La Cassetta is a wonderful find for this neighborhood. The food was excellent and we had great service.

Great small intimate restaurant with authentic food

This is a lovely little restaurant tucked away in East York. The type of place you dont want to tell too many ppl about cuz itll ruin the vibe. The staff were very friendly. Our server Natalie was an absolute delight! I went with my sisters and when we are together we can be a challenge to deal with (indecisive, easily distracted) but Natalie understood the assignment and answered all our questions, gave us suggestions and laughed along with us. I had the special of the day which was spaghetti Bolognese when it came out I thought it was a big watery but the flavor was incredible. Every one was happy with the dishes they ordered and some even ordered more to go. Overall I will be visiting again perhaps as a date night. Highly recommend. Risotto is one of the best in the city. Great atmosphere and staff are always friendly and helpful. So glad it s in the neighbourhood!

Great Italian place. Intimate. Great pizzas and pasta.

La Casetta cartered our wedding and they were absolutely incredible. Every single dish was a huge hit and the service team went way beyond expectations. The price was so reasonable and they were awesome to deal with as well. I just wish I lived closer so that I could support this business more often.

Terrible customer service went in and the lady came up in a rude manner. When we asked to use the bathroom I was told to pay to use it. If you want customers why be rude within the first second they come in as a business?

Every single dish here tastes like homemade food. Service is excellent. Once I ordered seafood pasta and by mistake I got pasta with Raghu sauce. It was soooooooo delicious. When I called to let them know about the mix up they offered me a free meal with a dessert, I did not expect that. Very welcoming atmosphere. I strongly recommend this place.

The food is great, the place is very nice.

Everything was good. Mushroom sauce was a little too salty for my taste but the rest are pretty tasty, especially the eggplant pizza. And the Panna Cotta is very enjoyable too.

Terrible service

Pretty good food in the neighborhood! If you order wine, good to know: they don t let you take back your wine - they won t re-cork the bottle.

We regularly take out pizza. It is consistent and delicious. The service is quick and friendly.

The definition of a hidden gem ! Tucked away inside this little restaurant in a residential neighbourhood is some of the best Italian food in the whole city. The food is seriously amazing, very fresh & inspired Italian menu. They have a real wood fire oven for their pizza. And their pastas are probably the best I ve had in the city!! Not pretentious, just extremely good food. And the price is very reasonable. plus that patio is adorable! Cant wait to eat there this summer.

Great food & service!

Had a Ceasar Salad, Tonnarelli Pasta and a Neapolitan Pizza. Everything was great. Though it was full quarters there was parking right in front. Our waitress recommended the Asti Barberry wine and it was perfect. One small thing: two of the large sea-shells were empty but i found their treasures later in among the others in the sauce. Probably best if they were stuck back inside their shells as the dish is being plated, if possible, for customers who may wonder, not realizing where theyve disappeared to.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Fantastic food. Great staff. Glad my family and I chose to come here. The staff gave us a tiramisu on the house, which was a delicious gift. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We were greeted by a rude hostess who told us they had a reservation, and we would have to eat outside. There were only two of us and two older adults inside. It was cold and rainy today, and we had to eat outside. We were in a rush between the TFC game and a hockey game at Leaside, so we stayed and ate outside. By the way, the restaurant was empty when we left. The food was excellent; the service was very unwelcoming. Ensure your customers are comfortable because you never know who they are or what kind of business they could bring you.

I ve never been disappointed dining here, which is why I average one visit a week. A little gem in Leaside. The pastas and pizza are wonderful, and the Caesar salad is definitely shareable for two. Sabrina provides great service and is helpful with the menu. I d highly recommend.

Got the food via Uber. Ordered calamari fritti, three pizza, a risotto and a pasta dish. The calimari was deeply disappointing. A small, expensive, not tasty dish. My seafood pasta dish was very well done. Saving grace, I ve added a full star because this dish was excellent. The pizza was horrible. Not only was one pizza requested to be lightly done, which came burnt, the other s were very lacklustre. Ive attached pictures of the pizza. Can t believe someone would send an order out in this shape. The vesuvio pizza was a spectacular miss. As you can see, there is some shredded cheese that clearly was an after thought. Really disappointed, won t be ordering again.

Truly italian! Sabrina came here from Italy 5 years ago and is doing an amazing job. The sauces were so vibrant and tasty we took some of it home even though the portions were just right it was so rich and delightful we wanted to spread it over another meal back home. I would go to this place over any franchise restaurant any day of the week! Looking forward to coming back to visit my aunt again who lives in the area.

