Under the old ownership best pizza in town. Recently underwhelming not worth the premium price they charge.

Best gluten free crust that i have had, hands down! ...and the toppings were generous..baked to perfection!

Glad they reopened, pizza was really good. Bring back the fajitas!

The wife and I both thought the pizza was absolutely delicious, service was good, and a nice atmosphere with a booth right next to the window.

One of my favourite restaurants in town! The gyros, zucchini sticks, tiramisu, and Mediterranean salad are my favourites!

Ordered a 2 for 1 pasta. They forgot the garlic bread, and the pasta was disgusting. No meat or cheese in my lasagna. Bunk !! Not going back

Good pizza

We waited for our food for over an hr and a half . We are totally understanding of the struggles when a business is short staffed , we patiently waited for our food and our waiter was awesome , he did his best considering the circumstances; when food finally arrived it was cold but still delicious! Unfortunately we won t be back due to the manager/owner . Management is unorganized , as we had booked this table long in advance , and called the night before to confirm . When she came to us for an explanation her attitude stunk , acted like we were an inconvenience and was very agitated . I watched her throughout the night and she really didn t seem helpful as her staff is overwhelmed and scrambling all over the restaurant. It is no wonder she is short-staffed I m sure glad I don t work for her and feel bad for the staff that do . It sucks we had such a bad experience with the manager/owner because we really loved the food . Good job to the rest of the staff there last night who rocked it ! Hope you all find better jobs soon , you all worked very hard last night.

My wife and I dropped in for an early supper. I had a Mediterranean Pizza and my wife had Bow Tie pasta. The food and service was EXCELLENT!! Food

Sorry it was so bad . It needed a review. Service was good but thats it. Ordered Gyros. It was like it was taken out of the freezer and left in a dehydrator for an hr. It was literally so tough you could snap the meat in half. On top of the ground outside the building were horrible . Also large clay pots that once held plants are now full of garbage . This place needs new management.

Fantastic food and great service the last time. TODAY not so much. The avocado shrimp salad was pathetic. My wife and a guest ordered. One needed a magnifying glass to find the shrimp. Canned shrimp not fresh as it should have been. Mostly greens with very little other ingredients. Sadly we usually have good meals. Today was our first disappointment.

Fresh decor, attentive, pleasant server, terrible lunch. Asked the server for a recommendation between the vegetarian lasagna and the fish and chips. Fish and chips was the choice given in a mostly Italian restaurant. Would have been delicious if the fish batter was crispy and the fried not battered which actually made them dry. More cooking skills would substantially increase customer satisfaction and business revenue. All the best.

Supper with my wife , our first time back since their reopening . Ordered the med Medium Romeo s special pizza , it came in a timely manner and was delicious , our server was great also. We will definitely be back. It was a little noisy but it was supper time Food

Im writing to share my experience at this restaurant this evening. I was very disappointed with the service I received for a pick-up order. Can you believe that? Upon picking up the order, I discovered that a gyros wrap was missing. This is not the first time items have been missing, and its becoming a recurring issue. I had to inconvenience myself by driving back to get my wrap despite leaving a $20 tip on a $160 tab. When I asked to speak to the manager, the girl at the front had an attitude, letting me know she was busy. She then proceeded to do something else. She didnt even pretend to say something along the lines of, Ill go to the back and let her know. Where do you find these servers? She should not be in the front serving customers. I understand that mistakes can happen, but her service level was unacceptable. I would not recommend your restaurant for pick up or delivery orders as I guarantee, something will be missing.

The place was nice, staff friendly and quick. Order a meat pizza to share was very good. We had enough for dinner as well. Price was reasonable. Parking: Lots of parking behind the building. Kid-friendliness: Seemed kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: They had a ramp going from upper to lower level floors, doors were 2ife enough.

Food was burnt, took forever, and almost inedible. The lasagne tasted like spaghetti in a can with no cheese, burnt, and hard all at the same time. The chicken parm was sweet?, burnt, and the chicken was a green color. The worst food I ve ever seen! I would give it 0 stars if I could.

