Slayer Burger, simple menu, great local partners, premium beef ground daily and a passion for slayer tasting food.
I ordered food through this place for a Halloween party. They're sized for mini burgers/sliders were actually pretty big, same as fries and onion rings. I ordered 60 burgers, party fries and onion rings for 25 people (yonge adults and adults) and we had about 25 of the burgers left 🙃. The taste is also amazing . I don't eat salty food much and am very sensitive towards the taste but it was well balanced. I would recommend this place for Party catering or even just going and having a meal there. They also have a very good beer .
I ate lunch here yesterday. The theme is cool but should be lived up to more! No metal music, no electric guitar on the wall. They have a completely random robotic server, which I've never experienced, but it didn't come to my table anyway. This didn't seem to make any sounds or have any theme to it either, so what's the point? Okay, the food was a bit pricey but tasty and filled me up enough. The fries were fresh crispy, and the meal came with their own mayo parmesan type of sauce to dip. The service was smiley but not particularly helpful when answering my questions. It's not a bad place for a burger. I enjoyed the theme though it's underdone, and the food, but wouldn't frequent this place for a roughly $25.00 burger and fries.
Not bad, but also wouldn’t return. Overpriced! Went in on a Friday night to grab a milkshake, and decided on the “Slayer Milkshake.” It does definitely taste great, but oddly…. spicy when it goes down the throat? Weird haha. Anyway, the portion was tinyyy for it coming to over $10 after tax. Can’t speak on the burger, as we only grabbed a shake. Decent, quick service. Very quiet for a Friday night.
Beyond burger is tasty and delicious! Truffle fries was decent with truffle dipping sauce. Price is a little high for me about $28 as combo (regular pop drink) plus tax and tip.
Absolutely loved this burger joint! Their burgers are rock solid—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every single time. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Staff are friendly and service is quick, ensuring a great dining experience. Whether you're a burger aficionado or just in the mood for a good meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch burgers and a great time!
The Pandemonium burger offers a delectable combination of flavors and textures that make it a standout choice on the menu. The double Canadian AAA beef patties are juicy and well-seasoned, complemented perfectly by the soft and slightly sweet potato buns. The generous portions of American cheese add a creamy richness, while the smoked bacon provides a satisfying smokiness. The fresh tomato, crisp red onion, and tangy pickles add a refreshing contrast, enhancing the overall experience. The Slayer sauce adds a spicy kick that elevates the burger to another level. While the combination of ingredients is delicious, the burger can be a bit messy to eat due to its size and juiciness. Overall, The Pandemonium is a flavorful and satisfying choice for burger enthusiasts looking for a hearty meal with a bit of heat.
Ordered the slayer burger combo - I was expecting a really good burger. but the bun and the fries were almost more tasty than the burger itself! MAYBE I’ll try something else but right now it’s 70/30. There was too much sautéed onions for my liking especially because toppings are minimal, it’s the only things I tasted which was much at times!!
This place is a burger gem! We found out about it with my partner by chance and randomly one night, and since it has been our favorite place for burgers!!! If you're into burgers, this definitely has to be on your top list for it! The selection and variety of burgers are incredible... you can tell the quality of the smashed local meat burgers, so tasty and so worth the price a little over some of their competitors. I would recommend this place 200% it deserves all the business! Staff was also super friendly at this location, which is a plus for the customer service experience! Thanks Slayer 👌🏻
Great quality food. Always fresh and good sized portions. Plus Slayer bot brings your food when you sit in the restaurant
The best Beyond Burger in Toronto! The restaurant is clean and the music is a vibe. Kira is amazing! She was very patient answering multiple questions. Food
Had a pleasant interaction with Kira. She talked about the new menu, since I have a dietary preferance, she suggested for me to try the beyond combo and it did not disappoint.
