You cannot leave without trying the chicken on fries or the lamb on rice.

it was good in terms of customer service and all of the food, however I would not recommend the fish. I tried it twice (once with the fries and another in a sub) and hours later ended up vomiting multiple times, of course it could just be me but it did happen twice so I am not sure. I was really saddened to hear about the fire. Hopefully the place will be able to open up again really soon.

First time trying Watan Pizza and I was blown away! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for family dinners or catching up with friends. The pizza? Phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, bursting with flavors, and a crust to die for. Cant wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Love the pizza and wings here. A quick note to anybody going there this week, apparently there was a fire and their premises has been shut down for sometime and nobody has updated google.

Horrible customers service at all, they don t know what s customer service , we have ordered half an hour in advance, but when arrived there , they said they have forgotten our order and asked to wait another 15 minutes without any apologies or respectful to customers, (Zaid and one other person were at the counter for my order), I was witness of the same situation with few other customers at the same time. I hope the owner read these feedbacks and respond responsibly. I don t recommend ordering food from this restaurant, they will give you hard time while not able to get your order.

Its not the same food and quality anymore, i had given them good reviews in the past but have noticed low quality standard in their food recently.

I just ordered a 2 Titanic Burgers, and the MEAT WAS COLD, part of the bread wasn t fresh. The salad tasted like it was just out of the fridge. Overall, The Food was COLD

I just received 2 medium chicken over fries and they were both undercooked. Some of the fries was hard and some of the chicken wasn t fully cooked + the portion of the chicken is significantly less than it used to be so I won t be ordering from here anymore. 2 bad incidents on the row!

Best place in East York to get a quick bite to eat. Portions are reasonable and their sauces are delicious. My favs are chicken on rice or the fish plate.

The only reason Im giving 1 star is nobody inside wearing gloves I saw the guy touched cash $ and after prepared wrap food taste is good no complaints just hygienic issue nobody inside wearing gloves or mask and all the time talking to each other inside .

Taste 5/5 Price 2.5/5 I order from here occasionally, often when I feel like splurging. Watan has by far the best chicken on fries I have ever tasted, there really is nothing like it. The only issue is that the price has dramatically increased from what it used to be. It goes to around 25$ to purchase the large which used to be around 15 a couple of years ago. The philly steak as shown below comes with grilled? veggies, which really add to the savoryness of the overall meal, the meat is well seasoned and the price is a standard 13$ off skip. Overall, if youre rich (and youre not cause you live in Thorncliffe) Watan is the way to go, otherwise its fine to go every once in a while. Gets like a 7.9 on the Talha Scale and a 7.5 overall. Dietary restrictions: Halal

Every time I order something with chicken its raw. EVERY SINGLE TIME ! DO NOT GO HERE. The people working there are so rude and give u cold food. Found a hair in the food too. I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe its just one time. But every time their service and food is terrible now. In person I asked the woman talking to me to at least put her mask on , this was during covid and she got so mad that a customer had asked her to not speak to them with their mask off. They all have so much attitude and they are rude. If you order online they will cancel your order and then when you go to pick up they will say we cancelled it a long time ago and we didnt make the food but you can have a slice of pizza. Absolutely trash restaurant, if you want to save your health dont go here.

I had the worst food poisoning. Never visiting this place ever again.

I usually don t post bad reviews but this time I think I have to. After ordering tandoori wrap I got very sick (food poisoning) for 24 hours I was very sick.. I hope they take this review seriously and do something about it. I understand everyone makes mistakes I just want them to do better in future.

This USED to be good back before Covid. Now prices are higher, quantity is half. Ordered chicken over Fries for 20$. It came in those small aluminum poutine containers, used to be double in quantity. Chicken so dry, not how it used to be either. Not worth it now, just go elsewhere.

Ordered a pizza 2 weeks ago it was very good but the crust was very thin today I went again hoping it would be the same pizza as last time I told home to make it thick crust this time believe me it was extremely thick and had a smell of raw meat I was so disappointed I was very hungry but I couldn t eat 2 slices I took it home and nobody was eating it finally threw it away 18$ wasted

I ve been going to this place for years and the food never change they kept the same taste

It s an second time having bad experience with them first time dine in and saw hair on the pizza slice and i took to the manager they are offering me another one i know it happens sometimes but careful at the same time and yesterday I ordered online it was like a mess of vegetables mushrooms was burnt and i think they forgot to add olives while making and thrown on pizza after that it seems messy presentation made by unprofessional and even no taste , then i call them the boy did not understand very disappointed. Only dip is quite good

Assalamualaikum, I am regular customer of watan pizza. I usually buy around 4 to 5 items in 1 order. Today after 1 to 2 years they nailed it. Excellent and delicious pizza with good amount of cheese & chicken. Chicken over fries 7 stars for it. Good portion and value for money today. Whoever is working in kitchen today around 11am hats off to u boss . Mashallah you are very good chef. Hope you guys will always make us happy like this. Price of the food items are bit high but today its worth it , Allahumdulliah so pleased n happy today :) thank you guys jazakh allah khair.

