I order boxes of their empanadas through UberEats once in a while and the food is always stellar. I ll admit, it feels like the products can be a bit on the pricier side, but rest assured, you re getting some top notch quality bites. Their sauces are pretty nutty, a must get!

I ve been a fan of their empanada since I discover this place 5 years ago! We love most of the stuff . Blue cheese is one of my fav, and bacon and cheese and prune all of them are deliciousoooo ! And the cheese bun bites! Dulce de leche! And alfajor . I would recommend House of Empanada ! And also easy for me to get it since it s near to where live.

Just had these. Theyre amazing in quality and taste. The pastry shell itself is fantastic and perfectly baked and flakey. Top notch! But portion size and price is way to expensive to go more than once in a blue moon. Its $6 per empanada if you get 6 and 4.50 if you get 12. Have to get 12 next time for best value. As good as they are the price it cost to filll yourself up. 35 for 6. Or heavy on the wallet 12 for 50 for 1 person is a bit much considering what 35-50 gets you around in the GTA. A bit out of my budget and tax bracket perhaps. Lots of great fresh made from scratch food with high quality ingredients that will feed you all day for that price. Would be nice if they were a bit bigger with more stuffing at the current prices or some sort of cheap filler sides that come with a box of 6 at that price like a salad or some chips or fries or 1 dessert empanada as a bonus with every 6 that you get with a free sweet sauce..for the price Id expect them to use all organic ingredients and an expensive high quality olive oil or avocado oil, homemade from scratch mayo or organic mayo. Will go back and try it again. The price and portion sizes for the cost for 1 individual are why its not 5 stars to me. Just too many better high quality high protein filling fresh options out there for $35-50 a person for me to choose from. If youre in a group of 2 the portion and price it cost per person works alot better for a box of 12 if you get 3-4 free sauces with it instead of 2 (box of 6 gets 2 free) box of 12 still only get 2. It should have 3 or 4 to better mix and match dessert flavors and savory flavors for better value.

My partner is from Argentina and we have been searching high and low for really good Argentinian style Empanadas. Tucked away in a little kitchen we found House of Empanadas and they truly hit the spot. Finding out that the owner (and head chef?) are Argentinian came as no surprise and we ate all 6 of our empanadas before they even had time to cool. I tried the beef, chorizo and cheese, and the guava and cheese options. The guava and cheese was delicious and a perfect desert. The chorizo and cheese was packed with flavor, but the beef was perfectly seasoned and exactly what I had hoped for. My vegan partner had the spinach, the better meat and the corn options. She really enjoyed the spinach and the corn is probably the best corn one we ve tasted in the city. However, the better meat was so good! Possibly even better than the normal beef All the empanadas were made to order, came with 2 sauces, and were cooked perfectly with a nice flaky pastry. These are so good we are heavily considering ordering them to add to our wedding hors doeuvres menu!

Ordered the box of 6 empanadas and was absolutely delighted! The crust is delicious and super flaky, and I loved the range of different fillings to choose from (highly recommend the chicken empanadas). The chimichurri is also a must have. Will definitely order again!

If they keep doing what they are doing - they will be rich. Its a food all on its own but if you enjoy pastries and have ever enjoyed a Jamaican patty - thats basically the consistency but better. It stands on its own. As long as these folks stick with their current model - they will be huge. I ordered a 12 pack to share with friends - ended up sampling a bit of each flavour - incredible. The sweet potato actually tasted better than a donut which I was not expecting. In addition to this - the meal style empanadas were top notch and unique - no bland flavours. The attention to detail in the box immediately answered my first question which was - how will I know which is which? See below. Vegetarian options: Some of the options are vegan.

