Mandi Afandi in East York

My experience with Mandi Afandi restaurant was great, the food was nice as I expected. The staffs are friendly and the environment is very good. Note. The Washroom is very clean and smell nice. See you again and again.

The service here is exceptional, the food is excellent. I can recommend this place to anyone at anytime. Guys keep up the great service.

One of the best Yemeni restaurants in East York. Food and service was amazing! It has the traditional seating as well as tables. Food was quick and fresh. Accommodation for kids are available as well. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are far away from each other to have wheel chairs.

Great food!!

We chanced upon Mandi Afandi while crossing the area and it was such a pleasant surprise. The Chicken Madhbi & Lamb Haneedh was delicious. The meats were slow cooked, tender, juicy and smoked. The flavours took us on an immediate memory trip back to Dubai where some of the best Afghani and middle eastern food can be found. It s a taste of home away from home and an authentic experience.

Just went with my friends to this place and omggg I just got a whif of middle East. I ordered Sayadiya or in English called sea bass grilled and omg their vinegar sauce just reminded me of Egypt. I have been to other Mandi places and they were usually a hit or miss but all the dishes here were worth completely. The only thing I would ask them to improve on is their dessert menu.

Best spot for the fast and delicious lunch or dinner. Food was served hot and quick within 5 minutes of ordering. They have a very interesting collection of drinks only Arabic though. Plus the fragnance of the bakhoor just after stepping inside of store gives a very middle eastern vibes. Soniya and sanjay were very welcoming and mr. Mark was very professional . We were served by Soniya and she was so sweet. We were a group of 4 and she had us seated, order taken and food was served in a timely fashion. Great service from Mayola, first time here and we needed food for a gathering. She gave us suggestions and ended up getting the mixed platter! I wish we took a pic of it but it was amazing and our guests loved the food! Thanks mayola (sorry for misspelling your name) will be going back again! Great dishes and variety of drinks to take home. One of the best all round services. Food portions are completely worth the price and the food was very fresh and well cooked. Service was very quick and efficient even though we had a large party and multiple orders. We didn t have to wait more than 15 minutes for our order. The service was amazing with complementary items like tea, dates and soup. The servers and staff were so attentive to us through out the evening and made sure we were well taken care of. Ambiance was amazing and restaurant including washrooms were very clean and organized. Overall 10/10 for everything. Thank you guys for all your hard work and service. I ve worked in the service industry for a long time and have visited many restaurants - this by far had the best experience overall! The best ever dine in experience with the best middle eastern cuisine

I had a disappointing experience a few minutes before while dining with my family and cousins at Mandi Afandi. Upon arrival, we were served soup as a welcome gesture, but when we requested water, it was poured from a tap behind the receptionist raising concerns about its filtration. Our request for extra sauce was ignored despite promises to bring it promptly. When I shared my feedback with the staff, their response was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Overall, it was a very poor experience.

Just had Mansaf here, and it was incredible! The dish was authentic, with tender meat, perfectly cooked rice, and rich Jameed that brought everything together. The service was also excellent staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back for more!

Stopped by for some Mansaf, and wow, it hit the spot! The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the rice and Jameed brought it all together perfectly. The staff were so friendly and checked in just enough to make sure we had what we needed without hovering. Definitely coming back for another round!

Chicken musakhan is amazing!!!! Their best dish. Mandi was good but the meat didnt have much flavor. Serving size is the best!

I tried their lamb haneedh before. Looking at their brochure makes my mouth water. Their mini still has a large serving that I can share with another person or eat the half home for dinner. Check as price might be outdated.

I had an unsatisfactory experience at Mandi Afandi with my family. After placing our order, we were initially served soup, but when we requested water, it arrived late and was poured from a tap behind the receptionist. When we provided feedback, the staff responded unprofessionally, explaining that water is only provided upon request, which is unusual compared to the standard practice in most restaurants. While we were expressing our concerns, the staff conversed among themselves in their native language, which felt dismissive. Overall, the service was below expectations, leading to a frustrating experience.

This place serves delicious food, and their Zurbian is the best! The portion sizes are generous one dish is perfect for two. The staff is exceptionally courteous, and Nadima, Nagham, and Manolya were especially accommodating and generous. I love visiting here and also ordering in whenever I m in the mood for wholesome food.

This is my most favourite place to eat . Zurbian is their best dish. The meat is cooked to perfection and the rice too is so good. The table cloths are replaced for every customers and hygine in restaurant washrooms are maintained well. Couple months ago , we had bad experience with old management, but with new management it has replaced the standards .

I ordered the regular chicken plate on doordash and paid extra for a breast substitution but was sent the regular meal ( thigh + breast ) instead of 2 breasts like i ordered and paid for. the same thing happens every time i order from here and add an extra or write an order note, the store doesnt seem to read the order properly as this happens all the time. I will stop ordering from here forever.

Food came pretty quick the server we had name mariah with very courteous and very nice but there was another server named Magham who didnt serve us but yet still asked to give her review which was fine with us. We ordered khunafa and we got it very late told 5 minutes but took 20 mins and magham came to serve it to us and slammed our khunafa trays on the table when she asked if we were done giving her a review we said yeah i dont why she did that but was very rude of her! Overall it was not a good experience with staff!

Mandi Afandi on Overlea boulevard is one of our favorite places, excellent food and excellent service, friendly people. Maria is so wonderful and nice. The food was great but Maria made it more pleasant with her great hospitality. I wish I had more stars to give. Thank you Maria.
