thin like butter, carefully making sure you dont get too much. Will improve my rating if they dont skimp on the guac next time. Otherwise I wont return.
Good food, ambience and friendly staff
Food was delicious, staff are very friendly. I was in there and it was completely packed out the door and all the staff were so happy. Food taste way better than Chipotle or any of the other mexican food places Ive been too! Wiull be going here all the time
Great flavour, tons of spice, probably my new favourite place in town. Their kids meal for the cheese rolls and such is a bit lacking, but the main meals are absolutely premium.
The staff was great. The portions were small for what we paid. No flavour. We tried it and won t be returning
Tried twice, first time was not impressed with tiny portions or quality (Ancho pork bowl). Went again and was better (Spicy Chicken burrito) but consistently small portions of everything. To their credit they add more without question if you ask. I ve always enjoyed Bar Burrito in Nanaimo and was hoping for the same but it wasn t comparable.
Had a beef burrito and the fish tacos. Both were amazing! Service was very friendly.
Amazing service. Great family run business. Cant wait to come back and try something new!!
Great addition to Duncan. Will definitely be back
Delicious, fresh and affordable, and lots of options for restricted diets. And a kids menu!
Horrible experience! Very tiny portions and you need to pay extra for guacamole or veggies Very disappointed
Awful service! If I could give less than one star I definitely would. Worst experience ever!!!! They made fun of me talking in their own language (I believe it was in Hindi) just because I was asking questions about the menu. Very rude! Hope Karma gives them what they deserve Regarding the food, the most average/mediocre Mexican food I ever had. I would not recommend
Great place. Always tasty will keep coming back.
Great customer service and the food is reasonably priced with large portions!
I just went and tried this place for dinner. Large line up but HIGHLY recommend. The staff was so lovely and very informative and helpful! I took it to go and I got home and started chowing down. (I m 5 bites in and had to stop to write this review!) So flavourful! I m lost for words and will be 100000% going back asap!
Enjoyed the beef barbacoa burrito. Very fulfilling and the staff were great!
Way better than Surrey location! Hands down the best bowl I ve ever had from this franchise. Vegetarian options: They have tofu and so many grains/veggies that you could just not add meat at all I actually prefer it veggie! Dietary restrictions: Something for everyone! Parking: Easy, accessible and free Kid-friendliness: Absolutely anyone is welcomed! Wheelchair accessibility: Easily ground floor.
Fantastic food
Food was good but service was the worst.
Excellent food. Set up like a Subway so you get just what you want. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access. Food : 5/5 |
Amazing staff!
worst experience i said i want one of each dips for churros she dont know the meaning and i said i want all the veggies and she again ask me you want Lettuce pickled onions etc the Guy with turban very helpful his name is Parmool
If youre looking for a dining experience that combines exceptional service with delicious food, look no further than Quesada. While it may be a chain restaurant, the quality of the food and the attention to detail from the staff really sets it apart. First, lets talk about the staff. From the moment you walk in the door, youre greeted with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. The staff members at Quesada are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. Whether youre in a rush or have time to sit down and savor your meal, the staff is always accommodating and attentive. Now, onto the food. Quesada offers a wide variety of menu items, from classic Mexican dishes like tacos and burritos to more unique options like their famous Quesarito (a quesadilla-burrito hybrid that is as delicious as it sounds). The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. But what really sets Quesada apart is their commitment to quality. They use only the best ingredients and take care to prepare each dish with care. You can taste the difference in every bite. In addition, its an amaziany kid friendly environment. Overall, I highly recommend Quesada to anyone looking for a delicious meal and exceptional service. Whether youre grabbing a quick bite on the go or sitting down for a leisurely meal with friends or family, Quesada is sure to exceed your expectations. Kid-friendliness: Super kind staff took the time to interact in a really cute way with my daughter made me feel like it was a nice small family restaurant. I really appreciate that kind of stuff.
Sooo good! The ingredients are really fresh and delicious. Definitely well priced. The people were so friendly. This might just be my new favourite place to grab a quick bite to eat in Duncan :)
Spicy quesadilla was spicy and delicious! American visiting.
Disappointed that they don t have different levels of spice and got home and kids couldn t eat food and even I had a hard time. It would be nice if they had some form of rating for level of spice in the items. Also a teaspoon of guacamole what is that. For the price we spent I would have rather driven to Gina s in Nanaimo and say down for dinner. This was fast food at restaurant prices. Won t go back.
Food was passable I guess. Took 20 minutes to get Chile Fish Quesadillas. By the time we got our the rest of our party was done. Staff was quite snappy and rude.
Staff were great, food was amazing. I would recommend going if you havent been.