you dont get whats advertised at this location! I ordered the Classic Smash Slayer Burger which is advertised as having bacon on it and it came plain without bacon on it. When I told the employee and explained my order arrived with a burger with no bacon on it, it just came with lettuce and tomato.. I had an employee say a generic response Oh sorry weve just started to do the Classic Smash Slayer Burger with no bacon on it you can change your rules but you probably should take out the description that says the burger contains bacon, lettuce, tomato, etc.. because thats false advertising and they have a picture of the burger with bacon on it when you order it... So basically you dont get whats advertised at this location! The employee just offered a nonchalant response saying sorry. Sorry doesnt help just change the menu on ubereats as to not mislead people from ordering stuff they dont get. Keep doing this to people and youll lose more customers. If youre a bacon lover as I am, then stay away from this inconsistent restaurant with false advertising. Edit: your employee said the owner would call to sort this out and you gave me a cowardly generic response in a review instead so that shows me youre not serious about solving customer issues. Also the Classic Smash Burger still has bacon in the photo on your menu and you havent changed it yet so you should be respectful and understand the frustration of this. You are the one misleading people, respect should be given by advertising correctly first. Whats your response to that? If any customer looks under the Classic Smash Burger picture combo it has bacon on it thats dishonest. i respectfully called your restaurant before Im a customer that ordered many times and I respectfully got no call or resolution back so this time I was a little more stern since you as an owner do nothing for the customer. Last time ordering and Ill be telling all my friends and partner that order this place is a nightmare! Good customer service and owner response :) haha
the best burger in Toronto, juicy, fresh bread and amazing service. We will definitely come back!!
This was the first time, it was an incredible experience to taste the fresh meat with excellent seasoning. I will come back again and again. I loved it
Good food and friendly staff
Yummy food, clean place and friendly staffs.
Good food, atmosphere, and excellent service by winslet
Good items. No regrets eating here.
The best burguer in town! Just love it! Perfect
Food tastes great...it is on the pricy side. Vegetarian options: They have an Impossible Burger Recommended dishes Slayer Burger and Fries
Freshly grilled burgers that are constructed well! Onion rings were good!
Food is fantastic and is brought out to you by a robot.!!
Tried cheese burger. Its tasty but small
Love Slayer burgers. One of our top 5 smash burgers in Toronto and the fries are delicious too. Always made fresh and hot.
VERY VERY EXPENSIVE 5 BURGERS WILL COST YOU 100$ JUST THE BURGERS
my partner and i tried here after a disappointing burger from five guys (surprisingly) and burgers priest - we def liked the burgers here better and we also like the service :)
Had a great time here. Love the juicy burgers and poutine. So much burger menu options. Gotta get the milkshake with it.
Id ordered twice delivery, didnt think it was anything special. But went at had it fresh at the restaurant...wow, this is a top-10 burger. Really good. Slayer sauce was super tasty.
Fresh and delicious
Was good! I ask for a Cesar Salad and was ok and a Hamburger!
Wow! So good! I was looking for a good dirty (in the best way)burger, and I was not disappointed.
Above average burgers! Shakes are good quality too.
The burger here was slamming and its a chill environment. Would highly recommend.
Good sandwiches, good fries, good seating area ,and even free parking on site.
This burger is awesome. Just a perfect. Good meat to bun ratio. The sauce is the best my mom ever had. Definitely a must try. I can t wait to go in and try their milkshakes and chicken with my daughter.
The fried Mac and cheese bites are phenomenal(super duper good- 10year old).
Love the Burger. So much flavor.
Honestly one of the best burgers Ive ever had and the milkshakes are awesome! If youre a metal fan and are in Toronto, you must go to Slayer Burger if youre hungry! The fact that its right across the street from The Opera House is an amazing convenience
First time going with my family and we enjoyed every bit of it. Was highly impressed from the service down to the food. Prices were a bit high but very understandable since the food was well cooked, a good portions. Had the philly cheese burger and onion rings . Definitely going back to try the charcoal burger.
The burgers were surprisingly good, and I really like the slayer shake. They have a good sauce to dip your fries/rings in as well.
SLAY! SLAYYY!!!! BEST BURGERS! Magnificent burger joint! A burger place for the rockstars and VIPs. Similar to how Gladiator Burger inspires the warrior in you, Slayer Burger inspires the deathmetal star in you. There are an assortment of megaburgers here. To slay without mercy, I ordered THE BEAST. THE BEAST has 6 patties, bacon slices between each, generous in cheese, carmelized onions, all between a quality bun. I recommend adding mushrooms. THE BEAST came and it was packing at least 6 inches! A BIG BEAST. See the pictures of the beast sized up. THE BEAST is so powerful and rare that only one of it gets slayed every month.. Beef patties were smash style and sizeable. The carmelized onions were rich in flavour. The cheese was good. The bun was voluminous. Grease was controlled and within reason, I have seen McDonalds double bigmacs shed more grease. THE BEAST is BIG but it is a pleasure to slay. It put up a good battle, in spite of its size, it held itself together without the pick, a well-assembled burger. This was an excellent burger. It puts to shame the pretentious burgers served at places like Harbour 60. It nukes out of orbit everything offered by the fast food big dogs like BK, McD, etc... All other burgers in the GTA are lilliputians before THE BEAST! The dining atmosphere is immersive. It is like a deathmetal concert stage inside. The lighting architecture and the metallic theme made me feel like I was in the Doom videogames stage. Wall art, decor, music, and overall theme inspires you to SLAY your meal. Staff were very friendly. Server took the time to match my slaying skills against THE BEAST. The tables and seating surfaces are immaculate. Even the washrooms are immaculate, fit for slayer stars. I have slayed THE BEAST, and I will come back and slay the PREDATOR and other burgers. Vegetarian options: The fries are vegetarian. Parking: Parking lot is spacious and well-lit. It is right in front of busy OConnor drive and shared by nearby open-late businesses. Kid-friendliness: A great place to inspire kids to become future BEAST slayers Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Great food, great service and friendly people, great atmosphere. Their smashed burgers ate the best Ive had so far and their fries are cooked just right.
