Terrible experience... not worth it. There was a beard hair on the pancake we ordered and the kitchen messed up our order. They put a pile of bacon on my vegetarian partners plate even though he just ordered 3 eggs with home fries and toast- NO MEAT. When they tried to serve it to him, we told them he didn't order it with bacon and that he's vegetarian and can't eat meat. They took it back and less than 30 seconds later they returned with the same plate but clearly they just took the bacon off of it. Unfortunately the bacon grease was all over the home fries and eggs, and there were still pieces of bacon mixed in with the home fries (it was hard to tell until you tasted it since the bacon bits had a similar colour to the bits of fried homefries). We were in a rush and my partner isn't the confrontational type so he just smothered it in hot sauce and tried to power through it. As soon as we got home, he had stomach issues from the meal and upon reading the reviews of cockroaches and pests, I threw away my home fries/toast leftovers as I was utterly disgusted. Service was prompt and the food came out fast, but the servers weren't very friendly or attentive. Our server was rude and stuck up.
A lovely little breakfast spot in the neighbourhood. There’s less seating in the colder months and feels a little more cramped, especially when it’s busy which was the case when my partner and I went Saturday early afternoon. We were still seated very quickly but were transparent in that we might need to move if a bigger group came and needed to sit at the larger table if needed (we were okay with that). Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. They checked up on us regularly and did not dillydally on letting us pay for our check. They really kept both food and people coming. My classic breakfast was made to perfection. I was skeptical about my potatoes (I like them crispier, all around golden brown delicious but that’s just personal preference) but they still had some crisp and were nice and fluffy on the inside. I tried some of my partner’s corned beef benny as well; hollandaise was solid and corned beef was a pleasant surprise as well. We shared a french toast. My one critique was that I wish it was a *little* more crispier (again, personal preference) but the flavour was on point. Delicious food all around. The prices aren’t too shabby as well in this economy. Very solid breakfast joint! Will be back when we get a chance.

Boca branch on cosburn avenue is just another place in east york not to waste your money and overpriced. Please be aware that this establishment that service breakfast brunch and lunch has a pest control issue as well and was visited by the city of Toronto health departrent. When eating at these places that are very slow and business. You should remind yourself that the food can be old and you might end up getting sick because of expired items being sold and consumed by the consumer. I am sharing this experience since I also got sick at this place and want to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.And toronto medical health has been informed. Please Please be advised Has rodent and roach issues. Also I would like to say that this is way overpriced. When it comes to eggs, breakfast and brunch.This is not a downtown 5 star class hotel.All you can eat brunch and there is no justification for these prices. Anyone who pays these rates are simply fools. I will not be returning. I do not recommend this place to anyone.!
Love this place, the workers are really nice and easy to talk to, the food is delicious and worth the prices. I always get their chicken Caesar wraps because they’re just SO good!
BOCA serves awesome brunch and classic comfort food like Pancakes, French toast, sandwiches and many other foods, as their menu is quite substantial and should have something for everyone. Fantastic service from our server Tina as well!
Quintessential neighbourhood brunch spot with hefty breakfasts, pretty good prices, and friendly service. Stopped by and got the Avalanche and West Coast omelettes. Both were pretty tasty, with the Avalanche generously stuffed with bacon, sausage and ham, and the West Coast with standard salmon. They also had a good heaping of home fries on the side. Boca has a welcoming vibe and tummy filling breakfast fare. Can easily see why many people love it.
A great brunch place in the area. The banana chocolate chip pancakes are very good and filling. The hollandaise sauce is a little odd. The potatoes are very tasty.

Solid spot always nice to eat here portions are well sized where you never feel go stuffed but never empty either, pricing is great and affordable and always well worth the money spent, servers are nice attentive and easy to talk to will continue to return.

Hands down BOCA is the best brunch in East York! This is our tennis groups favourite breakfast spot. The food selection and quality is excellent and the prices are very economical. My favourite is the Eggs Benedict Florentine - best I have ever had. Never greasy and has good coffee too. Thank you BOCA!

We absolutely LOVE Boca. The food is deeelicious and the service spot on. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict is the best Ive had anywhere. Eggs are cooked to perfection and potatoes are both crispy and soft. We play tennis nearby and the other day, during a busy Sunday ,invaded the spot with 12 hungry folks celebrating a players birthday. They dont take reservations but not to worry--we were met with nothing but welcoming smiles and a speedy set up. Consistency is everything in the restaurant business and Boca delivers every single time. I highly recommend this lovely spot.Please go and see for yourself Remember to TIP GENEROUSLY !!!
Ive only ever ordered the standard type breakfast, and its comparable to other breakfast places that offer standard type breakfasts. Nice servers, and the closed patio is nice. Parking: Lots of street parking the few times Ive been.