RUN!! DO NOT EAT HERE! This was literally the worst food that I have ever eaten. The lasagne tasted like someone had opened a can of Chef Boyardee and poured it over noodles and smothered it in plain cheese. It wasnt even Italian cheese! It was the nastiest thing I have ever eaten! The Chicken Parm was disgusting and burned! The breading also had something sweet in it with some sort of green seasoning and over cooked dry chicken with the nastiest sauce that I have ever eaten poured all over it! REALLY people? How do you sleep at night serving food like that and OVER CHARGING FOR IT TO BOOT! The Greek Gyro was equally as Nasty with hard dried out old meat in it!!! This place should just shut down and stop torturing people! A 5 year old could do a better job!

WOW !!my dad was is a red seal chef and I can tell this place lives up to there standards ! I come every week and get my 2 pizzas cheesecake and my garlic butter and every time I do the pizza gets better and better this place is the best pizza hands down. THE STAFF IS ALL AMAZING AND THE OWNERS ARE EVEN COOLER DEFINITELY GIVES U THAT FAMILY PIZZA PLACE VIBE LIKE EVERYBODY WORKING THERE IS FAMILY AMAZING PLACE AND FOOD WONT GET MY PIZZA ANYWHERE ELSE THATS FOR SURE.! all there ingredients are all high end and expensive not cheap out like most places do the sauce let me tell u about the sauce lol :) u can telll it s made with Roma tomatoes if u know your foods that s hands down the best tomatoes and expensive (small) u can use for a sauce but I can tell they do here I ve had some places do it outta a can that s it but with these guys u can tell this is homemade sauce at least the tomato s are they use are the best of the best ingredients and it shows in the pizza. Dine in or take out Romeos delivers a variety of fabulous pizzas with locally sourced produce for their toppings. Other items on the menu include pastas spaghetti steak and more. Traditional Italian recipes passed down through generations, ask for the Romeo Special ... delicious!

I used to like Romeo s but now that it s open again, I wasn t impressed. The food was mediocre at best, I asked for no tomatoes and I got at least half a tomato in my wrap. Our waiter was the worst, didn t seem like he knew much at all, super forgetful and strange behaviour. I think the receipt said his name was Kostos ?

We had an excellent experience at Romeo s last night for Mother s Day. Kudos to the staff who prepared and served a fantastic meal and experience . We will be back

The waitess was awesome. Unfortunately, the ribs were awfully dry, and there was no taste to the Alfredo sauce. Wheelchair accesible at the main door does not exist. The front door is extremely heavy to open even for an able body person. The new owner thinks its not her problem and was very dismissive. We wont be going back to this restaurant ever. No empathy or compassion. Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic door. Suggested to knock on rear door. Can you imagine knocking and someone opening the door if they hear you. and the door hitting you. They have no idea.

Had lunch Sunday and it was the worst Fish and Chip Ive ever had.

We ordered the large Romeos special pizza. We were very happy with the pizza. They have changed the intior & made it brighter.

Horrible service, we were ignored most of the night our server was the owner and he spent 75% of the time talking to the people at 1 table ignoring the rest of the customers, by the time we got our food we had waited over 30 minutes because there pasta oven was broken which they told us after we received our food, and every time the server walked past us he would look the other way. EDIT: we warned a friend about this and they apparently had a similar experience

Tbh I dont see what all the hype is about... We tried this place after hearing locals talk about how good it was. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and some other toppings, but I had to have it remade without the pepperoni because it was just too nasty to eat. It was under the cheese which made it soggy and it tasted like old ground up ham and was slimy and full of gristle. The waiter said they get a lot of complaints about it apparently, so beware of ordering their pepperoni. I dont get why they dont just change their recipe since its obviously homemade. Bad choice. And I cant speak highly of the remake either. It was pretty much cheesebread with like a thimble full of sauce on the whole pizza, and it barely tasted like anything. The crust was also kind of burnt, like they left it in the oven too long. I still ate it, but I was very underwhelmed. Might try again, but I am definitely ordering something different next time. Roundabout has way better pizza. #SorryNotSorry Lol

2nd time with new ownership. Horrible service with delivery and takeout and Management were rude. Take out, ordered by phone, got quote, at p/u Pizza was almost $10 more. I was quoted wrong price because person was new. No apology, just excuses.

Food was great. Server was awesome My only complaint I could say is about the closing time but really its not bad closing at 8pm. We were just enjoying ourselves there. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a level entry from the sidewalk and the raised areas are accessible by the ramps inside the restaurant.

Since their reopening, weve ordered quite a few times.. every time weve had take out, theyve screwed up orders. Management is quite abrasive and unwilling to assist with incorrect orders. When asked why there was literally 6 pieces of meat on a meat lovers pizza, the response was meat is expensive, you know.. what the heck kind of answer is that!?