The burger was well cooked but the single patty is barely any meat. It was thin slice drowned in mayo. I m not a particularly big eater. I never order more than a 4 oz patty and the single was maybe barely 3 oz? The food is fine but not a good value. The fries were good, and after eating the nothing burger you ll have room for the fries.
Not a bad location. Prices are not low. The robot waiter is a fun part. Burger is alright.
Delicious Nashville chicken sandwich!
The most important quality of a burger restaurant is the burger. An under-weight serving of beef pressed to the thickness of cardboard and grilled til there is no flavour left. Slap that on a bun and drown it in mayo. Yours for the price of a Five Guys burger. Checked with a neighbour who has also been, and this appears to be par for the course.
Deliciousness in a bun. Love how the flavour is crammed up in a thinner patty and dressing. It s not one of those burgers that is lo large and bulky that eating it is a mess. It s just perfection. Highly reccomend.
Food is excellent! Best burgers Ive ever had. The crispy onion rings are stellar!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Slayer, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Despite being closed, Aidrea graciously accommodated my request. Aidrea was incredibly kind and friendly, making me feel welcomed and appreciated. The level of hospitality demonstrated by the staff truly elevated my dining experience. I highly recommend Slayer for not only their delicious food but also for their outstanding customer service.
Their beers are pretty good as well
Really good burgers
The food is absolutely disgusting. Ordered the burger, fries and onion rings and everything is not edible. The burger patty is super thin, it was burned down, dry and terrible. On top of it was a thick piece of cheese that wasn t melted. Onion rings were soaked in oil. Crust is super thick and disgusting. The food is terrible. Do not recommend to anyone. You can only order it if you hate your life.
Food and service.
Got a double slayer, and it was 19.90 with tax. This was just the burger A 20 dollar burger should be perfect. It was above average, but a couple issues The bun was slightly stale. You know when the soft bits crumble? Im not talking about the toasted parts, but the inside of the substantial bun, that should be soft and spongey, were crumbly. The meat was slightly overcooked. With a double patty, you have almost an inch of meat, and even though the best part of a smash patty is the crust, that is still a lot of gray, dry meet. The bacon was good, a real cheddar slice, and the patties had a good crust. One last personal preference would be to have some freshness added to the slayer, as right now its all hot, savoury flavours with no balance. Some thinly sliced dill pickles, like shaved pickles, would be a nice addition.
Best burger of Toronto! I struggled to find a burger similar to the top Brazilian burgers until I finally found Slayer which is just as great. Now I only order here
this place has good food thats not expensive
Excellent food and service!! Definitely will go back
Great burgers and fries...consistently good!
Came here for lunch. We both ordered a ripper with fries, and she got a milkshake. In the end it was very tasty. Make sure to look at the right screen at the secret menu that rotates options. I didnt notice until after ordering.
Very friendly service food was great definitely a must try!!!!
Chefs creation burgers are amazing. A bit expensive but worth every penny.
My new go burger joint in Torontos east to slay the day! Secret burger menus & milkshakes what more could a foodie ask for?
I loved it.
This isnt a cheap fast food burger place, so visit for a serious party for your tastebuds if you are willing to pay for a great burger or BBQ brisket sandwich.
