I have had better tasting Bangla food elsewhere.....not a fan .but it's a staple for the community.... Value for money ..
First of all, super clean. Second, I barely talked while eating, the food was that good. Third, super friendly service. We recommend: Mughlai paratha, Paratha, Naan, Beef nehari, Daal, and Alo bhaji Shuji and mixed vegetable was not as tasty but not bad. Also, incredible value for quantity.
Restaurant was nice and clean. Must try beef khichri and haleem. The moglai parata was bit hard and not tasty at all. Not recommend. Otherwise all food was good.
Today i went to padma restaurant with my friends. They served us naan. The naan was so hard, it was like a biscuit. Even though tikka kabab quality was so bad. I will not come here again. I will not suggest anyone about this restaurant.
Seems like a relatively new restaurant. But setup pretty well. Firstly the food was delicious, generous portions size and relatively reasonable(considering inflation and all). Service was decent, they were nice enough to make certain changes to our order to accommodate to our needs. I would recommend to try it out.
It was good experience to be there for first time. Service was wonderful. Pabda fish was delicious. Simply loved it. Restaurant overall is super clean. My only concern will be the price of the lamb we took. I think the portion of the lamb was too little for $17.99
One of the best place to have fun & food with family and friends. Finest Bangladeshi cuisine. Halal food is served here. Overall food quality and taste was good. The owner and server were very friendly and did excellent customer service. Lot of varieties to choose from. I personally recommend BEEF TEHARI, BORHANI, garlic butter naan, mango ice cream, puri and Tea to try from menu. For management , Keep doing what you do you guys are doing great!!!😊 👍
Its a newly opened halal Bengali restaurant. We tried their snacks/appetizer menu. We ordered moghlai poratha, beef halim and kolija singara. Overall all food seems average on taste, nothing special. They have good numbers of server, so overall service wise it seems good than other Bengali restaurants, but it may take a while to get your food in table.
Chicken roast is delicious
The BEST value for money and most tastiest resturant in Ontario for Bengali cuisine... All of their dishes are value for money and tastes excellent! Highly recommend!
I went with my friends and ordered beef kichuri, butter chicken and two bhorta s. While the taste was just okay. The quantity is where my problem is. Very shallow take out containers and very small see through containers for the curry and bhorta s. I was not happy at all. The company is charging full prices for little food. Don t cheat the people. We will pay but make sure your food is tasty, not in small containers and the service great!!
The best fuchka in Toronto. The taste made me nostalgic.
Good service, food is okay!
Food taste was not that much good. Salty food. Portion was ok.family friendly. But need more spaces.
Sorry to say but service is really bad. Poor maintenance and atmosphere really sucks
Food was not good. Next time I will not come. Atmosphere was not good. Smelly place
I visited there from the USA only for test food and I was so impressed by them. Super tasty food also they maintain hygienic. Thank you i will go there again.
One of the best restaurants in Toronto, serving delicious Bengali cuisine.
Today i tried the beef kacchi, giving 2* only for service. the quality of the food was bellow average.
The food quality is quite mediocre and the portions are small, but the prices are top-notch. LOL!
Staff is very good but food is .....
Good
This is the best Bengali restaurant. Testy Food. Food
Wonderful restaurant for family
We went to try this new restaurant at the heart of bangla town. It looked cool from outside but was very disheartened with the food quality. Roast was awful and we had to leave everything half-eaten. The service and the behaviour was horrible as well seemed like these young service workers weren t trained enough.
Got vegetable singara instead of Kolija shingara for take out. Next time they served burned singara and took 20 minutes to serve tea. Poor service.
Excellent food and service. Enjoyed every bite. This place is definitely an addiction! Its a bit crowded though.
Absolute trash
The tehari was couple days away old greasy and the staff has a bad attitude
They sold old tehari Very arrogant and rude Should never come here at all
The best Bangladeshi restaurant at Danforth. Wishing all the success.
Respected manager of Padma restaurant, I would like to draw your attention, the behavior of the female waiters in your restaurant is so bad, and their language is very bad, customers come and take orders after 20 minutes of sitting at the table, but your restaurant is not full of customers.