If you havent had House of Empanadas, put down the review, hit directions, and go now to get your Empanadas. Now is the time, and you need to go now. This place has mastered Empanadas, and they are beautiful. The flakey crust, deep flavourful fillings, and side sauces are delicious. The crust is flakey, baked to perfection, toasty on the outside and soft, moist, and just the right thinness on the inside. These Empanada fillings are packed. And you get the right mix of filling and crust in each bite. My personal favorite was the Chorizo and Cheese, followed by Spinach and then Steak & Provolone of the 3 I tried...so far. This caused a big argument between my friend and I, as his favorite is the Steak & Provolone, but to each their own. Blink and youll miss it, so dont blink because this is a walk up that doesnt have seating inside. They make your Empanadas fresh to order in 20 minutes. Be patient, take a moment, and just wait. Itll be worth it. My only disappointment is that I didnt grab some bags for home baking. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian Empanadas like Spinach. Im sure they have others.

We ordered a 6 mix and match box of empanadas and cheese bread bites. Empanada flavors were: chicken, chorizo and cheese, steak and provolone, spinach, and ham and cheese. I was most looking forward to the spinach, but it was surprisingly sweet. I really liked the chorizo and steak. Chimichurri sauce was delicious. The cheese bites were my least favorite. It was like a very dry biscuit. Neither of us could finish it. I would order the empanadas again.

Fantastic vibe, music and current decor is great. They were patient while i botched chimichanga and chimichurri, my bad! Even after that he took the time to explain the ingredients and talk about the Argentinian style of Empanadas. The sauces were amazing, and the baked pastry was perfect, i personally enjoyed the chicken ones but i was suprised at how good the beef and olives went together, all in all 5 stars.

Delicious surprise! Grabbed an assorted 12-pack of panadas on a hangry whim, and they turned up presented perfectly, bigger than I thought, and so flaky and tasty. I recommend the 12-box, a couple o garlic mayos and telling your friends youre not available.

Was passing by, decided to stop for empanadas, as a conocedor of these precious food (grew up eating them) I find these ok, tasty but not exactly empanadas, I tried the chicken version. Now, they wont sell single, is either 6 or 12, size is small, texture is flaky, these r oven baked btw so not soo much greasy look or feel, the shell racks really easy n thats great if u have soft teeth, inside the filling is paste with chicken flavor, normally empanadas have a piece of chicken meat deboned. These r more as a snack replacement unlike the ones back home that replace lunch or breakfast.

I ordered online and Im so happy I discovered this place. I tried the beef empanadas and together with the chimichurri sauce were absolutely delicious. The dough was so crispy and tasty, felt like the most delicious croissant ever filled with meat, onions, pepper, etc. Ill order again and try new flavours. Five stars

The food quality is great. The presentation is excellent. I dont know enough about this style of food to say if it is authentic taste. But the price is just too high for me. Cookies...Delicious, definitely. But for $4? The empanadas...flakey, enough filling that tasted good. But 6 for $30? $5 for each pastry? Maybe that is the normal price for one, I dont know. This my first time ordering from here. It seems to me that your paying for the excellent packaging.

Just picked up 6 empanadas here amd we are delighted! They are so flaky and delicious you just have to give it a try. Ee had the beef and as you can see for the picture, got in there without taking the picture of 6 in the box. The best we have tried ever. Also the dips are amazing, could just devour it. Definitely going to be a regular place for us.

Excellent empanadas, they have many flavors to choose from, the ones I liked the most so far are the onion and cheese ones; You must pre-order by phone and they make boxes with 6 or 12 empanadas, they take about 20-25 minutes to be ready. We ordered empanadas for our Regatta and they did not disappoint! We bought the beef, chorizo and cheese, tomato basil and cheese, and spinach for appetizers, and nutella, apple and cinnamon, and guava and cheese for the desserts. The empanadas were delivered in nice boxes (like pizza boxes but better). They display very nicely, and I wish I had remembered to take pictures before the empanadas were devoured! They were tasty, flaky, and the fillings were wonderful. We didnt have any leftovers!!! People were so happy with them and kept complimenting us on how great the food tasted! Thank you again for feeding us your wonderful baked empanadas! We will be back for sure!!

This was my first time trying empanadas, so I didnt know exactly what to expect. I ordered ubereats and I got excited by their packaging itself. I ordered 6 mix empanadas ,cheese bread and sauce. Taste wise it was good. I like chicken and beef but guava and cheese you might only like if you are into sweet things. but I think the price is on the expensive. $9 for 6 small PC bread and $2 for the 1 small sauce which seemed like should have been part of the empanadas box.