Slayer burger was clean, and efficient. We ordered our burgers and fries and in about 8 minutes we were ready to go. I ordered the double Slayer burger, while my wife ordered the single Slit burger and truffle fries, neither of us had drinks. Very surprised it still came up to $42 While the burger was tasty, I wouldnt recommend going for the double as it was two very thin smash parties and youre paying about $5+tax+tip for was seemed to be a 1.5 oz patty. We both said wed likely return, but I would have rather paid the money and got their secret beast menu burger for $36 and had an experience than the underwhelming portion for what we paid. So, I. Not a huge crinkle cut fry guy, Id prefer skin on salty carnival fries. Just personal opinion
Really great service and good food they make sure youre satisfied thank you Food
Enjoyed this fun burger joint! The burger was tasty and the crinkle fries were perfect! Plus, I loved the cute little robot that brought our food!
I was definitely expecting more given the high price. The burger was pretty tasty and the bun was a great addition but overall, didnt stack up to other boutique burger joints at the same price point. Pretty small portions given the price.
I love the burgers here. Ive tried several other burger places and slayer beats them all by far! The slit and slayer burger are amazing and the fries are yummy. Slayer sauce is delicious.
Hands down the best burger in town and it totally beats Burger Priest and Holy Chuck. I got the Vecna and the quality of meat is top notch and the ingredients are well balanced. Loved it!
Top notch burger and steak sandwich. Cooked well, flavourful, and fresh. Fries were okay. Onion rings and poutine wasnt the best. Will definitely be returning.
I had visited this place with a few friends. While I found the burger to be generally good, the price and value for money left me a little disappointed. For $35 I got a double patty burger (something I think is mandatory as these are smash burgers ) with fries and a drink to accompany it. While I can understand the price if the burger was a speciality burger, the fact the burger I ordered was relatively normal leads me to feel the price is rather high. The burger itself was cooked well, and the spicy sauce they make in-house was actually spicy! Their fries are crinkle cut and remind me of a certain popular US-based chain! Overall I d recommend this place, but I wouldn t return myself. It wasn t something that I found value in.
My friend loves going to this place because of the atmosphere I finally decided to try it should have ordered the double as there was too much bread in the single Patty the burger was good the mac and cheese bites were average. The robot bringing our food was amazing. Theyre sweater sauce is absolutely amazing. Like I said order a double because its too much bread not enough beef
This should really be 2.5 stars. But left it at 2 instead of 3 on price alone. Ordered 1 Classic double burger combo and 1 classic single burger combo. Price was $48. Way too much money for what you get. The patties are small and fried. Tasted okay but Ill never be back. Most of these fried burger boutiques taste the same. Youd be better off at Five Guys and save about $10 if not more. Staff was super friendly. They charge extra for lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc where most places its an option at no extra charge. There are burgers that include this but the menu is basic but still confusing if that makes sense. Fries and rings do not appear to be fresh cut or homemade. They have a super cool robot that brings your food to your table so I guess thats where the extra coin goes to. If you want to save $25, go to Kathys on Kennedy Road. If you like the fried burger boutiques, this place may be for you. Looks to be popular as there were a bunch of Uber orders being prepared. Just not for an old school burger guy like me.
There was a young lady at the counter that was helpful and very nice. She allowed me to try the different sauces and kept me updated on the status of my order. Packaging was nice and the food was good. Make sure you get the double patty, there is quite a bit of bread and a single patty wont be enough. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the price is quite high. I didnt notice anything that justified the high price. The robot that brings you your food is a neat idea.
Great food..will be back for more
Awesome
Family day was great food always excellent
Not the best burger - dry and the fries were a bit soggy
There is much to like about this place! Ive only been there a few times now, and I have had the wagyu beef burger, and it was amazing! For that 5 delectable precious minutes I was eating, I can confidently say I truly now understand what people mean when they talk about their food.... melting in their mouth! It was just that good! As for the regular burger options (and chicken, the food has always been well prepared with great condiment options. (and as well, they provide options for the food sensitive/ intolerant), Lastly, the renovated interior was very well done! So, I definitely encourage everyone to check them out!
Went here after a Drs appointment, great place, there was just 3 people working. The menu had hood options to choose from, the food was great. The bird of prey sandwich was to die for, it was amazing Definitely recommend this place!! Food
Very tasty burger
Expensive
These fries are the best Ive ever had.
Top Quality Burger experience ! ,
My go-to burger spot in Toronto currently.
tastes amazing
I was working nearby and stopped by for lunch. Was not disappointed! Double slayer burger combo was 10/10. I will definitely stop by again when Im in the area.
