The food is delicious and portions are generous. Service is very good.

Food was ok, nothing too special, just ok. The attitude of the people at the register on the other hand was abysmal.

The focus is on high-quality, regional ingredients that are creatively and carefully processed into modern dishes. For the starter we chose the sweet potato soup and the beetroot salad. The soup was creamy and deliciously flavorful with a touch of ginger that gave it a wonderful depth. The salad with fresh beetroot, goat cheese and walnuts was also a delight - perfectly balanced and light, but with intense flavors. For the main course we chose the house specialty, the slow-braised lamb with rosemary and garlic potatoes, as well as the vegetarian pumpkin risotto. The lamb was so tender that it literally melted in your mouth, and the flavors were perfectly balanced - a perfect composition. The risotto, served with pumpkin puree and fresh herbs, was creamy, rich and had just the right texture. The desserts also deserve special praise. We tried the homemade chocolate mousse and the lemon tart. The mousse was wonderfully airy and chocolaty, while the tart was perfect with an intense citrus aroma and crispy base - the ideal end to a great meal. The service was the icing on the cake of the evening: friendly, attentive, and with noticeable enthusiasm for the food. You can tell that there is a passionate team at work here that strives to offer every guest a special experience. The Green Leaf Bistro is a pearl that I can recommend to anyone who loves fresh, creative cuisine and appreciates a relaxed atmosphere. Its definitely worth a visit - well definitely be back!

The first time we ate here we tne food was delicious. This time we ordered take out and it was not good. The veggie salad rolls came with shrimp in them and the flavourless veggie spring rolls also had meat in them. The dipping sauce was runny and tasted strongly of fish sauce... Which came with the veggie meal we ordered. We were really disappointed.

If you havent discovered this gem in Duncan yet, you need to! It offers the best Vietnamese food in town. I find myself here every week or two for their pho, which is always consistent and made with real beef bones. Kiet is also hilarious!

Do Not eat here - first week having recently moved to Duncan - tried a simple Pork Vermicelli bowl... Did not sit well. Was sick for days.

This has been one of my regular spots over the last few years, everytime has been great. Food always arrives quickly, and portions are large and consistent.

Ordered the side order of beef short ribs. They were tasty and came with 3 strips of Short Ribs. Then the second time I ordered it came with only 2 strips of Short Ribs. I was quite disappointed in the inconsistency of what they serve.

Best pho in town!

I ordered the Grilled pork patty salad rolls. They were huge. Filled with lettuce, 2 small carrot strips and noodles that were brown to mimic the colour of pork. There was no pork patty. A few shreds of dry shredded pork were tossed in. So disappointing !! We used to love this place pre Covid. Won t be going back again.

We ordered an upon noodle soup, salad wraps, and lemon grass chicken (vermicelli stir fry) for take out, it was took less than 10 minutes to make! The soup came divided into noodle, broth and veggies so nothing was soggy when we ate it (delicious). The salad rolls were very big, and justify the 10$ for 2 easily. The lemongrass chicken was my favourite, 10/10.

Ordered some delivery though door dash and was blown away by the flavours and quality of the food we got! Our dasher unfortunately forgot the soup, so we had to go pick it up, but we didn t mind because it was close. The man even included a second soup for our trouble! He suggested ordering directly through them next time to save some money which was a welcome suggestion. This place is such a hidden gem in the valley. The Tom Yum soup was OUTSTANDING, so flavourful and generous portions of seafood and veg. We also really REALLY enjoyed the fried wontons and marinated pork chop/ fried egg rice plate as well as the lemongrass chicken. Truly great eats here. Have never been disappointed. What a great place! Food was awesome number 73 veggie spring roll vermicelli bowl. Everyone here is very nice has a great family restaurant feel. I ll be frequenting this place during my stay in the valley. Vegetarian options: No fish sauce made my meal vegan friendly.

A disappointment. The coconut shrimp were not cleaned or deveined, and after sending them back who I would assume was the owner or manager in argued that there was only one. From the three I had, none were cleaned. The interaction left a bad taste in my mouth; no point in staying to eat.

The food came quick the serving was generous and was very tasty and fresh.

This place gives the excellent chain Green Leaf a bad name. They get NO STARS IN FOOD AND SERVICE CATEGORIES. This was the worst dining experience my friend and I have ever had. The server and owner tried to charge us for an order they made poorly, then proceeded to verbally abuse us while we tried to pay for the food we did eat. Never again.

The Pho was the best I have ever eaten. Quiet calm atmosphere with gentle kind people cooking and serving.

I was so happy to stop here and find that this restaurant offers sugar cane shrimp. It was delicious. The restaurant and washrooms were clean and the service was polite and prompt.