Enjoyed brunch here for the first time. Food is delicious and portions are generous. Great coffee! Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Washrooms are very clean. Service and staff excellent and prices were reasonable. Looking forward to coming back to try some other items on their varied menu! Parking: Limited parking (for 2 or 3 cars) at the back of the restaurant. Parking on Cosburn or one of the nearby side streets might be difficult depending on time of day but we didn t have any issues on a recent Sunday around 12:30 pm.
Exactly what you want in a breakfast spot. Lots of options, all cooked perfectly. Good value too! Parking: Side streets have better parking than cosburn.
Hands down the best souvlaki I ve had in the danforth area! The chicken was so perfectly cooked and flavourful - just heavenly! My friend had the meat lovers omelet and was also blown away by how delicious it was. This will be our new brunch spot! Food

Me and my family had brunch at Boca after my daughter s baptism. It was great! The staff were great, food was amazing, and my family was suprisse with the size of the portions. I love Boca! Love going there during the week also whenever I get a chance. Very cute and pleasant place to go for breakfast.
This is a great East York brunch place with a great variety in their menu. Their food is pretty good!
Our new favourite place to go for brunch or breakfast. I am loving the omelettes. My latest favourite is the Avalanche. More like kitchen sink because it has everything! Bacon, sasauges, ham, peameal, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and probably a few other goodies in the cheddar cheese. Not only an insane amount of tasty items but the the amount of ingredients is most generous. I have never had an omelette with such generous amounts. Top this off with excellent home fries and toast and this is a very reasonable $18.00 feast. Recommended for days when you just want to home an so a lot of nothing after. And the staff are lovely. Sorry cant add any more praise on them. I have to sit back and veg with a needy cat now and perhaps a nap.

Went for the first time on a Saturday morning around 10am with friends and their 8 month old. Restaurant was super accommodating with a highchair and extra table despite it being a busy time. Restaurant was busy, but didnt feel crowded or loud (baby actually fell asleep!). Coffee was good (which is always imperative!) and food was delicious! I had the Strawberry Cheesecake Waffle which was great and husband had the peameal breakfast which he really enjoyed and had to take leftovers home. Prices were good, about average. Staff was great and the owner, Gus, was really nice. There is a large patio on site which we look forward to hanging out in in the summer. Parking might be a small issue as its all street parking, but we were able to find something immediately. Definitely looking forward to going again! Parking: Free street and side street parking, but limited spots unless youre ok to walk. Kid-friendliness: Really accommodating. Provided a highchair, extra table, kids menu/activity sheet and crayons (somewhat lost on an 8 month old but available!).
Beware of the food poisoning that s being served here because of a pest control issue and roach infestation that could cause anyone to become sick after eating as I did

I love the addition of BOCA to the neighbourhood! I have been in a few times now and it s always so delicious and consistent. Service is fast and super friendly, and i absolutely love that I can request gluten free toast! Not many places do this ! Our new go-to for breakfast!
This restaurant was recommended to us by regular clients...We were unbelievably excited and pleased to find one of our favorite servers, Maria, who had recently left another East York restaurant...She was a star there, and BOCA is thrilled to have her on board..Service was amazing, atmosphere is very welcoming and the food was fantastically good. If you havent already tried this place....just do it!!! You wont be disappointed..
BOCA is an unfancy spot for a great classic eggs breakfast. In addition to consistently tasty food, they have consistently good service. Our server today, Tina, was especially great. Warm, attentive, and so on top of things despite how busy the brunch rush was. It s the people who really make a place.
It was ok. Good classic brunch fare. I had the classic brunch. Wife had salmon Benny. Good value for the area. Other local brunch spots have more interesting food options, but if you want a classic brunch. BOCA is a good choice.

A welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Prices are up (like everything else) but the food is fresh, quickly prepared and staff are attentive and friendly. A slightly better deal than Rise and Dine, and Donlands Cafe.

A busy place is a sign of good food ! All the staff are very friendly and greet you with a warm smile . Our meals were so delicious, especially the apple pie crepes ! The pancakes were buttery and sweet and my daughter loved her kids breakfast ! Very filling portions and quick service! Definitely our new brunch spot ! Kid-friendliness: The colouring page had tons of activities and kept us busy ! Super cute design !

Great great service. I was trying to get breakfast for my daughter who doesn t like eggs lol and the waitress made a ton of accommodations for us and made sure we paid the lowest price. The coffee is good. The bacon is perfect. Not over or under cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Family friendly and bright space to check out.
SIMPLY A DISASTER! 1) Eggs NOT fresh, and felt sick. 2) This place is a joke on prices. 3) The whole block of businesses are closed. 4) NO Parking, got a $150 Ticket. 5) Go to Sun XXXX on St.Clair lots of free parking.or 1 min away. Also better places and stress free a minute away! GOOD LUCK TO YOU

Gus and his team are friendly and helpful and happy to make recommendations. BOCA is my new favorite brunch spot. I miss Pauls Spaghetti, but time marches on. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-oiled the service is in this new addition to the neighbourhood. The menu is extensive and offers basics as well as unique menu items (like apple pie French toast!). Portions are generous and its family friendly. Ill be coming back. Kid-friendliness: Bright and open restaurant with crayons and an activity sheet with kids menu for children. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps into restaurant and main floor seating. No automatic door. Bathroom is in the basement, but I didnt confirm if they still have an accessible bathroom on the main floor following the extensive reno.
A cozy, clean, little place that offers a good number of breakfast/brunch meals. The service is friendly and quick, and the prices are reasonable. I will be visiting this neighbourhood place to eat quite often...and I hope more of this type of restaurants appear in other neighbourhoods.