Today I went there and the food quality was so bad. Even though the customer service was so bad. Their naan quality was so bad. Even though a bad smell is coming from the naan. Customer service is very low. I will give the review 1 out of 10.
My one concern is long waiting period. We ordered snacks n tea but it took more than 30 mins for the food to come. The waiting period was not worth though. Peaju has no onion in it however, kolija singara has kolijas fortunately but the dough was too thick. But I must talk about the waitress who took our order. I was pleased with her cordial and friendly behavior
The food was so good and the stuff are aslo so friendly.
Greetings to the biryani chef of this restaurant, And maybe I wont notice your biryani anymore. If you maintain quality & quantity without selling biryani and increase the price by $5, people will be satisfied.
Tried their Chinese combo, portion was not good enough as well as the food quality
Had breakfast here. Ordered Paratha, Beef Curry, Mixed Veg, and Daal. The quantity was more than enough for two people. The Beef Curry was exceptional. It is a must try.
Horrible
Service was fantastic. Attentive staff. Had a great quick appetizer and tea section here. Was 10/10 daal puri was great same with pakoras. A lot of people around us were ordering mains and we re planning on coming back for a real dinner
I had my lunch today at padma resturant along with my 4 Friends . We ordered 4 Beef kichuri and 1 Beef tehari! Kichuri was okay but bad smell was emanating from Beef tehari Want to mention they served the bad smell tehari after my friends almost finish their food. Shouldn t they serve the all food in a same time? Will never go again
Defently recommend the bier bari roast.
Service was wonderful!
Tried different items, price wise good quantity and their service was awesome. Highly recommend for Bangladeshi Cuisine.
After trying many other Bangladeshi restaurants here in Toronto, I have found this is the best one so far. Surely not 100%, however, very close to Bangladeshi taste. Excellent service, good food and reasonable price. As a professional chef, I respect who pays attention and takes food quality, taste and ethnicity seriously.
Their Chinese food is horrible. Wasted so much money and didn t even eat the food because it tasted disgusting. Their Bangladeshi food is okay, but price is unreasonable considering the serving portion and quality of some of the food items.
Went at evening for the first time with my family to have snacks. We got appetizers like Thai soup, moglai paratha, dal puri and shingara. Firstly everything was super spicy and my family got really sick after eating their food especially the little kids. Would not recommend their food at all or go there again. If you re around there gharoa restaurant is atleast better.
Very bad food.no good taste
REALLY spicy food and 3 people in my family got food poisoned which includes a child
Food is very expensive.
Terribly disappointed that meat to bone ratio was 20/80. We had three dishes: beef, duck and deer. It was the case for all three. The beef was the worst.
The interior looks like vater hotel(poor design choice) in Dhaka. Too much noise inside. Ordered beef tehari and duck khichuri. Food was not great either.
This was the first time we were here and everything is really good. Will continue to come and refer friend.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Padma Restaurant today. Niloy and Zarin provided exceptional service throughout our meal, ensuring every detail was taken care of promptly and with a smile. The food was delicious food. I highly recommend Padma Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy authentic bengali flavors and excellent hospitality!
Great food!
Dont go there if you are looking for a bland tasteless meal. I was pleasantly surprised with the clean and welcoming abeyance of this restaurant. It is a definite cut above that your local corner restaurant where you could take your wife or girlfriend for a relaxing tasty meal. (Though I wouldn t bring them both at the same time!) I only had a small sample of the many dishes that they had to offer but it left you wanting you had more. From what I had I can highly recommend the Muton, curry stir fry vegies and chicken, with rice it was in the wow factor. The potions were fair and reasonable for what you got. This was my first time there and I guarantee it won t be the last
We had a very bad experience when we visited there last week. The most of the snacks that we ordered are stale:( In French fries, I discovered a piece of raw plastic. We spoke with the staff, but they simply removed the food from our table without even offering an apology. We were rather disappointed because We essentially went there for Bangladeshi food.
