Just came from this place for dinner with my wife and neice for dinner and found a cockroach running along our table and couldn t finish our meal which was more then half left and ask for our bill to be half off and only took off $20 and our bill still cost $90 never going back there again been go there for almost 15 years

Very friendly and cozy place that took good care of our large group of 20. Fast, efficient service. We will look forward to visiting again.

Nice local spot! Stopped in for a few drinks with the hubby on a Friday night. Patio was clean, service was fast and friendly...we will definitely be back!

Had the wings, they were great. No more half price days though, $2.00 off but you have to order a drink which works out to 2.99 and you cant order them to go which makes no sense. Anyways wings were really good

The service and food amazing... had the Philly steak... I was unsure cause of the sesame seeds but it was the best one Ive had in a very long time.

I have been here many times, and during the pandemic would order the wings and fries via UberEats. The last time I was here was last Saturday. The place is a little divey, well, a lot divey. But the wings and fries are phenomenal. Our server was super nice and welcoming. Place is always a good time.

Food and drinks were great. The restaurant was busy but there wasnt enough wait staff. Unfortunately, had to wait for drinks and food order.

Been here in the 80s 90s and 2000s and now I know why I only came once in every decade. Same rude waitress named Dora same misleading specials because they charge you extra for dips at 3 bucks a pop and if you think your getting a good deal your not because I know her regular clients are charged the same. Dora the Explorer is a scam artist at her best thats why shes been there for 30 years ripping people off.

Had two pints to meet a friend. I will be back for sure.

These are good people nice quiet bar I like this place Ive only been staying up in little Great Village for a little while and this is definitely my favorite place to relax if you dont see me again come and visit me put some money on my canteen George the fireman from up the road will tell you where I am and give you my other name . If you dont see me. It was a pleasure to have your bar as my living room so to speak thank you much love and respect

My go-to place for ordering wings for delivery. Skip the desserts as they are FAR too small for the price. Calamari is delicious. Ribs good etc. recommend for take out.

I really wanted to leave a good review but I can t. So I will leave some very pointed advice for the owner. If the owner is a woman, who wears heavy black eye make up - then this place is a direct result of her rude, aggressive and bullish attitude. Any mistake made by a waitress should NEVER come out of her pay. Any time a customer comes up to ask about the bill, NEVER swat their hands away. Do NOT touch the client - female or male. I have never been so uncomfortable in any restaurant until she came up to sort the issue. I live in the area, was looking for a nice neighborhood bar, to visit and maybe even apply at. When I sat down initially I was very hopeful and optimistic but by the end of the meal I decided I was never coming back. To be clear, my waitress - not the one with heavy heavy black eye make up - was the ONLY positive part of our visit. Soda at 2.99 should be free refills You can t charge high prices and then serve subpar food. Get real cheese - you use the CHEAPEST cheese I have ever had. Full warning to other customers, this place just isn t worth it for the cost. If they could redirect themselves towards an actual friendly affordable local pub I m sure they would be worth it, but with how it s currently being managed - AVOID. I would blame the manger for any and all bad things this place is experiencing. This place is not inviting at all.

A cool little place, been around for years. Servers were friendly and the karaoke was light and fun. The wings are delicious. The decor is a bit dated but other than that it was great the night I was there.

Dora is great! HOWEVER! The prices are absolutely insane. Not sure what the owner is doing but this place used to be a great spot to get food. Now its way overpriced for what it is. $18 for 10 wings? Thats insane. $10 for the soup of the day? Way over priced. Not impressed with the greed that seems to have taken over this place. Will definitely reconsider coming back again.

It never disappoints me, the service is fast, they are friendly, the food has good portions and the seasoning is very rich, it has a good atmosphere since there are karaoke nights, there is a pool table and several screens to watch the game that is playing, I I really like going to the restaurant, I have a great time

This place is TERRIBLY OVERPRICED and Server forgot a portion of our order Dora service was SO slow and she disappeared for about 15 mins in the kitchen I think we Had ordered a French onion soup and some extra mayo on the side of our meals and never got them . Also, we got the Cajun chicken wings and there was barely any seasoning on them they were basically plain . Fish tacos were soggy fries were not good tasted stale .

Got delivery - hair in my wings. First hair I gave benefit of the doubt - second that was baked right in - nope.

This restaurant has a racist attitude towards non-Canadians. As an Uber food driver, I came here a few days ago and a very uneducated and rude old women, instead of giving an accurate answer, spoke to me violently and in a loud voice and somehow venting her suppressed personal complexes. It is interesting that I asked other guys at the counter and none of them answered. I hope the manager or the owner of this restaurant will take action to correct their criminal behavior so that the image of the restaurant does not get worse. I advise the Uber food drivers to cancel the order from this restaurant so that they do not face these behaviors . If it was possible to give zero stars, I would definitely do so

The Wally is like stepping back a couple of decades. A collection of characters that work there, pretty decent food, good wings and service. Often filled with spots fand and local families for dinner or early sports games.