We order from here almost weekly. The service is always friendly and the food is delicious. Pizza pasta nachos chicken wings garlic bread and fajitas were all amazing. I would recommend to anybody wanting quality food and friendly services. Easily feeds my large family. Dietary restrictions: They have options for those with gluten allergies and dairy issues. Amazing

Terrible pizza. Over priced and no toppings. 30$ for a small 10 is insane especially when it has little to no toppings. The host told me he was hung over and gave me advice to never to show up to work hung over.and complained about working to his manager. Bad customer service. Over priced and terrible pizza. Never going back I dont get why I got recommended this place. Id rather go to Boston Pizza or even panago over Romeos. Also heard the staff swearing and arguing while I was waiting for my food. Not a good time. I gave a tip when I should not have. The host didnt deserve a tip. He just complained about his job the entire time. No wonder why they are not open for dine in. The atmosphere of the place is just sad.

Less than 1 star. Ordered this week, have eaten at Romeo s in Victoria many times. Duncan Romeo s was horrible. Great people but the pizza was a 0 star experience. I threw it out. Burger pizza tasted like a chicken dinner. How does that happen? Never again.

Went there for Dinner on Valentines day. Thank goodness we had a reservation. My husband ordered a starter Ceasar salad. Said it was one of the best hes ever had. Our food was delicious, the staff were amazing, even though it was packed. Never had to flag anyone down to refill our drinks, because our server was so awesome! Will definitely be going back. Thank you for a wonderful nights Romeos!

The service was fantastic, top notch. It s the food that brings my rating down. Went for Valentine s Day, first time at Romeo s in over 30 yrs. The appy of mushrooms Neptune was the best thing we had. The chicken parmesan was as if they had poured tomato soup over it then baked it with mozzarella, it seriously had zero flavor. The fettuccine Alfredo seemed to have chewy noodles, and not much flavor. My spouse had chicken souvlaki, which was dry and just not great. To be fair we have not tried the pizza here and we will give it one more try for pizza.

I love Romes pizza, and its well done here. But the general restaurant cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. My dish was not properly clean, the menus were greasy and legit gross. The bathrooms were not maintained. The waiter was nice and pleasant enough, but I dont want to have the loudest thing in the restaurant be gossip/bs talk between employees. It just felt unprofessional and terrible for customer atmosphere. Romeos used to be a nicer place.

Im over from the mainland visiting my family and my sister ordered pizza twice while I was here. It was absolutely perfect both times!! We are all so happy Romeos has reopened! Cant wait to have it in the restaurant!Nice to see some familiar faces!

Vegetarian lasagna was one of the best Ive had, it was scrumptious! The noodles and everything about it was yummy! The young fellow who served me was top notch as well.

Awful customer service - The manager is one of the rudest people I have ever come across in the service industry.

Order a pizza about a month and half ago. It was wrong. I phone in talk to the manager she says fair enough we will give you a free pizza next time. End of conversation. Phone up a month and half later sorry no your credit is only good for 30 days. The manager should have told you. Great sorry your meal was wrong but Thanks for your money.

I have made a delivery order twice from Romeo s. On both occasions they made mistakes in my order. The first order was placed over the phone, the second online. The second time I called to rectify the situation & politely let the staff know my order was not right and an item forgotten. The person on the phone yelled at me and asked several times Do you understand!!? in relation to using their online ordering system. They remade my order and delivered it, at no charge. But it was wrong again and they forgot the same item from my order a second time. Poorly done Romeo s.

The pizas here are phenomenal. Would definitely suggest this to my friends and relatives.

So again i try and again cant get my order right and came with two pastas on top of my burger and ordered fries and gravy and got ketchup . when i order out i want fries and gravey that was charged for ...i ask just credit me the fries and gravy ...manager only credits gravy says she is sending gravy ..what good is gravy hour after you get fries .

I would give five stars but your lasagna needs help. It was a greasy hot mess with no flavor. Lasagna needs help Romeos. Need to add layers, ricotta cheese, vegetables, less red sauce. Make traditional Italian lasagna.

This isnt a 5 star gourmet restaurant but it deserves a great rating for its fresh and tasty food, cleanliness and great service. Fantastic family restaurant. I hear the pizzas are the best! I had wings and they tasted like house made not prepackaged and a really nice fresh spinach salad.