1st time was an in person visit to LA Casetta. Loved the Caesar salad, grilled calamari and the service. Tonight ordered via Uber Eats. Was dying to try the pizza. Absolutely loved both the pepperoni and margherita. Of course I added caesar salad and grilled calamari to my order. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

I went there last week with my 3 year old son and the pasta they made for him was to die for. We had one to go. The customer service was exceptional. I have been looking for an Italian restaurant that was going to be our regular go to and finally we have it!

We had been meaning to visit La Casetta since they opened and finally got the opportunity this weekend and it was worth the wait! Everything was delicious, the service was wonderful, and I cant wait to go back again. I think Ive dreamt of the pizza for the last two nights haha! My 8 year old son, the pizza connoisseur, said it was the best pepperoni pizza ever! ;)

This small hub delivers such impactful food. Soo good 10/10. Even on a take out food didnt lose flavour heating it up. Cute intimate dining in as well.

I stumbled in here while hunting down groceries on a Good Friday. I had a look at the menu, and for the heck of it decided to stay for a meal. I had the rigatoni al funghi and was unequivocally delighted with my meal (paired beautifully with a glass of Prosecco). The pasta might have been more al dente than I prefer, but the sauce included chicken and generous amounts of mushrooms and kale. It was honestly a perfect little meal. I took home a couple of desserts (cannoli & tiramisu), and the bites I snuck promise a nice treat later on. Parking: handful of spots out front.

Decent neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food tasted good and the portions were generous. I recommend the frutti di mare which was well executed. The prices were also very fair for what you get. The service was a bit below expectation. We asked our server numerous questions about the menu but the response was consistently I don t know .

Great flavour on the pasta and pizza. Ordered appetizers that never arrived. Tables were cramped and got elbowed and bumped often. Pizza was cut in 4, I finished 3. Server asked if I was done and cleared the plate but never brought back the quarter of the pizza that was left. Go for the flavour but if they are busy maybe takeout is the way to go.

fast service, good food, quattro fromaggi pizza had too much parmesan but the gnocchi was really good Vegetarian options: there were not very many vegetarian options and they weren t pointed out on the menu so it was a lot of reading to decipher which didn t have meat

Looking for a real Italian pizza? Unfortunately this isnt the place to find it. I would call it a blend of American and Italian pizzas at best. We ordered two pizzas with delivery yesterday, Quarto Formaggi and Napoletana. Both pizzas were burnt beyond acceptable, but the main issue was the dough which was very far from Italian, or classic Neapolitan. The crust was plain and didnt raise and the daw was quite think. Quarto Formaggi had very little Gorgonzola, if any as well, Neapolitans ingredients were much better combined.

Probably the most decent Italian restaurant at this neighbourhood.

We love this place. The food is very good. I was sad to learn that Sal, the only employee with any personality, no longer works there. The only other thing that needs attention is how quickly tables are cleared. Tonight, we sat at one of the worst tables in the place while several tables along the window sat empty and not cleared. Aside from these faults, this is a great restaurant overall and we go frequently.

Quaint Italian restaurant located in Leaside.

A great little Italian family restaurant away from the bustle of leaside central, but still very convenient. Parking: A couple of spots right at the door and lots of street parking near by.

Lovely little spot with a friendly atmosphere and fabulous food with generous portions. Will be returning! Vegetarian options: A few good vegetarian options on the menu and they will accommodate vegan by preparing without cheese.

Over the summer my wife and I stumbled on this cute italien restaurant in Leaside. Our little one was hungry. We ordered 2 pies , gnocchi and appetizers pasta ball. These were delicious! Very clean , flavorful and quality ingredients. Omg the service was incredible ! We were very please by the atmosphere and it was very warm! Parking: 3 on the premise

A quaint little Italian restaurant that serves classic Italian appetizers, pizza and pasta. Got their homemade tonnarelli with seafood, grilled calamari and panna cotta. Overall good food and service.

Went for lunch with friends and it was lovely. Our server was not very good at all, im thinking maybe shes new at the job and just needs to learn the ropes? She got my order wrong and argued with me regarding the awning, however the rest of the satff where amazing...3 of us had pizza, all fabulous and tasty and one of us had the lamb ragu, which apparently was amazing. Will definately go back again.

Really good pizza and tiramisu. Fast and friendly service.

We got 3 pizzas but the highlight was definitively the Margherita with the sauce really stealing the show - a little hint of sweetness but not too much. We also got the Casareccia and the Carne e Miele, both of which were also good. Pizzas were all nicely cooked. Only way it could have been better is if we ate in and got the pizzas fresh out

Had our work holiday party here! Its an intimate, beautiful space but they managed to squeeze in 14 of us in comfortably! Sal was wonderful and attentive even with other tables and customers coming in regularly throughout the evening. They brought everyones food within a 5 minute span which was an incredible feat! Had the diavola pizza which was absolutely amazing but everyone really enjoyed their dishes :)
