Just what I need when I get a craving for Chinese Food.

I ordered Cantonese chow mien, general tao chicken and barbecue fried rice, it was the worse general tao chicken I had. I will not go back there again. I am very disappointed.

Im giving it a 3 star rating due to service food was regular Ive tried every Chinese food place in this city from mayflower etobicoke to South pacific downtown the food was decent stay away from the beef and broccoli in black bean sauce pork fried rice was good Cantonese chow main was good spring rolls the big ones was greasy chicken balls are ok there in a heavy breading could use a light breading cream cheese wontons are amazing crispy wontons are ok too much meat and not cooked enough lady was rude after I asked for plates and lots of hit sauce and soy sauce told her it was my first time here when I walked in I will be going back but I wont be spending $70 dollars again

Great food always ready on time. The shrimp with lobster sauce goes great with the special rice. Vegetarian options: A number of mixed and single vegetable dishes available. Parking: Parking meters are free after hours but all nearby streets are free. Wheelchair accessibility: No ramp. Only 2 small steps you could navigate with walker but difficult with a wheelchair.

We called to ordered food at 6:30 pm. the guys said it will be ready in 35 minutes. We ended up waiting until 8pm with all the other 6 people in line waiting for their food. We kept pressing the bell and none of the staff has no effort to show up their faces to apologize nor explained what the hell was going on. they are so disorganize and doesnt seem to know what they are doing. they kept accepting orders over the phone when they cant even keep up with the people who have been waiting for 2 hours. will never ever get my food here again.

Ordered delivery here for the first time despite living in the area for about 8 years. Saw an article that they ve had the same menu since the 60s so I figured it must be good. It did not disappoint! Food arrive piping hot and tasted fresh and delicious. I m a little picky with food and they happily made modifications to my order as requested. Their pricing is amazing (a fraction of what I would ve spent ordering Chinese food elsewhere) and the gentleman who delivered our order was so nice to my toddler. I will definitely be a regular customer!

A timeless establishment in the area, we never go anywhere else when were craving North American Chinese food. Great prices, quick delivery, delicious! Parking: Parking right out front, though limited.

We love China Food. After moving to the area in 2021, I was looking for some classic north american style Chinese food. Ive had some bad experiences and learned some small places are not great quality, but after some recommendations to try China Food I gave it a shot and havent looked back. When a place has been in business this long, especially in a city like Toronto where competition for Chinese food can be stiff, theres a reason! You cant beat the prices and the food always hits the spot. Highly recommend if youre looking for a new spot

Good wasnt ready on time ( pick up). Waited an extra 20 minutes on top of the 35-40 they said it would take to be ready. Food was ok. Not the best Chinese food Ive ever had, certainly not the worst. Great value. Prices are excellent.

Local Canadian Chinese food for decades. Remaining consistently good through multiple owners. Not a full spread, but all the favorite dishes Prices are good. Many times, they dont answer the phone to place an order if they are busy, so just go there. Wait times are about 25 min based on 30 years of ordering there. Vegetarian options: Chinese food aleays has veggy option Parking: Limited front of store parking, but not usually an issue.

Ive lived in this neighbourhood for 10+ years now and China Food is my go-to Chinese-Canadian restaurant not just because its close but because its good. Ive never once been disappointed with the quality or the portions of anything Ive ordered here. Always great service as well. Highly recommend.

Great value, delicious chicken wings, good food

They are always behind for pick up. It appears they don t start making the food till you arrive as they always make you wait. Good food but frustrating if you are trying to be efficient with your time.

Absolutely delicious Chinese food. Quality ingredients and generous portions. Prompt courteous delivery of HOT food. Best sweet and sour chicken balls we ve ever had- lots of white meat in them and not greasy at all. We are so glad we found China Food!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Waited 3 hours and did NOT received my order. They strung me along the whole time. After 2 hours of waiting, I was told my order was being packed up. At the 2.5 hour mark, they told me the driver was on his way. At the 3 hour mark, I was told my order was being packed up (again). After pressing them hard on their story not making sense, they finally admitted that the food was not ready. To make things worse, I had told them I had kids and was only looking for an honest answer . Awful experience. Waiting for 3 hours is one thing but to be lied to the whole time is inexcusable.

We ordered food from here for New Years Eve, it was delicious. Will definitely be going back.

I call BS to SW KOW s review I ve been going to this place for years. I ve had minor issues with a couple of dishes in the past, still they re dependable and pleasant to a fault. If they perceive a delay, they ve always advised during the call one time they called me after my initial call to advise of a delay. I can understand some people being disappointed with a dish or two (good, but could be better), but service? Bull. I m ordering yet again tonight and I m looking forward to it.