This place is exactly what the area needed! Sweet place, friendly staff and everything tasted great! The wife got the Greek omelette and loved it and she s a tough critic! I got the big Boca breakfast. I can honestly say everything was perfect. The eggs were cooked well, the home fries are awesome, the bacon and sausage weren t greasy or over cooked. I ve ordered this twice now, once I chose pancakes and the second time I chose the French toast. Both were good! Pancakes were fluffy and the French toast wasn t too eggy like it often is. I got a classic chocolate milkshake as well and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. The perfect dinner style shake. If you re looking for a proper breakfast spot, look no further! The food was amazing and really delicious. Highly recommend anything with hollandaise on it because it is truly top notch. I ordered takeout from then on mothers Day Sunday expecting them to say it will take about an hour being the busiest day of the year for brunch and they said about 20 min for pick up and sure enough done right on time. Super impressed they are that organized. They are new to the neighborhood and I hope they stay for a long time.

Nice local brunch spot with great covered outdoor seating. I had the peameal bacon and egg sandwich with home fries which was delicious. Fair prices but no alcoholic drinks available, doesnt lose any points for that. We will be back with friends next time!
This was my second visit to see whats what. I ordered exactly the same food. What I was served this time was horrible and different than the first time I was there, when is was okay for what the restaurant was. This was not. Service was what I would call bare minimum. Having to ask for more coffee in a bottomless cup rather than having it offered; having to ask for utensils; no one to greet me or seat me even when there is a sign asking me to wait, even though there was only one other person there. Dont stop here. Keep going to somewhere else.

We finally have found the restaurant to eat at when my family and I are in East York, Toronto visiting other family members. Food was so delicious, coffee and tea are a perfect taste. Must try Boca Brunch on Cosburn. This is a great newly renovated family restaurant on Cosburn Avenue. Open for breakfast and brunch. Indoor dining or outdoor covered patio available. TTC stop right outside (# 87 Bus at Linsmore). Friendly staff (you are blessed if you have Tina as your front end host) clean restaurant. Gus the owner always available for any special requests. Love this new addition to the community. Highly recommend!!

Tried this place a half dozen times. Out of those only once was it alright and the rest mediocre at best. Everything is so rushed out of the kitchen that nothing is actually cooked properly. The bread is never toasted and the home fries are consistently under done and soggy. Id give it a 1 except for that one time so 2 star for now.

Having brunch at BOCA Brunch on Cosburn Avenue was the worst experience I had ever had. Spotting cockroaches while eating at a restaurant is a diner s worst nightmare.I must report the incident to my local, since the ow er Gus was to busy to eve n show some interest on this issue. I had a serious stomach issue. So disgusting with how it was handled. NEVER RETURNING HERE! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

BOCA Brunch is a super cozy family brunch spot. The staff are friendly and the food is delightful. My favourite menu item is the triple stacked grilled cheese and I like to get it with a side of fruit salad. This is the kind of spot that makes East-End the gem that it is. Friendly faces and reliability good food in healthy portions.
They we re keeping 3 tables of 2 free for large groups only. They wouldn t separate them. We were 2, we needed to wait for 2 tables of 2 to free up. I don t understand their Management style.
Got the Boca benny with Uber eats. The hollandaise was amazing ! Was unsure how it would hold up in delivery but was great. Took about 15 mins to get here and was still warm
I can see why this place is so highly rated. We stayed overnight in East York and were looking for a good breakfast spot the next day. Came here because of the reviews and was not disappointed! Ordered within a few minutes of arriving and food was out in less than 5 mins, and was amazing quality. We will definitely be back and encourage others to eat here as well!
Went for breakfast with other people, Sunday quite busy, we all ordered and food came out except mine, waited a little time before asking waitress and off she went and returned eggs were nice but potatoes were not cooked through, obviously tried to rush the forgotten food. So in short everybodys food but mine nice not outstanding though !

STOP! I was not expecting such a disappointment by BOCA Brunch on Cosburn Avenue. We all tried it and seen a huge contrast by the other place thats five minutes from here. Parking was a nightmare and the food was simply blend No Taste. Prices are outrageous for what you get. I dont mind paying, but with the money we spent I could feed my family for a week! This is outrageous and NEVER AGAIN! I should have gone through the reviews and you should too. I hate the fact that some places have reviews that are contrary to the place. Such a waste of $$$$$ Will NOT BE RETURNING!
