Our waitress was great, but this was one of the worst fast casual meals I have ever had

We ordered on Uber eats. One of the desserts was delivered and was good. Somehow they missed one of our two items.

Went to dinner with family. Ordered nachos like we always do. They came with two different types of chips and one type was super soggy. You couldnt pick up the chip. When we complained, no word of a lie, the server said this is how it is. The manager.. Dark skinned guy watched and listened but never stepped in. We asked for a new order and they said no problem. Funny thing is, the new order wasnt soggy so I guess it wasnt the way it is. When we got the bill, they charged us for two nacho orders. We obviously thought it was a mistake but noooo, the server went into crazy mode. She made us pay the bill threatening to call the police and asked us to leave because we were becoming aggressive. We will never return there, cant believe to this day that happened. its old and dingy anyways but liked the nachos. We are dealing with head office at this point.

Huge selection of food and drinks! Mrin Unicorn cocktail was delicious!! The food tastes super delicious! Service was friendly and very nice!! Cool restaurant, there was sport everywhere!

Got the carnivore with linguine noodles and its so worth the $35 for 2 servings. I thought it was smaller, so I got 2 was a great mistake.

Food was not good. They mixed old Ceasar with new. The chicken on the Ceasar was dry and chewy. Pasta was cold in some spots and lava in others. Mystery meat meatballs which were edible but I would be surprised if any substantial amount was actual meat, and clearly frozen then nuked. Waitress was super nice attentive and smiled all the time. Though she did give me the wrong drink. Afterwards both myself and my wife felt bloated and sickly, Which is weird because I didnt even eat half the pasta. All in all, I wont be back. But I did tip the waitress, not her fault the food sucked..... Also really expensive, even compared to post COVID prices.

Barely anyone there and yet I had to continuously get waitresses attention next to no one acknowledged that my lasagna wasnt fully cooked and middle was cold worst experience there and I dont think Ill go back which is unfortunate but is what it is.. teach me to cook at home gahhh

Have been a strong supporter of Boston Pizza since they came to the Valley-- unfortunately, the pizza ee ordered and had delivered the other night was absolutely terrible. Delivery driver friendly - no issues there. Just quality of the pizza appears to be slipping.

12 Apr 2024, 1800hrs. Food was good. Service was not good. Finger foods of nachos and wings. No handwipes. Asked for handwipes on the first and only check on. No check for drink refills. Washrooms need to be checked/cleaned more frequently. All the servers were hanging out at the terminal by the bar. The place was not busy. Parking: On busy days/nights parking is packed. It is shared with Wendys and other businesses.

If I could give you negative stars I would horrible service. I have dietary restrictions. I cannot eat dairy. Your server expressed how she also is dairy-free then fed me a burger with cheese on it. Waited 25 mins for waitress to come for drinks n order.... only 4 other tables n all tables were done eating..... hopefully food is good.... so far disappointed. 3 or 4 waitresses on. Place is freezing cold... almost wanna leave coat on.

Walked in was sat and ordered within 5 minutes, food came within 20. They were short staffed which there were signs posted but we were still served in a timely manner and checked up on. Food was good

Ordered online New Years Eve, in the morning, first time trying their online ordering. Got to request Well done, which was great. Picked up our 2 pizzas at 5pm New Years Eve, they were hot and ready for us and the restaurant included a little holiday treat of some cans of pop and 2 packages of Ferrero Rocher, so nice and unexpected. After we ate our first slice (Meteor, yum) we looked at each other and agreed the Boston Pizza quality and taste we were hoping for was there and then some. BEST PIZZA ever! Thanks for making our New Years Eve perfect! Parking: Easy to find and lots of parking.

So disappointed in our take out, we didn t get any dips that were supposed come with the appetizers, chicken wings were soggy and disgusting, and the onion rings we ordered were supposed to be the spicy ones and got soggy rings no siracha and no dip. 60$ to throw our food out.

Impulsively decided to order pizza on our way home, and we were happily surprised because the owner added free beverages to our order! Such a kind gesture on a day where we really needed it! Also very fast service, the employees were so nice and the pizza was scrumptious as always!

I will have to say there are so many lousy restaurant chains. I have not eaten at Boston pizza for years. I went the other day, and the service and food were terrible. My fires came out cold, and the Boston brute was offal no flavour, lukewarm sandwich. I will not be returning to Boston pizza. I can cook far better at home. It s very disappointing!