Rude, unwelcoming, and downright haunting wait-staff. Pitcher of beer had a wet nap floating in it. And according to some policy, the bill couldnt be split. At all. First time in my life where I was unable to split a 100$+ bill among 4 people. Food was great. Chicken wings were sizable and delicious. Quesadillas were good. But the rudeness alone was too spectacular for me to revisit.

Such a great place to go with your friends and have some great food and watch the game on one of the many tvs. Wings and fries are amazing with fair prices and they dont kill you on the drinks at all. The owner Dora always greats you with a smile and is great with all her customers. Truly a great local bar with fantastic food and a great atmosphere.

By far this is the best East York place for chicken wings that I have found after decade of looking. The other food on menu is good not great, but this a pub/tavern not fine dining after all. The servings are large. I have not tried their greek food yet. If you are looking for grub then The Wally will hit the spot.

We love the Wally! We have been ordering the wings and nachos during so many Fridays of the pandemic. Awesome food, great portions. We live close and love supporting our local joints.

Great wings, tough on the rules when ordering large wing order when it comes to sauce, they wont do half and half. Ordered ahead, and still had to wait. Good wings though.

Best bar in the area. Good food great staff and overall an experience to remember. Glad to see that they have survived the pandemic and I cannot wait to return soon for in person dining there but until then I will continue to order take-out. Wings are the best! Great food , great friendly staff excellnt excellent Greek salad pub food many beers to choose from with great prices. The best wings anywhere and theyre huge! Last night I had 15 wings with fires (they taste homemade btw) a side Greek salad and I loved it all! The Wally Tao &Grill has become my go-to wing place & sports game night place, with a great patio for the warmer months. I absolutely love it !

My go-to for veggies, burgers/wings and nacho platters. The staff there have always been great. Good sport event place.

Have been going here for 8 years with my friends. The food is good, but the server Dora is great. Solid sports bar, good for convo, no one constantly returning to the table or bugging you to leave.

Always a good grub at the pub, karaoke night is a great time too and you wont find a more supportive crowd in all of Toronto.

Seems like a classic bar from a different era. I was with some other people, everything I tasted was fine, but I didn t really eat much or drink anything. I feel this place has real potential for a fun night out!

The wings are absolutely perfect!! I have travelled to many places and experienced many places wings and I have to say, this place is right up there in my top 5. I look forward to my Tuesday evening wing feast usually by Wednesday morning!

Staff is the best you could hope to deal with. Its my local, they have an open functioning patio,Dora is the absolute beat, Ive had her my last 6 times Ive been, shes beyond fantastic!!!!!!! Im a chef, the foods what you expect and then more for the stupid low price point, the booze is why you go, plus the chill folks that end up there. The patio is gorgeous af,from the floral planters to the generous patio umbrellas, well worth the visit. Great industry spot. East end must go to 100%

Just ordered from here via Ubereats which I try really hard not to do, but today was particularly difficult and it was the best solution. I was impressed with the speed of service, the food all arrived hot and exactly how I had asked for everything to be prepared. Sometimes it can be scary placing an order with a restaurant youve never been to before, but this was a really positive experience. Thank you!

A lady in her middle age ( probably the owner) is rude and makes everyone uncomfortable.

A WONDERFUL Neighbourhood Tap and Grill. The food is delicious and honest, the portions are generous! Right now, the provincial government has closed indoor dining across the city, but Uber eats and good old take out is available at The Wally Tap and Grill !

This is always my go to Ubereats ordering spot. Ive tried so many things on their menu and Im always so impressed. Comfort food at its best. Those cheese bites are life.

Ordered the French onion soup from uber eats, and it was not appetizing. It was quite salty for my liking, and did not have that French onion soup authenticity. Also ordered fettuccini alfredo and did not like it whatsoever, however my coworker ate it and he enjoyed it.

Some of the tastiest, most well-prepared (cooked perfectly and always fresh) chicken wings Ive had from a bar. I recommend the hot wings.

The food portions are huge, the food prices are amazing and the servers are friendly.

The only real merit of this place to us, is being a 3 minute walk from home, huge bonus in winter. The food is a hit and miss. Service is dedicatedly lackluster, you will not get a smile here... Not the sort of bar Id invite fancy friends to, but an ok spot to visit with my partner on lazy evenings.