I was looking for a while a great place of empanadas in Toronto. I recently found the house of empanadas and order the box of 12, really tasty! Definitely impressed for the selection of great quality ingredients , variety to choose from and lovely packaging . As a Latina which have tried different empanadas , I will totally recommend to give this place a try!

One word: DELICIOUS!! I was feeling lazy so decided to try a new restaurant. House of Empanadas menu caught my eye on Uber eats. Figured Id try em out. Bought a box of 12, selecting every filling option. Not cooking dinner that day was the best decision I couldve made lol. The box the food came in had a ribbon on it and once opened they carefully labeled the different Empanadas. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the portions. Now I need to visit in person when the food is fresh out the kitchen!!! Great restaurant, glad I took the chance.

Ordered a 6 box for takeout. The chorizo, corn and chicken were the best ones by far. The ham and cheese was too sweet for our liking. Chimichurri was perfect. Wish they were open weekends!

I would have shared some pictures but the empanadas were so good we did not want to stop eating them. The pastry was light and crispy and the fillings plentiful and tasty. We sampled the ham and cheese, better beef, spinach and chicken. Absolutely delightful. Highly recommend.

I live right around the corner from this place and did not realize empanadas were not just made but also sold from here. Flaky, tasty empanadas with multiple filling options. We got chorizo/cheese, chicken, apple, beef, cheese/onion and ham/cheese. There were other options as well and each one tasted better than the previous one! Yes, they are a bit pricey but well presented with two complimentary dips/sauces and it feels great to support a local business. I ll definitely be back.

UBER EATS DELIVERY REVIEW: Presentation was amazing, got the 6 piece sampler and felt like I was opening and getting a gift. Overall, everything tasted amazing although heavy on the onion which my girlfriend didn t love but I say, you can never have too much. Highly recommend if not just for the crispy flaky crust.

Tried a couple of their empanadas at the coxwell market and I was intrigued. A few days later I placed a mixed order for a dozen. Wow! Everything about these lil beauties... Is delicious? Are delicious? Whatever. Highly edible! The crust is so light and flaky, you could put anything in there and it would taste good. The fillings were all packed with flavour and a perfect portion to size ratio. Oh and dont forget about the sauce, the chimichuri pairs great with any of the savory flavours. Ill be back for sure!

Went here on a whim to get some food to go with the beer from Muddy York (highly recommend!). I got 3 chicken and 3 beef. Both were excellent, but the chicken was exceptional. The pastry is light and buttery, and the chicken was well spiced with a nice assortment of peppers and other veg.

Empanada pastry was amazing. Chimichurri was also on point! Wished some empanadas had a little more flavour. Spinach was my fav :) I was not fond of the Alfajores. I ve had them elsewhere and much prefer other places. Would visit again!

Sad to hear that you have reduced your radius of delivery. We just live 6.5km from your store. Did a delivery last week and no problem. Trying to do a new delivery today and I can t. Sad. Well, UberEats app didn t want to deliver to our location because it showed there was a change in radius. You should check with them. DoorDash app doesn t work very well. Tried to select a dozen and pick the ones I wanted, but it forces you to select at least one of each. That s why I ended up selecting a dozen of Nutella and wrote a note asking for only 10 and 2 cheese ones. Thanks for noticing. The Nutella are delicious.

Ive ordered from House Empanadas several times and I am never disappointed. Whether its the meat or vegetarian options, they are always fantastic. The pastry and fillings are always flavourful and the texture is perfect. I have been buying empanadas from this amazing place pretty much every week or every other week for 2 years. Authentic and the dough is so flaky, it just melts in your mouth Great food, great prices and simply incredible staff. Always so friendly. Highly recommend.

I got an order of mixed empanadas and Im never going anywhere else for empanadas. They were absolutely delicious and I plan to order from here again.

