This is a decent cafe but not sure why it is so high rated, coffee and sandwich was ok but nothing to write home about. Soup tasted very odd, couldnt finish it. People were friendly and atmosphere cozy.

Ive been on the hunt for a good breakfast sammie in the GTA for years. This place is IT. real, thick roasted ham??? Butter croissants?? AND were coffee snobs, and the espresso top it off with great vibes and lovely service... Hooked.

Lived in the area for 1+ year before discovering this gem! The pastries, bagels, coffee, and tea have been amazing. Happy to have this cafe be apart of our day-off routine and excited to keep sampling the menu.

There is a enough space to grab a table and sit to do work, meet up for a date, or have a coffee with friends. The owner is lovely, and the drinks are great. The food is pretty good too.

I was looking for a cute local coffee shop to go to and came across this gem! The owner is so friendly and the food taste great and fresh. I ve had the breakfast wrap and her homemade cookies. Yummm

Lovely little spot with such charm! A vast menu of excellent food - made to order or frozen. You can tell everything is prepared with care and quality ingredients. Started going here for my morning esspreso and got hooked. The owners are very attentive to their repeat customers and remember their orders right when they walk in the door. Their esspresos are amazing. Large selection of treats and cold drinks too!

Super cozy place! Also best chocolate croissant Ive ever had. Chocolate filling tasted like it was made by a chocolatier in the Swiss alps with milk from cows that get daily massages and are loving life.

Great place, awesome food

I came upon this place through a google search of coffee shops near me. My son is in gymnastics at EYGC only a couple mins away. I wouldn t have noticed this place as it s somewhat unassuming from the outside and is nestled in a strip of stores along the east side of O Connor. At first impression, this place reminds me of a coffee shop one would find up north, in cottage country. It s very quaint. It s family owned/run (a brother and sister own the place. She does all the baking he s the chef), you can tell that there s a lot of pride that goes into it. The chef is clearly very mild in his demeanour, coming out from the kitchen to chat with patrons and even take orders (orders are normally taken at the cash but it was a bit slower so the taking of orders could happen on the fly). It s not a typical restaurant feel. More a coffee shop, but that said, it has a large menu. My only suggestion is to turn up the music a bit (it was barely audible). The hum of the beverage and pastry fridges was somewhat overpowering, turning up the music will just make the place that much more enjoyable. This ll be my place to hang out during my son s gymnastics sessions moving forward!

A lovely cozy spot. I stumbled across this coffee shop and restaurant while between meetings in the East end. The food was tasty and the coffee was good. The seating is comfy and I was able to sit for as long as I needed to. The food was reasonably priced and made to order. A lovely surprise on a hot summer day. If youre in the area, give this place a shot and you wont be disappointed.

The Monte Cristo French Toast is delicious! Must try! An assortment of sweets and baked goods are available. Kawartha Dairy ice cream is a big plus!

I passed by a guy smoking a cigarette sitting on bench outside of shop, hoping he didnt work here. He did. He served me coffee and took money, having not washed hands and still reeling of cigarette smoke. Coffee tasted like folgers. No thanks.