A wise man once said: The best burger spots shall be judged on their most basic burger: Meat, Cheese & Bun. Slayer Burger does it BEAUTIFULLY. Double smashburger with lots of cheese, bacon & ZERO extras is all I need. Added a little lettuce & tomato for a bit of daily veg. Was friggin DELICIOUS. I thought the reviews were joking about the dine-in delivery robot. THEY WERE NOT JOKING. That was a clever touch. They could use fountain drinks with free refills as an alternative to the overpriced & undersized drink options, but otherwise their menu options are quite good. Lots of stuff to choose from if youre feeling adventurous. The place has a metalheads motif: A cool mural on the wall next to the counter & sick-looking guitars in cases on the walls. They also pump in the appropriately themed music for dine-in, so maybe bring noise cancelling headphones if youre not into that sort of thing. TL;DR - 8/10. Excellent food. Cool atmosphere. Will definitely be back this summer.
Travels well, really good burger place. Much preferred over the competition such as Rudy, Priest, etc.
Ive had take out from here a few times, and had a delicious experience each time. The fries were crispy outside and tender inside, while the burger had well-balanced toppings and flavors. The buns were fresh and added to the enjoyment. Overall, this place knows how to make a mouthwatering burger, and fries, and the milkshakes are thiccc. with 3 cs. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal!
Update: the prices have really gone up and the Slayer burger was incredibly salty. $25 for a burger and salad seems expensive even with inflation. Original review: The food is delicious and reasonably priced! The Slayer Crispy Chicken and the Slit Burger are really tasty! Ceasar salad was very good and the Parmesan chips are a nice touch! They definitely slayed my hunger! coming back here fo sho
Their Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is a must try. Its packed with flavors but cant really say the same about slayer burger because, for some reason, it was full of sodium. The taste of salt was overpowering the flavors of condiments and beef patty. But still, i would 100% recommend this place.
$66 for 3 burger combos (one was a Beyond Meat patty). Normally I would be a little less critical if the resto has ample portions, or anything differentiated, but this place has neither. Fries were stingy for the cost, smash burgers had a single patty. The video Ive included is of their robotic server, which is the weirdest, most dystopian thing Ive seen in a long while. One of the two people working the cash could literally take two steps to deliver a tray anywhere in their seating area, but theyve chosen a robot to replace this minor task (and the people eventually?). Coupled with a tip request at the till, it all came together to leave a bad taste in my mouth about where the restaurant industry is going. Subpar portions, nothing special food, huge prices and a dystopian robot nightmare makes me never want to frequent this place again.
Love the Atmosphere!! Any person who is a metal head or just loves burgers will love eating in and enjoy the restaurant at least the first time and defiantly come back for seconds!!!
Food was great and so was the atmosphere. Have a couple things. Like some of restaurants have rotating menus on the side and I completely did not see it as I thought it was just advertising thing on the standing menu. The food was a little too salty for my taste but cannot complain about it. Lastly not really food related but as a girl going into gender neutral bathrooms it did not have all the necessary thing thing we may need. Great business, high tech digital waiter and great atmosphere just needs a couple of tweaks.
Not a bad place, just really expensive.
Was 4* but had to down grade. Way too expensive for what it is
I went in there for the first time today. The one cook took his t-shirt and whiped the sweat from his head and neck and did not wash his hands just kept cooking. I asked him what is with the t-shirt wiping he said I am sweating . The other cook is standing on the side in the kitchen texting on there phone Gross!I asked for a refund thank but no thanks!
Wonderful place to have the best burgers in town!!!..keep it up guys:))))
One of a kind! The best burger I ve ever had! Juicy and tasty! Definitely coming back to this place!
Service 10, Burger 10 On my first visit, we got a Guaraná. Gift for Brazilian!! Well be back soon!! Kid-friendliness: There is a robot serving.
Over priced but decent
Easily some of the most overrated or worse food i have had in a very long time
Since I was in the area & my taste buds were indecisive, I decided to try this place & they did not disappoint! I ordered the slayer burger which was very flavourful & juicy, along with onion rings they were hot & fresh! The restaurant was very clean & I love the set up & decor. I d definitely go back because I wanna try the charcoal bun!
Dude these burgers are bomb! Definitely worth every bite
Changing my review. Very good burger and onion rings, but not worth the $$$. Too pricey for a burger.
They charge an extra $0.75 for condiments like pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. Like, how greedy can you possibly be?