Not sure why this place asks for a tip. today I ordered a Philly cheese steak combo. I walked up ordered and paid and added a 15% tip. I sat down and when the food was ready, he asked me to come up to pick it up. Why would I go get my food and bring it back to my table when I tipped you? I was very disappointed and asked him to pack it to go. Im not coming here again, because this place has no idea what service means and dont deserve any tips. They should stop asking for tips. Everything is fine but at DINE In AREA is not enough to SIT, the SIZE of the CHICKEN WINGS are very SMALL and for money is EXPENSIVE/HIGH compared to other restaurants.

This afternoon as of December 9 I ordered a Philly steak , fish sandwich and a slice of pizza but he charged me for a medium size and I didnt notice as I was jn hurry when I asked the guy to give only 1 piece he ignored very rude service although they serve good food.i have never this rude service in my life Funding bunch of Afghanistan idiots.

Worst pizza I ve ever had in my Life.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken over fries was poorly prepared with an overwhelming amount of sauce. Unfortunately, the meal made me feel nauseous, and I ended up vomiting after eating. Considering the high cost, it was definitely not worth it. I wont be returning.

Insane price increase for the most basic items you ve ever seen. Chicken over frozen fresh fries is like 20 bucks! The overall portion is smaller too. This is all processed food from the freezer. Nothing is really fresh, so I don t understand how they can justify in raising prices. Also the guys who work there are unprofessional and they think they are some hood mans. Guy answers the phone like he s talking to his boy lol Lareeez shawarma right next to then have the same stuff, chicken over fries or rice and even the large size over there will cost you less than 15 dollars. These guys try to pull a fast one and think they can justify raising the prices but the quality and customer service there is the same.

One of the best halal pizza places with burgers and wings. Their wings are big and breaded, sauced just right. Pizza is always prepared with generous toppings, usually ready within 20 minutes unless there are a lot of orders. The burgers are decent, but not their specialty. There is no seating space and designed for take out only. They have their own delivery as well as uber eats and other delivery services. Best place for ordering in the thorncliffe area hands down. They also carry milky cake and have a decent collection of drinks as well. Their halal meat collection includes sausages and bacon besides chicken, pepperoni and beef. They also keep a decent collection of kulfies. Last but not the least their poutine is nice and also available with meats. Overall a must try place.

Going from 3 stars to 1 star. I ordered X-lg pizza and waited 15 mins, found out that pizza was ready and left ontop of pizza oven, while my family was waiting for them to call us. I then go ahead and open my pizza there was hair on it. I asked them to remake it and the guy named Ali denied saying the guy making pizza has no hair, theres a girl wearing hijab, and I didnt even touch the pizza. I asked him if he thinks its mine and he continues to say that he can offer refund but wont remake the pizza. My family and I was very upset with the customer service and quality of service they provided and Im sure that I wont be coming back here again. Good luck to those who want to eat here with someone elses hair in their food.

Pure deceit!!! Menu item for 7 shrimps showed pretty good sized shrimps in photographs. Actual size was the size of flat lollipops!!! And they were TASTELESS. Menu showed $14.99. They charged $15.99. I am all in for supporting small businesses, but guys, be honest in your transactions!!!

Walked in to the store to find out that just a large pizza with 4 toppings costs 23 dollars. I guess the times and inflation are so tough that you decide to raise the money and charge per topping, despite the fact this place makes so much money on daily basis.

Watan pizza and grill is not for regular pizza lover anymore, watan pizza has increased pricess like a rocket, from now on one large and one extra large pizza will cost you around 42 dollars . Please dont be shocked ,l used to pay 25 dollars for 2 pizza ,the only excuse they have now ,prices have gone up for the toppings. I am really disappointed with a 100 percent price hike.

Price has become way too expensive, my friends said they got 2 pizzas for 20 to 25 dollars, but when I went today to get 2 boxes, they charged me almost 50 bucks. In my opinion this is like a high end robbery.

My family bought a extra large and also a large pizza about a month ago for around 25 bucks. Today we went again same order they charged us 45 bucks. First time trying there PIZZA. Tried Hot deal large pizza with wings from here and it was very tasty.Tomato sauce wasnt much in pizza which is good and wings were cooked well. Will definitely check out other items. Masood on the counter is best person.

Its a good sandwich but the amount of beef it has is halirous and they are considered as very cheap people and they charge alot I only felt the cheese and the sauce on the sandwich and little tiny tase of beef.

Horrible store with horrible prices. They leave your order to sit for forever and hand it over once it s cold. My burger buns were fully hard like they used leftovers from yesterday. Do anything but not go here. Chicken over fries for $22 that fills you up less then a lazeez shawarma. Lol and they call it business. there blatantly ripping you off.