I have been going here since I was a kid. food has always been great and the staff are very nice.

The food was fine the service too. However, the outside door closed on me as I was leaving and it peeled the skin off of my hand. I returned to the restaurant and told the person at the counter what had happened as I stood there with my bloody hand. There was no apology, no offer to help and no attempt to make up for this. We called the following day and it seems that they had not adjusted the door closer nor did it seem that they were likely to. As a senior it will take some time for my injury to heal so I will remember this meal for a very long time.

Trash service, ordered delivery and an hour later they called and said that it was ready for pick up and that I didn t order delivery. Picked it up and it was cold and they told me If I wanted delivery I d have to pay a deliver charge and save the cold food to return. Won t be going back to this dump

I had the best experience at this particular Boston pizza . The food was delicious , service was on point and we didn t have to wait for long . So pleasant environment too . Would recommend everyone to check this place out . Won t regret it .

Definitely a five star for this Boston pizza! My best friend held her seven year olds birthday party here (as she does with all of her children s birthday parties for the last, however, many years!) Unfortunately, I could not attend her seven year olds birthday this year so I called Boston pizza while my best friend was attending their pizza party there, and asked if I could pay over the phone for a slice of birthday cake to be delivered to the table. Unfortunately, they are not set up for payment over the phone but she did assure me that she would send a free slice of cake on the house to the table I was inquiring about. The young woman I spoke to, was extremely friendly, helpful and enthusiastic- her name was Robyn I believe was super friendly, and had no problem, reassuring that they would do that for me regardless of not being able to take payment on the phone (therefore it was free ). I got a text message from my friend holding the party, about 15 minutes later - stating how happy her seven year old son was knowing he got a slice of cake from his auntie that was out of town!!! Not only did she go above and beyond with delivering this request, but was more than happy to assure me that this will be done with no payment no problem whatsoever and had a great attitude about it. I did grow up in Duncan and know from previous years that this town is nothing but friendly and enthusiastic about helping the community and delivering amazing customer service year round. Thank you Boston Pizza Duncan!

Love Boston pizza place. Amazing people.

The food here isnt actually that good compared to other pizza places in the area. I can tell the cheese is frozen and the pizza sauce isnt great. Their pepperoni tastes gross tbh. Also the alfredo sauce smells so weird and makes your breath horrible afterward. And the prices are outrageous considering the quality of the products. It was $45 just for a medium 2 topping pizza, even though the menu says its $25. It also doesnt list toppings or say how much it costs to add a topping to your pizza. Crazy! The service is usually pretty good though. Thats about all I can say about it. This place is just very underwhelming and I probably wont be back if I can help it.

Burnt chicken, small servings, black/brown wilted lettuce. We complained to staff after showing them nearly full plates left over, no compensation. Its unfortunate to walk out of a special lunch date hungry, and not impressed. Waitress was sweet, if it wasnt for her, it would be a 0/5 rating.

Horrible service, waited 10 minutes to get seated as there were tables open but the family behind us got seated right away. Had to go back up to the front to get our own menus. 3 bigger tables that came after us all got their food before us, and our waitress never checked on us but was consistent with checking the table behind us. Will never be coming back

We went with a large group. Close to 40 people. We pre ordered and the restaurant was ready for us. We were all fed and paid and out of there in less than 90 minutes. Incredible really. Staff was very efficient. No complaints there at all. They were great. Food was mediocre. I ve never really liked any of their food - only reason I went was I was part of the large hockey group. I did order a beer without looking at a menu. My mistake!! Nearly $10 for a beer!!! Am at at Roger s Place?? Not sure I have ever paid that much for a pint (aside from sporting arenas) in my life. Add the mandatory 20% tip for the large group and suddenly that beer cost me $12. Simply insane. Thank god I didn t order a second one!!! Two small pizzas, one pop, one beer. $75. WAY too expensive for what it is. Parking: Parking lot was a zoo.

Went there for a staff party, our server wasnt that good, took forever to get our food, and when our food came its like our server didnt even know who ordered what, taste wise..was ok..service wise need a lot of work...atmosphere wise was actually good hance the 4 stars...over all...dont think Ill ever go back!!