Wed been wanting to try this for a while, and finally did the other night! Its impossible to not compare to Chipotle, with the concept being so similar and them sort of setting the bar so to speak. We each had a burrito (4 total) & shared a large chips & gauc. The good: -Being able to choose sizes is brilliant. -Great selection of ingredients, all of which seemed fresh. -I liked the burrito being grilled. Maybe not for everyone, but a plus for me! It also wasnt scalding hot, but a great temp -Prices are quite reasonable -Open late! The average: -The burrito itself gets a solid good. It wasnt exciting and didnt create that craveable Chipotle experience, but there also wasnt much to fault. I felt like the spicy chicken (which was described as a 7/10 on the spice scale by an employee) was pretty mild! The bad: -I was surprised they wanted extra $ for the grilled veggies to replace the beans, which I usually opt to skip. This felt pretty cheap, and I was not expecting that. (This is my usual at Chipotle) -The sit down area was pretty dirty. We ended up cleaning off our own table, the trash cans were partly overflowing, etc. The order area was well staffed and very efficient, but the rest seemed ignored. -The chips & guac were overpriced and extremely disappointing. The guac was ok (though it seemed small for a large) but the chips were downright terrible. I specifically had hoped for something more authentic & Mexican Restaurant style, but this was NOT that. They were oversalted, flavourless, and sort of thick cardboard. -To further mention the chips, half of the bag was just crumbles of smashed chips. I guess its a good thing the large guac was small, because we ran out of dippable chips first... The inexcusable: -The digital menu screens rotate their content making them impossible to read. My parents were with us, who are a bit slower to take in the menu options... this was massively frustrating for them, and started the whole thing off on a bad note. Removing an entire half of the menu to advertise some single pre-made option is ridiculous and serves no purpose but to annoy customers. I realize its foolish to expect really authentic Mexican food from a place like this, but their website blog talks about a lot about Mexican food culture, etc which is pretty neat. That led me to think it might have been a bit more on point than it was. I think had we skipped the chips I might have had a much better impression overall. Would I go back? Probably not without reason. The late hours are a huge plus though - I can see grabbing a burrito if we were ever coming home from Victoria late and most other things were closed. Its certainly a massive step up from late-night fast food options.
Phenomenal place! Friendly, attentive service. The line can get busy but it s constantly moving. Food is always fresh and tasty. Lots of healthy alternatives. All burritos are custom made as you like them. Easy to navigate menu. Have been back at least a dozen times and look forward to many more visits.
Spice was good but that was the soggiest quesadilla I ve ever had
My husband and I truly love this wonderful new addition to our town!!! I have lived in parts of the southwestern USA and when I came home to Canada Ive not been to thrilled with much of the Mexican food. But this place hits the spot. Woo-hoo great fresh and great tasting food with great portions and the customer service is wonderful as we come in probably 3 times a week if not more. A we walked in just today my husband says jokingly honey Im home as we are welcomed with warm smiles. Several of the employees pretty much know our favorites and are generous and kind to us. Very respectful to us seniors! The were very patient with us as my husband has to be more careful with spicy foods. Letting us sample to see what works for us. So accommodating. Thank you to the owners and employees! Dietary restrictions: Just share your needs and they adjust for you.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is no automatic door opener or button to push. Difficult to get in and out, unless someone else is opening the door. Food
Its basically Mexican Subway. $15 for a regular burrito and a Mexican soda.
I usually go to Mucho Burrito but I was driving through Duncan and found this restaurant. The food was way better than Mucho burrito and a little bit cheaper. The sizes are very big and I could barely finish a large (and I am a big eater). I only gave three stars for service and atmosphere because it was hard to understand the accent of the workers and the restaurant itself was not very interesting or comfortable.
I had a late night burrito and Harjot was so friendly, he had a great smile and was very welcoming. He also made some really great burritos!!!
Placed an order on the app, my credit card was charged but the store was not aware of my order.. Food is good
I ordered the nachos. They looked great In the picture but when I got them it was just a sloppy mess of topping on like 5 chips. Hardly nachos. In the picture there was tons of chips. What a waste of money. Trying to figure out how to add a picture
The most bland Americanized Mexican food I have ever eaten. The only discernable taste that I can remember is the slightly burned tortilla shell. None of the ingredients were noticeable. All the life had been cooked out of the ingredients. I ended up going across the way to another restaurant to get something else. Speed: 3/5 - Not bad, not great. Sat around for 5 mins and a nearby filthy table. I guess when you only staff 2 people for lunch service, cleaning takes a backseat. Atmosphere: 2/5 - With some more diligent cleaning and some decor this place would be nicer. Its very similar to eating at a dirty food court with loud Mexican music playing. The speed which the menus cycle is highly irritating when you are trying to figure out the menu. Food: 2/5: - Looks great but doesnt taste great. I was disappointed greatly by the complete lack of taste. Value 2/5: - Portion-wise the value is 3/5. Factoring in the quality of the food I probably would only pay $7 for what I got, not $12.
Service was friendly & fast. The food left nothing to be desired. Ordered chicken quesadilla. Not a lot of flavor, just heat/spice. Ordered a XL burrito, very generous size. Same issue, no flavor, just packed full of ingredients. It was $20/per person. Food