Wonderful local neighbourhood Chinese food delivery. Particularly like the Dinner for 4, which includes many items in smaller portions so that you get a large variety. The food arrives warm, and delivery is free. They have estimated 1 hour for delivery every time I have ordered, and my food has always arrived within the time. The staff is friendly and the food is classic and delicious. Meat is very clean (especially the immaculate sliced pork!) and flavours are simple but tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Best Chinese food in the city in my opinion. Classic neighborhood spot, we ve been going here since the early 2000s and late 1990s, has always been on point. Nothing to fancy just great Chinese food at a fair price. Would definitely always recommend.

Anyone who thinks this is the best Chinese food in the city has never eaten Chinese food frequented by Chinese people. Hands down the worst food I have ever had and in fact worse than mall Chinese food if you ask me. Ordered a simple chicken balls with chicken fried rice. For some reason this takes 15 minutes but really there was no on in this take out only place. Now this combo choice is handwritten on a piece of bristle board on the wall named daily specials. Really it is there every day. I am at a loss how you can make bad chicken balls since these were likely just frozen. The rice was a disaster. Burnt and smoky bitter tasting with zero green onions or fragrance typical of Chinese rice. No way anyone who likes to cook made this food. Maybe someone who does not know how to cook. Unlike a place like the Sea Hi where they have 4 or 5 combo selections with better quality China Food has just a few options for one person and they are all pretty much chicken balls. Now keep in mind this is $5.55 so dont expect perfection but at least make an effort. I also ordered egg rolls were I am sure where frozen from a factory and so those were ok. I think most people who occasionally have Chinese food do like a selection and rather than buy 5 or 6 individual items they prefer a combo selection. For larger groups they seem to have that but I am not convinced the quality will be much better. So yes technically Chinese food but a poor effort and poor quality but at a very low price. Hey stick to the mall cause I think that would be way better.

Look...its no-frills, non-descript, non-offensive North American Chinese food. Nothing wowd us. It is fine and gets the job done and isnt greasy or leaving you feeling like you want to crawl under a rock and die. Took 90 minutes from order to delivery

If you are looking for a really solid place for Chinese Canadian delivery in Toronto you can t do better than China Food. In a city filled with so many take out places it seems strange that the options for good old egg rolls, chicken balls and fried rice are so limited and altogether horrible. I ve been disappointed many times. China Food is the freshest and tastiest. Their fried items are never greasy but always crunchy and delicious. The portions are decent and the price is right. On top of all this, they are so friendly and quickly deliver their own food. I despise third party food delivery services as the food takes forever and arrives cold. Thank you, China Food, for being my go-to in TO! You have a loyal customer in me!

Im glad we decided to try this place. Good portions at a great price. We really liked the chicken wings and chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice is awesome. It wasnt too salty and not greasy at all. This will be our go to place now for Chinese takeout.

I ve been eating here for 4 years, this has been the best Chinese food me and my family have ever had. My mother in law comes down from Bradford to have this, this is the best place! Always hot and fresh food.

Ordered delivery on a Sunday night during the pandemic. Was not expecting amazing as it s a small Chinese food restaurant and prices were low but boy was I ever wrong. The veggies were so fresh, the egg roll tasted like it was made in house and not frozen. The BBQ pork was so tasty and even came with sauce to pour over top. I could drink the sauce it was so yummy. The woman who delivered was very sweet as well and kept her distance. We will definitely order from here again!

We were in Toronto for a night parked in a transport, delivering for a food bank. Randomly ordered from this restaurant, lots a food, fast delivery, the lady was very kind, and the food was awesome. Looking forward to ordering again.

worst food ever ordered $90 worth of food for my board meeting and they told me it will feed lots of people well they lied Veggie spring rolls were so oily as if they just poured oil on top of it the veggie chowmein was so soggy it was all stuck together there veggie fried rice was so dry ann bland had eggs in it we had no plates no forks or napkins one of the people in the board meeting vomited I even feel so sick to my stomach riight now they dont even deserve a one star rating they deserve a zero.

Ordered a bunch of food for a lot of people and order came out completely wrong and tasted so bad. Rice had no flavour, wings were very dry and vegetables were very soggy and bland. Legit nothing I ordered was even up to par. Calling them was frustrating because they didn t want to help. Next time do better please

We had to wait a little longer than usual on our last visit, but China Food has been in the neighborhood for most of my life amd they havent changed much, dont fix what is not broken I guess.

Have ordered food delivered from this place for over twenty years. Items are well packed, piping hot, and delicious. Special mention should be made re chicken balls in honey sauce, chicken in mixed vegetables and always munchy egg rolls. Customer service is friendly and efficient. Deserves to be a neighbourhood landmark!
