This place is a MUST, the food was absolutely delicious, the customer service is awesome and its the cutest place ever with lots of fun anime decorations and a trendy and clean interior. Definitely a new regular

I always come here with my dad and he has been to Japan many times and says it s pretty authentic! My favourite part is definitely the broth (I always get the miso ramen!) and the bubble tea is very good ( I always get the lavender milk tea) overall I love neko ramen and it s a nice tradition for me and my dad! P.S service is amazing ( they are very nice!)

In 2018 I visited Japan and fell in love with Ramen. Last Month I discovered Neko Ramen. Tastes just like homeland Japan Ramen. Ive eaten almost once a week since Ive discovered Neko Ramen. Sometimes I will order a 2nd bowl because it is so good. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps

I dont post reviews often, or ever, but this one definitely deserves it. From the get go, we were greeted by a warm smile, courtesy of Midori-san. The place smelled nice, the ambiance music was relaxing and we were taken care of right away(granted me and my kids were the only ones present at the time). We were given a perfect balance of service and time to decide what we wanted. I paid and our meals were delivered promptly within 5 -10 minutes tops. Midori-san made sure we had everything we needed including proper utensils for the kids and chopsticks for me. Now for the food... Oh my god! A Thick rich hot (but not too hot) broth, perfectly cooked and super tender slices of chashu pork, firm and filling homemade noodles nicely presented with an assortments of bok-choy cabbage, soft boiled egg and slices of seaweed. It was everything I was hoping for and then some. My kids thoroughly ate their own meal and the portion was just right. At some point, my youngest kid needed to use the washroom and I got too distracted by the food and he asked for the washroom where she, again, promptly and gently directed him. As we were finishing our meal, more customers started to pour in and midori-san greeted them with her warm smile in the same manner she received us. As we left, I proceeded to let her and Shige-san know how delicious the food was and that we will be back( and trust me, we will!). After that, Midori-san gently escorted us out, waving us goodbye from the door as we walked away from the establishment. What a perfect time. My belly, my heart and my soul were filled. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good, peaceful time with authentic Japanese ramen(and other assortments of foods) Thank you again midori-san, Shige-san.

Had to try the tan tan ramen as I became addicted after a trip to Nagoya ( ) a couple months back. So good, I ve got to go back for another bowl!

This is a gem of Duncan, my personal payday treat, and a welcoming place to try new flavours. The food reminds me of my last trip to Japan and is consistently excellent. The staff are always ready to greet you with a smile and help with the amazing selection in their menu. As my sister says It s the best ramen on the island, hands down. Vegetarian options: Many dietary options for different tastes and life styles Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of seating options for all walks and rolls of life

As much as I d love to try the ramen, and think how authentic looking and smelling really good from outside. The moment I walked into the store, my head started to hurt by some kind of STRONG CHEMICAL SMELLS and I think it s RESIN that from every pink hand paint table in store ?! Owner explain below it is their broth s smell but I m sure it s NOT base on being a Japanese and I have gone to uncountable Ramen restaurants. However to be fair, It didnt bother my friend so I guess it s just people who s sensitive to smell and toxic chemicals ? But I really wouldn t recommend this for children. It s unfortunate that I didn t get a chance to stay longer but I d still encourage everyone to try this place as it s really looking like the owner has put a lot of heart and passion into the store. (Owner can also learn better to listen to review then defend rtw)

The classic miso was a delicious bowl of full flavor ramen. The miso broth is one of the best Ive had and really is worth every bite. This is one of the hidden gems of restaurants on the island and should be had by all enjoyers of ramen.

We tried three different soups. All were amazing and we ate up every last bit. Noodles were a 10 of of 10. Will definitely come again.

Awesome place! Loved the atmosphere and the no broth dish that I had was sooo yummy! Highly recommend.

Shige and Midori provide an experience for all through their homemade noodles and broth. The concept of ordinary does not exist here. It s original. Ensure you thank them for building, making, and making the downtown core of Duncan a place to be for there foods. They care about your experience and about the quality of their food. Shige prepares these noodles every evening of everyday for daily consumption. Appreciate these self made folks and they care about your food/experience. Highly recommend.

A new favourite restaurant. A little shop that creates a great bowl of ramen. Super friendly staff and service; miso ramen looked fantastic and my traditional ramen was superb. Will definitely come back for more when I am back in Duncan!

Nothing recommended, I ate the miso ramen and the truth is I could only eat two bites because I didnt like it, neither me nor my husband. The ramen literally only had 2 broccoli and two slices of carrot, the pasta was overcooked. Sadly we will never return.

Absolutely amazing

The aesthetic is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent! One of the more dynamic restaurants in town, and I m happy they re in such a small area. We need more diversity in Duncan. Would love to see more menu offerings but what they currently have is satisfying nonetheless! Edit to respond to the owners: No worries! We love you anyways, keep doing what you do, the community supports you.

Always amazing!

I really didn t enjoy my time here, maybe I had a one off experience because when reading the reviews other people seem to have enjoyed themselves, but I won t be returning. The food was kinda terrible, I had the miso ramen, the dumplings, and a bubble tea, and I was extremely disappointed. The dumplings tasted like someone added unseasoned ground beef in a bland rapper, and called it a day The only good thing about the ramen was the pork (very tender), but the broth was okay, and the noodles tasted gummy. Now the bubble tea was bad, the tapioca pearls tasted undercooked, a little chewy, but then hard in the centre. Sadly the tea tasted like sugar water. Overall just a very disappointing experience, and I felt I ll afterwards.

This is the best spot in town to get ramen! The restuarant is small but very cute and welcoming. The noodles are fresh and the food is very consistent in flavor/portions. I have eaten here many time already and will continue to go back!!

I come here often for their delicious vegan ramen and bubble tea. Its a very unique place, the owners put a lot of love into it. They hand make both the noodles and the pearls for the bubble tea. So authentically delicious!!!! Made by the very talented owner with hand made ramen and broth. He goes above and beyond with imported traditional ingredients and so much care into his dishes. Not only is it the best I ve ever had, but a friendly ambience with a side of cleanliness. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Horrible establishment with disgusting service, I was quite excited to Check this new place out, so I stopped in today with a friend and I was gonna buy us both a bowl so I sat down and looked at the menu while my friend used the washroom I realized I d be two bucks. Short of two bowls I only had 26$ on me so I sincerely apologized as I felt really bad because the washroom is only for customers and the guy (owner I think) yelled at me and said Never come back here again!!