Great Food and service ..Thank you Promoits
We went here for a family outing Zarin does an awesome job running service for the entire restaurant Rafiq Bhai also an jovial good owner The food was good when we went The kolija shingara was big and flavorful The Bangladeshi Chinese combo is flavorful, it wont blow your mind away but it wont let you down either The polao is very rich The chicken roast is more of a torkari type but its not bad Rezala is rich and good The borhani was the highlight definitely The chaa is nice and strong as well
I ordered a Moglai Porata over phone. I am here to pickup but it is not ready. It seems they are making it now. It means they dont believe in any order over phone. This is unfortunate. If they dont take iny phone order then they should clear it is before.
Dined today at Padma Restaurant, Danforth. Its a new restaurant and ambience is good and clean. Staff and customers service was good. I ordered Tihari, which was just average and surprisingly meat was almost non-existent. So, I ordered a beef curry which was also of average quality. So, I am not excited in coming back again.
Two days back me and some of my friends Dine-in here. The atmosphere is good but the food quality are really disappointing. We ordered four separate items . The chicken roast pulao is ok but the taste of Kala buna and Murog pulao are worst. Specially the beef was too hard to eat . I don t think they followed proper recipe for Murog pulao.
Service was bad
Roast chicken and tandoori were the best but everything we tried was great
Awesome foods!
What makes an awesome experience, its certainly the way you are treated which makes a difference, something to be remembered- thats the essence of positive experience good customer service. Padma has achieved that Thank you
Servicing is really bad also when we enter there all of the dining table weren t properly cleaned .They took too long to serve the food and as we waited long we expected food to be fresh but unfortunately the naan didn t seemed fresh and tasted cold. Server are not so good and idk the name of the one girl but her tone was too rude. They should really look after there worker.
I try the Elisha fish the food has no taste and the owner seems ok about it I mean I had bad experience
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with both the experience and the food. I ordered the beef tehari, which came generously portioned with a boiled egg, fried onions, and a substantial amount of beef more so than what my friends received, which suggests portion sizes may vary. The dining area is thoughtfully designed to reflect a traditional Bangladeshi restaurant style, enhancing the authenticity of the experience. While the restaurant was busy, and some tables needed cleaning, the ambiance remained welcoming. The beef tehari required a 30-minute wait, which was longer than expected, but ultimately worth it. The rice was perfectly non-sticky, lightly oiled, and the hint of mustard oil elevated the dish significantly. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes offered. However, there was a minor inconsistency with the salad distribution; we received only two salads with four orders of tehari. Despite this, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore Bangladeshi cuisine. The menu also features a variety of other enticing dishes, including torkari, desi Hakka-style Chinese cuisine, other types of biryanis, and appetizers. I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by both the food and the experience. I ordered the Beef Tehari, which was served with a poached egg, fried onions, and a generous amount of beef I had more meat on my plate than my friends, showing that serving sizes can vary. The dining area is beautifully decorated in the style of a Bangladeshi restaurant, making the experience more authentic. As the restaurant was busy, some tables were still not cleared, yet the atmosphere was inviting. Had to wait 30 minutes for Beef Tehari, which was not expected, but all in all it was worth it. The rice was not sticky at all, with little oil and the aroma of mustard oil enhanced the taste of the dish a lot. The price is very reasonable compared to the quality and quantity. However, there was a small discrepancy in the salad distribution; We ordered four Tehri but got only two salads. Despite these drawbacks, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant for a taste of Bangladeshi cuisine. The menu has a variety of interesting dishes including torkari, desi Hakka style Chinese food, other biryani and appetizers. Parking: Shoppers World Plaza is free for parking. Just park your car there to enjoy your meal at Padma.
One of the best Bangladeshi restaurants at Danforth
Very good Restaurant
Stale chicken curry caused diarrhea.
Improvement in service and food is important. Went there to Have dinner (Shehri) last night. Only 3 active tables. They took quite a long time to serve us. There were guests who came later than us but left before us as they can t keep track of orders that came first. Sub Par food. Beef bowl is full of Fat and Oil only. The fish and lentil lagged salt. I am not reviewing because of one experience. This place has historically been late for delivering even taking order. I won t repeat my visit until I m invited by someone else and don t have to pay the bill.