Great burger place!. We tried several items and were all delicious. The place is clean and neat including the rest rooms. One thing to mention, the portion is a bit small considering I paid $180 for a family of 5. Food
I am a realtor and I often take my clients out for lunch and dinner. Yesterday, one of my clients suggested that we should try this out since none of us had tried this place before. ABSOLUTELY ZERO value for money! I had the philly steak and my client had the slayer burger.. no FLAVOR!! and both were just nothing but a bucket of grease!! Spent over $50!!! for 2 combos? few bucks more, could have had a steak at KELSEYS or could have had a great HEALTHY AND FLAVORFUL lunch at EAST SIDE MARIOS for half of this money! I mean they have this silly robot that brings the tray to the table, which any kid would find it exciting and fancy? unless you wanna waste money to experience a machine bringing your food to your table? Then knock yourself out! if not? just an utter waste of money! if this is a franchise? God help the franchisee
I wanted to love this place and while the food was good overall, it was very pricey for what it was. I was not expecting to have to pay $0.75 to get basic toppings like lettuce on our burgers or to get ketchup to dip our fries in. The milkshakes are also priced pretty high, the one I got was $8.99, and the size is a lot smaller than you would be expecting for that price (see picture for reference). Also, there were no other customers there while we were so the employee behind the counter was on his phone which wouldn t have bothered me so much if it weren t for the fact that the tables hadn t even been cleaned. I don t think we will be rushing back but it s a decent meal if you don t mind the price.
You cant go wrong with the slayer burger here! Great stop for a fresh cooked burger.
Great burger that tasted genuinely char broiled. Friendly staff and a clean and pleasant dining area.
Delicious! One of the best burger joints in Toronto. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it given the quality. 5/5
I was not expecting to have the best burger I ever tasted, and I sure was not expecting a robot to serve it to me. I was so Impressed with everything, I bought one of their hats!
this place is evil, the put pork on my burger when my instructions said no pork they also swore at me hung up on me and didnt respect the fact that I dont eat pork in my relgion I have a recording of them saying a very bad word to me PLEASE DONT GO HERE its so horible the worst place ever, worst horible service horible
Omg I really suggest slayer burger to anyone loves burgers the are the best and also they serve you with a robot
Of course Im going to say great things about Slayer Burger. This place has the best burgers hands down!
Ordered off Uber eats . Personally for $19 bucks for a burger and onion rings aint worth it. they give you very little onion rings. and my burger for that price didnt come with any lettuce or tomato or pickles. Kinda a rip off. owning rings tssted like cheap frozen bought. Burger Priest fills you and the fresh cut fries are 100% better and you get so much for your money. just disappointed!
Great Burgers and Frys
The burgers here are the absolute best in the city! If I could go every day I would! The quality is outstanding. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. If there s anything I love, it s a great burger and their First Degree Burger just wow
Best burgers
Quality food!!
The smashed patties had a nice char to them. The bun was fresh and just soft enough. That bacon was crispy as requested. The crinkle cut fries were good too. I enjoyed the Slayer Burger Combo with two patties. The wait time was very acceptable.
Awesome food!
Good food .. very expensive!!
Some of the best burgers Ive never had to cook myself! Seriously though, they are great! Im slowly making my way down the menu (and secret menu, yes there is a secret menu) and so far have not been disappointed. If you are craving a burger, or a sandwich, go here for sure! This location also has a little robot server!
I was drawn here from the reviews. The decor was nice and spacious and was surprised to have a robot deliver my meal to the table. [ Slayer Burger (double) ] - The bun was delicious paired with bacon caramelized onions and slayer sauce. However the burger patties itself was what was disappointing. Did not feel like I was having a double as they seem to be pretty conservative with their meat. Patties were over cooked and dry which took away from all the good the rest of the burger brought. [ Fries ] - Their crinkle cut fries were good. Very light crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. At the higher price point of burgers (up to $39.99 for a burger), I am not impressed with their quality control. Unfortunately I can only rate based on my current experience. Would update on next visit if there is one.
Great burger.. big Lemmy mural and bass HANNEMAN wall art what s not to like ?
Amazing burgers!
Stopped by here for a late lunch, it was fairly empty and Id guess its because their prices are a bit crazy. It was 40$+tip for 1 burger and 1 combo with onion rings. The food was ok but not great and Im pretty sure they used processed cheese on my burger. I wouldnt come back anytime soon
We live around the area and decided to try out the burgers. They are delicious and a great option when you don t know what to get for dinner. The burgers are awesome, we always grab a couple when we go in.