This place used to be a 5 star, but its different now. Been 2 times in the last while. Server came over chewing food, and had to ask my order 5 times because he wasnt listening properly. Food came out and there was a clump of uncooked noodles in the middle of my soup. No refund because no boss, no refund. Im very sad because this place used to be my favorite to go with my group of friends, but we will no longer be going. I still remember the youuur welcome server from a while ago, James I believe. Hopefully this restaurant will one day be good again.

My family and I have been coming to Green Leaf Bistro since they opened a few years ago and their food is absolutely delicious! It is a very typical Vietnamese restaurant with authentic dishes. Ive tried their standard pho, salad rolls, spring rolls, coconut shrimp, and lemongrass chicken dish...but my absolute favourite is the spicy beef noodle soup (#31)! Try it out if you like a kick :) We come about twice a month on average and have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Thanks for being our go-to spot when were craving a nourishing bowl of fresh pho!

Very very good Pho. Good amount of fresh meat, good broth... and the pork chop was cooked perfectly. Thin chops are often over cooked and thus hard to cut with the butter knives you get at restaurants... but they cooked it perfectly here. So far this is the best place for Pho in Duncan.

DO NOT GO VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT - horrible owner & food is gross! We had a very poor experience with hair in the food and gross soups and the owner did not even try to make it right, he just told me to leave and that he dis not believe me sad to see business owners operate like this. There are many better options out there.

Definitely get the deep fried spring rolls

Pho came super fast and piping hot with a very generous portion of jalapeño and Basil. Especially Basil! Which is of note, lots of other vietnamese places Ive been to are skimpy on the Basil. Broth was definitely quality, rare steak was generous and tender. Friendly service. I locked myself out of my vehicle and they gave me extra tea while I waited for bcaa to arrive. Ill definitely be back here for my pho fix!

Amazing service & delicious meals. We have eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants up and down the Island, this maybe or favourite!!! The flavour was intense the portions were large. We had the sour seafood soup, pho, vermicelli bowl & salad rolls. In the end we shared all the dishes as we could not choose which was the best. Our gratitude to the chef!! We will be back soon!!!!

Great deep fried wonton and chicken pho good

The fresh roll with peanut sauce was delicious. Everything went downhill after that. The ground shrimp on the cane stick was a spongy gross texture with no flavour. The shrimp and grilled chicken vermicelli was uneatable due the strong odour of gas coming of the meat. The waitress never came over to check how our meal was even though there we only two tables. When we paid I mentioned the gas smell and she went into the kitchen and said I complained. I had already paid. I was just mentioning it for the next time. Now, there will never be a next time.

Ok I ordered pho from this place based off the reviews so i was very aware of the owner but the reviews also said that the pho was amazing so I tried it, it was funny because I called in my order and he said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I show up maybe 15 minutes later and he says oh I forgot to put the order in can you sit and wait and it will be ready soon. First red flag but I sit and wait anyway but I have to say the pho with steak was excellent. The thinly sliced beef was fresh and tender. The broth was so rich in flavor and the noodles I got were thick and chewy. The homemade chili oil was top notch as well. Highly recommend this place but if you decide to dine in you may not have the greatest first experience either! Go for the food not the service lol The 4 stars are for the food only. Second red flag is I ordered 4 pho soups and it was $62 which means it was either $15 per pho or the taxes are much higher there. I did tip $10 on the to go order because I knew the food would be good based of the reviews!!!

just ordered the grossest bowl of pho i have ever seen... i got a #18 for take out, my noodles were soaking in blood uncooked, no sprouts, lime, sirracha, hosin, i have never seen my broth turn from a golden colour to blood red... there goes $30 and my appetite

My mother and I both really enjoyed our take out meals. I had the rare beef phoa, mom had lemon grass chicken. The portion sizes were large. Great flavours, fresh and authentic.

I will start this off by saying that I have never taken the time to write a poor review for a restaurant but I feel like people should hear about our experience at Green Leaf Bistro in Duncan. I understand the industry is struggling and maybe it was an off day but I was absolutely floored. Short of the long: we sent our meals back and requested the bill due to a few reasons (the worst involving a hair that came out of the nozzle of a squeeze bottle) and there was zero effort to rectify the situation. Its worth nothing that we were never checked on. I brought said hair up to the till in a napkin and requested our bill. It clearly didnt match anyone sitting at our table. We were leaving. I was shocked when we were charged full price for half eaten meals. When we disputed the bill, staff discussed without involving us in conversation. He took one of three meals off. We left hungry. Ive been in the restaurant twice. The first time was ok and the second is enough to never go back. Also, for those who care, there was no effort to check vaccination status at the door. I walked in and sat down. Should go without saying but I do not reccomend this restaurant.

Green leaf is the BEST! We order all the time. I have dined in Vic and Langford many many times over the years. Since the pandemic we order take out from Duncan quite often.
