Subway in Duncan

Ordered here a few times and every time the bun is super dried out like they left them with the door open all day.

Bread stale and tomato mushy. Do they even still use the eat fresh slogan anymore? If youre in Cowichan Commons and you just want something quick, the Triple Os next door is much better.

We were in and out pretty quickly. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Our bread was incredibly flaky and messy when toasted but thats typical lol. Parking lot is weird but it was a pretty great location overall. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. Kid-friendliness: They offer smaller sandwich meals for littles!

This is a well-kept shop. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The place was spotless. The staff were friendly, and we were acknowledged right away upon entering the store. Vegetarian options: Lots of options including salad/power bowls. Parking: Massive shared lot perfect for an RV/trailer stop. Kid-friendliness: Bright, spacious, I think I saw booster chairs. Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry.

You have the cleanest resturant in Canada. You should be proud of your staff. Keep up the good work! Parking: You have to wander a bit to find it near Home Depot.

Bread was stale. There was a fly in amongst the bread. Gross!

I love this Subway. I always choose this one over the other. They are always friendly and always remember me.

A+ on the sandwich making but waiting 20 minutes while three people wait for the person ordering to make up their mind isnt efficient.

I found the employee to be quite rude he seemed to be put off right from the start of my order. He rang up my order after impatiently putting my sub together and walked away, not even seeing if my payment went through or offering me my receipt I stood there for a bit and finally just grabbed my sub and left I highly doubt I ll ever return to the Drinkwater location

The older fellow in subway was rood kept making faces and did not want to be there when asked to put a little more he gets upset then when asked for Mayo he just kept dumping the Mayo on he should not be working with the public

Im having to change my review of this particular Subway. Ever since Ive started using the app to order ahead my order has never been right. Today..it was botched so badly I had to throw it away. Asked for ceaser sauce and instead was given the sweet onion sauce....IM ALLERGIC TO ONIONS. Couldnt salvage it and had to throw it away. Would have brought it back but was heading out of town. This was the last time Im ordering from this particular Subway ever.

Waited for about 35 minutes while they made 3 sandwiches. Slowest subway Ive ever seen. Then we get to the counter and spare parts grabs flat bread. We did t want flat bread. That spare parts employee didnt bother to put a sign on the door or tell anyone that they have no bread. Thanks for wasting my time I will not be coming back.

My girlfriend and I felt sick after eating here. Over 20 dollars for a 12 and a 6. The bread was chewy.. who knows how old it was? The meat was soggy and tasteless, and the workers put on way too much sauce. This place has gone downhill ever since the old employees got laid off and quit

I was very disappointed in the service at this location. I ordered in the app ahead of time so it would be ready when I arrived. When I got there they hadnt even started making my order. One of the staff was arguing with another while I was inside waiting. And they served 4 customers that arrived AFTER I had. I will not be using this location again.

Five stars! Staff were friendly and the service was speedy. The restaurant is very clean and the ingredients are always fresh. There is room to sit down and enjoy your meal. I would say this Subway location is a bit better than the other Subway location by the Dairy Queen in Duncan. I dont know if youd be picking between one or the other, but if you are, choose this one. Theres not quite as much seating but its better overall.

My sub was great however the person making it seemed to be unable to hear me behind the plexiglass barrier.

Horrible service. Employee had headphones in and could barely hear us, got all 3 orders wrong even after we corrected him over 5 times. Found onions and jalapenos in one of the sandwiches when none of the sandwiches were ordered with them. Other employee just sat in the back doing nothing when there was other people waiting in line. Ended up charging us too much too because he marked one sandwich as a different sandwich. Never going to this location again.

No roast beef. Servers had strong ethnic E I language.

Every single one of the workers except maybe one of them is SLOW. If there are 2 customers already in the store then don t bother wasting your lunch break.

Went to the Subway at the Duncan Common Mall and asked for 3 footlong cold cut combos and he had one going and then got all the stuff on it and then realized he put all 3 meats on one sub so he thinks he can just take the meat from that sub for the other 2 sibs even thou that one sub already has ingredients on and sauce I said no way that you can do that and the person totally thought it was alright. I said first of all the other 2 subs dont like sauce and some of these toppings plus cross contamination I said please just toss that one sub away with all the meat and start 2 new ones he finally did that after another attempt to put the meat from the one sub on the other subs. Then finally we pay and we leave the store to realize we have more food then we ordered so we went back in and said this cant be ours and the guy then washes his hands opens up the 2 subs and says yes these are her subs but with those subs was our cookies it was crazy. At the end the lady got her food and we finally got our food and we all left. So not impressed with how this was handled at all.

Worst experience of my entire life. Worst service Ive ever seen. Complete disregard of what I ordered. The woman who took my order could not even speak English and I will never go back.

The people here are very friendly and quite often come and get the door for me if they are not too busy (I use a wheelchair), the only problem I have is the place is a bit small and tight for wheelchairs it is doable but like I said it can be a little tight.

Food was fresh, there was very little meat in my smoked honey mustard chicken and bacon. They forgot the bacon, I had to ask where it was.

Okay so this happened awhile ago, but Im still pretty miffed about it. Ive literally never ran into any issues ordering food from anywhere in my life, and I dont know who this guy was, but he was the absolute rudest server Ive ever seen. He made a mistake, and almost charged us double for our order, and when we were attempting to correct it, he openly snickered and laughed at us. It was so bizarre, and Ive literally never gone back because of that guy. He was rude, and condescending not only to me, but my mother as well. I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience at any other restaurant honestly, at least not nearly to this magnitude. I dont know if he still even works there, but if he does he absolutely shouldnt.

subway is good and they are decent here and fast not bad for lineups as some subways are a very long line at noon this one seems to have it down to a art as there is no waiting in line.

Of the Subway locations in town this one is the most consistent, freshest, and friendliest. It can get slow when they have new staff but they always seem to get them up to speed quickly.

Horrible time worker name keeqan was looking at me the whole time, messy and his shoes were a mess vans are you joking! Why do they let their workers wear slippers. I dont know why i bother leaving a review, but anyways back to the story. Once upon a time there was a basic lvl don. He worked very slow and looked like bob the builder and had the face of mario and smelt luke rotten cheesie feet Yours truly bob Dont take this personally

I came in last Sunday night and order a sub and Blake made the sub perfect and so perfect just the way I like my subs

I went in Saturday night, and Blake helped me. The service was fast and he is very nice during the making of my sandwich, great at making conversation and also the other employee Keegan? I thank you for having such a nice staff.

Not quite as good as the other Duncan location. But much better then the Chemainous, Lake Cowichan or Shawnigan Lake locations.

Jipped me for 9 freaking dollars in change. Never using cash ever again. Cashiers need to learn to count obviously

Wonderful

2nd time here since moving to the island. The two young men working tonight were there both times we came in. Alex and Travin (sorry if spelt wrong). Both boys have excellent customer service skills, very friendly, great sense of humor and very quick service. Nice to see from this generation. Very valuable employees.