Padma Restaurant in Bangla Town (Danforth & Victoria Park, Toronto) has quickly become our new favorite hangout spot. With its reasonable prices, delicious and ample portions, and excellent seating arrangements, it offers a truly authentic Bengali dining experience. The servers, especially Niloy Bhai, are courteous and add greatly to the welcoming atmosphere. Whether its for lunch, dinner, casual snacks, tea, or Seheri, Padma impresses every time. Their biryanis, kachchis, and pulao are flavorful and generously portioned, the $2 tea is a steal, and the variety of Bengali fish dishes with large portions is remarkable. Besides khichudi, weve tried everything on the menu since it opened and have been satisfied with all of the dishes, especially considering the prices and portions. Additionally, the Kala Bhuna is a must-try! Four of us enjoyed 4 main courses and tea for under $80, making it not only a delightful but also an affordable option. Highly recommended!
This food was a complete waste of money, flavorless and disappointing.
Pardha restaurant regular iftar box served stale biryani today
I don t know why this place has such high reviews. Me and my family came for iftar and the food quality was lacking. When we were handed our Haleems it was cold, we had to ask the server to reheat the Haleems. Their food was the most flavourless and low quality food I ate In my entire life. The so called samosa was stale, everything was cold and the food had no flavour. That is not even the worst we paid almost $95 for 3 iftar trays which was not worth the price. I prefer Adda s iftar platter over this sure they are food is not 5 star platter but at least you can eat Adda s food . I Will not be returning to this restaurant.
Very poor iftar platter. Worst beguni I ever had. According to portion, they are insanely high priced. If I were to spend $$, I wouldnt go to a shabby-subpar place like Padma. Adda is a better alternative. Also, if items are missing, they dont even let the customers know, and when customers complain, they try to do a makeshift arrangement of lumpsum missing items. My wife and I - we both had 3-4 missing items in the iftar platter - which they didnt even care to provide later (We didnt ask, because was not in the mood for it after fasting). Poor professionalism.
Rimon is a good chef.Like the food here
Delicious food, affordable price and excellent customer service.
It was my first time on Padma Restaurant. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. The server Nushrat was serving the food on our table. She was very careless about the customer. Unbelievable. Worst server I have ever seen in my life.
Customer service was horrible. Today me and my wife went there . Waited for 30 minutes no one came to take the order or gave us the glasses or napkins. when I called someone and gave the food order again waited for 20 min she was serving the customers came after us bt didnt get bothered to look into our table and when I asked her why she served the other customer who came after us she denied . Even that customer told her he came after us she should have served us before. She was talking to a couple seems like she knows her and didnt even look into us nor served us the food after waiting for 50 minutes. I feel so offended so I left without the food. I never expected this from Padma restaurant. I was coming to this restaurant from the begging and thought they will keep the standard but after todays experience Im admitted I was wrong. Im gonna spread this to my family and friends as well and we are not coming back to padma restaurant ever again and Im recommended not to go there because of their poor, unprofessional, rude and disrespectful behavior.
The food was ok, the service was slow, nothing fancy, and the description provided on the website does not match at all (interior dining experience).
Tried out Padma restaurant last night, food was mostly good, especially the Moghlai, mutton kacchi,Cha and pudding but the fuchka was a bit off with sprinkle of shredded carrots and very soggy texture. Ambiance wise, it was just okay and the service was honestly pretty bad.
one of the best and quality service ever in danforth
The service standards meet the top requirements. Best customer ever. Thank you tahmina apu for your great hospitality. And shohag vai, you are the best chef undoubtedly.
From the moment we arrived at Padma restaurant, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace and comfort. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and every corner radiated a homely warmth, making us forget that we were at the restaurant....it truly felt like our own home. Humaira the little girl serving us went above and beyond. The owners (Himu) genuine kindness and eagerness to assist were palpable. To anyone considering a visit to Padma restaurant, truly a 100% recommendation from us Parking: No comments
Well, The Food Quality And Freshness is something All about. Their Fusion is worth trying. Customer service is 10 on 10, Theyre trying Their level best to stand Up to the Mark.
Have a very good experience with Padma Restaurant . Friendly staff, excellent food, and super services. Their mutton kacchi, muglai, piajo and borhani were super tasty. Just keep it up Padma. Best of luck.
Highly recommended! I drive an hour to come here just for the amazing service and great food! The staff are very kind and polite.