Ordered over 80.00 dollars worth of food, plus tip. Got cold pasta, that wasnt even close to what I ordered. Called and spoke to the manager, and he said he would call me back in 5-10 minutes. Waited over an hour. Called back. They told me they could replace my food, but there was no guarantee if I would even get it. How does that work??? Will not be back. So disgusted.

One of the best dine in spots in Duncan. Pizza lovers, you will find the best taste here. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the vegetarian pizza but they have a variety of pizza options plus other items that you can enjoy.

Basically a family restaurant now. Only kids and the nearly dead when we went.

Pizza crust was crispy and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Boston size Caesars were delicious. Clean restaurant. Updated venue. Only thing I didnt like was Caesar salad had too much dressing and the server didnt ask if I wanted another drink.

It was quite late when we reach the Boston pizza Duncan and we were the last customers. only 25 more mins to close so we quickly ordered the big dipper.the customers service was good enough.we thought that the staffs would be angry because we were late to order but doesnt felt anything bad from them.

Meh. You have certain expectations with a chain restaurant and I don t think this location quite nailed it. The salad wasn t made properly and the service was just kind of meh.

Food is over priced, bland, toppings on the pizzas are few and far between.if I spend over 20$ for a small pizza Id like it to have something on it. Was served with a dirty glass, server kept playing with his mustache between handling orders with out washing his hands. And complained to other staff after I still gave a tip because it was not enough. Dont worry about how much I will be tipping any more because I wont be coming back at all.

Waking into the building I immediately understand what the theme of this restaurant chain was: sports. If it wasnt obvious by the tens of tvs showing the hockey game, the decor definitely gives it away Walking in, Im immediately greeted by a hostess, who seats me rather quickly. There wasnt many other customers there, as it was only about 3pm on a Saturday. As I was going through the menu, I realize why my family doesnt go here anymore. All the food is basic, which is my complaint for this restaurant and the prices were a little too high for what they offer. 26 bucks for a cheese pizza? I order a drink which was a new one they had at the time, (as seen in the picture) unicorn lemonade. It tasted sour, sweet and a great drink to go with your meal. My food came 20 minutes after i ordered, an ok wait time. I got the chai chicken wrap, and it was really good. The chicken was crisp, the flavour was a mix of sweet and spicy and definitely worth your money. My only gripe were the fries, floppy and greesey do deducting points for that. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience, and I probably will come back in the future

This place has gone downhill for awhile. Came in today for dinner because we knew the food was good. It didnt seem busy, maybe a handful of tables to wait on. Unfortunately, after being seated for more than five minutes nobody came to see how we were doing, ask us for our drinks, or see if we were ready to order. We felt completely ignored so we got up and left. We used to order pickup from here often; but, after this sit-in experience, its sad that we wont be doing that anymore either.

We were visiting from out of town and that was the closest place we could go to for our visit...we went there twice, first time preferred rice and quinoa... They brought only brown rice... When asked they said oh yeah the kitchen says we dont have quinoa do you got this instead.... Umm what?! Second time we went, 8pm on a Saturday, they said at the door that they didnt have kitchen crew... So they only serve appetizers... And they said they suggest going somewhere else... What kind of restaurant is this?! And if you go there at night park you car in a very lit visible area their parking is filled with very very very shady people.

Showed up last night with a group 10 people and we were told that they were very short staffed and that they had a smaller size menu! The staff that they did have were amazing, the service was great. Our drinks were always topped up and fast here mobile and our food tasted amazing, looked amazing and was also super fast last time. 10/10

Rude Manager who tried to scam us! We ordered a bunch of meals to take home. At first we were delighted because someone gave us complimentary drinks. But as soon as we got home we noticed the pizza was missing. We called and apparently they didn t have enough hands even though another person came with the drinks. They simply said we need to come back and hung up. I tried calling back 8 different times and no one answered. I had to drive back and brought back another meal that was inedible when we got home. When I got there the manager was incredibly rude and almost refused to give us a refund for the pizza. He didn t even apologize for the inconvenience. I finally got my refund and noticed there wasn t enough to cover the meal. I asked to see the receipt and the manager tried to send us off, but I asked again and he gave in. I was right and he tried to give us less than what the meal was. The food we did eat was decent but it s safe to safe we won t be coming back.