Love the packaging and the whole branding they have. The mac and cheese bites are not great; kraft type. The burger is okay poutine is salty and mediocre. Overall looks great tastes meh.
I got some chicken burger and it was amazing! It was so juicy and tasty. Cant wait to get another.
Good
Slayer Burger has a simple, but well executed (sorry!) menu. Some may think that its pricey, because you could get a burger for half the price at a fast food chain, but dont pass this up! Burgers are smashed style, thoughtfully topped and with an excellent brioche bun which enhances, rather than overpowers, the flavor profile of the burger. Nice decor, with a fun quirky theme. Their First Degree Burger is quite something ... maybe someday, when I want to indulge. For now, Ill stick with the eponymous Slayer Burger.
Fantastic food, friendly staff. Always love going to Slayer Burger
Love the ripper burger..Soooo good !!!
The burgers are really nice especially the Classic burger The robot server is quite unique and on point
Great burgers.
I got the wagyu beef burger with foie gras and bacon. I really liked it. It had a very rich taste and was flavourful. To me the squid ink bun just tastes like a regular bun but looks cooler. It was a very good burger, but not something I would eat regularly as it was a very expensive burger.
Ive now tried both the standard Slayer Burger and the BBQ Brisket Carnivore sandwich. Unimpressed with both. Prices very high, taste & quality very low. The basic Slayer Burger Burger starts out at $10.99. The very thin beef patties were overcooked, dried out, almost flavourless. The bacon was so thin it was translucent. Maybe 3 small pieces of squishy carmelized onion on it. Cheese is a standard processed slice. I personally do not like their Slayer Sauce, so I ordered the burger without it. (You should not be relying on slathering your burgers with sauce to give them moisture / flavour.) And speaking of fries ... they cost extra, at $4.99. They look like McCain frozen crinkle fries. Very bland, nothing special, and while a decent sized portion, ridiculously over-priced. The Brisket sandwich had a *lot* of fat. Brisket needs some fat to be juicy, but this was like about a quarter of the sandwich contents being unrendered, greasy fat. Also a fair bit of gristle. The brisket itself tasted ... OK ... but mostly just smokey. I dont know what kind of spice rub, if any, they use, but it was nonexistent in what I received. Ive had a lot better brisket elsewhere (and for less). The only real flavour came from the guava BBQ sauce. Speaking of extras ... you want a sliver of pickle on your burger? 50 cents. A thin slice of tomato? 50 cents. Lettuce? 50 cents. Some toppings are $1 or more each. If you order via Skip or Door Dash, base prices increase to $12.99 (Slayer Burger) and $17.49, (BBQ Brisket) respectively, and $5.99 for the fries. For the prices charged, I was expecting something exceptional. Instead, nothing special, over-priced, uninspired.
Excellent place, delicious food, good service and I love the way it looks.
Have yet to find another joint outside of Greece that make incredible burgers. These guys are close but whats with the prices? Your beef isnt even pasture raised & nothing special on the toppings. Not impressed.
10/10 would recommend, all the burgers slap, pretty quick to get your order too, at both locations, on Queen and East York, I high suggest getting the ice cream shakes too, :D
Nice people good service
~Slayer Burger~ We had our eyes on this place for awhile and finally had the chance to try them! We both had the classic burger and shared a poutine. Great portions, I couldn t even finish my burger, I was kind of pigging out on the scrumptious poutine The fries were crinkle cut and fried to perfection, with tons of cheese curds and warm gravy. The burgers were super juicy and were not lacking in fresh toppings! Kind of expensive, but the quality makes up for it. Oh and they also had this super cute server robot! Overall a great sit down place to have lunch and eat super yummy burgers!
Solid burger place on the same line as fresh burger. One thing that really stands one are the truffle fries and I like the idea I can have a beer with my meal. Ive been meaning to try there wagyu Burger but at $42 a pop Im waiting for a special occasion. Highly recommend and I will of course return.
I got a smashed burger with bacon, sautéed onions and cheese, yet somehow I tasted none of it. All I could taste was the grease of the burger and virtually no flavor (which makes no sense because the other ingredients should ve had flavor). For the price of a gourmet burger this was totally not worth it and I have had way better things at this price point. I tasted better things down the street at the Harvey s. The fries were great and crunchy. The robot was cute and gimmicky and only dropped someone s food on the floor once in the time I was there! 2 stars for the fries, not a fan of the burger.
Good spot for fresh burgers but it is expensive.