The food and service was amazing! Loved the Mutton Rezala Food
Usually I don t give negative reviews. But this was absolutely horrible and disgusting experience I ever had in a Toronto Bangla restaurant. After we sat on the table, a server brought water bottle and glasses. The glasses were dirty, dried up food residue from previous use were clearly visible. I asked the server to bring clean glasses, but she just went to the back counter, wiped the glass with a cloth and brought it back. It was really gross, so we decided to not have water. Food was similarly horrible, the beef tehari I ordered was the worst-ever. There was literally no single piece of beef. Just few shredded pieces and few bones, thats it! We told the server, no response. Then we went to the payment counter, and also told the owner, and he just move to the other side as if nothing happened. NOT going at all.
Today i came to padma restaurant with my friends. And tried thier newly launched chinese food chilli chicken, Beef strip fry and egg Fried rice and for appetizer we took muglai these are really awesood... We enjoyed the food and Their service excellent.... Thank you. Food
The cook / chef needs to know the definition of kacchi!! I bought mutton kacchi to check and got really disappointed. The amount of meat and rice was pretty much good but the food itself is horrible. A lot of food colour and chunk of spices made it inedible. Although the staff and the environment was good but the main thing (food) is worthless. Do not recommend the Kacchi.
Just like any other average restaurant very average food. Got some takeaways. Chicken roast, fish curry, chicken curry and pilau. The chicken roast was so over cooked. Nothing seemed fresh and nothing really stood out. The service was good that s the only good thing about the place.
Guys don t try mango poding at all ..waste of money
Tables are tightly packed in, not a great sit down restaurant. The waitress was great, only thing this restaurant has going for it. We got paper menus that had residual oil on it. The cups, plates and table were dirty, having grease and food particles on it. The food, not worth talking about.
First time at the Restaurant .Drove from Brampton. Food and service was excellent. Wish other Bangladeshi restaurants will try to follow this restaurant to improve their quality.
Got Rotten biryani everytimes...
As Ottawa residents, thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. From service to ambience to service , it was positive! Keep it up. Got super busy around 3pm on a Sunday.
We had chicken tikka and beef kacchi, both dishes were delicious and service was excellent.
This is the best cha I ve had in a while! Shami kabab was very nice as well and their breakfast selection is quite nice. Friendly staff!
We are from New York City and we were at Toronto for weekend trip. One of our friends suggested that Padma is new Bangladeshi restaurant and food will be great. We ordered for takeout. After arriving our temporary housing we found they are serving old foods. I ordered beef Tehahi for myself and my wife ordered beef kichuri for herself. After opening the boxes we found a very bad pungent smell from the foods. After putting 1 bite we both were sure that foods were very old and they served us smelly old food. With a very sad heart we have to throw those foods. I can guarantee that if they served this type of food at New York their food store license will be suspended and store will be closed. I will not suggest anyone to this place. I wish I could add smell so people can understand what I am talking about. In addition only good part this place is their server s. They are amazing and friendly.
We went to eat on a Wednesday night at 7pm, and at least 3/4 dishes were out of stock and dishes like chicken roast and beef kacchi. I understand if it was 9 pm that they sold out of stuffs but at 7 pm, just make new food. Service was very slow and server was very incompetent. It took her 5 times to get our order correctly. Food was ok, the Khichuri was smelling bad. I don t think I wanna come back here again.
Yesterday, on March 8th, we placed an order for two servings of Kacchi biriyani for dine-in. We were unable to finish the full biriyani, so we requested a portion to take away. The next morning, when I opened the takeaway box, I found a piece of plastic bag in my food. Later, I went to the restaurant and spoke with the chef. He came out with an egoistic attitude and declined to accept responsibility for the mistake. As a part of the Bengali community, we cannot overlook such a serious error and unacceptable behavior from Padma Restaurant, as it could lead to severe illness.
Wasn t the best with hygiene. Had a lot of expectation because it was all over social media!! The food was okay. We took the beef which was bland. The hilsa was pretty good. Another thing about the unavailability of bhortas, on a Saturday at 1:00pm ??
I tried their mutton kacchi and roast pulao, but unfortunately, the food was not good at all. I would rate it 1 for hygiene and food, as a friend of mine found a plastic bag in his food. I will never visit this place again.