Worst lunch food I ve had in more years than I can count I live in Nanaimo and have a friend who lives in Victoria,..we meet for lunch in Duncan every few months Tried BP for something new I ordered a Cesar Salad with grilled chicken and specifically asked our server to ask the cook not to overcook the chicken,..in my experience, most chicken is pounded quite thin and grilled,..it overcooks very quickly My friend ordered beef dip When the food arrived,..the chicken was soo dry and chewy,..The beef dip was on a huge sub bun with a few pieces of round beef? Cross between cardboard and beef jerky The food was disappointing enough,.. but the service was terrible Not because of a shortage of staff,..but because both servers we re constantly going to talk to a friend sitting at the bar As a result,..our server did not come back to check on us until it was too late to make us a better meal When she did come back 5 mins later,..I shared that my chicken was inedible, and to please take it off my bill My friend usually looks forward to eating half his lunch and taking the other half home for dinner He did not take any home Perhaps we should have ordered Pizza I would assume you know how to make that If your cooks do not know how to prepare simple foods properly, You should not have it on the menu I did give 1 star because the server brought me extra lemon for my iced tea, and my friend said the fries and gravy were ok

Best restaurant ever. My group of 53 were abandoned by Wilsons bus company at the theater in Duncan with starving kids. We called the restaurant and they made accommodations for all of us and a special menu. They had amazing service and accommodated all of us vey quickly while even being short staffed. I will definitely be eating at this Boston Pizza again and I strongly encourage everyone in Duncan to as well.

We were recently stranded by buses not coming to get us after our shows. After a call, they accommodated over 50 kids and adults. Their service was excellent. To take on such a large group at such short notice made our challenging situation less stressful! Thank you! Royal City Youth Balllet

What an amazing experience. The best service we have ever had at a restaurant. It wasnt overly busy, they were friendly and great with the kids. Our waitress was amazing with all of the kids orders and made our stay so enjoyable! I feel like driving out to Duncan from Victoria just to have this amazing service again. Carry out order was wrong. Have been trying to call back for 10 minutes and the phone just rings.... 20 minutes later, Ive tried calling 20 times, let it ring until call is cut off or it clicks and says Memory Full. Terrible service. Definitely the worst way to run a restaurant that does take out. Will not recommend to anyone, and will tell people not go there, if they cant even be bothered to pick up a call from a customer, who they got the order wrong.... WILL NOT BE BACK.

What is it with Boston Pizza in Duncan. They is no sauce in the lasagna. Its all noodles and cheese. Worst ever

Great service. Just a bit surprised that no staff were wearing masks when most who entered wore masks including kids.

The food was good but they were understaffed which resulted in slow service.

We decided we wanted to just go for Boston Pizza, and this was on the way home. However, the service was kind, fast, and exactly on point. Didnt get anything different than our usual pastas, but the speed and taste was just wonderful.

It was slaw and its sesm that the servers where really busy on the cell phone . Floor was really dirty , food was just ok

One of my favourite spots for lunch in town. Large restaurant, usually not too busy. Lunch specials are all very reasonable and you cannot beat pasta Tuesday. My favourite pizza, absolutely perfect everytime. Cold drinks, fast/friendly service and lots of Tvs. What more could you ask for? Edit: Couple less enjoyable experiences as of late.

Pasta Tuesday

I was there today with my bestue for my birthday lunch. We had a salad with breaded chicken two cheeses cucumber tomatoes bacon and pecan nuts with ranch dressing. People you have got to go here. Yummy for sure. Best salad I have had in a long time. PEOP THIS IS A MUST GO AND SEE FOR YOURSEKF. Great service sanitizer they wear masks.

i just ordered dinner from these asshats and my card was declined when i have over 600 dollars in my account check your debit machine genius.

Ordered a meal from this place expecting the usual quality and service unfortunately the order came cold and missing salad dressing,dipping sauce and the sandwich had onions that were requested to be taken off! Called into the store and was continually talked over and was told there is lots of delivers so basically to bad and there was nothing they can do but will call the driver not sure what his role would have in this disgraceful quality of food. The management is completely unhinged I asked for a refund and the driver can come get this disgusting food if they choose to, the management started yelling and threatening us and stated he will deal with us later! Whatever that meant. So no refund no apology from either staff or management and a lesson learned stay away from this place its not what it used to be so this pic shows what 45.00 will get you now.