Delicious, Metal ambience, human counter staff and robot server which the kid loved
A high-end burger experience, if the price is not a concern. Get served by a robot , too !! Parking: Ample parking right to the door.
Best burger Ive tasted in Toronto.
Tasty burgers, on high end of price but worth it. Slayer milkshake is the best ever! Parking: Plaza
The best menu and best service Keep up your good work
1st time visit. Staff friendly, menu easy to follow, very clean. Robot is fun but is it there to enhance or detract? i suspect its for the empty hype. Had a burger, fry and drink. At mid $20s for a combo, a bit pricey vs fast food but inline with the dozens of gourmet burgers out there. Can of diet coke was icy cold. Fries were frozen crinckle cuts, were served piping hot, which is great but tasted about the same as my home-oven made mccains and less tasty then my airfryer mccain crinkle cuts. Please Use fresh potatoes. Frozen fries didnt deliver. What about the star of the show... the double slayer burger i ordered.... i thought i was getting a star but was served the understudy instead. Bun fresh, cheese and bacon, good. The meat patties....a complete fail. The cook seemed completely ignorant of the maillard effect. Patties were grey, rubbery and tasted bland like they were boiled. If you make and sell one thing, a burger, you need to understand what makes a burger great. Will give this place 6 months to learn how to cook a meat patty and then try it again. Nicely Browned patties and fresh cut fries is what this place needs to serve.
Delicious food. And a cool robot to boot lol.
Everything here is different and delicious love it
I would eat here regularly if it wasnt so expensive. 25 bucks for a double burger with fries and a drink. Really good quality burger meat, but just bacon cheese onions and aioli for toppings as well. for a place that has limited toppings the burgers should be cheaper. Better than five guys but almost 10 bucks more for a burger that we cant even dress ourselves. Not a fan of the aioli trend that every burger place seems to always need to have. definitely not worth the price.
First time experience being here. And the food does not disappoint. The slit burger is juicy and topped with lettuce and a sauce they use, that adds a kick to it. The fries are crunchy and good. Will be heading back here for future lunch grabs.
Must visit and must try! They have great burgers in the menu and more burgers in their secret menu will have to come back and try the chicken sandwich and the brisket sandwich.
I ordered take out and have done so many times during the pandemic. The food was really good. Loved the size of the Slit Burger, and the onion rings were also delicious and crispy.
One of the best burger places in Toronto! Love it
Hard to decide what of the experience was better, the service and friendliness of the employees or the food. Probably the best burger Ive had in years if not my whole life - Ill go out of my way to find another one of their locations the next time Im in town again.
Awesome burgers and quality
The service and the burger were amazing, not fan of their fries, everything else is great.
Every single time I eat a slayer burger combo from here it always tastes amazing regardless if I come in person or order it to my house. 10/10!!! :)
Nice food, nice place, nice staff!
The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. Theres a little robot that comes to your table and serves your food which is super cool. The only downside for me was that on a weekend night at around 8, there literally was no one in the restaurant! The lady behind the cash register was kind of surprise to see my friend and I walk in, lol!
Ordered online. Philly steak was extremely salty (maybe the sauce?) and the sandwich was dry. Fries were mediocre.
Staff courteous and prompt. Slayer burger with 2 beef patties, handful of fries and a pop. Okay burger. $21 for the combo meal too excessive.
It is ok. The patty was paper thin - felt like I was eating just bread. For the price, I expected way more. Unsure if I would order again. Fries and dipping sauce are really good though!
Good burger
First time trying Slayer Burger! Had the Ripper. It was a really tasty burger. Loved that it was cooked medium well. The patty itself was huge. The crinkle fries were also awesome. Super crispy and light. I really dont have anything bad to say about this joint, but the prices are just a bit too high to come here regularly. $16.99 for a delicious bacon cheeseburger when theres a joint near me that also does a fresh, never frozen banquet burger for $6.75. It was nice to try as a treat, because it really was very enjoyable.
Loved the friendly service and cool ambience and robot delivering our food. I liked the chocolate milkshakes and onion rings. Although the buns are freshly baked, I found that the slayer burger needed more seasoning and wish they were more juicy. I really disliked the mac n cheese bites. I thought I ordered mac n cheese but got the bites version and would have preferred their onion rings or ripple fries.
Amazing !!! Double Slit - the bun was so fresh!! Great friendly ppl. Fast service!
Bad service. They took wrong order from us and they even didnt wanna admit it was their mistake. I was a repeater here but I will not come back again.
Great burgers!