Food taste was not good and everything is extra expensive, compared to the other bangali restaurants. Not recommended .
Pathetic service equipped with pathetic food.
Lack of meat in biryani. Looks like they are cheap with meat or gave us leftovers. Also hard meat, potatoes half cooked.
Incredible, delicious, spicy food! Loved the service, thank you!
Great food, my family enjoy it. Highly recommend to everyone.
Really good
Authentic Bangladeshi foods at reasonable prices. Excellent service. Very nicely decorated restaurant in the Danforth area.
Great customer service, good atmosphere and tasty food
Great place, definitely recommended!
Customer service was super excellent. We are amazed how Fahmida provided us all the details and made sure that we enjoy our time in Padma. Thank you. Parking: Plaza
This new restaurant is really good. We enjoyed the food with welcoming staffs. Tahmina was excellent on her job. All the dishes we took was delicious with perfect amount of spice.
Food was too bad . I ordered chicken biriyani but I don t know what I was get totally disgusting Never going there again totally money wasted
Good food and excellent portion. The team took care of us and even provided us extra rice free of cost. Well done in customer service
Good food. Good ppl. Nice behavior
All food and service is so good and delicious .
Support local restaurant. Nehari (available only on weekends) is a must. Great food and affordable.
Best Bangladeshi restaurant, excellent customer service
Fahmidas service was Excellent. Very courteous and friendly. Also extremely pleasant and happy.
Fahmida is an Excellent asset to Padma. Professional and very good customer service.
Seems to be a new Bengali restaurant.. It is clean, tidy, pleasingly decorated and has fresh Bengali Tea snack items in the Menu Parking: In front in the Shopping Mall area
Today on Thursday Feb-01/2024 around 5:00pm Mr. Masuk Mia and I went to Padma Restaurant for first time to enjoy their Dining service. I would like to say so wonderful experience in relate to food, service and over all environment. Specially our waitress Anika taking care of our table with so delightfully, really amazing. I would like to say a young lady with outstanding professionalism. Food quality-- I would say mouthwatering and so delicious. I would request everyone please go and enjoy their dining service and hospitality, definitely you will find something remarkable. Thanks. -Prof. A. Rahman
Amazing food and great service.
Delicious and great value for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend the masala tea (cha)!
Excellent service with exquisite food quality. Special thanks to Zarin for her service.
Best Bengali Foods in Danforth, highly recommended. their service was too good, Especially Jarin Tasnim

Always coming n serving with smily face. I m really really very happy and hope to go again. I live in mississauga but will visit Padma restaurants.
Tahmina server gave excellent service On Thursday my panda restaurant visit Vegetarian options: Dal excellent
Promit is super gentle person, he served very nicely. Thanks to him today February 03,2024
Promit served very well with respect
Bangladeshi Restaurant Padma Apart from the beautiful interior design, their food also has many varieties. Authentic Bangladeshi recipes and almost all the dishes taste and are amazing. I especially like it Katchi (beef and mutton) Mughlai Chicken Breast Kebab Garlic Bread Beef Tehari Borhani And of course their tea. A very good restaurant to eat Bangladeshi food with family. (They have a robot to serve the food, which I think is awesome)
Niloys service was exceptional!! Loved the food
Loved the food, excellent service and super pocket friendly. Would recommend any time
I recently dined at PADMA Restaurant and it was truly a delightful experience. The ambiance was inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the menu offered a diverse range of mouthwatering dishes. The food was impeccably prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and exquisite flavors. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and the presentation added to the overall appeal. The attention to detail, from start to finish, made my dining experience memorable. I highly recommend [Padma ] for anyone seeking a perfect blend of exceptional cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. Kid-friendliness: Thank you Padma restaurant management for taking care of us
It was very nice experience.. I like the hospitality and plan puri and tea mostly overall food was good
This gastronomic haven transcends the ordinary, boasting an extensive menu that tantalizes taste buds with a symphony of flavors. The ambience is an exquisite blend of sophistication and comfort, setting the stage for a culinary journey. Impeccable service from the amiable staff adds a layer of warmth to the overall dining experience. Culinary artistry is on full display, with each dish a masterpiece of presentation and taste. While it may be considered a splurge, the sensory adventure makes it a worthwhile investment for discerning palates. I am totally astonished to have their daal puri and that made me feel I am in my mohallas restaurant in Dhaka. Moglai Parata and kacchi is remarkable!! Price is also attractively efficient so it is cost effective and great.