Empanadas are so fluffy and their takeout/delivery is truly a gourmet experience. I got a mixed batch and favourites were blue cheese, steak, chicken, and spinach. I also tried the bacon/cheese/prunes and wasnt a fan. The prunes were surprisingly good but the baked bacon didnt work for me. The chorizo/cheese was ok but not as good as the other options. I would have loved it even more if there was more of a tangy/vinegar/tart sauce to cut through the fattiness of the butter (and needless to say, this is not a place to count calories).

We ordered 4 dozen for a local youth program event and Nico was so friendly and amazing to help us deal with the order and delivery. We particularly love that they offer halal and vegetarian options, which makes them so much more accessible! The empanadas were a delicious hit and crowd pleaser!

Excellent presentation and delicious food. We got the mix and match set of a dozen and they do an excellent job labelling which empanada is which flavour as well as what are the ingredients in each. The Veggie one was my favourite one, but it contains green olive slices. I like that, but figured Id mention it in case you do not

The House of Empanadas is one of the finest Empanadas I ve ever tasted. I didn t expect that it got 12 delicious flavours and a fancy packaging. I truly thanked Nicolas for being accommodating with my orders. I didn t call ahead of time but he didn t hesitate to prepare 3 dozens of Empanadas for me to share with family and to give out to the Healthcare workers at the pain clinic. Anyone looking for something refreshing, a great quality of finger foods, this is the place! Bought a package of frozen empanadas from Rosemont General Store far up north, even partially thawed by the time I got home, they exceeded my expectation. Truly delicious!

Nice empanada for pickup: beef, spinach, chicken, chorizo & cheese etc. (We hope they will offer some Gluten free too at some point). Located in a mostly industrial and commercial area which is starting to hide more and more gems like this place. Close to craft breweries. Bonus. :)

Best empanadas I have tried. But will admit have not had a ton! Not cheap, but also not crazy expensive. Dipping sauces really good. Would recommend

Amazing product! I ordered through Uber eats and the empanadas were fantastic. They arrive warm and a beautiful package, my favourite one is the chicken and chorizo and cheese. Wherever I go and try empanadas, the cheese one has little or almost no cheese, in this one I was amazed by the amount of cheese that Empanadas had. I am so happy that I discovered this place.

Pleasantly surprised to find a place that makes great empanadas near my house. I ordered 6 chicken and 6 beef and they were amazing. The flavors are gorgeous and the pastry really flaky and light. When I picked them up and ate them and hour later they were still warm. The gentleman that worked there and gave me my order was really friendly. Definitely will be back for more.

Las mejores empanada que he probado en Toronto! I highly recommend the chorizo cheese for people who dont like spicy chorizo like myself, extremely flavourful and delicious! The beef and chicken empanadas are excellent as well, cant wait to try to rest!

I ordered 3 types of Empanadas for Friday dinner and it was super delicious! The semi-crunchy dough, the variety of stuffing and the Chimichurri that gave it all an extra dimension of flavour had made all the difference. I have no doubt that its going to be my go-to place for Empanadas in Toronto, Highly recommended!

Ordered 12 Empanadas a few days ago giving them a shot. The food was AMAZING all me and my family thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! The sauces are well worth the price as they compliment the favor of the food really well! Id recommend this place in a heart beat and will be back for sure!

Visited this place on an Instagram post I saw and because I wanted to find out what Argentinian Empanadas taste like . These empanadas do not disappoint! They are so flaky & flavourful, and smell fantastic . The filling is just right , and every kind empanada has it s defined taste. So happy I went . And don t forget the chimichurri it s out of this world !

If you live in the delivery area, you have to order some of these! We have ordered several times already and, every single time, we have enjoyed it. They have a short list of flavours (around 6) but, there is definitely something delicious for everyone. The empanadas are not too big, however they pack a lot of taste and can quickly fill you up. By the way, the price might seem a little expensive at first but, these are a treat and you will probably pay as much (and more) at a restaurant.

Woooooooow, this empanadas take you far away with your mind. You will feel like life is happy. Strongly recommended to try it ASAP.

So flaky and delicious! The best empanadas Ive ever had! The staff is also very friendly and answered all of our questions (and made amazing recommendations). The smoky dipping sauce is to die for and I will definitely be going back for more and buying frozen ones to make at home!