Super friendly customer service. From ordering to picking up. The service was fantastic. However, the food is lacking in flavour and taste. The chicken wings were dry, and sad. We had honey garlic and sweet Thai chilli wings, which we were super excited about and the sweet Thai chilli wings had zero taste. Just plain chicken wings, either someone forgot to do their job or those are the weakest wings we ve ever had. Now let s get to the pizza. Maui Luau- This pizza was loaded up. It had a great crust, and decent taste. However, it lacked the teriyaki taste which they claimed it would have. But a an alright pizza. Meat lovers- This pizza was the one I was looking forward to. Nothing beats a delicious meat lovers pizza, while watching the final series of the Stanley Cup. This pizza however, fell short on what a meat lover is. The Italian sausage was weak in that beloved sharp kick it should have. Not sure what kinda of pepperoni they use. But it made me think that they don t know quality when it comes to ingredients. Pepperoni- We ordered the this pizza because it s my mother in-laws favourite pizza, and to me it tells you a lot about a pizza place. If they make a solid classic pepperoni. However, with great disappointment. This pizza was beyond greasy and they most have used the same pepperoni as the meat lovers cause it too was bland. For the cost of what this place charges for pizza and wings. I would avoid it and spend your money at a papa Johns or even a panago s. You ll get way more quality for your money. Will not be ordering again.

Food was delish! Had the souvlaki and it was excellent. Our waitress was great, refilling drinks and checking in on us. Will definitely be back as we really enjoyed the food and service. Only thing is the hydrangeas and other decor were really dusty. Dust webs from one piece of decor to the other. It really needs an extreme dusting.

If i could leave 0 stars i would. Ordered two pizzas . .recieved a box of MUSH. Should be able to not only pick up a piece...but it should keep its shape and have the toppings stay on the pizza. If extra toppings affect the recipie i would think it would be cooked longer to maintain the quality and integrity. Took the pizza back it was so bad then the best part of this experience was when the owner decided to come out and actually argue with me and tell me there was nothing wrong literally the worst pizza Ive ever had and also the worst customer service Ive ever had as well.

Excellent food, the pizza is loaded with real cheese. I was worried I could never find a place that was as good as my hometown childhood pizza joint; but this is awesome. The baked pasta is great too. They have a med pizza gluten free crust and it is pretty good. Becoming allergic to gluten has broken my heart as I have had to let go of the homemade pasta here.

I am a very long time customer who orders very frequently, and always received delivery without an issue, today, I called to order dinner after having a very intense surgery that has rendered me unable to drive to come pick it up and was told that your delivery drivers will not come and deliver anything, and that I should figure out someone else to come and get it for me or cancel the order you can see how this would be a little unpleasing after spending 12 hours in surgery and sitting at home trying to get comfortable and then being told that no you won t deliver it to me when you have them delivered to me lots and that I should cancel the order pretty awful customer service .

I had a terrible server, she(Eialeen) needs to retire. I told her that I was ordering to dine in and that I was going to order pasta to take home. She said let me know 10 mins before and I will put your order in. When I was ready to go, I had changed my mind on the take out but I had not been able to get her attention to place my order but now to not order the pasta to take home. When I FINALLY did get her attention, she said in a huffy and puffy tone I already put the order in. This was my 1st time here and probably my last. These guys have such low reviews compared to a lot of restaurants in Duncan, even A&W and Subway has higher reviews, THAT right there should tell you something. The seats in the restaurants are ripped. The bathrooms were clean.

So sad, just went to purchase $200 worth of gift certificates as a Christmas present. However, I was informed I need to come back in an hour for it to be able to be issued to me. Unfortunately I m not able to come back so now I ve had to go to another restaurant and purchase a gift certificate from them.

We went on a day we re they were very understaffed, with only one server working. It was AMAZING anyways! The server worked incredibly hard, was prompt with refills even as he ran around, and the food tasted great. Will return next time we re in town.

A wonderful lunch. We enjoyed our date lunch sharing pizza and beer. The service was great and the food was perfect. The other Romeos restaurants in Victoria have been updated to a modern style decor, where this one remains more Mediterranean authentic, and reminded us of visits years ago. A must for pizza lovers.

I have always loved the Duncan Romeos. The interior is beautiful, and they make great pizza!

Very busy on the Sunday before Christmas but the staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was good. Absolutely love the decor. Prices were decent.