Very friendly staff! Staff really took the time to explain the dishes to us. She was very patient and helpful Dietary restrictions: There are some gluten-free options.
Best kala bhuna Ive tried at a restaurant. Really nice servers.
Foods average. Service worst. Atmosphere okay!
Food quality and quantity, environment service all were good specially neat and clean washroom were impressive.
Good food and happy with the customer service
Its a basic restaurant, not enough space ,food not so yummy, Curry bad smell every corner .
New restaurant, heard kacchi is best but very disappointed us . If you are a real kacchi lover and had real kacchi in Bangladeshi then you will get this. They don t even know what real kacchi is. Too much colour in rice, orange, red, yellow ( lost my appetite right way) also lot of gravy with beef, ruined the flavour of rice, beef was burnt and dry. Looked like gravy was mixed separately. Most Importantly they added a lot of Beresta on top of rice, don t know why ( fried onion) . It made rice crunchy I had to remove them before eating. Why did you add this way too much ? Just to look nice ? I couldn t taste the flavour of rice due to that. Provided kabab was nice of them but didn t get what type of kabab was it . Tasteless. We tried both mutton and beef kacchi. Both tasted same and same condition of rice. They need to stop adding too many various food colours also the gravy was way too much and didn t taste as kacchi. Atmosphere was really nice. Owner was very kind. I know they are new to this business but need to learn how to cook the kacchi. Kacchi has an authentic smells which was missing as well. I am sorry for this review , but this might help them to improve their quality of foods. I didn t try any other foods. Will try only snacks next time. Price was same as other restaurants not cheap.
Only place where you can find the best Bengali Cuisine, loved it.
I ordered for take-out 3 chicken roast - polau 1 mutton kacchi 1 moghlai paratha 2 vegetable singara But they didnt give me a single pc of salad.
Me and wife got sick after having Tahari and Bea Bari rost . Food may not fresh.
We have visited the restaurant in person 3 times and food was good and we liked it. However during our 4th time we placed a large phone order and 1 key item was missing however since it was for guests, I didnt have time to call about it until the next day. When I called, the phone attendant woman acted like I making it up and almost wont believe me. Then she handed the phone to the owner and when he came on the phone and he started giving full on attitude that they are busy, they dont have time to deal with this now. They will look into it maybe for future and then he literally hung up on me. I mean honestly least you can do is acknowledge your mistake and try to rectify the situation. If you are not going to treat your customers with respect then dont expect the same from them. We did like the place when we visited in person but the typical bangladeshi restaurants owners attitude didnt really sit well with us. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone only due to the behavior of the owner/manager.
They did everything right except for the food! They spent so much money to decorate this place but yet it seems like they forgot to get them a good or at least a decent chef! I will give them 2 more tries before I could mark them off my list. ------------ Visited again today (Feb14) to see if they really did change something! To my great disappointment, there was zero change. Ordered chicken tikka, it was so salty that I could barely finish it. Horrible horrible food. Didnt bother to complain as I know nothing would change for this darn so-called restaurant! I hope I learned my lesson. My little daughter could do better with proper instructions. Never going back to darn place... Truth be told, the server was genuinely nice. Atmosphere got worse.
Best food in the town .
I was visit 14 February they are totally unique thanks for the flower and thanks chef for the delicious food and love shape of kachi
Loved everything about this place! Delicious food, welcoming environment, and excellent customer service. We will definitely be back to dine in with family.
Considering how many other Bengali restaurants are in the area, they really shine as one of the best in terms of service, ambience, and tastiness!
Great staff, delicious food, very clean restaurant.
Best Bengali food in the town!!!
Had an wonderful experience.
Taste Kid-friendliness: Welcome gift for kids Food : 5/5 |
Service was really good! We barely had to wait to be seated and have our order taken. We ordered muglai paratha, kacchi biriyani, and tandoori chicken. Food came out quickly and was really tasty and good portion sizes. Naan was especially soft!
