The smash burger is awesome, will not disappoint. Im eating the single patty and I was impressed by the weight of the burger, thinking he must have thrown another patty on there. The owner was incredibly kind and even came out and offered a small side of fries free of charge just to try them out. First time visiting MADEATS, and I will definitely be coming back to support good business like this! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing food!! Max has always been someone who made great hot dogs, so seeing him achieve his food truck with great food and people to work with is amazing!!! The chicken burger was absolutely delicious, super filling, a real chicken breast breaded and deep fried to perfection with a sweet but spicy sauce, the fries were to die for!!! Surprisingly better then costcos ;)
Mad Eats catered an event for me, and absolutely THREW DOWN the best burgers any one of us have ever eaten. I cannot recommend this spot enough, it was so reasonable and excellent to work with for the event and unbelievably delicious burgers and dogs. Would 10/10 recommend!!
With all the people claiming they do smash burgers, here’s a rare smash burger done right. Can’t believe this is just sitting in Duncan. If you want a legitimate smash burger, come here! 100% worth the trip.
Mad eats is has the best burgers in town! The smash burgers are by far the best burgers you can get in the Cowichan Valley and the chilli fries and hot dogs are amazing too! Max is so friendly and always has a smile on his face when serving.
Let me start out by saying that I am a hamburger purist and smashburgers are my favorite type. Max here makes the best Smashburger I have had in Canada, that includes being better than mine. Max was super nice, very social and gives you value while he talks with you. Everything about this burger ticks all the boxes, toasted fresh bun, quality beef that is kissed with a great maillard reaction, seasoned properly, fresh toppings and even built in the proper order. I was making animal noises while enjoying this masterpiece. He makes batter fried fries that compliment the burger perfectly. I have to give a bonus star for having Mexican cane sugar Coca-Cola in the glass bottle too. I live about 45 minutes away from this place and I can see myself making the trip next time, I'm craving a quality Smashburger. Seriously, I was just at Hamburger America in NYC and George Motz wasn't able to deliver a burger to this standard of excellence. Props to ya Max, you got a skookum joint going there and I'll be more than happy to point peeps in your direction.
The go-to place for quality, well-priced, timely food. Whenever I get food here for lunch, my coworkers can't resist going to get something as well. Super friendly service and the online ordering makes it easy for pick-up. 6 stars!

This is the second time I got sick from the food at MAD Eats usually people deserve second chances so today I thought Id give it a try again but nope its not worth the stomach ache the puking and the Diarrhea will be spending most of my time in the bathroom now my fault for being hungry and thinking the food would be good this time but i shouldve just kept driving.but anyway hopefully you will find out whats going on because mad eats use to be good at first but now its just horrible i will not attend mad eats thats okay tho.you still have people going there maybe I just have a weak stomach but have a good day.

Best burger and fries in town burger is perfectly balanced and the fries are battered to perfection. I used to get the hot dogs and smokies when he was first starting outside canadian tire in 2016/17 and he has only gotten better since if you are coming through town or are looking for bomb food theres no better place
Super friendly guys and killer food
Stopped on the way to Tofino. I ordered the veggie burger and it was delicious. The rest of my group got the hotdogs and they said they were very good. The poutine was delicious and the large can easily be shared by four adults.

Amazing cheese burger, had such fresh well put together flavours and condiments. Best French fries hands down I ve ever ate. Was made to perfection if you ask me! This is a must visit lunch spot, ample amount of parking, super easy access in & our, has tents w tables and chairs, little play hockey area for kids. Max & his staff are killing it! Keep it up I ll definitly be back
Been going here for a couple years and his service and food are amazing, always smiling and always doing his best. It all started with the huge smokies and an insane amount of quality condiments. But NOW HE HAS SMASH BURGERS nobody does real smash burgers around here and these are top knotch, grilled to absolute perfection! Foodgasm quality 12/10. Support this man and his dream he deserves it.
You know when youre a kid and things taste great when cuz everythings new? These guys are cranking out childhood burgers. Like, if you know what the psychological concept of an archetype is, youll know what I mean when I say this is my archetypal burger. 6 out of 5 stars Food

The poutine is amazing! Cheese curds that held shape but also offered stingy mess, nice dark flavorful gravy, fries that remained crispy till the last bite. And.... Chipotle sauce available to add!

All the food is delicious! I usually go for the hot dogs and all the amazing toppings offered!
We ordered food there today, they totally forgot our order and served 5 people ahead of us. Also, saw the cook eating while making others food and pushing down garbage with bare hands (not washing hands afterwards or wearing gloves) and touching food after.

Delicious dogs, probably one of my favourite places to stop for a bite. Love the topping options, you can create some real masterpieces here. Not to mention the fantastic customer service, very chill and down to earth. Go see for yourself! You might get a sweet sticker too!

Best hot dogs and service in the valley
The food is great, good size portions. My brother and I got two hotdogs the other day on Saturday on the long weekend and we couldnt finish one so today Tuesday we split one and it was still a good eating portion. Definitely will be coming here for lunch more often during my job in Duncan

I can t believe this place exists! Talk about amazing! Such a treat. I m ecstatic. The options are amazing and made on the spot. Not to mention the terrific customer service. Literally made my day. Great energy from the owner. Definitely recommend and will do my best to return everytime I m passing through Duncan.

Never left a Google review before but this place really deserves some lines. Today we had the best hot dog (Smokie) and onion rings ever. The burger and poutine were superb as well. The food truck is run by a hard-working chef who s damn good at what he s doing and super friendly to his customers. We left full and happy. To anyone on Vancouver Island: This please isn t just worth a detour it s worth a journey. And we came all the way from Berlin. Hope to be back some day.

Great hot dogs with all the fixings. Super location right between Can Tire and Walmart. Plenty of parking and some outdoor seating to boot. Pro tip : get the large dog with bacon and cheese.
Had two dogs, one chili and nacho cheese, one loaded up. Delicious! Properly cooked, steamed bun, absolutely fabulous.

At Mad Eats you will find a Hot Dog Stand with atmosphere. The guy here is like a DJ/hot dog connoisseur. He is also the friendliest DJ/ hot dog stand guy Ive ever met. I am definitely coming back for more.
